Flower Quest
Was playing Hollow Knight, and my love for over strategizing accidentally lead to this list. So have it, if you need it.
Flower Quest Checklist:
Drop down. At the chest turn left, then go past the first opening that’s above you. Kill the giant noise making bug blocking you, with magic preferably. Now go up.
Go left until you reach Xero, then go down.
Go down and left, then swim or dash across Blue Lake.
Say hi to charms lady. Very important step.
Go up to Gruz Mother Arena. As you go left, there will be enemies. Spitter guy, exploding creeper run guy, and angry flying one that explodes when it’s dead. Remember to dodge that.
Go left and kill jumper bug.
Keep going left, we are gonna go to City of Tears.
Take elevator and go right.
Jump above the enemies- go to the stag sign and dropping down then.
Dreaded Room 1: Go down the middle, stay safe. They take a while to attack, so if you be careful, you can dodge them before they even attack.
When you drop down, there will be enemies after the next drop. They are easy to avoid, just be careful.
Go left, there will be an angry bird on the ceiling.
Go up, beware the thorns that you can easily dash over.
Drop down, and go left, it’s all safe
Go left and down to enter…
Dreaded Room 2: When you drop onto the bounce mushrooms on the left, a bomb shooter shows up. Pause, then dash above it. Drop down, then slash balloon. Now, go to the spot on the left near the balloon.
Go left. Slash the mushroom from afar. Now go up and left, but when you go right again, there will be another mushroom. Just hit it. Now left and up.
Left, hit the balloon, with magic if needed. Be sure not to bonk your head on the tiny ones above you.
Queen’s station! A good time to switch off Grimmchild, or anything of the sort. When you are done, leave in the top left.
A brief cameo of Fog Canyon, be very very very careful. Go up on the far left, ignoring the big jellyfish. Go left as soon as you can (not the bankers room though).
Acid lake swim.
Dreaded Room 3: Once you get past that gate, all bets are off. The main run killers are probably those spike shooting guys, so be careful and try to shade dash through the spikes if you need to. Dodge them, and go above the spikes on the ground.
There’s a flying mantis, but if you run fast, it doesn’t even attack. Go left, and up.
This room we need to go down to the middle of. Look down before you drop, and you should be good. Dash to the left, and enter…
Dreaded Room 4: Practice this many times before the run, or this will be the room that kills you. Which hurts because it’s the last. Once you go left, there should be a grave.
