it was a very cute fic where Din and Luke were married the whole time, like because Luke found Din bleeding on the Tatooine desert and had to take off his helmet and to do so they got married before Din passed out and then they kinda have this long distance relationship, then they meet again on Gideon's ship and the go "Din??" "Luke??" lol; i really wanted to read it again, but i'm not fiding it

i tried to look through my ao3 history as well, but i still didn't find it. did it really got deleted or i'm just blind and not finding the fic? lol

edit: it was a really fluffy fic that was an oneshot that didn't belong to a series. i don't remember if it started with Luke rescuing Din and Grogu and then it went through flashbacks to show how they got married or if it started in the past and then showed us the present

i just remember that after they got married on Tatooine, they kept in touch via holocalls, Din sometimes went back to Tatooine to visit Luke, then when Luke's farm gets attacked he warns Din to not go back to Tatooine. then Luke loses his hand to Vader and Leia calls Din so Din goes there to comfort Luke and stuff, and then they had to part ways again and then finally they meet again with Luke rescuing them; and all this time Luke forgot to tell Din that he was a Jedi lol

but yeah, i'm starting to be sure this fic got deleted :/

The ONLY thing that I didn't like from tarlos scene is how they pulled the carlos is tks soulmate too out of nowhere and except us to eat that, as if season 1 tk and his infamous *Alex is my soulmate* even tho he was with carlos never existed. Good thing carlos didn't believe and called him out on it Idk, I'm just struggling to believe tk this time.

The rest is a 👩‍🍳💋. SO DELICIOUS!

Okay, one, the scene was delicious. And two you’re entitled to your opinion and your take of the scene. Please don’t think I am not allowing you.

But as you’ve walked into my house, and shared your take, I’m gonna share mine.

You don’t believe TK, but I do.

Here’s the thing TK calls Alex his soulmate in a sentence rooted in the past tense in 1.05 “116 days ago when I proposed to my soulmate and he moved in with his trainer.” It’s TK’s response to Paul when Paul suggests TK doesn’t know rejection. TK follows it up with “yeah that was not my best day. Look, everyone gets kicked in the head. You gotta get up and try again.”

In 4.16, TK suggests that he had a feeling the word soulmates applied to him and Carlos in 1.01 but that he ran from it. With the context above, I can see him giving Paul advice in 1.05 but also talking to himself (be it so noted that the episode still for 1.05 is still the deleted tamale scene and then he and Carlos take Paul out to a club and they’re clearly growing closer)

See, because the LAST TIME TK got this feeling of forever/meant to be/soulmates, that was his perception, but not the reality. It was the story TK, who is a hopeless romantic, told himself and why he proposed to “fix the relationship” (file under bad relationship modeling from his parents).

So if he feels soulmates for Carlos NOW, why trust it? And considering how his whole life blew up upon finding out that Alex didn’t feel forever about TK the way TK felt about Alex? Like he ODs, leaves his whole life and comes to Texas. Why would he risk doing that again when TK doesn’t trust his own heart?!

But the advice he gives Paul here is also for himself. You can’t just give up because you got hurt once. And maybe you can trust it. And it gets shaken after he gets shot but he is lost and doesn’t want to hurt Carlos and is honest with him about the fact that TK doesn’t know where he wants to live or what he wants to do and he can’t make decisions about Carlos if he doesn’t feel settled (where we get Carlos’s infamous “if it’s not meant to be then it’s not meant to be”)

See, I don’t think it’s ever that TK didn’t love Carlos entirely. TK wouldn’t have come back around every time he bolted if he didn’t feel deeply for Carlos. It’s that TK didn’t believe he could be loved fully and unconditionally by another person. It took Carlos being steady and patient and constant to tame my favorite feral cat of a boy.

And so, I believe TK felt it from those first moments and was so scared he would blow up his entire life again. So he bolted, breaking good things before he counted on them and they broke him out of nowhere.

