God, a stupid ass thing that still bothers me is I hung out with an old friend when I was 20 - and I hadn't seen her in five years. And she laughed and said I was still the same I had always been.

And it's true! I'm still the same as I was at 12 and 15 and 19 and 25 and it's annoying and I cannot figure out how to be less - like that

it's really hard finding a song that fits yoohan imo

#the one im thinking of rn is hug by kanzaki iori #and even that strikes me as a hankim song too #but if i think hard enough i can make it about yoohan's grief and the act of sacrificing and being sacrificed for someone else #(specifically in the epilogue fight scene between the two of them where they're trying to process the pain)#that one part in the epilogue where hsy finds out she's the author of twsa and she's trying to force the words out but she can't (which is #ironic since she's a writer) and yjh stops her. he probably figured it out already. maybe it was his own consideration for her. or himself.#i think about that often #or that one scene where hsy wonders if it's okay to suggest regressing again to yjh. her own consideration.#or the whole epilogue fight by the museum. or that whole theme where yjh approaches hsy to die.#they both hurt each other but it's the kind of hurt that's like. invited? accepted? by the other person.#it's a kind of hurt that they can 'blame on the season'. that's them for me

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

when I was like 15, a drunk woman I didn’t know at a party who was smoking a cigarette on the porch started randomly opening up to me about her infertility journey and I told her how I was my parents rainbow baby after multiple miscarriages and fertility treatments said not to lose hope. she comforted me about being a strange kid without many friends my age (hence why I was at a party full of adults thrown by my uncle) and told me everything would work out eventually. the next time I saw her like 2 years later (small town, mutual friends) she was carrying her newborn. I think about that a lot. it’s easy to feel disconnected from people and but sometimes just talking to them and hearing their point of view and relating makes you feel less alone. even if you’re only each other’s company for a few moments.

i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.
