Author’s Note: IM BACK LOVELIES!!!! Ahhhh so a little update, I am back to uni again, a quarter of my family moved away, I was in a relationship, that ended, and more that’s not coming to mind right now. I don’t know how often I’m gonna be writing, I want to do more but the reality is I don’t have as much time as before. Also I took major steps back from K-pop, I think there was just too much going on in the community that I couldn’t keep up with it anymore. Anyway, hugs and kisses to anyone reading <3
——————————————————
Formula One (also known as Formula 1 or F1) is the highest class of international racing for open-wheel single-seater formula racing cars sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The World Drivers' Championship, which became the FIA Formula One World Championship in 1981, has been one of the premier forms of racing around the world since its inaugural season in 1950. The word formula in the name refers to the set of rules to which all participants' cars must conform. A Formula One season consists of a series of races, known as Grands Prix, which take place worldwide on both purpose-built circuits and closed public roads.
This is your first season with NCT, but your 4th season in Formula 1, as a race engineer for the infamous Lee Jeno. Jeno had entered the sport when he was just 18, racing for Alfa Romeo, however now he was with a team that matched his talent. He was in a competitive car this season. As exciting as it was for Jeno, it was exciting for you too.
You had known Jeno since before his days at Alfa Romeo. You had been his race engineer since formula 4, when you were assigned to Jeno for a race, by mistake. Jeno went on to win his first f4 race with you as the person talking him through it. Since then you had been his race engineer for every race he entered in. And you watched Jeno dominate in formula 3, and formula 2 before entering into formula 1. And even in a non competitive care, he continued to outperform expectations.
You were gonna stay by his side, and watch him stand on the top of the podium as champion of the world, talking him through the entire time.
However, your heart might have other plans for you.
-
“That’s P4, Jen, P4.”
“Fuck, that was a good lap,” you could hear Jeno chuckle on the other side.
“Race like that tomorrow, and you’ll be on the podium,”
“We’ll be on the podium,” Jeno corrected you, “I can’t do this without you.”
“I’ll meet you in the garage.”
You took off the headset, and took a sigh of relief. No matter how many free practices, qualifying sessions or races you talked Jeno through, you never liked it. You don’t remember when you started to feel anxious about seeing Jeno in the car, but you knew you couldn’t sit still until he was out of it.
You took note of where everyone was on the grid, Jeno didn’t care if the information pertained to him or not, he wanted to know it. You met Jeno by the car to be right where he got out.
“P4,” you said with the biggest smile you could manage for Jeno, P4 was well above anyone’s expectations for qualifying. Since this was Jeno’s first season with NCT, he was expected to qualify P7, P8. Although you're not too surprised about P4, Jeno had a habit of making his talents known.
“P4 today, P1 tomorrow,” Jeno said with a smile, as the two of you began to walk to his dressing room.
“Don’t get too ahead of yourself, Leclerc is still on pole. Verstappen is P2, Sainz P3, Na P5, Perez P6, Hamilton P7, Bottas is P8,”
“Bottas?” Jeno questioned cutting you off, “in the Alfa Romeo?”
“The Ferrari is fast, and Alfa Romeo is a Ferrari engine.”
“Who rounds out the top ten?”
“Maggunsen at P9, and Alonso at P10.”
Jeno sat in the chair, leaning back, his head tilted up, looking at you. “You know, I’m so lucky to have you?”
“Oh yeah? Why don’t you appreciate me more then?” You asked, not being serious at all, just teasing Jeno.
“I do,” Jeno stood up now, coming close to you, “I am forever grateful to you.”
Seven years, you have known Jeno for seven years now, almost going on eight. Jeno has been with you through getting your GED, all through college, three boyfriends, getting your first place and more. He is your longest standing relationship, that it makes you question just how platonic everything is.
“Go already (y/n), I’ll look at your notes, and we’ll go over it tomorrow.” Jeno said, stepping away, grabbing the tablet with your notes. “I’m serious, go.”
You let out the breath you were holding, “alright,” you gathered your things before exiting, turning back one last time for the night, “call me if you have any questions, I’m serious, you know I’m a night owl.”
“I will,” Jeno smiled back to you.
-
You laid in your hotel room, scrolling through the usual social media, when a very curious caption caught your eye. It was a quote taken from a post qualifying interview from today.
“I think Sunday is more important than Saturday… We’ll just have to wait until tomorrow to form any opinions.” Quote from Na Jaemin, about today’s qualifying.
You clicked the link to read the article about that particular interview. To which, Jaemin had subtly stated that Jeno out qualifying him was a complete luck, and that tomorrow would show who is the better driver overall.
Your first thought was to call Jeno and tell him the ridiculous lies that Jaemin was spewing out, but knowing teddy bear Jeno, he would tell you to just let it go. That his racing will speak for him, that what Jaemin said is nothing but words.
So without Jeno having to tell you, you did exactly that, you let it go, for now.
-
Sunday, race day. You were excited to say the least, you met Jeno in the hotel before going down to the paddock.
“You’re starting P4, Sainz is ahead of you,” you remind Jeno, “It’s gonna be difficult getting through Leclerc and Verstappen, so your main competition is going to be Sainz.”
“Are you saying that the best I can do is P3?” Jeno asked with just enough of a glint in his eye for most people to assume he was teasing, but not enough to convince you that he wasn’t serious.
“You can win it today, but it’s more important that you cross the finish line than winning,” you say. Jeno still looks a little in between, not fully convinced, you stop him before walking into the NCT motorhome. “You’re gonna do great, you’re gonna show everyone your worth of your seat, and you’re gonna come home safely,” you take a breath, “and maybe you can win on top of all that?” You smiled.
“Yeah I think I can win on top of all of that,” Jeno smiled once again. He always tended to be an overthinker. Always in his own head about things, allowing other people's opinions to fester inside of him, he never could pull himself out of his own thoughts. You would always do that for him.
-
All the cars lined up after the formation lap, you sat in front of your screen with the other race engineers.
“P4 and P5, the goal is to maintain positions.” Taeyong announced to the entire crew. NCT finished in 4th in the Championship last season, just behind Ferrari, ahead of Mclaren. Taeyong’s goal for this season was 3rd or better. In the practice sessions of this weekend, the car was on par with the Redbull but behind the Ferrari, so 3rd should be achievable. If all was to go well.
“Radio check, 1, 2. Can you hear me Jen?”
“Loud and clear,” Jeno responded back clear as day.
‘And its lights out and away we go.’
-
“We’re gonna box this lap, box.” You spoke into the mic, telling Jeno what to do.
“Did you just tell Lee to box?” Mark, another race engineer asked, in a panicky manner.
“Yeah, that was the strategy we all agreed on,” you answered back, worry starting to fill you.
“Na was supposed to be first then Lee,” Mark looked even more panicked than earlier.
“We’re double stacking?” You questioned as you turned your attention out to the pit lane, where the crew waits with two sets of medium tyres.
You watched, holding your breath as Jeno pulled into the slot, his tyres removed, a new set screwed on, and he was released just as Jaemin came up to the garage. You let out your breath, as the double stacking worked.
“2.2,” shouted one of the crew, to let everyone know Jeno’s pit stop was 2.2 seconds, “2.3” and Jaemin’s was 2.3 seconds. You and Mark high fives over a successful double stacking.
Just before Taeyong shouted out, “what the fuck was that?” You and Mark turned back to look at Taeyong, both of your guys face going pale. “That wasn’t the strategy.”
“Yeah but it worked.” Mark smiled.
“If you keep fucking up, you minus well work at Ferrari.”
“Come on boss, it’s only Bahrain, cut us a little slack,” you smiled sweetly at Taeyong. You had heard more than once, from more than one person that Taeyong was a bit uptight during the race, and that he’s much more reasonable after a race.
-
“That’s the checked flag, Jen, P3! P3!” You shouted into the mic for Jeno to hear.
“LETS GO,” Jeno shouted out loud into the radio, “fuck that felt good, I can’t wait to see you.”
“I’ll be waiting at the bottom of the podium for you,” you spoke into the mic once again. Your heart twisting just a bit knowing that your words were heavy with feelings. Funny thing, Jeno is actually the reason your last relationship didn’t work out. Although you refused to tell Jeno that. Your previous partner thought that you and Jeno were too close, that you guys were always more than just friends.
When Jeno asked why your partner ended it, you just said that it was because of conflicting schedules. It would crush Jeno to know that it was him, no matter how many times you would try to convince him that it was for the best. He would just believe that he was standing in the way of your chance to be happy.
-
You looked up at the podium watching Jeno spray the champagne, you could feel the light droplets of the liquid, tap down on your face. Jeno shook hands with Charles and Carlos, before taking a picture together. You felt this sudden heat radiating next to you, you turned to see Jaemin standing next to you. He must’ve just arrived after his weigh in. He looked very handsome, handsomely angry standing next to you, watching his competition standing on the podium. And vaguely, just a hint of emotion behind the anger was admiration.
You turned back to watch Jeno enjoy the podium, before saying “have you formed any opinions, Na?” You side eyed Jaemin. You watched him huff, before turning to walk back to the garage.
-
“1, 2, 3, say cheese,”
You smiled brightly turning to look at Jeno, when the flash went off, he remained staring straight. Trophy in one hand, the other one wrapped around you.
“Okay, good.” The photographer announced.
Jeno looked back at you, finally, his eyes curved like little moons. “What a good race,” Jeno’s smile never leaves his face. Jaemin came around to the two of you.
“Congratulations, Lee,” Jaemin stuck out his hand for Jeno to shake, “good race.”
“Thanks Jaemin,” Jeno took Jaemin’s hand in a firm grasp. The two come together for a hug, before both parting their own ways. You stopped yourself from rolling your eyes, because at the end of the day, whatever rivalry that goes on between Jeno and Jaemin. It stays on the track, the minute they step out of the car, they are colleagues, co-workers. It was like that for all the drivers, rivals on the track, friends off the track.
As soon as you made it back to the hotel, you started packing up all your belongings. You flew out to Saudi first thing in the morning, and you had meetings all day Monday.
-
The time in between races went by faster than you wished. Before you knew it, it was Friday again and Jeno was getting ready for free practice 1.
“Based on last week, the car should have the straight line speed, in the turns that’s all you,” you said to Jeno as he got strapped in his seat, before you went back to the pit wall.
“I got it,” Jeno smiled, as he put on his gloves.
“Safe release yeah?” You said to one of Jeno’s mechanics. You watched as Jeno drove out, down the pit lane, onto the race track. He started off with an outlap, just getting the car right. Just before he got to the line, “remember talk to me Jen,” you reminded. Jeno did have a habit of getting too much into the groove, and forgetting to relay conditions.
“Yes ma’am,” you heard Jeno chuckle. He started his lap, absolutely flying through the circuit.
-
“He’s too wide into turn 4,” Doyoung, one of the race strategists, said as the both of you watched Jeno on the monitor.
“Keep it tight into turn 4 Jen,” you spoke over the radio, trying to remind Jeno gently.
“I’m trying, but I’m loosing the rear too much,” Jeno was clearly frustrated.
“We should end the session early for him,” you said to Doyoung, not wanting to risk further damage to the car.
“He needs to run more laps, we don’t have enough data for the race yet,” Doyoung said, as he reviewed the screens, “have him pit for a break, but send him back out before free practice ends.”
“Yes,” you obliged, “Jen, box box.”
-
“The car has too much oversteer,” Jeno said, clearly frustrated about free practice. He couldn’t find his pace in the car, not nearly as much as he wanted to. “I like a little more oversteer too, but that was just insane.”
You sat in the debriefing room with all the race engineers and strategist, as well as Jeno, Jaemin and Taeyong. “I have to agree with Jeno on this,” Jaemin said as he leaned back into his chair. You looked at him for a good moment, thinking that he was actually very handsome, but only when he wasn’t talking. “The oversteer is insane, the steering wheel is pointless,” Jaemin said, and just like that he wasn’t handsome to you anymore.
“We can adjust that, but it’s gonna take time to find the right balance, for the both of you,” Johnny, the chief technical engineer, who designed the car, said, “it won’t be done by the next race.”
“It could also be the track, I wouldn’t do any drastic changes yet,” Jeno spoke, trying to considerate of everyone else, “last weekend the car felt good, we were on pace with the Mercedes.”
“Jaemin?” Taeyong asked, looking at his other driver now.
“No, I agree, if there’s still an oversteer problem by free practice 3 than maybe we need to make an adjustment, but right now is too early,” Jaemin looked around the table, making his opinion heard, “we’re just being honest with what we feel in the car.” Jaemin gestured to himself and Jeno.
“Good,” Taeyong said, “y/n, mark, you have the code list, go over it with your drivers, this is gonna be the list until Spain. Other than that, you guys are dismissed.”
Everyone began to gather their things, and leave, “oh Jaemin,” Taeyong spoke up before you and Jeno had left the room, “go see Ten, he wants to go over some PR stuff with you.”
You could hear Jaemin scoff, but you just smirked to yourself. That’s what he gets for making comments about your driver.
-
“P6 Jen,” you said as Jeno crossed the finish line for qualifying.
“Not bad team, let’s get them tomorrow,” Jeno said as he made his way into the pit lane. You met Jeno in the garage, after getting the car settled in it’s spot. After Jeno got out of the car, “where did Jaemin qualifie?”
“Jaemin was knocked out in Q2, he’s P12 for tomorrow.”
“Who’s ahead of me?”
“Ocon, ahead of him Verstappen,”
“Behind me?”
“Russell and then Alonso” you said.
“Ocon shouldn’t be a problem, but Max is something else,” Jeno said, thinking about the overtakes for tomorrow. “Russell and Alonso behind me isn’t great either though.”
“It’s gonna be a difficult one for sure, but you’ll get it done.”
-
“That’s P8 Jen,” you said as Jeno crossed the finish line at the end of the race.
“I’m sorry team, could’ve done better,” Jeno said, clearly upset about those last few laps.
“Jeno, this is Taeyong, that was a good race,” Taeyong spoke quickly, “you did good Jeno, proud of you man.”
“Thanks team, we’ll bring it next time.” You could hear Jeno chuckle just a little this time. “Y/n, where did Na finish?”
“P12, just outside the points,” you answered. “I’ll see you in garage Jen.”
After Jeno finished his weigh in and he finally met you in the garage, did you properly congratulate him for a truly spectacular race. “I finished lower than what I started,” Jeno sighed.
“You did good, and you raced hard, that’s what’s important.” You answered, “not to mention you also came home safely and you finished within the points.”
“I guess,” Jeno said in between sips of water, clearly exhausted from the race. At this time you could see Jaemin walking towards the both of you.
Jaemin came up on Jeno’s side, sticking out his hand, “good race Lee,” Jaemin said with a firm shake and a pat on the back.
“You too Na,” Jeno answered kindly. You couldn’t help but scoff just a bit. Jaemin side-eyed you a bit before walking away without another word. “Play nicely y/n,” Jeno said, giving you a look, after Jaemin had walked a bit away.
“I always do,” you smirked, before turning on your heels to make it back towards the hospitality room.
“Yeah right,” Jeno said loud enough for you to hear, before following after you.
-
In the media pen, Jaemin was making his rounds for the post-race interviews.
“Jaemin, thoughts after the race?” One lady asked.
“Um it was a difficult one,” Jaemin answered, wiping the sweat away from his face with the back of his arm. You just happened to be in the area, Jeno was also making his rounds, and you were waiting for him. “I obviously didn’t qualify in the best place, and we lost places early on in the race, so it definitely wasn’t one of my better performances.”
You were close enough to hear Jaemin, as well as the following question, “this is the second race in a row that your teammate has outperformed you, do you think there’s gonna be some added pressure now? Maybe a little more determination to do better?”
You couldn’t, for the life of you, understand why reporters would ask those type of questions. Questions that attempt to provoke a reaction. Questions that fueled fake rivalries. You knew the drivers hated being asked those types of questions. However, nonetheless you stayed close enough to hear Jaemin’s answer.