I love all the possibilities of how they passed the time in the car so much. It would be so awkward at the start and I’m all here for it!! I imagine Talon carried most of the conversation from the beginning until after they really got to know each other. I feel like at the start Talon would just awkwardly try to tell her what has happened to the earth while she was gone in hopes of starting some conversation. I’m imagining the parking lot picnic with them just drinking slushees and eating whatever gas station food seemed good (I’m assuming everything is kind of run down?)

Car karaoke. Oh it would be amazing. Talon trying to find songs Megan likes and trying to get her to sing along, windows rolled down, it’d be such a vibe.

-I believe I could at least get the designs for those people sometime soon. They are just random people who decided to work for big bad (aka the voice, bc they only heard his voice through speakers at first). The voice decided he could make some good money abducting children and forcing them to be assassins so he did that. The government doesn’t know about them bc they hide in space. The few organizations trying to take them down are the only ones who really know about it

-talon has a few different tattoos, the one he got initiated with is a tattoo/ permanent burn so it has to stay covered to protect it, the other is just on his neck and he leaves that one in the open (I can point it out in the pics below)

idk if you'll know this fic but I got a new phone a little over a year ago and none of my tabs were saved so a bunch of stuff I was in the middle of was lost, including a fic that has, fittingly been driving me crazy as I try to find it. it's a time loop fic with lance being the only one going thru the loop amd I swear he repeated the day like 500 times or something, and he'd only wake up on that day again if he died - so the day is them trying to finish this mission and some funny weird tech thing went kaboom and started the whole thing. however! a few times lance got captured by the galra so he actually managed to last like months past that day, but then when he eventually died again he got thrown right back there even tho he'd moved on past it in time, if that makes sense? so it' not a fic where the day resets at midnight or anything. I can't remember a ton of details, but I think part of it was that hunk (or pidge?) went with him to extract the thing that blew up and started the mess but he could never make it work going in with pidge(?) I think, so it always had to be hunk. plus I think there were people from the coalition or the blades helping, like 2 squadrons? and there were some fatalities and lance was like well if I'm repeating this day I'm not gonna let that happened so he convinced them to change the plan so the squads weren't sent in but idr how. plus while he was captured he met Matt holt (idr if he knew it was Matt but I think he did?). I don't even know if the thing was finished, but it was pretty long. when I was first trying to remember it I thought it was ad infinitum or smt similar but apparently that's a DIFFERENT time loop fic. and then I thought it was re:do but that's also a different one. there are like 50 results for the time loop tag under voltron and 9 for groundhog day but none of them are right 😭 I've even tried searching thru my ao3 history and STILL can't find it so I'm a little worried it was deleted 😔 if you know anything, any help would be appreciated <3 I am so desperate

Yes, the aforementioned abandoned HP/Sherlock fic, but it's been ages. @punchedbymarkesmith and I have kicked around some collab ideas, which I think would both be a blast and also for a potentially niche audience. Maybe 2024 is the year this happens!

Steter is the one I've stuck with the longest, but I do have a few that I will always return to in the same way you might eat a comfort meal.

What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Look, I really, really want to finish It's Only Forever. I have like 1, maybe 2 chapters left. But it's been so long and I feel like my writing has changed, and idk. Every year I say I'm going to work on it, and every year I don't... le sigh.

What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm really good at finding a small moment in canon and then diverging from that. I also think I'm good at authentic dialogue and I think I'm pretty good at world building.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Action/fighting. Keeping things short unless it's a drabble/other restrictive format.

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I am not fluent enough in any language other than English to do this confidently. Instead, I would write something like:

Stiles cursed at them wildly in Polish.

Peter responded in French, then turned back to Stiles and resumed their conversation in English.

Gundam Wing. All of my old fic from *cough* 20+ years ago is lost to the annals of time (actually some is still on archived GW 1x2 sites if you look hard enough). And if you are one of like 7 people who remember my username, you can find my Newsies and Harry Potter fic (my next two fandoms) still on ffn. After I got out of a bad relationship that kept me from my own interests, including fandom, I returned with BBC Sherlock fic, which you can still find on AO3 if you scroll to the beginning of my profile.

