I'm pretty sure i've seen that video/image as well. maybe the photo i saw was different from the video you're talking about, but the photo at least contained heterosexual. which. y'know. is literally just the fancy word for straight. and even if it didn't jave heterosexual as an option, it could have been out of context recorded from a LGBTQ+ resource that was not meant for straight individuals.

second, i have literally never seen anyone who has "identified as a chair." and even if they did, more power to them? ain't hurting anyone, i've never seen anyone be im anyone's face about neogenders and all that. some people are just like "my relationship with gender is complicated and i don't know how to explain it from a human standpoint, but in a way this animal, inanimate object, or concept resounds with me in a gender-based context."

okay so, although i say i'm not writing it, i am going to be cagey about the details just in case i change my mind 😂 you never know, maybe one day i will be gripped with the urge to learn everything i'd need to know about inter miami [did i stop typing right here to go google when they're playing my hometown team? maybe. but obviously it's already all super pricey resale tickets because messi] to write this fic.

that being said... i think that the way their sports season would be on totally different schedules would create some interesting tension, like, matthew going feral in the playoffs while leon's just cruising through midseason with the soccer team, and then later leon's season winding down when matthew's new one is just starting in the fall. and then the big elephant in the room of how leon does not want to stay in north america while matthew is really focused on building a home and a future for himself in south florida, which is fine when they're just hooking up to start with but is absolutely fodder for some big drama down the road. i just think they would definitely hurt each other's feelings about it and that would be neat :)