Jaemin chuckled before responding, “I mean of course there’s added pressure when you’re not performing at the same level that you were the previous season, but that’s not Jeno’s fault. And of course there’s determination to do better, but that’s regardless of how Jeno is doing, because I know I’m not doing as good as I did last season.”
You were thoroughly surprised at Jaemin’s answer. You didn’t expect Jaemin to give a very clean answer, you genuinely thought that he wouldn’ve hinted at his poor performance being Jeno’s fault, but truly he didn’t.
“I see, thank you for your time Jaemin,” the reporter smiled.
“Thank you,” Jaemin smiled at the reporter, and for half a second you blushed at his smile. He looked very handsome, post-race, race suit tied around his waist, hair slightly out of place, sweat dripping down the side of his forehead, pearly whites flashing with a bad boy smile.
“Are you drooling at my driver?” Mark, Jaemin’s race engineer, asked catching you in a moment of weakness.
“There’s many drivers in that media pen, I could be drooling at any number of them,” you scoffed at Mark’s accusations.
-
Just as you were packing up your stuff for the night, getting ready to head back to the hotel, you could hear someone talking. You peaked around the corner to see who it was. It was Jaemin, he was on the phone.
“I know…I know…” Jaemin sounded frustrated with whomever he was talking to. You didn’t want to eavesdrop, but it’s not your fault if the person is talking loud enough for you to hear. “It’s only the second race of the season,” Jaemin sighed.
You peaked around the corner again, to see Jaemin running his hand through his hair. You took notice of his grip on the phone against his ear, get tighter. “I didn’t call to be scolded by you Dad, I called to check in on mom,” Jaemin said finally, his tone sent chills down your spine.
That was your que to leave, you turned to go in the other direction, you slipped on a pair of earbuds pretending not to be able to hear anything. Thankfully just in time, Jaemin ended up pacing, and walking around the corner in your direction. By the time Jaemin saw you, you had your poker face ready, and your music playing. Jaemin took notice of the earbuds you were wearing, already drawing the conclusion that you didn’t hear him. He walked back to where he came from, while you walked in the opposite direction.
You officially called it a night after that, heading straight for the hotel. You figured you would just completely forget you heard anything.

Looking through the closet Y/N really didn’t know what she should put on for the day that was comfortable but at the same time would look good. Usually she wouldn’t really care about looks and fashion if she wanted to dress comfy, but knowing how many cameras and photographers will be there during the day, she felt like it was a must this time. All the fans looked at those photos before or after the races, her being one of them as on several occasions those were the only way for her to see Mick other than during their FaceTime calls. However, this time she would be on them too, and even though she promised herself it wouldn’t matter, in the end it wasn’t that easy to get over. She did care about what the fans will think about her, although less than what Mick’s crew members and team members will. That was probably the most nerve wracking part of the weekend. Y/N already met some of them as she attended the first practice session on friday, but staying in the background and not even entering the garage meant she stayed a stranger to them until today.
“ You can take something from mine if you would like. ” She heard from behind him and turning her head towards the voice she could see Mick getting ready just a few meters away from her. “ I have some team stuff too, if you need anything. ” He added, pointing at the suitcase that was still half full with black-red Haas branded shirts and sweaters. Y/N’s anxiety was quite visible on her face, and he knew wearing his shirts sometimes helped calm her down somehow.
“ Maybe. I don’t know… ” Y/N let out a sigh, debating if her wearing his things would bring positive or negative feedback. In the end she just took one of her favourite shirts of his, pushing every thought back as she pulled the material over her head, tucking it into her jeans a little. When she stepped out of the closet Mick was ready too, sitting on the bed and waiting for her. “ Ready! ” She added when he looked up at her and with a nod got up from the bed.
As it was a home GP for Mick they were able to stay in his home rather than a hotel room and start the day from there. It wasn’t a long drive from the apartment to the circuit, giving Y/N just around 20 minutes to prepare herself mentally for the day. Luckily it wasn’t her driving and she could just watch the trees and houses go by as they passed them on the way. She knew everything felt strange because it was just her first time attending a race, and that hopefully if there was going to be a next time, it would be a bit calmer. She didn’t know how people will act towards her, but after getting through the first meetings it will be easier to be around them. It was usually just the first impressions that made her so anxious.
“ They’re going to love you, don’t worry about it. ” They were just turning off the road towards the private parking lot of the circuit when Y/N started bouncing her knee a little bit and Mick could see it from the corner of his eye. “ I would be really surprised if there would be anyone who doesn’t like you by the end of the day. ” He chuckled, looking to his right when the car was parked and with one last squeeze to her hand, they both got out of the vehicle.
‘ Just don’t jinx it. ’ Y/N let out a sigh, taking her backpack out before stepping right next to Mick as she didn’t know where they had to go first. He shared the schedule with her, but it was a bit too much information all together, and she couldn’t really remember everything that was on the papers. Knowing that she will be either next to Mick or someone else from the team during the whole day was enough for her.
Getting to the entrance they both let themselves in with their passes, Y/N needing a bit of help from him initially, and as they were walking down the paddock Mick took her hand in his. Just seconds later she spotted a few photographers turning their way, but somehow she didn’t care about them. She never really cared about being photographed until it was done by official photographers and not just jealous fans or paparazzi on the streets. She wanted her private life out of the media, keeping all her social media pages private and only posting for her friends and family. Y/N did rarely appear on Mick’s posts or stories, but he was observant of her choices and made sure she was always okay with whatever he wanted to put out. This one time she was even looking forward to the photos taken of them, but would never admit it to anyone. She may have even smiled at a few of them when they passed their booth before entering the Haas hospitality.
“ Well, they probably already like you. Not all partners are that happy about them taking photos. ” Mick let her get through the door first, stepping next to her again inside. It wasn’t a huge building, but looking around quickly Y/N knew she would probably manage to get lost alone. “ If you need food or anything it’s there, and if you need quiet you can always just go to my room upstairs. ” He pointed in different directions, showing everything to her as they went to the stairs and up to the second level of the building.
“ I’m probably gonna stay mostly just out of the way. ” Y/N let out a sigh, following him inside the little room and just putting down her backpack on the sofa. “ Am I even allowed into the garage? Or is it just this building and the stands for guests? ” She asked, watching as he was already packing out a few things from his own bag.
“ Of course you’re allowed. Even if you weren’t I would get them to somehow let you in. It’s your choice if you would like to watch it from the garage or a stand seat. ” Mick shrugged a little, looking up at her with a smile on his face. For him it was still hard to believe that she actually came to the race and didn’t run away yet. “ I’m sure you won’t distract anyone. They’re gonna sit you down somewhere and just continue with their jobs. ” He added when Y/N still didn’t look convinced one bit, even though she knew Mick would never lie to her about anything.
“ I’ll probably just go there with you, watch the race itself from the stands, and then go back to the garage after the race. ” She decided a few minutes later when they were already leaving the building as he had to get some interviews out of the way before getting ready for the main event. She already knew his PR people as they did sometimes meet up with him on non race days too. “ Even at home I can’t stay put while you’re racing. I would just drive them round the bend, but you're the only one who should be driving today. ” Y/N let out a laugh at her own joke, seeing as Mick just shook his head.
When they got to the media pen she let go of his hand, letting him do his job and watching him talk to the reporters from the sidelines. She was too far away to hear any of it, but seeing the constant smile on his face showed Y/N that he was enjoying the questions. They could be a bit prying into his private life occasionally, but mostly they just stayed with the sport and only asked about his performance and opinion on the races. She really didn’t know how someone could enjoy people always questioning them, but she knew it was a part of Mick’s career and even if he didn’t want to do it sometimes, he had to. For her it was enough to just watch them and probably would have never chosen to do an interview if it wasn’t a must. She knew the drivers had media training, Mick probably a lot more thanks to his family, but she still couldn’t imagine how it felt doing this almost every week.
“ Less exciting bit of the day done. ” Mick came up behind her, his arms circling her waist as she turned around to take a few pictures of the sunny paddocks. It wasn’t the usual weather for the German GP, and it looked quite mesmerizing with the sun shining onto the circuit for once. “ Hopefully the weather can stay the same for the race. ” He added with a sigh but a grin got on his face when the camera was turned and Y/N took a selfie of them, almost immediately sending it to their two-family group chat.
“ I wouldn’t mind a bit of sunbathing either. ” She nodded, sliding her phone back into her pockets and turned towards Mick to hug him back. They had a bit of time before he had to get back to the team building and get on with the schedule. “ I’ll probably just catch up with your family while you have meetings, and then meet the team during lunch. If you have enough time of course. ” Y/N added, still looking up at him, remembering that his family is attending the race too. They couldn’t come to all of them, but as they were here already, it wasn’t difficult for them to stay a few days longer and watch the race.
“ We will probably. The race starts later anyway. ” Mick nodded, only letting go of her when they had to get going. Even then he held her hand, pulling Y/N closer when it got crowded around them, so he wouldn’t lose her among all the people. “ I’m gonna go and find you afterwards. Have fun. ” They shared a quick kiss as they arrived at the building and went their different ways. Mick inside for his meetings while Y/N tried to not get lost as she got to the part of the paddocks where Mick’s family sat down for a coffee.
Luckily a few minutes later she was already sitting next to Gina with a coffee in front of her, meaning she didn’t take a wrong turn anywhere. Thanks to Y/N studying away from Germany and Mick travelling around the world they don’t always get to talk in person. It was mostly just phone calls or FaceTime calls when she was with Mick. She sometimes talked to Gina as they weren’t too far apart in age and had a few interests in common, but not as much with Corinna, even though she felt like a second mother to her. She never thought her boyfriend’s family would become such a big part of her life. Actually, until Mick they never really mattered to her, but Corinna and Gina had such a positive attitude towards their relationship and her from the first second she was introduced to them, that they felt like a second family. If Mick’s friends were just a bit like his family she had nothing to fear.
“ Oh Corinna, didn’t know you guys are gonna be here. ” Looking to their right they saw Seb coming up to them, and greeting everyone with a quick hug before he turned to Y/N. “ And even bigger surprise. It’s great to see you here finally. ” He said with a grin, stepping back after their embrace so they all could see Lance coming up to them. Probably because of Seb and not them.
“ I don’t think we’ve met before. I’m Y/N. ” She didn’t know where the courage came from to be so straight forward but hoped it won’t disappear in the next few minutes. She knew Seb pretty well already, as he was around Mick even on off days, and him being there helped her with opening up to Lance a bit.
“ I’m Lance and no, not yet. Although I’ve heard about you. ” Lance let out a little laugh while Y/N’s eyes went a bit wider than usual. “ Only good things. ” He added with a comforting smile, not wanting to scare her that she’s always a topic between them. She did remember a few occasions when Mick mentioned that he talks with Lance too, and not just Seb, but she never asked about the subject.
As they didn’t have to go anywhere, everyone decided that they would wait until Mick got to them. Since they arrived in the country they didn’t have more than a minute to sit still and talk with him, so they weren’t about to give up such a possibility. Y/N knew that Mick wouldn’t mind either, as he was always happy to catch up with friends, and after just a few minutes she didn’t mind either. Lance turned out to be a sweet person, just as Seb always was towards her and she actually was glad they met, and got to talk a little bit.
“ Are you usually travelling with him? ” Lance asked a bit later when they mentioned the next race and if she feels like attending again with all these new experiences.
“ Mostly just during the summer when uni is off my schedule. I usually just explored the cities while he raced. ” Y/N nodded a little, drinking the last bits of her coffee. “ Looks like I will watch the races instead of acting like a tourist. The timing is lucky, as I was about to run out of places to look at. ” She added with a smile, letting the waitress take away her empty cup.
“ Not many of us can get their partners to travel with them. He’s lucky with you in several ways. ” Lance let out a sigh, making Y/N blush and she was about to speak up when she felt two palms rest onto her shoulder.
“ I for sure am, even if I didn’t hear why. ” The owner of the hands spoke up, and a smile got on Y/N’s voice as she immediately recognized Mick’s voice, looking up at him for a second. “ Looks like you’re gonna meet everyone important on the first day. ” He glanced down at her before pulling a chair next to them so he could sit down too after greeting everyone.
“ I never feared your friends. The team is another different question. ” Y/N shook her head a little, looking at him for a bit too long before getting back to the conversation that got disrupted. They stayed right until lunchtime hit and they had to leave for their separate team building while Corinna and Gina went for a walk before the race.
The team members were intimidating at first as there were many of them and they were all curious about her, asking questions so they could get to know her. Luckily minutes after they sat down with their plates of food, everyone calmed down a little and they could finally find the common voice. In the end the meal was an experience that she could put onto the positive part of the list of the day. In the end she even found a few people to talk to while Mick was getting ready. She did go up to his drivers room a few minutes before they would leave, to have a few words with him before the race. He was already in his racing suit, although it was just halfway done, with the top half hanging down from his waist, and for a second Y/N forgot why she was there actually. Somehow the thin white material looked just as good on him as being shirtless did.
“ You’re off to the stands? ” Mick’s voice got her back from thoughts-land and she nodded as soon as her brain finally understood the question. “ We can meet here after the race if you want. They will let you guys in without any trouble. ” He offered, Y/N again just nodding as she didn’t trust her voice until he stepped back a little.
“ Yeah, that sounds good. ” She finally spoke up when Mick stepped back for one more thing and she felt like she could breathe again. “ Be careful. ” Y/N added, returning the quick kiss he initiated and it was a fight with herself to step back and leave the room. It was her first time she was here to witness moments like these, and Y/N couldn’t understand why she made the wait so long for herself.
From the moment she left the building everything happened as they discussed. She watched Mick race everyone and give his all from the stands, sitting next to Gina. They celebrated together with the crowd when the cars crossed the finish line for the last time and while he got the car back to the garage and parked it, they walked back down there. All three of them let the team congratulate him for a fantastic drive, before they stepped up to him one by one, Y/N closing the line. She didn’t really care as this way she could stay next to Mick from the moment he hugged her and didn’t have to step away until he went to change into normal clothing. In the end, even though they planned a private dinner, Y/N felt so secure with his team that they joined them in the hotel restaurant and celebrated the race together with everyone else working next to Mick and his teammate. However Y/N imagined this day would turn out, it exceeded all her expectations.

sawamura daichi
Tumblr media
daichi and you had been together for several months now and everything was good
he was a good, caring boyfriend and was always so supportive and loving- you were truly happy
but daichi felt like there was something you were hiding. a few times a week you would disappear for a few hours in the evening. you didn’t answer messages, didn’t call and you refused to have dates on those specific days
he wasn’t suspicious- no, he fully trusted you but he couldn’t help but be intrigued about your missing time. why couldn’t you tell him where you were? you trusted him, didn’t you?
daichi decides the best thing to do would be to gently enquire about your whereabouts so as you’re cuddling one evening, his arm wrapped around you as you rest your head on his chest, you feel him tense
“daichi, you okay?”
he hummed in response, his fingertips stroking against your arm but they slowly stilled and you lifted your head as daichi began to sit up
“actually, y/n, i’ve been wanting to speak to you about something.” you felt your stomach tighten and the panic must’ve shown in your face because daichi quickly chuckled and cradled your cheeks, laughing as he smoothed the crease between your brows with his gentle thumbs. “don’t worry, it’s nothing bad- i think?”
you were quiet as you waited for him to continue, trying to calm the anxiety bubbling in you
“i was just wondering- do you have other...commitments? maybe specifically on a tuesday, thursday and saturday night?”
he watched your face carefully as he could see the conflict arising and feeling the guilt tighten his chest, he began to caress your hair. “don’t worry, you don’t have to tell me if it’s personal- but you know i’m always here for you through anything.”
you met his encouraging smile with a blush, shyly playing with the hem of your top
“i- uh- i work those nights. just some extra cash to get me through uni.” a pleasantly surprised smile spread across daichi’s face at the answer. why were you so hesitant to tell him that?
