THE ANIMALS IS HERE!!!!!!!#i've had the idea for this project for over a year now.... so glad i was able to actually make it happen!! 🥹#this is my first time ever making a diorama like this so it's a little rough in some areas bUT the handmade nature is what i was aiming for #hAD TO DRAW EVERYONE'S HEIGHT DIFFERENCES. #pose taken directly from the kikuomiku4 album cover bc i’ve been listening to UFO on repeat for idk how many days now #finally gave me the inspiration i needed to do something like this it’s like both sad and super whimsical #actually tbh it gives me more wishful vibes now that i think about it but 1. idk what wishful looks like and 2. cashmere design my beloved #kikuo just in general has a lot of whimsysad and/or fundark which is why i love him #tbh ufo has quickly shot up to one of my fave songs it’s the iconic accordion and the tempo being unstable in places #uh anyway ignore me being a kikuo nerd again #wahhh this was fun to work on it has consumed me these past three days #jumping up and down hehehehehe #glad i finally cut to the ‘it’s done *collapses*’ stage of the arting process bc i’ve been having trouble finishing pieces lately #man i WISH i could come up with poses this good on my own. idc i’m still proud of this #my art #ok yeah i just got the time total. 12 hours #i knew it would be a long time but i didn’t think that long #tbh a lot of that was spent inefficiently bc i kept having to resize the image up when i realized the pixels were too crunchy #and when you make an image bigger the lines get blurry so then you have to redo them. yeah i had to do that TWICE. like a dummy.#12 hours used to be like par for the course for me but i’ve finally gotten faster. or maybe i’ve just stopped doing as many full figures #lol

one of my best friends is about to have a baby today........... so weird to be on the periphery of something so life changing. I want to go "life is going to change forever" as if it hasn't already

#I was thinking last night about how different we both are from the versions of us that were being young and active and busy and fit in pgh #before the pandemic and before her very targeted focused dating efforts yielded her the result she wanted (her now-husband)#[also I don't say that cattily lol she had the most coolheaded and down-to-business approach to dating bc she knew what she wanted.#and it worked!]#anyways I think back on that halcyon year of 2019 when we went to spin classes and spent every weekend doing something #or hanging out in her tiny mt. washington studio where we could watch downtown buzz at night #truly it was such a short period of time in retrospect. she convinced me to move here + then a year and a half later the whole world changed #and so too did we #I miss the her of those years (and I miss the me) but I'm making peace with not getting her back. it's cool to see her on this new journey #which she has worked so very hard for. like I cannot overstate the methodical and intentional way in which she has shaped her life to be #what she wants out of it. accounting for many bumps along the way that she's weathered admirably.#anyways within the next 48 hours she should be a mom. that's crazy #I feel weird when everyone around me is making lifechanging moves while I'm ''ho hum where should I go on vacation in the next 2 years'' lol #ay yai yai. strange to not want things other people want and being fine with that until you start losing touchpoints with your peers #then you're like. hang on now. what am I supposed to be doing right now

PSA: This is your periodic reminder that things in storage still need to be cleaned regularly.

#I had to use the glasses I had from 2013-2017 today #because I couldn't find my current pair and was already running super late to work #but I noticed that they seemed a bit fogged up so I used a cloth cleaner #and when I tell you that it snapped back to being just as cloudy in under 3 seconds #I spent literally half an hour getting them to a point where they would stay usable #and getting there involved so many cleaning supplies and full on snapping the nose guards (the source of the mysterious cloud) off entirely #so now they are sliding down my nose every five seconds instead #personal #text #nimfa speaks

TBH the best case scenarios in my mind for Fit's lore ending on Thursday are either:

Madagio has mercy. They know what it's like to lose everyone they love, and seeing what's happening on Quesadilla Island is just a reminder of everything they loved and lost. Madagio releases Fit, and he reunites with Pac e Mike and Richarlyson, and they're all able to leave Quesadilla Island.

Or:

Madagio and Fit destroy the Federation together. Fit goes full 2B2T mode and there's nothing left of the Federation once they're finished. Madagio and Fit finally have their revenge. (And then maybe Fit can reunite with Pac + all his loved ones and they escape the Island, or reclaim the island for their own since the Federation no longer has any power over them).

Bonus: A very unlikely but "Wouldn't it be fun?" scenario would be Pac and Mike flying down on a fully-grown dragon Richas and rescuing Fit from Vacuus Island and they fly away and live happily ever after.

I'm playing bg3 again and trying out the honor mode (which as it turns out, might be a bad idea if you never beat the game in general, much less beat it in tactician mode) and I have been confronted with the fact that I absolutely have dnd race favoritism and it absolutely is contributing to my need for many many bg3 saves because I constantly think "hmmm I want to try playing as a deep gnome to see if I get special dialog with Barcus Wroot, the Iron hands, and the underdark" before picking Drow for the 4th time.

#simon says #to be fair!!!#for my honor mode run I picked half-elf drow heritage because I liked the male face shapes more #and also because picking a Lolth Sworn drow for the 4th time would be a sign of a problem #if you want to know what option number 2 is for character creation is when I think 'i should pick something other than drow' it's halfling #i love halfling characters I love halflings I love the adorably sweet dialog options you get and I love how the game is in a new camera #like it's so fun talking to small characters and having them just look at you normally but having every large character look down at you #it makes every threat 100 times more threatening #someome threatens you and you're a big ol dark urge dragonborn? yeah okay bud. I got acid breath we'll see who wins here #someone threatens you and you're a fucking tiny little wild mage halfling who just spent the last hour telling Lae'zel to be cordial?#yeah I believe that threat. they could absolutely just pick me up and run off with me right now and the most I could do is accidentally fog #if you wanna know default number 3 if I dont wanna be a drow and halfling is just no cutting it?#dragonborn #in actual dnd I have never played them because there's so many other races I default to (like tiefling which is 4 in this list)#but in bg3 they're just SO fun to make and look so cool #it goes in order of special favorite little cultists > special favorite little combat avoiders > the most fun thing to make and play #and finally tiefling. i don't have much of an explanation besides the fact that tieflings are fun and I love their plot relevance in bg3 #but yeah dragonborn is absolutely the most fun to create in character creation and very fun to play #but I gotta choose my special little guys with nothing in common #do I pick a dark elf choosing to leave the cult of lolth to be good? a dark elf who is still Lolth's special little baby girl?#a dark elf with nothing to do with the underdark since their parent left who has lived a surface life and doesn't like cultist association #or do I pick a halfling who's here to be as cordial as possible and find the funniest ways to avoid combat #I was considering having a halfling for my honor mode because I thought romancing Halsin would be fun #but I decided a drow because avoiding the goblin combats without using the tadpole is a HUGE plus #and also because I had used the best halfling hairstyle on my other halfling and I didn't want to just make the same guy twice #anyways I still need to do like every other race and class soon so I can get the fun dialog #but here's the tough truth that funnie pony artist number 32 really loves Drow and Halflings so so so much
