I think I recall you mentioning before that you started out doing stuff with Chreon before you fell into the Kennachenko rabbit hole.

I went back to working on one of my Chreon fics earlier tonight that I haven't touched in a while cause I got caught up with other ship fic projects. But while working on it I had a really cute idea that gave me a cute Chreon thought and wanted to share it with you.

I HC that Chris (and Claire) like honey a lot. Chris likes smoking meats himself, especially smoked fish and covering it in honey when he does it. Because of this, Leon has jokingly (and affectionately) taken to fondly calling Chris a Honey Bear, or "my honey bear." Which is sure to fluster this romance awkward man very quickly, and Leon loves seeing him turn so red and bashful.

The bear joke started cause Chris' favorite nickname for Claire is Claire-bear (he also calls her Eclair but that's a nickname that started from their parents when they were little). So Leon took the bear theme in the Redfield family and ran with it.

Which also gave me the cute thought of Chris and Claire as werebear cubs covered in sticky honey because they wanted a snack and got into the honey pots. And Chris, even as an adult were bear is a weak willed man in the face of a tantalizing honeycomb.

Just felt like sharing some tooth rotting Redfield (and Leon) fluffiness with ya. I hope you have a good week!

Aw, that's adorable <33 Chris rly is just built like a bear it really suits him a lot. They would absolutely give Leon the biggest of bear hugs! There's so much sweetness to this dynamic I suddenly crave for honey lol.

this is one of my favorite theses in the inkworld each way it plays out is so!!

elinor's dad valued his books over her and her sisters to the point she internalizes it and becomes the same kind of hermit he was, before and after the folcharts come back into her life. basta was groomed into believing he was inherently unlovable except by capricorn so he'd do anything to keep that small remaining amount of love. brianna realizes if dustfinger wasn't dead then he had to have abandoned her, so the next person to give her their full attention? she'll throw away every other relationship she has for them, the same way she was thrown away. the verbal abuse violante endured as a kid (and currently, because 19 is still a kid) influenced the kind of mother she is and she doesn't even realize until it's almost too late that she's done to jacopo what the adder did to her! and I've already talked about the physical abuse from farid's birth family influencing how he forms severely anxious relationships.

and none of these are just character padding! all of these characters influence the plot so heavily by becoming traumatized and by working through it and I don't have any idea how she pulled it off

very empty

from the very beginning she was basically assuming she was going to be kicked off the team at any given moment, so i think she would have her bed and some clothes in there and thats about it

plus every time she leaves she has like. a bag. and nothing else. and i really think that that bag basically holds her whole life bc she doesnt have a lot of things other than some clothes and some weapons

not to mention anything that she mightve once had was pretty much either destroyed by wade or left behind when she was 15

and even other than that. anything she mightve had was probably left behind when she joined slade. so this girl owns basically nothing besides her essentials

but as a treat i think that the only personal item she really owns is lili's necklace, just bc they never found her body and never buried it with her so i can imagine rose keeping it :) especially because even when she was with deathstroke she really just wanted to have a family so i dont think she wouldve gotten rid of anything of lili's even while she was drugged