“aw, i see- that’s great, y/n.” he was so proud of how responsible you were to be working regularly throughout the university semester and still keep up your brilliant grades. “what do you do?”
you felt your face get hotter and you couldn’t meet your boyfriend’s eyes as you mumbled the answer into your hands. daichi frowned, leaning closer to you as he pulled your hands away from your reddened face. “i didn’t hear you- what was that?”
“i’m a...i’m a nude figure sketch model.” daichi blinked at you, his eyes rounded. and then he nodded, relaxing back against his pillow and pulling you to his chest
it was oddly silent and you couldn’t relax, trying to crane your head to glimpse his facial expression despite the fact he was already cuddling you again
“i see- is it a nice job? do they treat you well?” you nodded, almost giggling into his chest as you began to tell him all about your experiences modelling, feeling the embarrassment and shyness wash away.
you had been so nervous about what your boyfriend would say about your part-time job that you’d forgotten how mature and sensible he was- and most of all, how he adored you too much to not support you in anything you wanted to do
“hey, daichi,” you grinned as you felt your blush fade away. “how would you like to come to one of the classes and see me in action?”
now it was daichi’s turn to blush
inuoka sō
Tumblr media
inuoka was proud of you- you were so hardworking and efficient
you attended full-time university with amazing grades, you tutored first years and inuoka, you were a server at a local diner on weekend afternoons and you even had some other job on sunday evening- not that inuoka could particularly remember for some reason but he just knew you worked very hard so he should be very proud of you
it was one evening after a long volleyball practise that inuoka collapsed onto the bench next to his teammate with a loud sigh. “i’m so tired.” he groaned before a wide grin stretched across his face. “but i get to stay at my s/o’s place today!”
as he began to ramble on about all your amazing qualities achoo, his teammate listened silently, quirking an eyebrow at this amazing person he couldn’t quite believe inuoka was with
“so what’s their name then?” the teammate finally asked and with a bright smile, inuoka pronounced your name carefully and loudly, causing his teammate to hum as he pressed a finger to his chin, deep in thought
“that sounds familiar- what’s their full name?”
“[first name] [last name].” inuoka replied, still beaming as he tied his shoelaces, not noticing the way his teammate had stilled and chuckled awkwardly
“oh- ah, i remember where i know them from.” inuoka looked up, still smiling widely as he waited for the response. he wasn’t the brightest but he was good at reading people, being an excellent middle blocker, and he could tell by his teammate’s mannerisms he was hesitant.
“where?”
“i think they’re one of the sketch models at the art workshop me and some other art students go to on sunday night. they’re a pretty big deal in the art department.” his teammate shyly rubbed at the back of his neck, anxious of the way inuoka had suddenly started beaming brighter
“a model?!” he gasped, his big eyes glazing. “of course- y/n is so pretty, of course they’re a model!”
“no-” he frowned at his teammate’s sudden interjection, watching his friend redden under the orange lights of the gymnasium. “they’re a- a nude sketch model.”
inuoka was silent, his smile still faint of his lips as the hushed whisper sunk into him. his teammate watched inuoka nervously as he got to his feet, swinging his towel over his shoulder and grinned. “alright! have a goodnight, senpai!”
when inuoka arrived at your dorm, he was so happy as usual to see you. he collapsed onto you, engulfing him in his tight hug as he kissed you deeply, making you laugh into his lips
“ew, you stink!”
“and you’re a nude figure sketch model!”
what?
you froze, immediately pushing inuoka off you
he was grinning at you, balancing on his knees at the end of your bed with his arms still outstretched for a hug, confused as to why you looked so horrified
“what- how- how did you find out?” your voice was a meek whisper and inuoka felt his heart sinking at how horrified you looked, his arms falling limply to his sides
“my teammate goes to the art workshop so he recognised your name- why do you look so hurt, baby?” inuoka reached out to hold your shoulder but you quickly dodged it, getting to your feet and beginning to pace the length of your room with anxiety. inuoka watched you with wide eyes, his heart thumping heavily as you saw how red your face was. “baby, why are you upset?”
you stopped pacing, hands twisting nervously as turned to him. inuoka could see the way your eyes had filled with worry and he could feel his mood falling every second longer he looked at you. had he upset you by mentioning your job? but why??
“aren’t you upset? or angry?” your voice was a whisper of fear and inuoka couldn’t bear it any longer. he pulled you into his lap and pressed a big sloppy kiss to your cheek, ignoring your squeal when he almost sucked your whole cheek into his mouth
“why would i be angry or upset? do you know how cool it is that my s/o is a model?! all the artists want to draw you- that’s so cool, y/n! you’re a- what do they call it- a- a muse!!”
his excitement made you smile and blush as you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him into a heavy, breathless kiss. when you broke apart, he rested his forehead against yours and grinned eagerly.
“so when can i come to one of these workshops and see that body of yours, y/n?”
sugawara kōshi
Tumblr media
sugawara was an open-minded man with many interests. he played volleyball, he went to cooking classes, he went to piano lessons, he went to advanced astrophysics classes okay he went to one and now it was time to join an art class
rather easily he managed to find an art class for the following tuesday evening and what better way than to make this a date with you, his lovely s/o
“honey,” he beamed at you sat beside him on the sofa, your legs tangled with his as you read your book, the television mere background noise. “i found a new class for this tuesday- do you want to go with me?”
“this tuesday, darling? i’m sorry- i have work then.” sugawara pouted but he brushed it off, knowing it wasn’t too bad to go alone and you needed all the shifts you could get to support yourself through university
sugawara didn’t know exactly what you did for a job- you’d been working wherever you did before the two of you even began dating and it just hadn’t occurred to him to ask you. all he knew was that a few times a week at various times you were gone for about four hours and you got paid a decent amount. he assumed the job was something every uni student had, like serving or being a tutor
on tuesday, the two of you had left the apartment at the same time, wishing each other a good time at work/class with a sweet kiss before going your separate ways
sugawara was excited as he entered the art class. the smell of paint filled his nose as he greeted the teacher and mingled with a few of the attendees before taking a seat near the front
his knee bounced at the anticipation of his first art class- were they going to paint fruit? flowers? landscape- wait...a person??
sugawara watched as a person walked across the raised platform, their back to the class with a scarlet robe wrapped around them
“and again, to help up explore anatomy our trusted model is here tonight.” the teacher spoke, smiling at the person with an encouraging nod. “if you please, y/n.”
your name rang in sugawara’s ears and his breath hitched in his throat, almost choking as he saw you slip the robe off, revealing your beautiful body to the class as you laid down on the couch before you
no matter how many times sugawara saw yo ur body, you still looked so beautiful, lips tugged into a gentle smile and a relaxed look on you as the lighting shone onto all the perfect curves and crooks of your body- your beautiful body that made sugawara’s heart stop in his chest
then you froze. you tensed, your pose unnatural much to the teacher’s annoyance but you ignored their instructions as your eyes were locked with sugawara’s
he stared back at you, both your eyes wide and a deep blush began to creep up your body
“y/n!” the teacher finally snapped and you broke your eyes away from sugawara’s to face them. “i said can you please balance your head on your hand.”
swallowing hard, you did as they said but you couldn’t help but stare back at sugawara. the class had begun and he had began to sketch across his canvas, his eyes flickering to you every few seconds but you couldn’t relax
every inch of your body was burning with shame and your stomach was tight and nauseous with worry- how did you not figure out your boyfriend was attending this art class?! how was he so calm with his s/o naked in front of a bunch of strangers? why was he smiling- wait smiling??
you felt your cheeks burn further as you noticed the way sugawara’s lips were curled into a smirk, the way his cheeks were flushed and his eyes had darkened, the way he kept dragging his bottom lip between his teeth till it was red and swollen, almost begging for you to lick at it and get lost in sugawara’s sweet taste
the class seemed to drag for hours and finally you were allowed to pull the robe back on, rushing from the room as quickly as you could with your head bowed
you couldn’t help but take your time dressing again. your fingers trembled as you fumbled with your shirt buttons, the nausea growing overwhelming but eventually you had to leave, growing more and more nervous with every step till you were outside
the cool night air hit you, cold against your sweating skin and you swallowed the thick lump in your throat, backing up against the brick wall as sugawara approached you
“well, that was a surprise.” he laughed. you blushed harder and sugawara laughed more, ruffling your hair and suddenly leaning close to you, his hot breath tickling your cheek
“do you know how difficult it was for me hold back, to just not get up there and fuck you right in front of everyone, showing them how well you take my cock?” you gasped as he took your hand, pressing it right over his hardened crotch. “i don’t know how i did it when you looked so gorgeous up there, showing off your beautiful body to everyone.” his fingers suddenly clenched around your hair, drawing your head back and leaving your neck exposed for sugawara’s hot, wet tongue to slide against, drawing a needy whine from you
“i’m going to make sure you know who this beautiful body belongs to and once i’m done with you tonight, i’ll make you lie there and i’m going to draw every single detail about you.”

You took a deep breath as you entered the building that would be your home for the next seven years of your life. Your stomach was filled with excited jitters, though a part of you was anxious. You didn’t really know what you were in for—everything you knew about Sagong Academy, and many other private academies of the sort, was that it was prestigious and that a lot of freshly graduated highschoolers from all over the world wanted to get in. You also knew that it was dangerous. How could it not be when the school was home to vampires?
You hadn’t met a lot of vampires in your life. Statistically, most vampires got turned between the age of 18 and 30, so you had never gone to school with one. There wasn’t a way of telling whether someone was a vampire or not, since they were able to walk around in the sunlight and physically looked the same as humans if they chose to, so unless they openly showed their nature, they were disguised.
When you stepped into the school building, however, you realised it was going to be very easy to keep the humans and vampires apart.
‘’You must be one of the first years,’’ a cheerful boy beamed at you as he walked over, holding out a folder. You nodded and took it, already taken aback by his demanding presence. He was wearing an all-white uniform: neat dress pants that were cuffed at the bottom, a white dress shirt, a white blazer and white shoes. The only things that weren’t white were his tie and some lined details on his uniform, which were a soft, warm orange. The girl next to him was wearing a uniform that was mostly the dark grey color of the boy’s tie, with a grey skirt, shirt, blazer and shoes, including the lined details that mimicked the boy’s uniform. Her stockings were the only fully white items, each having two orange lines at the top.
‘’I’m Changmin, second year student representative of the human house. This is Gahyeon, she’s the second year representative of the vampire house. If you have any questions, we’re the ones you can talk to. What is your name?’’ he asked, looking down at a clipboard as he waited for your answer.
‘’Y/N,’’ you told him, quickly getting used to his fast paced and quirky presence.
‘’Ah, right here,’’ he said with a smile as he crossed your name off of the list.
‘’You’ve been paired up with Lee Jeno, table fifteen in the auditorium,’’ he said, pointing his pen to the left.
‘’Thank you,’’ you smiled at him, then made your way to the auditorium. You already knew the school was wealthy, but seeing the grand building in all its glory, both on the outside and inside, made it all the more real. Golden details on the walls and furniture, marble floors, and the three story high ceiling in the auditorium all showed off how exclusive the school was.
Rows and rows of tables were situated in the large room, and you walked around as you looked at the golden rimmed disks with numbers on the tables. At table number fifteen a dark haired boy sat, who was looking around, looking like he was carrying around about the same amount of nerves as you were. You walked over and cleared your throat, and as you caught his attention he got up from his seat.
‘’Hi, I’m Y/N. I’m supposed to sit at this table with you,’’ you introduce yourself, bowing at the boy. He quickly got up and bowed back, a friendly smile on his face.
‘’Nice to meet you, I’m Jeno,’’ he replied, sitting back down, and you sit next to him.
‘’This place sure is big, isn’t it?’’ he said as you both looked around the room.
‘’Definitely,’’ you agreed, your gaze falling on the back of the room, where a low stage was situated. Some people, whom you assumed were teachers, were standing on it, talking to each other as they waited for all the first years to arrive. You weren’t much of a talker and it seemed like Jeno wasn’t either, which suited you just fine. You preferred to get adjusted to a place and new people before completely opening yourself up, so you took this time to take a good look at the people around you. They were all either wealthy, or scholarship students like yourself, you assumed.
At exactly 9:00 the doors to the auditorium closed, and the staff gathered on the stage. You recognised Changmin and Gahyeon among them. A man stepped up to the microphone, which stood in the center of the stage, and the sound of people talking died down.
‘’Welcome to Sagong Academy. On behalf of the staff, we hope that you will find your stay here educational, enlightening and comfortable. If you have any questions after today’s introductory gathering, please do not hesitate to ask our student representatives,’’ the man said, motioning to a group of six students, including Changmin and Gahyeon. ‘’During your first lessons tomorrow, you will be introduced to them on a more personal level.’’
The speech was long, though anything but boring. Classes were divided between day and night. Vampires didn’t really need to stay inside during the day, but their nightly lifestyle was what worked and what was most convenient. The day and night classes would be mixed during breakfast and dinner—as vampires did in fact eat ‘’regular’’ food next to drinking blood—and during leisure time. During lunch however, night class students would be catching sleep, whereas when you went to bed at night, that’s when the night students would have their classes and their respective lunch. More small details about how things went around the academy were told, until the principal started to call out students’ names, and the dorms they would be staying in.
‘’If you would please follow the student representatives to the dorms. Classes start tomorrow morning at 8:00. Once again, welcome to Sagong Academy.’’
Everyone started clapping, then the murmur of excited students took over. You got up at the same time as Jeno did and you made your way to the groups that were forming.
‘’I’ll see you around,’’ Jeno said to you, to which you smiled in reply and nodded.
‘’Yes, seeya.’’
You walked to the girl who was holding a card that said ‘’1C’’ on it, which was the dorm number that the principal had mentioned when he called your name. You joined the group of girls and waited until the student representative started to walk out of the auditorium. Your group followed, the exited murmurs still hovering in the air, as you walked through the building to the west wing. The girls around you were talking way too excitedly to pay any attention to you, which, once again, suited you just fine.
You arrived at the dorm with the 9 other girls in your group, and gathered around the student representative.
‘’My name is Yoohyeon and I’m a fourth year student of the vampire house,’’ the student representative introduced herself.
‘’You’ll share this dorm room among the ten of you, the main common room out there is used by all human students, though you are allowed to spend your free time anywhere else in the building, except for the vampire dorm rooms. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.’’
She continued talking about practical things, like the school uniforms—which were apparently waiting for you on your bed, and information about classes. Your attention really got caught when she started talking about the feeding procedure.
‘’We have to what now?’’ one of the girls piped up.
‘’Donate your blood,’’ Jayeon repeated without blinking. ‘’Humans donate their blood to the vampire students, no less than once a month, no more than two times a week. Only closely monitored and safe amounts at a time, of course. You can decide how many times you want to do it. If you have medical issues, arrangements can be made, of course. You can speak to the school nurse about that.’’
You had heard about donating blood, though a part of you always thought it was just a rumor. Having it confirmed like this made you even more nervous than you already were. The other girls once again broke into excited whispers, and after Yoohyeon took her leave, you picked a bed and unpacked your luggage. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to not feel too homesick. The next few years sure were going to be interesting.
~
‘’Ah, fresh blood.’’
Juyeon joined Rowoon by the window, both young males now looking down at the groups of first year humans spreading around the courtyard. It was rare to see vampires out and about during the day, simply because most didn’t like to surround themselves with potential triggers. And also because many felt like they were above humans.
‘’Anyone caught your attention yet?’’
‘’Not really. We’ll see, though, once donations start. Think you’ll become a regular this year?’’ Rowoon asked him in return.
‘’Nah, I’m sticking to synthetic for now,’’ Juyeon shook his head. ‘’You know I’m not good at selfcontrol.’’
