i thought the posally scene was honestly pretty well done but it blows my mind that poseidon would show up out of the blue at a restaurant because sally put a lit match in an ice cream that wasnt even hers 😭 i said this to another blog but i think the scene happening at montauk on a trip when percy was younger wouldve been better imo

the posally portion of the diner scene was well done and toby stephens does a phenomenal job of encapsulating poseidon's deep longing and ultimate resignation; it's just percy/sally dynamic is the part i take issue with. sally would never just walk away when her son asks her why she doesn't want him around. her first instinct in the books would be to hug and console and reassure him even if it's tearing her apart on the inside. and yeah it would make a lot more sense to have happened at montauk since the show used that as the grounding point for the series—it's where the journey began and culminated and ended!

Thank you to everyone who followed me on here! As I mentioned, I will give it a week and if Tumblr doesn't fix my issues with my main blog by then, I will move my stuff in a new account. Until then, I will use the main blog to dump musings stuff while here will be solely for writing.