Favorite fic you've written?

Gosh, I feel like this changes all the time, but I am particularly proud of At This Truth We Have Arrived. I loved exploring certain aspects of Peter's character, and doing a different take on Nogistune Stiles. I was also able to incorporate a lot of different themes and elements into it, as well as get my own closure with Monroe, something that has bugged me since the finale. Plus, I think I was able to accomplish a reveal that would add extra elements if anyone went back and re-read the story (even if I somewhat show my hand if anyone paid attention to the epigraph).

The PR strategies all weird cause whoever leaked a video of jk with woman in his house but few days later the guy came and told everyone bes got no gf? I mean he could leave it at that yet he cleared cause he was getting comments but heyy he didn't talk about video and we all know there's too many coincidences happening in that video to say he's not jk, that is him with his dog nd a woman in his apartment Period.

The RM one was Funny for me cause it was Clearly intentional there was no "accident" there. He posted because he wanted to, he deleted because people saw it and the job was done. I remember he also posted a pic where you can visibly see a cigarette 🚬 burn mark on his pant and armys caught it right away at that time so no one was surprised he smoked. Jk's cigarette scene wasn't surprising for me but armys are stupid to think it was invasion of privacy i mean to a point it was but he also knew what he was doing. They could have done more with dating rumours like click a pic of him where it's only him and the woman in the frame if they actually wanted to make a pr stunt with that rather than whatever they did. That is only if it was pr stunt otherwise we don't condemn any privacy breach. Always hoping it's the members that reveal their partners on their own than all this drama.

About the jk doing lives after live and singing all of jimin's new releases that was something else.....i wasn't surprised that he used to sing jm's songs but it was unexpected given "jikook" were no where to be seen, but the first live that he did and watched all of jimin's content was actually surprising for me. Idk what anyone else belives tho but from whatever i have seen over the years one thing i belive is jungkook loves jimin as an artist. He admires jm alot. You ask him about other members' songs he might not know it but if you ask him about jimin's songs he'll know all of it with lyrics and choreo at good level. He always watch jm when jm is rehearsing like he's always there sitting infront of jm watching him when he's performing. I mean who wouldn't that's jimin who's performing. But of course this mfkr will never admit that like he'll do for RM. I was actually expecting him to be more vocal for taehyung's album too but he was inactive a whole month when tae's album Dropped and i even saw tkkrs throwing tantrums that he never supported tae the way he did for jm etc. I mean technically tkkrs would help him for so you'd expect more for jk also given they were together the whole yr. But even when Taennie paris video came he went live few days later and was simply enjoying his lives it was when Angel pt1 was released and he was singing it, doing tiktok choreo for his betsies' songs and all. Tkkrs were disappointed then too but they always find a reason to cope so they did. He Infact that way actually showed more support towards jm than other members During his drunk live era lol. As you said it could be that he wanted fruits from both ships but then Shippers are either way going to support him, infact tkkrs needed more as tae's paris video was circulating. But we don't like it when others say jk was promoting jm cause we all know it's armys watching his lives so I'm hesitating to belive he did that for support from Shippers.

At the end i would say if jm ever does such dating rumours pr he can simply drop the hd pics and we'll be happy. He either way doens't have too many crazy y/n like the other two, and we'll get rid of shippers too. Imma throw those pics on Shippers' faces.

Joon doing what he did honestly felt like he wanted to join in on the other member’s revealing they smoked cause he felt left out, but atp it was no longer a novelty. (for BTS)

Jk’s relationship with Jimin is difficult to decipher because it’s no doubt they’re on good terms with each other and I do agree with him holding some type of admiration for him but it’s not really akin to how he is with hobi or joon. I’d always dread when he’d go live because I knew there was always a chance he’d mention jimin in someway and that would be all it took for jimin’s report page to start posting R&Bs like rapid fire. And it’s crazy because he would be the one initiating it but jimin would still get hated on.