Rowoon just chuckled softly in return. He remembered all too well how Juyeon had nearly sucked a poor girl dry during one of his first donation sessions. After that the school nurse urged him to switch to synthetic blood for the time being, so he could get used to blood before he learned to control his thirst. Most vampires learned within a few months of transitioning how to resist taking more blood than they needed, but some required a little (or a lot) more time and effort than that.
‘’Well I’m not sticking to synthetic—I can’t wait to try out the newcomers,’’ San smirked as he joined the two older students by the window.
‘’You know it’s going to be at least a few weeks before you get to feed from the vein, right?’’ Rowoon arched an eyebrow at the newborn vampire.
‘’Sure, but it’ll fly by,’’ he said optimistically.
They turned as the door to their common room opened and one of the student representatives entered the room.
‘’Ah, Jaehyun. How was the introduction?’’ Rowoon asked, now walking away from the window.
‘’Interesting. I spotted a few potential recruits, but we’ll have to see,’’ he said with a light shrug.
‘’How about donors? Any with good scents?’’ San pressed, clearly still in the first phase of vampirism, when the hunger was at its peak.
‘’A couple exceptional ones,’’ Jaehyun confirmed with a nod. ‘’I’m sure there will be an argument or two about who gets to request who during donations.’’
Though not usual, it was possible for vampires to request specific humans for blood donations. Since different vampires had different tastes and every human student had to donate blood, there was always plenty of blood for all vampires, but some of the night class students had developed preferences. As some students chose to become vampires after their first year, like San had, some vampires had to make do with the remaining humans and newcomers.
‘’Will your fourth year finally be there year where you drink human blood, too?’’ San asked Jaehyun.
‘’No human blood for me,’’ Jaehyun replied with a shake of his head.
‘’Why not, you were the only one who didn’t struggle when that human girl got a bloody nose in the courtyard last school year,’’ San inquired.
‘’That’s exactly why; I don’t need to satisfy my craving. Synthetic blood works for me and I prefer not to tempt myself when I don’t have to.’’
‘’So mature of you,’’ Seonghwa noted, who had been leaning against one of the many windows in the room, listening to the conversation. Jaehyun chuckled softly at his remark, knowing that the blonde vampire was just teasing him, which was confirmed by the smile on Seonghwa’s lips.
‘’You should try it some time, you might like it.’’
‘’I highly doubt that,’’ Seonghwa said, turning up his nose at the idea of giving up real human blood to the synthetic crap that Jaehyun and Juyeon drank.
‘’Anyway, if you want to get rest before classes tonight, this is the moment,’’ Rowoon announced as he walked to the room of his dorm. Though vampires didn’t really need to sleep, or eat regular food for that matter, both of these things helped with suppressing their ultimate craving for human blood, so most vampires spent a few hours a day resting in bed at least.
‘’I should. See you guys tonight,’’ Juyeon said, following Rowoon to the spiral staircase that led up to the different dorm rooms..
‘’Boring,’’ San sighed, flopping down on the black leather couch in the middle of the sitting area.
‘’Don’t be a baby. Things will soon get interesting around here,’’ Seonghwa said with a wink, before averting his gaze to the courtyard. Very interesting.
~
‘’Welcome to your first class at Sagong Academy. I am your homeroom teacher, as well as your Ethics teacher, Mrs. Byeon. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions, should you have any.’’
‘’When will we start having to give blood donations?’’ someone asked immediately. You could see that Mrs. Byeon was ticked off by the sudden question, even though she just said questions were welcome, from the slight clench of her jaw.
‘’Actually, your first ones will be made today. You’ll be escorted to the donation wing by one of the student representatives assigned to this class shortly.’’
Even though the subject had been touched upon several times now, nobody had explained how the blood donations actually worked. Did you simply have to sit in a chair while a nurse stuck a needle in your arm so a vampire could suck the blood out of you with a straw?
You shook your head, trying to practically shake the image out of your head, as it made your skin crawl.
When Changmin entered the class with his signature smile on his face, Mrs. Byeon dismissed the class. You grabbed your bag and got up, following the second year student with the rest of your classmates. It was nice walking around the building, as it helped you get to know the place better, though you were sure that you would get lost at some point. You noticed that not only did the human students’ uniforms differ from the vampire uniforms, yours being white and theirs grey, but the lined details came in different colors too.
“They represent what year you’re in. Mine are orange, for second years. Yours are red, which means first years. Third years are yellow, fourth years green, and so forth, all up until the seventh year,” Changmin explained, looking back over his shoulder after you had asked him about it.
‘’Here we are,’’ Changmin said, entering a large room. In the middle of the room stood a large desk, behind which three school nurses were working. Throughout the room were white leather couches with soft looking pillows, some of which were occupied by other human students. Along the left wall of the room were five doors, all of which were closed, and all with a bright red light bulb above them.
‘’Those are the rooms in which the donations take place. If the light bulb is on, it means that the room is being used. The nurses will tell you when it’s time for you to enter a room. You can choose to keep the light on or off inside the room, depending on what makes you the most comfortable. A vampire will bite your neck—don’t worry, their teeth are so sharp you’ll hardly feel anything—and with the use of a blood pressure monitor the school nurse will be able to keep track of your health. Though don’t worry, vampires know exactly when to stop and most choose to do so before it gets unpleasant.’’
You wondered why he would include that last bit of information, as it instantly made you nervous, but you realised that he probably had to mention it as a disclaimer.
‘’The most important thing is to relax. You’ll get used to it, and after a while it’s nothing to be nervous about at all.’’
As you waited, you watched some of the students coming out of the donation rooms. They looked fine, as far as you could tell. They all had a small band aid stuck to their neck, and the nurses handed each of them either a piece of fruit or a cookie, to get their blood sugar level up again.
Seeing the students act so ordinary after giving blood, you felt a little bit calmer. There was nothing to worry about, surely if this was a normal thing here at school, accidents were unusual. Right?
You were about to tap Changmin on the shoulder to ask whether a student had ever died during a donation session, when one of the nurses called your name.
‘’Door number two, please,’’ she smiled, motioning to the second door on the left. You gulped and got up, smoothing out your white skirt, and made your way to the door. You opened it and slowly stepped inside. The room was smaller than you expected, though not any less beautiful that the other areas you had been to so far. There was another door on the wall across from you, the doorframe and knob the same shining gold as everywhere else in the building. In the middle of the square room was a comfortable looking stool with a rich red cushion on it. A small table on the side held a small bottle of water, a few band aids, a wristband of some sort and what seemed to be an instruction card on it. You stepped up to the table and picked up the card.
Please drink at least a small amount of water before donating.
Please place the wristband around your wrist firmly, though not so firm that it cuts off your circulation. The light on the wristband should be green.
When you are ready, please press the red button next to the door frame.
Please take a seat on the stool (facing the door you entered through) and await instructions.
You put the card down and took the bottle of water. You weren’t sure what a few sips of water would do for the blood donating experience, but it helped a little bit to calm your nerves. You took a few gulps, then put the bottle down again and took the wristband. You put it around your wrist, then tightened it so that it sat comfortably against your skin. After a few seconds a small green light on the wristband lit up. So far so good.
You looked at the red button next to the door you entered through, and hesitantly pressed it. You then stepped to the stool and climbed up on it, sitting with your back towards the other door. You took a deep breath and waited for the instructions.
‘’Please choose: lights, on or off,’’ a slightly robotic voice asked you. You hesitated. You weren’t afraid of the dark—you were actually pretty comfortable in it. Though did you really want an unknown vampire feeding from you for the first time in the dark?
‘’Please choose: lights, on or off,’’ the voice asked you again.
What was worse, being fed on by someone while being able to see their face, or not?
‘’Off,’’ you decided, still unsure of your decision. Right now, you’d rather not be confronted with the face of the person who would have your life in their hands for the next few minutes, and having to face them afterwards around school. Especially since you didn’t know whether you would freak out or not. What if it hurt and you screamed? What if they didn’t stop when you started to get dizzy?
The light turned off and you nearly held your breath awaiting what would happen next. A small amount of light entered the room as the door behind you opened and someone entered. The door closed again and you were engulfed in darkness. You expected someone to greet you, or at least say something to indicate that they were there, but it remained quiet. Your body tensed and your heartbeat quickened. They surely wouldn’t just bite you out of the blue, would they? Not only would that be rude, but it would undoubtedly ruin the whole experience for you, scaring you for each and every following time you had to donate—
Your train of thoughts got cut off when you felt someone brush your hair to the side, gently pushing it over your left shoulder, exposing the right side of your neck. You shivered lightly at the sudden touch, even though it was ever so soft. You could feel the person behind you inch closer and… you could have sworn that they sniffed at you.
The tip of their nose brushed lightly against your exposed skin, making you shiver once again. Your heart was beating rapidly and they had hardly even touched you yet.
‘’Hmm…’’ the person hummed softly, the first thing they had said to you at all, if you could even call it ‘saying’ anything.
‘’Nice to meet you, princess.’’

Hello:) can I make a request about warren and the reader (you can choose her mutation) where they like each other but he denies it and everybody teases warren about it but then he snaps(?) and says mean/rude things about her and maybe she’s right there and he doesn’t realize it. Like super angsty but some fluff at the end pleasee (ik this is too specific so hopefully you can make it, and I knoww you can do angst so good, but if you don’t want to do it is ok)💖 :D
We're Not Friends [Request]
Tumblr media
Note: I got SO SO SO carried away with this one, like... I love writing Warren, I just love the character in general! He's... I love it! It's never too specific, it always helps me to have some guidance! And well... Angst's my jam I guess! XP I hope you'll like what I wrote :D nonnie!!! 💕
~~~
You were late. Extremely late. Fashionably late. Tastefully late. Your boss wouldn't be happy about it, you knew it so you got a wriggle up. Friday nights were always so hectic for you: you had to run from university directly to the mutants bar, for the greatest fights of the week. Stars seemed to hate you, they aligned like this in order to be a pain in your ass and you hated it.
The bar was already full when you walked in and made your way towards the fighter's lockers. You had about ten minutes to make yourself ready for the show you had to put on that night. Ten minutes to secure your body and to put a nice leather jacket on. Should be enough. You pushed the door and bumped into a wide chest. You began to babble some lame excuses before looking up. Warren. Obviously.
“Was about to see if you weren't eaten by someone outside,” he joked and you rolled your eyes before pushing him aside a bit in order to enter the room.
“I'm not tasteful,” you replied as you made your way towards the bench on which you threw your bag with everything you needed for tonight.
“Yeah, tell that to this big guy,” Warren's friend – whom you haven't noticed at all when entering the room – said as he tilted his head towards Warren.
“Very funny,” he grunted and closed the door behind him before coming back to his spot to end his preparation for the night.
You never knew what to expect from Warren. Well, you mostly knew that he was able to show up at your university's library when you were working on an assignment and gather all of your books to take you to the cinema, or to sit next to you during some of your classes – sleeping most of the time – just because he had nothing to do. And whenever he wasn't trying to sneak into your university, he would encourage you to practice for the fights or go with you into a coffee shop.
You smiled when you remembered how much you hated each other's attitudes at the very beginning, when you joined the bar's crew. You were cheeky, and so was he. Both of you tried to out speak each other until you understood that you shared a common passion: literature. You shared a love for a French author, Boris Vian, and his books. You were fond of these and that made you stay for the first time, after work, at the bar discussing about the books he had written.
“Hey, Worthington, you'll let her win today too?” another guy asked him and you looked at him after putting a black t-shirt on. He groaned before rolling his eyes and looked at you tying up your hair for the fights of tonight.
“Shut up,” he snapped without even looking at the man as he put his leather jacket on.
“Yeah, shut up,” you added as you were bandaging your hands now. “I'm just too powerful for him, he never lets me win: I win,” you teased him as you stuck out your tongue.
“We'll see whose hands will be bruised tonight,” he warned you with a smirk, a smirk his friend noticed – not for the first time he had to admit it.
“Be careful birdy, or I'll pluck your feathers out.”
“Sure thing. We see each other in the cage, sandwoman.”
“As every night, birdy.”
~~~
He had trained well to avoid your eyes during the fight, because he knew. He knew that if his eyes would meet yours, he would be screwed. You were called the Illusionist for a reason, this reason being your eyes plunging your opponent in a deep sleep, a beautiful dream full of torture which made them twist with pain if you wanted. And you still remembered how confidently Warren flew towards you, with the intention to crush you right in front of all the people right there when you looked him right in the eye. And he fell. Like a feather, a heavy feather, right on the ground. Since then, he was careful especially with the painful moment you gave him.
But then, you shared memories, you shared beautiful places with him. Because he was your cheeky friend, the kind of friend who would hold your hand when you were walking in the streets and telling you that your stage name was lame, a friend who would buy you books from time to time and you would offer him the priced copies of some Vian's books, a friend with whom you would argue to know who would pay for the coffee. He was a friend, a friend with beautiful eyes and a husky and raspy voice – giving you goosebumps when he spoke right above your shoulders and made your knees weak sometimes – a friend you liked, or maybe just someone you liked a bit more than first intended.
And on that night, he won the fight. He caught you off guard, throwing you against the fence and you had your breath short. You struggled to breathe for a moment and rose your hand in defeat, after almost fifteen minutes of fighting. He proudly smiled, and flew in order to show off his skills as the crowd chanted his name. But from there, you could see his concerned expression. And as soon as he caught your eyes, he mouthed if everything was okay. You simply nodded before going out the cag before the next fight. You had won three fights in a row, it was Warren's time to shine.
And as soon as the fights ended, you packed your things to go back home. You were exhausted, you needed sleep and Warren bruised you well – and he seemed damn proud about it, but first he admitted that he had been really anxious about your state when you hit the fence. He first insisted to take you back home, but you told him that you were too tired to wait for him to finally get ready to go back home. He chuckled and shook his head as you waved to say goodbye to the whole crew. You were already outside the bar when you noticed that your bag was heavier than intended, you opened it and found out why: you took Warren's fighting belt. And the thing weighted a ton and a half. You sighed, either you went back into the bar either you went back home. You opted for the first one. You stood already behind the door, ready to push it when you heard a big laugh.
“Warren, don't be such a dick and tell us that y/n is your girlfriend,” you recognized one of the other fighter's voice and you decided to stay behind the door.
“She's not,” he defended himself, and you could hear annoyance in his tone.
“Everytime you're looking at each other you're practically fucking in front of us,” another one exclaimed and you were thrown off balance for a second. You blinked furiously, shaking your head. No, that wasn't true.
“That's true,” the first one commented as if he had heard your mind. “And all these dates?”
“Dates,” Warren asked.
“Cinema, coffee shop... You going with her to uni, like man, we're not blind! Tell us you're fucking around or...”
“Listen to me fucker,” Warren's tone rose quickly, and you almost felt as irritated as he was. “I don't care about her, okay? I never cared. I don't care. I just want to win every fucking fight in this fucking cage against her because she humiliated me the first time! Got it?”
You perfectly got it. You perfectly did. You turned back, holding back tears and walked out the bar.
~~~
After a whole weekend of crying, you decided to tell your boss that you couldn't make it on Wednesday because of the fence incident, but that you would be there on Friday. He understood, and told you to rest well during the week. It hurt a lot to hear these words coming from a friend's – or even more – mouth, it did hurt so much. You couldn't let the words go. “I never cared.” Of course he never did. Of course all he ever wanted was to win, to be the best. He still was the haughty prick you though he was at the very beginning before you bonded over literature. He was a bastard, he was even worse than that.
And because he knew when you had classes, when you were home or not – mostly – you decided to go to other classes during that week. You couldn't let this bastard ruin your education, you couldn't let him win there too. So you avoided the places you knew he would come to meet you. You avoided him for a whole week, your greatest achievement so far. You were strangers. Nothing less and nothing more. He claimed being your friend, he claimed that you were an amazing person, he claimed it all. All lies, stupid lies you fell for. You even regretted developing stupid feelings towards him. You hated yourself for letting this man come into your life, become a part of your every-day life, your little sunshine with his golden locks and angelic smile making you melt when he laid his green pearly eyes on you. You hated yourself so fucking much.
And then, Friday had come. You entered the changing room, and all eyes were on you. You smiled and waved. The boss told them you were sick, you confirmed what he had said to them.
“Y/n, I'm so sorry for throwing you against this fence, I didn't,” Warren began, approaching you in order to put his hand on your shoulder but swiftly you moved so he couldn't.
“No problem,” you snapped dryly and briefly looked into his eyes. You tried to erase any ounce of emotion in yours, the pain, the anger, the cries. Every one of them.
“Sure you're alright,” he asked you, frowning.
“Yeah, I'm ready to fight Warren, if it's what you're implying.” He looked at you confused.
“Oh, okay...”
“Here, your fighting belt, took it by accident,” you said, before throwing it into his hands.
What an actor, what a motherfucking actor. The pain in his eyes? Fake. These glistening eyes were anything but truthful. His words echoing in your mind, “I never cared”, you tied your hair up before storming out the room, leaving all the others surprised by your attitude. And on that night, you fought like you never did, rage filling your veins and filling your opponent's minds – especially Warren's when his time had come to lose against you.And when the night ended, you were the first one to leave. No goodbye, no waving, nothing.
The delicate breeze caressed your burning cheeks. Once outside, you let all your emotions out, thinking how cathartic this night was for you. For a moment only.
“Y/n!” Fucking hell, you thought as you recognized Warren's voice. But you didn't bother to turn around and continued walking. “Y/n!” And you heard a flap of wings. God, he landed right in front of you.
“What the fuck,” you snapped standing still in front of him.
“No, what the fuck, y/n,” he repeated. You could tell how confused he was with his jaw clenched. You blinked a few times, playing it innocent. “You know what I mean, y/n! You're avoiding me, right?”
“Avoiding you,” you asked and put a hand on his shoulder. “You wish. The world isn't revolving around you, Archangel.”
“So why you weren't going to uni this week? I tried to see you there, as usual, you know.”
“I was going to my classes, just had to change hours, I had a tough time this week healing my wounds.” Every wound of your heart, you had to heal them. The process just began, but the stitches itched so much.
“You're cold, y/n,” he stated, his puppy eyes looking down at you.
“I thought you never cared, Warren,” you told him sarcastically. The stitches broke at that very moment, how did it hurt, how much did it bled.
“What?” His eyes widened as he looked surprised. You couldn't help yourself but chuckle through the pain.
“Well, I humiliated you the first time we fought, remember? Being my friend was a great strategy Warren, you're way smarter than I thought you were.”
“How you...”
“I came back to give you your belt back,” you cut him off sharply. “Your stupid fucking belt. Thanks to that belt I know that I have no friends, I mean no,” you corrected yourself with a pained smirk, “I have friends, but you're not one of them.”
“Y/n, listen I'm sorry you had to hear this I,” he tried, but you couldn't gather yourself to hear his pitiful explanations.
“That's fine Warren, I got you. You wanted to win, you hurt me and you won. Congratulations, you're a true bastard now.” You stepped aside to walk away, and he didn't move. He probably never liked you in the first place.
~~~
You couldn't stay home, it was too painful to lose a friend. To lose somebody you loved so much. Your heart was ready to explode again, filled with sadness and anger. You wanted to take some fresh air, so you put your coat on and went outside, hands in your pockets and strolled your way to the park.
Some flowers were already there, colorful and joyful as your mind was gray and gloomy. You sat in the grass, against a trunk and closes your eyes for a second. You would have given anything to let somebody use their mutation against you, a mutation erasing memories, a mutation making you feel whatever the person wanted – and in your case it was joy – or a mutation letting you sleep and never care. How funny, you wanted to never care. You maybe were both the same, him and you. This massive flapping of wings, people's “oh's” and “ah's” and you knew he was here. You were stupid thinking that he wouldn't check if you weren't here, it was one of your favorites spots after all.
You closed your eyes again, not having the strength to get up and leave, to flee. You weren't a coward, unlike him. You could hear his steps in the grass, right in front of you. You opened your eye, to look at him briefly. He had a book in his hands, standing above you with a sad expression. What a liar.
“What do you want,” you snapped, before closing your eye.
“To apologize,” he said after a moment of silence.
“Apology accepted, go home.”
“No, y/n, I want to properly apologize,” he said, and knelt before you. You opened your eyes, and he was right in front of you, looking into your eyes, devouring your soul.
“I thought you never cared.”
“I lied. I fucking lied. I just had enough of them saying this,” he admitted as he looked away.
“Yeah, I understand. I'm a fucking pain in the ass.”
“No, you're great! You're... Fuck, here we are. You're so great, y/n, you're really amazing, and you're intelligent and your mutation is fucking insane and...”
“You wanted to compete,” you asked, not fully following his train of thought.
“At first yes but then... I just wanted to know you better? And I found so much more than competition, for fuck's sake, you like Boris Vian, who in this fucking world likes this weirdo,” he asked before handing you the book. “Put my hand on one of the first editions of the 'I spit on your graves', and I thought it should be yours.” Your eyes lighted up. But at the same time, you couldn't tell if he did it only to be able to continue this littlegame of his. However, you put your hand on the cover of the book.
“Are you sure?”
“As sure as I want to kiss you right now.” He took your breath away, without any warning. Your hand fell off the book, and you slightly opened your mouth in surprise. You blinked.
“But you said,” you started, really confused this time.
“Screw what I said, I already screwed many things so I thought that I might tell you right now how I feel about you.”
“I think I... Feel the same?” Your voice was unsure, and your mind full of fuzzy thoughts. A moment before you wanted to tore him apart, and now he confessed his lore to you, your little heart began to pound with love.
“Does that mean that I can kiss you?” You nodded, and he put the book aside, right next to you.
He approached you, his wings behind him, and you felt your cheeks burning. He put a finger under your chin before touching your lips with his. A tender touch with his rosy lips. You felt it all, your mind all dizzy. And when he pulled off, he caressed your cheek gently.
“I promise I'll never make you sad and angry like I did, I promise y/n,” he whispered and you felt that you were his world. And he was your world too.

A Birthday Surprise
This is my first Barisi fanfic so please go easy on me, just love these two and Raúl, anyway enjoy x
(I also have a Kofi page if you're interested)
To say Amanda was surprised when she found out that Barba and Carisi were sleeping together would be a lie, she wasn’t blind, she could see the tension in their mutual teasing and battle of the wits. To then find out that not only were they sleeping together but were in a long-term committed relationship however was a little bit of a surprise. She was happy for them, she just didn’t realise that their relationship went further than sexual tension to be dispelled by hooking up once in a while. But the icing on the cake had to be finding out that they had been living together for a year and no one had noticed, not even Liv.
Which leads her to today, Barba and Carisi had invited the squad round to celebrate Carisi’s birthday. His birthday wasn’t actually today but they were all working on the day so they waited until the weekend rolled around to celebrate. When Carisi suggested his and Barba’s apartment Amanda could see the look Barba gave Carisi, a look of ‘what  the hell are you thinking?’. However, before Barba could object to the idea, Carisi placed his hand on Barba’s thigh under the table and that look in Barba’s eye turned to soft resignation, it took all of Amanda’ self control not to smirk at the rare display of affection, not to mention the fact that Carisi had managed to wrap Barba round his finger. Letting her eyes drift from Barba to Carisi she could see the smug look he wore, he knew the control he had over the ADA and although Amanda knew that that control wasn’t something Carisi would abuse, she could tell he definitely made use of it.
So the plans were settled, and everyone agreed to meet at Carisi and Barba’s apartment on Saturday - today - to celebrate Carisi getting that little bit older. She had already given Carisi his present on his actual birthday, a tie from a tailors he had been practically drooling over when they went to speak to the owner for a case a few months back, she knew she’d done well when Barba complimented her gift, telling her it suited Carisi’s skin tone perfectly.
Now, as she waited for the elevator in the lobby of their apartment building, she was still trying to wrap her head around the idea of Barba and Carisi being in a relationship, a proper committed relationship.
xXx
Carisi was nervous, she could tell by the way he was peeling the label off his beer bottle. He hadn’t made eye contact with her since they arrived at the bar and his nervousness was beginning to make her feel anxious. Was he ok? Had something bad happened to him, his family? She wasn’t sure if he’d appreciate her putting her hand on his shoulder so instead, she slid the beer bottle out of his hand to draw his attention to her.
“Carisi, has something happened?” She asks, his eyes still refusing to meet hers.
“No. I- uh why is this so hard?” He said, talking more to himself than her. “I wanted to speak to you about something…” he says, his voice trailing off at the end, she could see the internal struggle he was facing on whether or not to tell her what he needed to tell her or let it go.
“Whatever you need to say, I'm here to listen,” she says, deciding to let him talk when he was ready, trying not to force him to say anything he wasn’t ready to say no matter how curious she was.
Carisi finally meets her eyes and for a moment he says nothing, just staring at her as if he is looking for something, he must find it because he grabs his beer bottle, takes a long sip and turns to face her completely.
“I’m bisexual.”
xXx
She remembers that night he came out to her like it was yesterday, he was so scared of her rejecting him, of reacting badly like so many others must have done before. And when she didn’t, when she gave him a hug and told him she was proud of him, grateful that he decided she was worthy of him telling her something so personal, he nearly broke down in tears of relief.
They had become closer after that, Carisi told her about his previous relationships, his catholic family’s reaction to their only son coming out as bisexual. That night was a rough one, to say that they hadn’t taken it well would be an understatement but they were coming round, slowly but surely. They drank a lot that night and Amanda can still remember the hangover they both had the next morning.
The elevator finally arrives and as she turns to push the button for Barba and Carisi’s floor she sees Liv enter the lobby, she holds the door open long enough for Liv to make it in before allowing the doors to close.
“I’ve spent all week wondering what their apartment looks like,” Amanda says by way of greeting and she can see Liv smile.
“Honestly, I’ve been doing the same. Until Carisi invited us I realised I haven’t been to any of their apartments even before they moved in together,” Liv replied, Amanda smiled.
“I’m still trying to get my head around how none of us noticed. I mean we’re detectives, how could we not notice?” She responds, her question was one she knew Liv shared.
Barba and Liv were very close, best friends even, and yet he didn’t tell her that he had moved in with one of her detectives, and that they had been living together for over a year. Then again, Barba was a very private man, Amanda could probably count on one hand the amount of personal information she knew about him. That thought leads her to Carisi, sure she knew a lot about Carisi, the man was practically an open book in most aspects, and having come out to her she assumed he would have told her if he was in a relationship. But no, he too - like Barba - had hidden it from her, all of them really.
“I’m trying not to take it personally,” Liv says, breaking Amanda out of her runaway thoughts. “They didn’t have to tell us, but I'm glad they did.” She finished, however Amanda saw her mouth open again as if to speak before she closed it again. Amanda waited for her to continue, knowing that whatever Liv was about to say was important if she was consciously working out how to put her thoughts in to words.
“I just can’t help wondering why they didn’t tell us sooner? I mean, I know they said that they didn’t intend for it to be a great big secret and that they just didn’t know how to tell us without it being a big thing. I just worry that maybe there was another reason, that they didn’t feel safe telling us,” she explained, a tired look crossing her face making it clear that Liv had spent the whole week worrying about this in her head.
“Have you spoken to Barba about this? I think it’d help,” she offers. “I can see where you’re coming from, if I'm honest I'm a little hurt that Carisi didn’t tell me, he tells me about everything else. But I can also see from their perspective, it’s hard enough in our world for them to be out, every so often I hear unis and other lawyers take digs at them. Their relationship as I'm sure you’ve noticed has already caused quite a stir,” Amanda rationalises, if anything saying it out loud makes her see their perspective a little clearer.
Liv turns to her, a small smile gracing her features and Amanda knows she’s comforted by her words.
“Yeah, I guess you’re right. I guess maybe I'm more annoyed at myself for not noticing,” she says, a teasing smile growing prominently, Amanda returns it.
The elevator finally arrives on the right floor and they both leave feeling better than when they entered. Finding the right door, Liv knocks and they only have to wait a few seconds before Carisi answers it, dressed casually but it’s clear to Amanda that these are clothes bought by Barba. Carisi wouldn’t pay the amount the blue long sleeve shirt he was wearing cost but Barba definitely would.
“Hey, you’re the last to arrive, please come in,” he says, standing to the side to let them past. “Can I take your coats?” Amanda rolls her eyes and shrugs off her coat, Liv following suit.
“Aren't you a good little host?” She teases, Carisi grins taking their coats and hanging them on the rack behind the door.
“What can I say, my mother taught me right,” he teases back, a mocking but happy smile plastered on his face. “Drinks are in the kitchen on the right, help yourself,” he finishes leading them through to the living room opposite the kitchen.
The apartment is exactly what Amanda imagined Barba would live in, the living room is spacious with a large expensive but comfortable looking furniture and large windows with views of the city. A short hallway leading to what she assumes is the bedrooms and the bathroom. The kitchen is filled with top of the line appliances a very expensive looking coffee maker and sleek counter tops, she finds the beer in the fridge and grabs a glass of wine for Liv as well and walks back across to the living room.
Carisi drops down on to the large L-shaped couch next to Barba, his arm thrown over the back and they’re pressed together at the side in way they never would at work and Amanda can’t help but find it sweet the Barba doesn’t even pretend to act annoyed but relaxes instantly in to Carisi’s side.
She passes the wine to Liv and sits down beside her on the opposite side of the couch from the love birds. Fin taking the armchair across from all of them.
“Well, shall we raise a toast?” Fin announces, raising his bottle. “Happy Birthday Carisi, may you live to share your legal knowledge for another year whether we want it or not,” he teases.
Everyone except Carisi nods their head in agreement and amusement while saying “Cheers!” including Barba, who gets a pinch on his arm from his boyfriend, but the look they share is one of good natured teasing that makes Amanda ache for someone to look at her like that.
The group carry on after that, Carisi thanking them for coming, Liv moving closer to Barba to talk about the apartment, Amanda can see a proud look on his face, it’s clear he loves his and Carisi’s home. She chats with Fin and Carisi about the dinner he and Barba had with his parents and sisters on his actual birthday, Amanda and Fin laughing at Barba being ambushed by Carisi’s sisters, Theresa and Gina making it known that if it doesn’t work out with Sonny, Barba should give either of them a call.
After a few more beers, Amanda asks where to find the bathroom, “First door on the right,” Carisi says, his arm still firmly around Barba.
She finds the bathroom and marvels at the large bathtub in the corner, wishing her own was that big. After finishing her business and washing her hands in one of the two sinks she opens the door to leave but pauses and decides to have a nose around the apartment without supervision, starting with the bathroom cabinets. The pain killers for migraines are probably Barba’s and the expensive shaving kit is probably his too. She finds hair gel that most definitely belongs to Carisi as it is the same brand he has in his desk for long days. As she’s about to close it and move on to the bedroom, she see’s something that catches her eye. A box of extra large condoms, grinning she takes a picture of the box to tease Carisi about later puts her phone back in her pocket when she hears someone clear their throat behind her.
“Having a nose around are we?” Carisi says, a mocking glint in his eyes. Amanda smiles and hold up the box of condoms.
“Barba’s a lucky man, Carisi, who knew you were packing so much heat in those tailored trousers,” she teases, waiting to see the tall detectives cheeks flush red with embarrassment as it so often does, only instead of blushing she sees him smirk, a mischievous look flash across his face.
“They’re not mine,” he quips, watching her expression turn to one of shock, before leaving her there in the bathroom.
After taking a minute to recover from the shock of finding out about Barba’s size she puts the box back in the cabinet and heads back to the living room hoping her face isn’t red. She arrives just in time for Carisi to lean in and whisper something in Barba’s ear, and to her mortification she see’s Barba’s smile turn to into a predatory smirk. He catches her eye and winks making her choke on her beer. Fin and Liv turning to her in concern, but she passes it off with a “wrong tube” and takes another drink, making a mental note to never go through Barba or Carisi’s things again, there are some things she doesn’t want to know.