TH doing all that cheerleading for JK, going to his live show just for him to ghost him for his debut was 🥴 but nowadays I’ve felt like their relationship is symbiotic on that end. Like they know when to dial it up with each other to get what they want for themselves so probably didn’t mean anything to him that he didn’t.

If Jimin wants to reveal his S/O down the line he will. He’s very private so I doubt he’d make it a spectacle. Unless he gets married then there’s no way that’s not getting publicized in some way.

draculara has her red drinks and her spf and her cute little parasol so OF COURSE kaidou has all of those as well. i think it would be very funny if kaidou had his umbrella customized to look like a hidden anime weapon, but it wasn't waterproof so he has to use a different one when it rains

bc im rewriting this im not gonna go thru my thought process so my idea was that takeuchi was a mad scientist who created midori after himself bc he only had access to a mirror (neither realized they looked the same). takeuchi died and chouno, who was smitten with midori, remade takeuchi who midori named riki and chose to raise as her own. chouno intended it as a poetic final goodbye but cut to 16 years later and hes still not over her lol

okay i need to preface this with something that is very important to me about this, the Japanese creature the jikininki/shoku-jinki originated in the story of musou the preist. as far as ive been able to see, there is a second story featured on wikipedia about a pregnant woman that is legitimately someone's fucking oc insert. im not making this up, it appeared one goddamn day and i dont want to make an acc just to get rid of it but i dont want to have my ip address just There and i dont know how to like draw attention to it. so please know that the story of musou is the only legitimate source of the jikininki and the "jijinki" are just someones fucking oc inserts. i dont know why they did this, i dont know how it's still there bc its been YEARS how has no one removed it??

You two first met when knockout switched over to the Autobots during the war. Everyone was wary of him and practically didn't want anything to do with him or from him. You were like that too when you first arrived at the Autobots base. No one wanted to talk with you and sometimes forgot about and walked or biked places that you needed to go that would require them.

Of course, when knockout came along, you two fit along and you became more social as time went on. When the others couldn't find you, they would find you with knockout and his station in the base. He would help ratchet with his tools and small things that would be counted as chores for the others

of course he did bring you with his races knowing that he would get punished but made sure to stop doing it so you and him could spend more time together. The other kids and bots would notice and urge you to stop hanging around but you would always tell them that you had to help knockout to get yourself from being bored which was half true but mostly used as an excuse.

Other than racing, one of his favorite things to do with you was listening to music as he worked or just on a late night drive to get away from all the bots nagging and gagging. you and him had similar music taste so it was easy to get along.

The kids thought it was weird that you like to hang out that was considered bad now 'good'. honestly, they did try their best to start talking to you more often but you just kept talking with knockout and felt guilty that they didn't talk to you as much as they should have.

Knockout did help you with your cuts and all that through the help of you teaching him about the human body. You would get in fights a lot at school so having your own doctor that was also your friend was nice. he would also help you with math you couldn't understand or you were gone for.

as much as it sounded weird to the others at the base he did help you more than the teachers would as cybetronions and normal math are similar. he would also do random trivia questions with you so you could learn better and would switch up the questions.

it was finally the final day of school. you and him studied for the finals and lost some sleep but not much for it. You saw him parked car waiting for you as the bell rang. You opened the shiny red door and got in. "so final day huh?" Knockout joked. "I guess so... it's a bit hard to get through my head that next year will be my last year" You chuckled as you strapped yourself in.

i'll be honest, there isn't a lot of cases where that happened? almost, if not all, of my fics tended to stay on the path i meant for them to go upon - although it may also have to do with the fact that i don't tend to plan that tediously out anyways hahaha

i think if i had to choose a fic, i would go with a thousand and one lifetimes. it was just meant to be only a few words each section, but then each section kept growing. and growing. and growing. and--

yeah, ig it can't be helped tho. i really, really love the platonic (and potential platonic!) relationships Aang could have with the rest of the cast in ATLA, not to mention that AUs are my bread and butter and i love love LOVE exploring established dynamics in a newfound setting.