Coffee Beans (Hyungwon x Reader) Barista!AU
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff Word Count: 1.9k  Member: Hyungwon | Group: Monsta X
Once again you were off to your daily classes at your university as you rushed out of the house with a bagel in your mouth and rushed off to your nearest cafe to get a coffee since you were addicted to caffeine and needed it to stay sane throughout the day. You pushed your way through the frigid winds and into the coffee scented place. A small gust of warm air conditioning hits your face instead of that sharp cold gust. You scan the area as you normally do for the line and to your luck, there was nobody waiting to for their order to be taken at that very moment. You look up after dazing out for a second to march forward to give your order when you notice the barista that was going to be serving you was new and you had never seen him around in the months that you had been moved to this town for university. You gaze at his genuine smile, as if he loved to work there already and heard his deep melodic voice asking, “What can I get you today?”
You return that smile and snap out of whatever trance you fell into and replied, “I’ll have my usual, a large warmed caramel macchiato,” He input your order into the electronic screen and nodded his head. “That will be $5 please.” You handed him over the money as you also prompted to say, “My name is (Y/N) and I come here pretty often, so expect to see me here every other day or so.”
He tilted his head and replied with a soft tone, “It’s nice to meet you (Y/N), I’m Hyungwon, and I am pleased to know that you will return.” You gazed at him before taking your drink and turning away. He was tall, and quite adorable you thought. You weren’t interested or looking at anybody in particular since you were always taught to focus on your education first but your mind might sway a little after this particular encounter and possibly later on in the future. You shrugged off the thought as you rushed out after giving a hint of gratitude towards him, checking the time and being anxious that you might be late yet again to your first class of the day.
You exit your classroom after an hour or so of a boring biology lecture from your professor whilst reading over the assignments that were due that night. You were stressed and the caffeine high was slowly dissipating into the void. You decided to head over to the lunch hall in order to relax your mind a bit before returning to your apartment to be enslaved with work for hours. You turned the corner with a blind eye and rammed your head into what seemed to be somebody’s back. You looked up and you were met with the same man that you had seen in the morning. “Hyungwon?” you mumbled with a shock while stepping back and bowing as an apology. “Sorry! Just was kinda-- lost in my thoughts,” you excused while he held his hands up. “(Y/N), what a nice surprise to find you here, didn’t mean to hurt you though, you alright?” he inquired with a soft tone. You nodded and continued,”I was just about to have lunch before doing a buttload of homework.” “I was about to head in actually, do you want to come with me?” You nodded in delight as you walked side by side with him. What a strange encounter, you thought as you walked through the double doors that lead into the pleasant smell of food. You had already been in uni as a first year but you hadn’t met anybody who you really clicked with so far. You were surprised that somebody like him actually wanted to have lunch with you, but you decided not to think too much into it.
You both grabbed what you both desired and headed towards an empty table. You sat down and let out a sigh, already feeling the stress starting to lift. “So are you a student, or staff, or something else…?” you trailed off, gazing into his flawless features. He let out a subtle chuckle and replied. “I’m just a student don’t worry, second year hence being able to find time to work at the cafe as well. You nodded and a smile lit up. “What’s your major? I’m trying to get a degree in (Y/M).” He nodded understandingly. “I’m in photography right now but I’m really thinking about changing it into some sort of music major. I’m really into making music as well as DJing.” Your eyes lit up just a bit and a smile formed. “That’s so cool, do what you love I really like that!”
You guys both finish up your meal and you stand up, ready to depart from the lunch hall. “I have a class right now but it was really nice hanging out with you,” Hyungwon remarked. “And I have a bunch of homework to slave over until who knows when,” you laughed. You waved to him as you headed towards the door in the direction of your apartment but before you could make it out, you hear footsteps running and a tap on your shoulder. Hyungwon had his eyes down but he directly shoved a small piece of paper with what seemed to be scribbles on it before blurting out, “Text me, let’s meet up again.” You took it but as your eyes gazed from the number he had written down back to his figure, he was already walking away in the direction of his class. You felt a small tint of blush form in your cheeks while thinking about the new friendship that would form, or maybe even something more.
Days turned into weeks as you stopped by the little cafe every morning in hopes of seeing Hyungwon. A nice friendship had formed in between the two of you, your first real friend of university thus far actually. You took out your earbuds as you entered the cafe for your daily coffee run before your first class of the day. As the bell chimed, Hyungwon would turn around and embrace your figure with his eyes. “One warm caramel macchiato?” he inquired with a smirk, knowing your order. You nodded and proceeded to take out your card to pay for your coffee but he held out his hand and remarked,”It’s on me today (Y/N), don’t worry about it.” “No, don’t do that, it’s alright save your money for tuition!” you joked. “Really it’s on me today,” he soothed as he turned around to make your warm coffee. Nobody had really done this for you, ever. You felt a bit special, and the tiny confused emotions you felt for him began to surface more than you would have expected.
The weeks passed quickly and the two of you grew even closer, spending time at each other’s apartments after learning he lived in the complex just across the street from you. It was one of the coldest days of winter at this point and you finished just about half your finals and good god, the rest of the semester seemed to stretch on forever and you were beyond stressed. Going to the cafe in the morning was buried deep into your routine and you’d see Hyungwon practically every time you came in. You grabbed the door handle and swung it open, expecting to see the adorable familiar face you’d see on the same basis. Instead, you saw an older gentleman that you used to see when you went during different times of the day. Your heart dropped, wanting to see him. “What can I get you today?” he asked with a gentle tone. “Uh, sorry but is Hyungwon not working today?” you blurted out, wondering if he was alright. He texted you every day, and night just to say goodnight to you and when he got off his shift at work. “He’s super sick with a fever today so I had to cover for him, the winter is so brutal this year,” the gentleman commented. You nodded and replied quickly,” Thank you so much! I’ll order something later!” You dashed out the door, feeling your heart pound, hoping that Hyungwon was alright. It was not like him to miss work and school, you know him to be a dedicated person to any aspects of his life, even to you.
You feel the cold winds gashing at your face as you lightly jog to his apartment complex. You rush up the stairs to find his door and tried your best not to aggressively bang on it in a spur of the moment’s worry. The door slowly opened and you saw Hyungwon peek out from behind. “Are you okay?! I heard you were sick, sorry if I seem frantic because I was, I was just worried…” you rambled on. A small smile creeped out from the corner of his lips. In a raspy voice, he responded,”I’m fine (Y/N), it’s just your average fever. It means a lot that you came to check up on me though. He started to hobble back to the couch that he was relaxing on when his knees buckle. You rushed in to save him from collapsing on the floor. You slowly set his body down onto the couch and pulled the covers on top of him in a worried frenzy. “God Hyungwon, you’re not alright,” you mumbled as you rushed to go grab a cold washcloth for his heated forehead. He seemed to be passed out at this point and you sigh in relief at your decision to make sure he was surviving through the fever. You gently place the washcloth on his forehead and gazed upon his immaculate features.
You smiled as you mumbled to yourself. “You’re so gorgeous, I couldn’t imagine my life without you. You’ve made my life so bright…” you trailed off as you ran your fingers through his hair. You undoubtedly fell in love with him as a whole for his personality, features and ethics. You never thought you’d be in a position where you were taking care of him, because for a long time it felt as if he was taking care of you. You whispered under your breath, “I guess I do love you, Hyungwonnie.” You didn’t mind skipping a study session for him, just to make sure he was recovering. While being lost in your thoughts, you felt a large soft hand ghost over yours. “You’re too sweet (Y/N). I as well, love you too. Sorry I couldn’t get you your caramel macchiato today, I promise I’ll make it up to you after my fever goes away.” You felt a blush creep towards the surface of your skin. He had heard you. “I- I’m sorry, this was a terrible time for you to hear that, just ignore everything I said!” you mumbled flusteredly. His lips tugged upwards as he opened his eyes to gaze at your adorable worried stare. “Please be mine (Y/N), you’ve done so much for me. You keep me going everyday,” he confessed. You practically sobbed at this point. “Of course, but just relax and focus on yourself right now. Seeing you so ill makes me feel so helpless,” you plead. He squeezed your hand as you gently pecked him on the cheek. “I’ll be the one to make you the caramel macchiato this time,” you mused as you savoured the moment with your now boyfriend, only stressing for his health and nothing else.

“Hi, Ethan?” He sneered at me. “It’s been four long years and all I get is a Hi Ethan?”
I rolled my eyes in response as I stepped closer to him with my arms opened wide, “I forgot how dramatic you were.”
It was his turn now to roll his eyes as he pulled me into his embrace. It felt odd at first, but I slowly eased into the hug as a sense of warmth and familiarity filled me from within. I hadn’t realized how much I needed someone to hold me until now.
“How have you been?” he whispered into my hair.
“I’ve been… okay,” I replied as I pulled away.
We locked eyes for a moment; I watched as he searched my eyes, trying to figure out whether I was being sincere or not. If I were to be honest, I have been okay these last four years but seeing Grayson again and witnessing him get engaged broke a part of my mended heart once again.
“What are you even doing here Y/N?” he asked as he tilted his head to the side.
“I should be asking you that! This is my hometown, not yours. But that’s a story for another day,” I replied, giving him a small smile. “You should get back inside, they’re probably waiting for you.”
Ethan shrugged at my response and held out his hand, “I doubt it. Plus, I’m over this party already, come with me?”
I raised my eyebrow at him as I looked back and forth between his hand and his face, “Say what now?”
“Come on Y/N/N,” Ethan said exaggeratedly. “Let’s go somewhere.”
“Go where exactly?”
“Anywhere,” he replied with a soft smile. “Let’s go make up for some lost time.”
I looked back down to his extended hand for a moment and clasped my own around his, “Okay… lead the way E.”
—————————————————————
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON’T LIKE PANCAKES ANYMORE?” My eyes widened and I looked around the diner as Ethan went on with his rant.
I turned back to him and crossed my arms over my chest, “Are you done?”
He shook his head profusely, the shock and hurt evident on his face, “Not even close.”
I rolled my eyes in response, “I just prefer waffles now. There’s nothing wrong with that.”
“There’s everything wrong with that!”
“The waitress is going to come and be weirded out if you don’t stop”
He shrugged and slumped further down into his seat, “You never answered my question you know.”
“Which one?” I answered as the waitress set our food and drinks down. We both thanked her before she walked away.
“What are you doing here? Why were you even at that party?”
I looked out the window beside us and nervously played with my fingers, “I live here now.” I sighed before continuing, “I work for an Event Planning and PR company. My boss was in charge of planning that event, but she couldn’t make it tonight so she asked me to go in her place and make sure everything went smoothly.”
He nodded, signaling me to continue.
“I now realize that our clients were Amber’s parents. They hired us to plan their daughter’s surprise birthday party but I didn’t know… I never thought…”
I felt Ethan put his hand over my own and give it a light squeeze. Looking back at him, I gave him a half-smile. “It doesn’t matter though. I’m fine.”
“Of course it matters Y/N, you’re allowed to not be okay,” He replied softly.  “Especially if you still love hi-"
“I don’t,” I cut him off. “It’s been four long years. I’ve moved on and so has he. We both have different lives now.”
He looked down at his cup for a moment and took a deep breath before meeting my gaze once again, “And are you happy?”
To say his question took me by surprise was an understatement, and what worried me most was my inability to answer him. Was I not happy? I was over what happened in the past, I have a new life now. So why does it feel like I’m trying to convince myself instead of him?
“Of course I am E, I love the life I’m living now. Plus, I’m around my family again. Things couldn’t possibly be better.”
He narrowed his eyes at me and I could tell he didn’t believe me one bit, but he chose not to push it further. Instead, he gave me a sly smirk before cutting off a large piece of my waffle and eating it.
I instantly stood up and smacked him in the head before taking a large gulp of his milkshake. We both looked at one another and raised our hands in defeat before laughing.
The remainder of the time was spent messing with one another and filling each other in on what else we had missed out on. I had to admit, I had missed having Ethan in my life. We had always been close but the last few days I had spent with him before leaving, we had gotten even closer. He was my best friend. It hurt to walk away and cut off all contact with him as well.
After paying for our meals, we made our way out of the diner and walked in silence. It wasn’t an awkward type of silence though but a comfortable one.
“Are we going to go back to not talking to each other after this?” Ethan asked, a frown forming on his face.
“I’m not sure,” I replied as I kept walking. “As long as you don’t eat my waffles if we see each other again, I think we can keep in contact.”
He looked down to me and nudged my shoulder playfully, “I can’t make any promises.”
I stuck out my tongue at him and walked to the passenger side of his car before getting in. The whole drive back to the venue was spent making small talk and joking around with one another. I was sad this bittersweet night was coming to an end. It felt good to have someone from my past in my life once again, even if it was for a little bit.
Once Ethan parked, he looked over to me and gave me a soft smile, “Talk to you soon?”
I gathered my things and opened the door before glancing back to him, “Yeah. Talk to you soon.”
—————————————————————
Once I got to work the next morning, the first thing I saw as the elevator doors opened was Mia’s assistant Emily looking rather anxious.
“Hey Ems, you okay?” I asked as I walked with her to my office.
“Yes! It’s just Mia has been calling you for the past half an hour but you weren’t answering,” she explained
I gave her a look of confusion and looked at the clock on the wall as I set my stuff down on my desk, “Sorry, I must have had my phone on silent but why is she worrying so much? I’m early today.”
Emily waved off my reply and shook her head, “No, no, that’s not why she was calling. You guys got a last minute client, they’re in the meeting room right now.”
“Oh crap,” I said as I quickly gathered my things. “I gotta go. Thank you, Emily, I owe you one!”
I quickly ran out of my office and made my way to the conference. I could hear Mia discussing details of the event from a distance and composed myself before entering.
“Good Morning! Sorry for keeping you all waiting,” I quickly stopped in my tracks as my eyes met those of a familiar hazel-eyed man.

“Y/N, this is Mr. and Mrs. Holloway. I believe you guys met yesterday at their daughter’s birthday event.” Mia said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
“Y-yeah, nice to see you both again” I replied shakily as I slowly made my way to the seat next to Mia.
“And of course, this is their daughter Amber, and her fiancée Grayson” Mia added. “They actually got engaged last night at the party, were you there to see it?”
“Mhm,” I said, looking down at my hands. “Congratulations to you both.”
“Mom, I think we should start heading out. Look at our other options first,” I heard Amber say with a hint of nervousness in her voice.
“That’s nonsense honey” Mrs. Holloway replied.
“But Mom-“
“Sweetie, trust me on this.” Mrs. Holloway insisted. “Look, the reason we are here is because we were so impressed with how the event turned out last night that we want you and Y/N to plan our daughter’s wedding!”
My head snapped up as she finished her request and the first thing I did was look at him. I felt my body slowly begin to shut down as I processed everything. I thought back to the proposal from the night before, my goodbye to him four years ago, but most importantly; I thought about how happy we had been once upon a time before our relationship came to an end. And as I pictured myself planning his wedding to her, it felt as if my heart was slowly becoming undone once again. The wounds that had healed with time were slowly coming back, the pain increasing tenfold.
“You okay Y/N?” I looked over to Mia and saw her looking concerned, “You’re looking a little pale there.”
I nodded and forced a smile, “Yeah. Yes, sorry. Don’t mind me. I’m just a little out of it.”
“Well we don’t want to take up too much of your time,” Mrs. Holloway said. “I would really like it if both you and Mia helped us make this a wedding to remember! What do you say, honey, are you in?”
I don’t know what took over me in that very moment. Maybe it was me thinking with my head instead of my heart. Maybe it was the fact that I felt I had something to prove. Or maybe, just maybe, this is the end that’s been long overdue for this chapter of our lives to finally come to a close.
In the end, whatever it was, it drove me to say, “Yes, I’m in.”
Hope you enjoyed reading part four. Let me know what you think so far. And I promise I’ll try my best to have part five up soon! Love you guys!

You were running in the underground tunnels to make it on time to the metro, which would take you to the station close to your university. You could always wait for the next one, but you were going to be late if you had to stay waiting too long – usually you weren’t in such a hurry, but now you had slept too long unfortunately.
You lived rather far from your school, so walking didn’t even cross your mind and London streets were far too busy for taking a bus, even though it would have been a little more comfortable. You hated undergrounds, everyone were going to the work and school at this time, it was always super full and anxious and uncomfortable, though it was the fastest way to travel anyway.
You came there right when the metro arrived in front of you and before you went in, you waited the earlier passengers to come out first. All the seats were taken, so you had to stand and keep your balance by holding the metal pole, changing the song playing from your headphones to another in Spotify.
The next stop a familiar figure appeared from the doors, who you didn’t first notice. He came to stand next to you, surprised seeing you there since this was the first time. You were so concentrated on your music, that you got very startled when you felt someone’s finger tapping on your shoulder. You immediately turned around and sighed a relief, when you recognised him.
Neither of you didn't say much to each other really, besides a friendly and polite 'hello' and 'good morning' and a shared, short smile. You continued listening to your music and the metro continued its journey. The next stop though, a very little people walked out and a lot more came in. The metro was already almost full, there wasn't so much space left to everyone anymore, but still more and more people came in and people were pushing against you from every possible direction, you not being able to move anywhere anymore.
Loki was forced to lean his back on the wall and because there was literally no room to move in any direction, you were automatically pressed against your professor’s chest. He kept you still by holding your shoulders, so you wouldn’t bump at other people around you and lose your balance. It was by far the most uncomfortable journey you had experienced in school mornings and there would be atleast 10 or 15 minutes journey left.
But for professor Laufeyson you made the situation even worse. Without you even noticed, unintentionally you managed to rub your ass just right against his crotch, making him gasp quietly and hold his breath for a while, keeping his gaze at the ceiling and not daring to look at you. He wanted to push your body off of him, but there was nowhere to push.
Of course you were really beautiful and especially wearing a shorter dress didn’t help the case at the moment. This is highly inappropriate, Loki thought, getting aroused by his own student – especially in a metro. He tried to keep the dirty thoughts about you away, but they kept rushing back to his mind almost immediately. The sweet scent of you travelled into his nose, it was probably the shampoo of yours, but it kept the bad and sweaty smell, which was coming from the other passengers, mostly away.
The metro stopped again, now even more people coming in and you grew more and more anxious of the uncomfortable atmosphere. You were pushed even harder against Loki, when the woman in front of you was forced to come closer. People could fucking just wait for a later metro for fuck’s sake, you thought, irritated and super anxious.
Then you felt something against your butt, which had been there already while, but now it became much more visible. Your eyes widened, when you realised, what it was, and your heart started hammering against your chest faster, burning heat rising on your cheeks.
Oh my god. You weren't sure, if you dared to make an eye contact with your professor behind you, but soon you glared at him over your shoulder, just to see how red his entire face was. When he noticed, that you were directly looking at him, he let go off of your shoulders quickly and looked away.
You bit your lip – you had to admit, you had always considered professor Laufeyson, your literature teacher, extremely hot and sexy, but you never thought actually ending up in a situation like this.
He looked like he was trying to say something to you, but was completely at loss of his words, and managed to just clear his throat. You turned your head away from him and bit your lower lip, a smirk spreading on your lips. You shifted your legs a little, taking a better position at your place, ”accidentally” at the same time rubbing yourself against his boner a few times more, which made him hold a deep moan from coming out of his mouth.
You were aroused as hell at the moment just of the imagine and thought of actually getting naked with him and having sex with your professor.
Just two more stops, before we’re there, Loki thought quietly in his mind. How could he walk to the campus with his cock harder than ever before?!
You felt his hot breath against your neck shaking a little and becoming a little unstable. You just thought about the school day you would be having today and you knew already, how awkward it was going to be. But truthfully, you were quite enjoying the situation and how flustered you could actually make your professor.
And finally, when the station, where you were getting off, came, most of the people around the two of you left as well so you didn’t have to forcefully push yourself through the other passengers. You and professor walked side by side in the tunnels, not saying even a word to each other, and you noticed he was walking his briefcase in front of the awkward tent in his pants.
You reached the moving staircase and went to stand in front of him two stairs higher. You felt Loki’s stare on your ass, which honestly was the purpose. It didn’t take long to walk to the university from the metro station and you made to the classroom just couple of minutes before the lecture started. Professor Laufeyson, on the other hand, walked very fast to his office instead before he would join you and the other 30 students there.
You walked to your place on the second row and sat down, legs and hands shaking too much, face still blushing. A few people were looking at you while you entered to the classroom, but you ignored the stares.
People started whispering to each other, everyone confused, since your professor wasn't there yet – usually he was never late, but now you knew the reason. It took about five to ten minutes until professor Laufeyson came to start the lesson. He closed the door quickly after him, carrying bunch of papers in his arms.
”Sorry i'm late, i had to…” professor started, thinking about his words and then looking directly at you – keeping his eyes on you just a few seconds too long, ”…arrange a few things.” All the students were satisfied with his answer and didn't obviously read too much on it, but his presence right now made you feel very uncomfortable.
Maybe i could say that i'm feeling quite ill and he would let me go home, you thought. But he would know for sure, why you would decide to escape this situation. The lecture continued as normal and you actually managed to concentrate on the actual studying, but once in a while you got distracted and couldn't help but look at Loki from head to toe, admire his looks and how he would look like without his black suit.
Sometimes he would catch you looking at him and biting your lip, and like reading your thoughts, a smirk spread on his face, which made you quickly look away and start writing notes again on your notebook.
When the class was finally finished, you packed your bag and basically ran out of the door.
* * *
After a few hours, it was time for lunch, so you walked to the dining room. You were trying to find a free table where to sit, until heard Wanda and Pietro calling your name and motioning to come sit with them. The twins were the closest friends you had in the university. You sat next to Pietro, you were absolutely starving – you hadn't had time to have a proper breakfast earlier in the morning before you left your home.
”So, did you get your essay for history done already?” Wanda asked before taking a sip of her water.
”Yeah, i managed to finish it at like 1am though. I had already asked more time for it earlier and even though professor Rogers is very understanding, i wouldn't dare to ask if i could return the essay still a little later. So, luckily i got it done. I don't know about its quality though, but if i get a C it's more than enough,” you said and laughed.
”I'm sure you did very well,” Pietro comforted you.
You continued chatting and eating and laughing, but after a while you saw your literature teacher sitting at the table in front of yours, getting a direct eye contact with him once again, since Wanda sat in front of Pietro and not you. Loki was sitting with professor Rogers and professor Banner, but concentrating his gaze on you, examining your features while Rogers and Banner quietly argued about something – Wanda and Pietro were talking about some uncomfortable family dinner in the weekend and having to go to one of their relative's wedding, honestly you didn't exactly know for sure since your attention was elsewhere now.
Loki was chewing his food, while never leaving his eyes from your face and body. You tried to avoid looking back at him and you deeply hoped, that this time you could prevent yourself from blushing. But when you finally looked at him, you noticed him quietly chuckling and grinning at you, then turning his attention back to the history and science teacher.
After you had eaten, you stayed sitting with your friends since you were walking together to the next lesson and neither of them hadn't quite finished eating yet. Professor Laufeyson kept curiously glancing at you, you were dying to know what he was thinking about at the moment. You decided to get up and take your dishes away, telling Wanda and Pietro you would wait in front of the classroom you were supposed to go next.
When you walked towards the door leading back to the corridors out of the dining room, you made sure to sway your hips a little bit too much, as in hope that Loki would keep his eyes at your back.
God, you wanted him so badly right now.
* * *
Soon your last lecture was over and you could finally head back to home and relax for a while. You said goodbyes to Wanda and Pietro and started to walk towards the doors which would lead outside. You pulled your phone out of your pocket and started texting to your sister while walking ahead, not really directly looking where you were going. When you turned around a corner in the corridors, someone's chest bumped onto you, which got you so startled that you almost fell backwards and dropped your phone. But the incomers reflexes were better than yours, so he catched you and helped you to get your balance back.
”I'm sorry,” you muttered and was about to just ignore and quickly walk past him, but his hand had found its way on your waist. You looked at the man's face and your eyes widened.
Oh shit.
Professor Laufeyson looked at you curiously with narrowed eyes. There was nobody else in the corridors at the moment, everyone had probably already left home by now, except the two of you. And you didn't even properly think, what you said next, but couldn't just help but accidentally blurt the words out of your mouth.
”So, enjoyed the journey on your way to the university?” you asked casually and raised your eyebrows. Being this close to him once again made your heart pound faster and you started feeling becoming very, very aroused already. The expression on his face didn't really change by your words, except hearing a quiet chuckle coming from his throat.
”I would be lying, if i said i didn't,” professor answered truthfully. Both of you were quiet for a moment, just looking in each other's eyes. You bit your lower lip, eyes flickering quickly from his eyes to his lips and back to his eyes again. He obviously noticed that and leaned to whisper in your ear with a low voice, ”are you in a hurry?”
You felt his hot breath against the right side of your head, making you shiver a little. You didn't say anything back at first, just furrowed your eyebrows, confused.
”Not really,” you managed to say quietly.
”Well, i'm heading to my office to correct some more essays before going home,” professor said, his hand now sliding its way up against your back, under your top. ”If you want to join me, you know where to find me.”
Loki pulled his head away from yours, keeping an eye contact for a while, until letting go off you. Loki put his hands in his pockets, shoulder gently bumping against yours while he walked past you. You stood there still for a while, looking at his figure walking away. Then your hand flew to touch your back, where Loki's fingers had been just a moment ago, noticing he had just unclipped your bra.
Professor had already vanished from the corridor you were still standing and you then, after just a few seconds of shock, decided to walk after him. His office was two floors above you, but you run the stairs fast up and soon reached the door of professor Laufeyson's office.
You took a deep breath and knocked on the door, but then just to realise, that obviously he had left it open to you. When you came in, an amused grin spread on Loki's face. He was leaning against his table, arms crossed, as if sure that you would eventually run to him.
”Lock the door,” Loki ordered and nodded towards the door right behind you. You did as told and then put your bag on the floor and faced him. Both of you stood still for a few seconds, couple of meters away from each other, waiting which one of you would make the first move, until professor Laufeyson started opening his belt.
You pulled your shirt off, throwing it on the floor with your bag, and walked towards him, taking now your already opened bra off, letting Loki see your bare breasts. You could see deep lust in his eyes, when he cupped your left boob, starting to roll his thumb on your nipple, letting a moan out of your mouth.
But you didn't have time for this, burn and need pulsing in your core, your pussy getting more and more wet every passing second. Then, as if reading your thoughts, everything happened so quickly and suddenly his shirt, pants and well, everything were gone – as well as all your clothes too.
You were now standing in front of your professor, completely naked. Loki already had his finger rubbing your pussy, an amused smirk spreading on his lips.
”Now now, what do we have here?” he whispered. ”So wet for me already, pet? You enjoyed watching me in the class, hmph?” Loki hissed and pushed one finger slowly inside you, keeping it there still, not moving yet.
You widened your eyes a little – so he really had noticed your stares. Loki took that as a yes, starting to pull his thin but long finger out, just to take two fingers inside your vagina, making you whine from pleasure, resting your hands on his shoulders.
Loki pumped his fingers slowly in and out, not letting his eyes off your face in any time, until noticing you would already come soon, sliding his hand off of you, making you give him murderous looks.
Professor Laufeyson pulled you to lean against his table, his hard cock against your thigh, making your heart race just a little faster by the sight of him. He had his hand on your waist, pulling you closer, and other hand lifting your leg, motioning you to put it around his hips.
”You're sure you want to do this?” Loki asked once more, trying not to do anything against your own will, cupping your other cheek and making you to look at him. You nodded, probably too eagerly. You wanted this more than anything, that's for sure. Loki already had his cock against your entrance, just waiting for your sign to push himself into you.
”I need you, professor,” you said between your teeth, looking him in the eyes. And just a second after your words, he finally slammed his cock into you and it hurt much more than you expected, making you scream very loudly – but you assumed, that nobody would be there to hear anyway.
No, you weren't a virgin, you had slept with your ex-boyfriend couple of times, but he had been nowhere near as huge as Loki was. God, you didn't even know someone could be so big and still – though barely – fit inside your wet vagina. Honestly, Loki was so much better at sex than your ex-boyfriend had ever been.
Loki didn't let you to get used to his size, immediately starting to move. He pushed himself inside you harshly again and again, fastening his pace after every thrust. The table behind you was shaking like hell, but neither of you cared, you accidentally even dropped a few pens and papers and some other, little stuff down on the floor. In every hard thrust he managed to hit the exactly right spot inside you, making you a huge whimpering mess.
”F-fuck, professor,” you cried, keeping your eyes closed for a while and throwing your head back, when Loki started sucking your neck. This would definitely leave bruises for tomorrow and give questionable looks maybe, but you could always try to cover them with some makeup and a scarf, you reasoned. Atleast you deeply hoped so, but this felt too fucking good to make you actually care about it right now. He slowered his pace just a little, but slamming into you harder than before and still creating marks on your sensitive skin.
Loki threw his head back now too, moaning. ”You're so damn tight, Y/N,” he moaned. ”You feel so good around my cock.”
Both of you were panting like hell by now and you were so close to the edge, but you couldn't manage to get the words out of your mouth. Loki sensed that you would probably come soon though, so he quickly pulled out of you, making you groan and whine. You were confused, did you do something wrong?
But then he harshly grabbed your hand, walking to sit on his chair and pulling you with him. Loki didn't waist any more time, just grabbed your ass and guided his cock against your entrance, burying himself inside you once again, both of you moaning deeply. You were riding him as fast as you could, like it was your last day on Earth. Loki helped you by keeping his fingers buried in your ass cheeks, guiding you up and down.
It didn't take long, until Loki spilled his juices inside you, moaning your name and his grip tightening on your hips. Your orgasm waved through your exhausted body right after him, the huge pleasure making your limbs weak and you collapsed against your professor's chest. He had his arms around your waist, both of you trying to catch your breath, before getting up. You still rested your hands on Loki's shoulders, panting and looking at him.
”Wow,” you whispered, not knowing what to say. ”That was – wow,” you laughed and he smirked too. ”Not the way i expected i would finish my school day.” You got up and started to dress yourself, grabbing your bra and panties, but then suddenly Loki was right behind you, resting his hand on your stomach and taking your bra and underwear off of your hands.
”I'm keeping these,” professor murmured in your ear with an extremely low voice, making you feel something starting to burn in your womanhood once again, making you take a deep breath. He then slided his hand down towards your pussy, starting to roll his thumb on your clit – hardly. You moaned and just when Loki was about to push one finger inside you, the two of you heard a phone starting to ring. It was apparently Loki's phone and for a while he thought, if he should just ignore it, but it could be something important.
You started collecting the rest of your clothes from the floor and putting them on, frustrated because of the interrupt, while Loki answered the call. Loki managed to put his underwear, pants and socks on while he was making a conversation with the person who called, a serious expression on his face.
You opened the door and before you left his office, you glanced over your shoulder to Loki. ”I guess i'll see you tomorrow then. Good luck with the essays, professor,” you whispered quietly while he was talking on the phone, and with one seductive wink you disappeared from his sight.
Professor Laufeyson looked after you and grinned like a madman, almost forgetting that the principal himself wanted his full attention right now.
* * *
The next morning you didn't cross paths in the underground with Loki, he was already in the class preparing the lesson, when you stepped in and quickly found your seat.