🫦what is your biggest regret in one of your fics whether it be something you wish you didn't do, or you wish you did do?

i think one of the things i regret was writing bleeding out (with you to carry me home) in general, mostly because it just... it feels like gratituitous angst. it doesn't really have much of a purpose, other than to produce some kind of angst. maybe it was a fix i needed when i was writing it in the moment, but now, looking back... i just don't think it serves much more of a purpose beyond that.

with that being said, a specific regret i have is writing the platonic zukaang section in there. not because i don't like it or i don't want it there, it's that i feel that it's one of the only redeeming qualities of this fic. it's a pretty nice jewel of writing, and i think it deserves to be in a more... thought-provoking fic, ig? idk.

maybe i'm just being overly harsh to my past self, the same way most of us are to our past writing skills. it's not like i'm gonna delete the fic or anything either, i guess it's just me wondering what could've been.

hands down The Dishonored Blade. it was an incredibly niche fic that was written just for me, and considering it combined ATLA and League of Legends, i'm still surprised i got the amount of kudos i did.

i think a part of it could have been it was written and published during 2021, when the ATLA fandom craze was still happening and thus a lot of people from both fandoms were present at the time. especially when compared to its sequel The Darkened Path (which was written in 2023), i feel like i would have to attribute most of my kudos to the fandom craze.

either way, i'm still pleasantly surprised at the kudos count and even fans who commented on this piece! there was even a reader who was knowledgable about the League of Legends lore and asked to see a more fleshed out universe of this form. it really warms my heart knowing that even the most niche of fics will find its place somewhere... even if it's not where we initially thought.

One time I did a "Best Nightwish albums" list and today I started thinking I might as well do a best musicals list 😭 Not all of these shows are good but I like them a whole lot!!! (Scroll to the bottom to see a thing where I Tagged People)

1. Tanz der Vampire (1997 original & Hamburg 2005)

I had a hard time picking an Ultimate Fave but I do think TdV takes the cake. It's not every day a show makes you learn a new language and has you basically uproot your life to go live nearer where it's shown xD Soooo good. I keep finding new things to like about it as the years go on, and while it has Faults, Carpe Noctem alone is probably one of the best musical numbers ever made. It's so well crafted in terms of music, lyrics, stage design and choreography!!

2. Elisabeth (many prods)

Depression but it's gay,,,,,,,

3. Wicked

Noooo babe don't drown in despair and self hatred after you got all you ever wanted in a way that Went Horribly Wrong you're too sexy aha besides you have a bubble to go around in!!!

4. POTO

I'm just here for the setting (soooooo into it and even more so after I read the book many many years ago) and Carlotta. And the movie does setting really well, it's so lush. I've been to the actual Palais Garnier and desperately want to go again

5. Les Mis

Had a hard time placing 5 and 6 but I think LM has more bops so it goes here. Idk if I will ever get around to the book lmaoo maybe I can look up the gay bits on tumblr

6. Cabaret

Continuously insane abt this show actually, and I think more so after I read the book

7. The Dolls of New Albion

!!!! It's so flawed but the music is great and the premise is super interesting and rare. The sequels are dead (hehe) to me tho because they ruin the mystery and wonder of the worldbuilding xD

8. Rocky Horror (Picture) Show

Really like the songs!! And the aesthetic lmao

9. The Producers

😭😭 I have no excuse I just really really like the songs and I think the humor works for me as well

Honorable mentions and old faves: Chicago, HoND, Evita, LOTR, J&H, 35MM (I listened to this a lot at one point even tho I don't think it's that deep as a show ajsksk), Six, Hamilton, Be More Chill, Beetlejuice (there's a deleted demo song I'm obsessed with and the music is really catchy)

Also lol I got this far before mentioning Rebecca and Mozart 💀💀💀💀💀 I like both a lot (more than, say, J&H and HoND, but less than Les Mis or Cabaret) but they're not Ultimate Faves, at least not right now. Some of the songs I'm completely obsessed with though (Mozart, Mozart! and Wie kann es möglich sein mostly)

I wanted to read some em fics from an Anon author on ao3 but it seems like the series in which they were listed got deleted, I can't find it anymore 😭😭 I only have the link of one of their works which is this https://archiveofourown.org/works/38879136 and since I saw u on their comment section I thought you have got an idea where I can find it (or straight up tell me they got deleted so I can have my closure lol🥲) It was a series of one shots with different versions of em, the one I remember the most is this one where Eren is kind of a loser that takes advantage of Mikasa's money and whenever she tries to break up with him he always manages to fuck her into staying together lol I think there is another one where Eren is a delinquent that robbed Armin's car and kidnapped him and Mikasa is a corrupt police officer that pulls him over, they end up fucking right in front of him but I'm not sure tbh lol Hope this info helps!

So, I randomly remembered about TFM Yoongi, and super super got the itch to re-read it again. I knew it was on hiatus (literally a few days after I first read it 🥲), but I had it saved on my ✨secret bts fanfiction side-blog✨and on ao3. Couldn't find it. Panicked.

Quickly skimmed through your masterlist and wips - no signs of life. Maybe yoongles took it with him to the army for some late night reading? I considered sending you an ask, but then I was like - No, poor babygirl author probably gets a bunch of these, I'd much rather go through their posts, than to be yet another "WhEre iS tHe fiC" random stranger.

So I did. Did I find any additional info on it? Why is it gone? No. We love tumblr's search function 👍 It's fine, I'm emo anyways, grief is my companion (joking - you do do. It was fire though, I miss it dearly. Jimin was so sassy "Miss Thang" omg. Also poc rep ?? Yes).

you are correct, TFM is gone 😭 i deleted it from tumblr and AO3 because i was unhappy with my writing and where the story was going. i was excited for it, and then everything kinda fell apart. I'm sorry!! a lot of people got mad at me for that LMFAO, but i really grew to hate that series, and i figured it would be better to just delete it. i didn't delete the actual fic tho. like i have all my writing saved. i've considered rewriting it to be yoonmin instead of a reader-insert cuz i lowkey hate writing reader-inserts but i still do it for my tumblr followers hjsdfks but that is TBD

i'm glad you enjoyed it tho!! i think i got in my head over it idk. i love the idea and the characters (and FUCK YES diamond was my favorite character. we need queer poc representation in fics~ one thing about me is i'm gonna always give it if i can in a fic 😤) but yeah ! ANYWAY

Have you ever read "Cyberchase Web Adventures"? That was the series of five official web comics that released on the pbskids website back in the day. They aren't on the site anymore. However, they are on WayBack Machine, and people have assembled them in full for Internet Archive and Flashpoint Archive uploads. Episode 1-3, "How It All Started", was a prequel to the show. Episode 4, "Numberless Poddles" was an original Poddleville story. Episode 5, "Hacker Jack" was an original Tikiville story.

I gave them a revisit, lmao, so much of it is broken, but it was still fun to read. I find it interesting how it contradicts "Lost My Marbles" when it comes to Digit. Personally I prefer the idea of him being fully bad, lmao, which we got a sneak peek of I think in All The Right Angles. The one with Ivanka. It's also where I got the idea of Jackie being a cheerleader and Matt being most into baseball.

But yes! I agree, you're right 4 and 5 are. You can even see they used some screenshots as backgrounds/characters even. It feels like when they release a video game alongside a movie, and you can tell they had only a vague idea of what the plot was and some access to official assets.

Also it's funny in Numberless Poddles, they say they only took their numbers but Buzz and Delete are standing around with a bunch of eggs. It's also either very broken or very zany. Suddenly the kids put giant HBD hats on the Hacker team xD

Oh my goodness, I forgot 5 was a comic. The style is so fun honestly. Idk if I can read it all, there's something about a form. xD I couldn't find the flashpoint or archive you mentioned, so I used Wayback