Professor handed your essay back at you, smirked and winked – so that nobody else saw though –, which made your breath quicken. You looked at the paper and widened your eyes. He had corrected these given you a C – which was pretty accurate and your average level. But now he had put a new grade there with a different pen, B+. You gasped, confused why he would change it, but then you realised it pretty quickly and felt your cheeks growing hotter.
He had also given you a smaller separate piece of paper, which said,
”If you want to raise your grade a little more, you can always come by my office to negotiate about it.
-Professor L.”
And, so you went.

Her favourite customer
Modern AU, First Meeting.
In which Lily has a summer job and James is out on a summer holiday with his mates.
Originally I also wanted to include their date, but it took ages to write this much so I would have never got this one shot done on time. :/
Inspiration drawn both from that road trip we once did to Swanage and Poole and from that retro cafe I visited with a friend in Camden in London.
It was a perfect summer’s day, the kind on which everyone flocked to the beach. Lily would have loved to join that crowd – there hadn’t been any beaches in Cokeworth and no summer trips to the coast either for the Evans family.
Out from the window, Lily could actually see the ocean glimmering in the sunlight. Even after a week, the sight made her heart soar with giddy excitement.
At 20 years old, Lily Evans was finally spending her summer on the Dorset coast.
The only downside?
She wasn’t on a holiday.
Wrenching her gaze from the window, Lily turned to the approaching customer and summoned a serviceable smile.
“Good day, how can I help you?”
Of course, working all summer wasn’t all bad.
For one – and the most obvious thing – the money would be very welcome. The tuition wasn’t exactly cheap.
Another point in favour of Lily’s summer job was its scenic location right on the quay. Lily wouldn’t get tired at looking at the sea any time soon.
And then there was the job itself. It was in an ice cream parlour that was decorated in a retro 50’s style. It was a lovely shop and Lily felt fully at home.
It also helped that she was friends with one of the managers: Mary MacDonald, Lily’s friend from uni had helped her get the job and had invited Lily to stay with her family in Dorset for the holiday.
All things considered, Lily was sure she would have a great summer in store, even if she wouldn’t be able to go out to the beach on days like this.
Soon enough, she was proven right.
Lily was clearing and wiping down tables, her back to the door when the bell chimed.
The four of them entered in a burst of laughter, carrying that type of loud easy conversation groups of young men often seemed to engage in; full of taking the mickey out of one another.
Lily straightened herself and turned, the smile already in place – but the corners of her lips twitched as she saw them all crowding the doorway, stopped in their tracks and craning their heads.
The guy with a man-bun and tattooed arm let out an appreciate whistle. The short, plump guy just stared, his watery eyes wide. The guy with glasses and hair that somehow managed to simultaneously be messy and stylish, was craning his head as he looked around. The guy in the lead, with sandy-brown hair and a complexion even paler than Lily’s, was looking very smug.
Their eyes met, and Lily realised he looked familiar just a moment before he turned to smile at his friends.
“I told you this place was great. Pete can get his milkshake, Sirius can get his coffee, and we can enjoy our respective drinks and snacks in style.”
Lily noticed that the messy-haired guy was now looking directly at her and flashed her smile again.
“Welcome,” she told him and the other new customers. She picked up the dishes and took them into the kitchen.
When she returned, the four blokes were up on the counter, the familiar-looking sandy-haired one giving his order (chocolate chip and mint) to Mary.
Lily stepped up to help, smiling to the other guys in the group that were queueing up.
“What can I get you?” she asked.
The plump one scrutinised the board behind the counter with a studious frown, before settling on the Manhattan Milkshake.
“Coming right up!” Lily promised, then started working the machine.
The weight of a lingering gaze made the spot between her shoulder blades tingle, but Lily ignored that.
She set the finished Milkshake on the counter before her customer and gave him his change for a tenner.
The messy-haired guy was next, lingering over the display of the various ice cream flavours.
Lily discreetly admired his jawline and stifled a giggle when the guy had to clear his throat before placing his order.
The tips of his ears had flushed pink.
It was adorable.
And when he finally did meet her gaze, Lily noticed his eyes were hazel.
She dutifully scooped up the flavours he’d ordered and offered him the ice cream bowl with a smile.
He thanked her, paid for the treat and went to join his friends at a window table.
Mary immediately shuffled closer to Lily and nudged at her ribs.
“Now there’s a group of fit guys,” she whispered to Lily.
Lily bit her lip to quiet a bubble of laughter but nodded her agreement.
They were fit, but more importantly, they were fun.
As they enjoyed their coffee, ice cream and milkshake, bits and pieces of their conversation floated back to Lily. She knew she should not eavesdrop, but her ears strained to catch more of their joking chatter.
With them talking and laughing over at the window table, the whole shop seemed that much livelier and the smile that stayed on Lily’s lips was genuine.
She was still smiling as she picked up the dishes from the table the guys had occupied. They had chimed loud thank yous when they had made their way towards the door, the short plump one even waving to Lily and Mary as they left.
They were back the next day, and the day after that and again the day after that. Every time the guys came in, their presence brightened up the whole place.
Mary and Lily both couldn’t help sneaking glances at the table by the window that was becoming their regular spot. Both of them also got into a habit of chatting, joking and laughing with the guys as they took and filled their orders.
Lily noticed that the guy with the glasses always seemed to fidget; running his hand through his hair. She wondered if he was nervous or simply had trouble deciding which flavour he’d want – so far he’d been trying out a new one every day.
And then, roughly a week later, the guy with the glasses and the mussed up hair came to the store alone.
  The bell chimed its familiar welcome when James stepped into the ice cream parlour. He squeezed his hand into a fist; his fingers had been trembling as he’d pushed open the door and now they were itching to jump to muss his hair.
The moment he saw the red-haired girl behind the counter, he was flooded with relief while his stomach threw a couple of anxious somersaults.
The girl looked up and smiled as she saw him – and James’ heart skittered madly.
Yup, he really fancied this one. Probably more than he’d fancied any girl in his life.
James walked over to the counter, glad that he’d decided to try again after his earlier failed attempt.
“Hullo,” the girl greeted. “No friends with you today?”
“No, just me,” he replied and managed a grin that was felt only a little twitchy.
“Know what you’re gonna try today?”
“I’ll know soon enough,” James said, pausing before the selection of flavours. He contemplated them for a while, flushing when he felt the weight of her gaze on him.
He looked up and met her eyes. They were such a brilliant green they took his breath away.
James cleared his throat. “I think I’ll go with a scoop of butterscotch.”
She flashed him a quick smile in reply. “Coming right up!”
James waited while she scooped up the ice cream. She was wearing a 50’s inspired dress today. The kind with a small waist and a flaring skirt.
James didn’t know much about dresses, but he liked that she dressed the part, going along with the retro 50’s theme of the ice cream parlour.
And he definitely appreciated the way the dress sat on the curves of her body.
“Here you go, one scoop of Butterscotch!”
She set the bowl before him on the counter.
James had to swallow to wet his throat before he could thank her.
He handed her a fiver and told her to keep a change.
Then, instead of heading to the table he usually occupied with his friends, he chose one of the barstools propped by the end of the counter.
The girl raised her eyebrow when he sat down, but didn’t offer any comment.
James sat there for a moment, sampling his ice cream and gathering the courage to talk to her.
In the end, she beat him to it – which was both a relief and cause for frustration.
“So…” the girl drawled, leaning against the counter, “what’s the verdict?”
James looked up. “I like it. It’s sweet but not too sweet.”
“Glad to hear.”
“Then again, I’ve liked every flavour I’ve tried so far.” James shrugged. “Can’t really go wrong with ice cream, in my opinion.”
She grinned.
James’ breath caught and he nearly choked on his ice cream.
She turned her attention to a newly arrived customer and James fought down the errant flutters.
When the new customer had gone to their table with the ice cream, James took the plunge.
“I’m James, by the way.”
“Nice to meet you, James. I’m Lily.”
“The pleasure’s all mine,” he told her.
The corners of Lily’s lips twitched. “Is it now?”
“Definitely,” James said and grinned.
“Well then.”
A short silence followed and James ignored his melting ice cream as he scrambled for something else to say. What had he planned to ask again? Oh, right.
“So, my friends and I are here on a holiday. Any recommendations for things to do or places to see?”
“Sorry, I’m not much help with that,” Lily replied with a grimace. “I’ve only been here three weeks myself and I haven’t got to explore much yet because I’m working on most days. You should ask Mary, though, she’s a local.”
James saw an opening. He hesitated only a fraction of a second before he dived into it.
“Or,” he said, trying to sound casual, “you could come to explore with me sometime when you’re free.”
She was smiling now, her eyebrows raised. “Could I?”
“Yes.” James cleared his throat. “I’d like it very much if you did.”
The silence lasted an eternity as James teetered on the treacherous edge of hope.
“I think I’d like that, too.”
Lily’s green eyes lit up with her smile and James’ heart swelled and soared.

This is a story that came into my mind. It's 5 years after graduation. Hope you guys like it. I am not able to post it at one go there is a limit.
I will post it in parts.
Always
Part 1
Are you sure he is guilty? The chief asked
Yes,
Han Joon Hwi replied
This was a complicated case taking up months to wind up.
A big shot actors involvement in drug cartel.
After Submitting the reports and the evidence to his chief, Prosecutor Joon Hwi walked towards his cabin
He is sure that the arrest warrant will be easily issued based on all the evidence he has found.
His phone chimed with a message, it was Kang Sol
Where are you?
Are you free?
He smiled,
Yes,
Where are you? he typed back
Hankuk Hospital.
Why,
he asked worriedly.
Getting flashbacks of their uni days when Kang Sol was known to forget to take care of herself while studying.
I came to meet Mi-ja unnie And Seung-jae oppa
Can you come here she asked
Yes I will be there in 15 mins
He reached the hospital in 10 min
Where are you he typed
Come at the ob-gyn department
Sure
he said not minding as Seung hung had rejoined the pediatrician department after his permanent expulsion from law school
The ob-gyn department was filled with expectant mothers and some, anxious excited and frightened parents .
He imagined himself some years down the line sitting in the same place with Kang Sol..
One day he said to himself.
There he saw Kang Sol conversing with a pregnant lady sitting on the bench.
Looking beautiful like always ,he said and swooped in and stole a kiss .
Kang Sol eyes flashed through varied emotions surprised, excitement a bit frighted, anxious and then contentment.
Joon Hai was confused by her reaction.
He made a note to ask her about it.
5 hours before
It's was a day off . Kang Sol reminded herself again and again. He had decided to rest today
She had fainted at the study hall twice this week .
Joon hwi had forced her to take an off today, threating her with severe concequences if she didn’t take time off today.
She rolled her eyes at that, tempted to contradict him just to enjoy his so called consequences she smirked . At the thought itself
She looked at herself in the mirror,
its been 6 years since she graduated law school she never thought that among all of her bach mates she kang sol A will be the one continuing her studies to become a judge .
Only after finishing 2 years at the judicial training institute she would be considered as a judge in south korea right now she was in her last semester Her exams were over and she was awaiting her results
Now she was working on her paper which sumarissed to 20 percent of her final grade she had 2 month to submit it.
But she couldn’t slag of as this paper was a huge deciding factor in her results.
As she will be cross questioned in front of the panel of professors on this paper.
What to do she thought ,
Each of her friends were busy in their own lives.
Even if Joon hwi had denied first he joined the prosecutors office a year after their graduation.
Seo was at prosecutors office too but posted in different city.
Kang Sol B had found a knack for teaching.
So she was now working as an assistant professor. Ye-Suel and Bok vi were human rights lawyers and we're currently not in the country.
She checked the time,
her mother was at work and Kang byeul was at Cram school.
So she decided to vist the hospital and get some vitamins for her fainting .
And visit Seung jae Oppa as well .
Ater listing out her aliments to the doctor she was waiting for the doctor to prescribe her medicine, he gave her a pregnancy kit and asked her to take the test.
While taking the test numerous thoughts passed through Sols mind
.
it can't be true we always use protection
We are not ready
Are we ready?
3 mins passed
And the kit showed 2 lines
You should visit the ob-gyn department to for confirmation the doctor said,.
She was in trans, there was no way she would do this without Joon hwi at her side she didn’t tell him the main reason and just asked him to come to herr …
Her mind was completely blank
Waiting in the line, waiting for Joon hwi
And then he came into front of her and just like that various doubts filled hermind,
I love him,
What if I am really pregnant?
Will he love the baby ?
What if he dosen't want the baby ?
What if he leaves me just like my bio father did?
Will I be alone?
No even then I will have my baby with me I will survive. He resolved in her mind
Joon Hwi is not my like my father.
He loves me I can see it in his eyes, she thought locking their eyes together.
Did you meet noona and hyung , he asked
No not yet.
Hyung is busy.
His surgery unexpectedly extended.
Let's meet noona together , after her shift Sol said
You didn’t study did you, Hwi asked
Nope she answered
Are you well Joon hai asked concerned
She dogged the question , and turning towards him said
I want to tell you something
Just then Her name was called.
Having no time to explain him anything Sol just showed the pregnancy kit that was in her pocket into his hand.
She couldn't let him go inside without any indication.
Wait what, joon Hwi said
Sol didn’t bother to answer his question she dragged him in the doctors cabin
So lets check , when was your last period as the doctor started asking question Jon hwi mind started calculating up till her last period,
As a second round judicial exam reliasition dawned upon him soon enough.
Congrats the doctor said it looks like you ar pregnant ,
Let's do a small check up for the baby.
When he looked beside him he saw that Sol was not at her seat .
Doctor had directed her at the bed
Sol was lying on the bed with the monitor scanning her stomach and soon the baby's heart beats boomed in the roon
Congrats the baby is of 7 weeks its preety early so take care .
The doctor asked them to visit in 4 weeks.
And they both walked out of the cabin.
Joon hwi are you alright. Sol called him, he didn't answer.
Joon Hai was panicking inside his mind
What if I am a shitty father
What if I break the baby trust
I don’t want the baby to be fatherless
What will happen if something happens to me
Doses kang sol want this baby
They sat in the car and went to their apartment in complete silence.
Sol wasa bit scared, were her fears coming true she wondered.
Han Joon Hwi she screamed as they entered their apartment.
Whole ride Joon Hwi had not uttered a single word she was on the verge of eruption her anger was out of bounds.
If he is going to walk out it is better that he did right now at this very moment , she decided her shoulders square redy to confront him.
Her shout brought him out of the stupor
Why are you crying he asked paincked sol hadn’t realized that she was crying her anger had turned her to tears just imagining the betrays from the her loved one
Don’t cry its not good for the baby
Why are you crying
Are you craving something
I will bring it , what do you want .
Why why are you standing , sit. He said his voice concerned and his eyes not leaving her stomach.
Sol was confused seeing his contradicting behavious.
He ws acting aloof a moment ago, then why is he concerned now.
Her anger rosed again.
But the Joon Hwis next words melted her heart.
Thank you he said with tears in his eyes Thank you soo much.
I love you he said Frequently kissing all over her face.
After all misunderstandings were cleared sol smacked him right in the head.
What was that for.
foe making me think that you dont want us
Joon hwi was hurt when she even inplied that she thought that he wanted to walk out on her and their baby
I love you I cant even think of leaving you , he said with sincerity in his eyes.
I am sorry for thinking about that. She apologized.
Joon Hai betrated himself he knew that at times His Sol was very Self conscious and she had some fears.
This episode must have reminded him of her father who left her mother as soon as he knew that she was pregnant.
Why did you take so much time to reply if youu were not having second thoughts she asked him.
Oh I was thinking about various things
Shifting to a bigger house,
Changing our diet not that you are pregnant we can't survive just on ramen ,
Adjusting our jobs for the baby,
Getting Marriage certificate
Baby names ,
Baby clothes etc.
You were thinking about all this Sol asked surprised,but it's too soon we have time. She said.
Baby the months will pass in a jiffy we should start moving and arranging everything for the baby after your paper.
