#i'll make more random characters

I checked out my favourite artist of all time on twitter a second ago and it reminded me of how i used to design so many characters for no reason at all just to forget about them a week later, a lot got deleted by i got files that are old and some more recent still around so here are some i still have ^^^^

It's crazy that I didn't know I was trans like years ago because all my sonas had those fuckass eyelash/eyeliner(???) things and large hoodies.

I had a moment where I drew my sona as a uuhhh aaaa a human woman????? GUH?!!!! but i stopped because i AM NOT ON HRT YET D:<<<<< and my own sona made me feel dysphoric and a bit scared because I WANT to look like that but also I have no clue what i'll look like in the future NOR want to set up big expectations for myself, i'm not a very fem fem i'll always be a pants, jacket & shredded converses alien creature

I stopped designing and doodling random characters because I kept getting mad at myself for not using them in more serious things like comics and not giving them fully details stories and identities, and like I KNOW that nobody cares, I'm well aware, it's fully a self happiness thing, like i don't feel like they are ever complete without some sort of from birth to death at 90 list of events and themes attached to them.

I think when I had that epiphany about a giraffe oc a while ago it was that repressed desire to just make them bitches that all came out as a long necked cowboy boots wearing demon (adorable yay!!) and you know what, I didn't WANT her to have any story to her, I just wanted her to exist, and i havent felt that way about a random character design in a long time and I think that's what I needed.

Kaveh angst fic idea where you were classmates with him in the Akademiya where you both became close friends and had a secret crush on each other. But your project partner confessed to him before either of you were able to. Kaveh felt guilty about rejecting her because she was already miserable about failing a class or something like that, so he went out with her. And then you couldn't bring yourself to talk to him anymore after seeing him with someone else and then circumstances caused you to lose contact with each other.

Dialogue writing is the only thing that comes naturally to me, which kinda sucks but when I get stuck on plot points I write the characters talking about the current situation as an 'exercise' I guess and a lot of the time it's like they figure it out for me

Thinking here... Naruto & Boruto's time skips have two glaring flaws that are really opposite to each other...

When we get to see Naruto after the 2,5 years time skip, he barely changed anything, he basically:

Learned the Oodama Rasengan (A bigger Rasengan... After 2,5 years... Wow)

Learned to break free from genjustu (??? Why don't they teach it in the Ninja Academy again???) (And yet, he fails when he needs to use it in an actual fight)

And Kyuubi's power got more unstable and he still barely controls it, getting to go four tales rather quickly now (What's ironic given that control this power was Jiraya's focus)

Meanwhile everyone around him seems to have got really stronger: Sakura became a really good Medic Ninja and got Super Strength, Shikamaru evolved his shadow jutsu into a more offensive and independent in combat version, Neji became a Jounin, Chouji got better with his Body Expansion jutsu and was already praticing to use its best version without special pills & Sasuke well... Got a lot of boost, he even had the Kirin already when he first met Naruto & Sakura again... EVEN KAKASHI WITH HIS KAMUI!

Naruto seems to have got stuck in time to then just later have an actual evolution.

Like, I understand Kishimoto probably wanted us to witness Naruto's evolution, (and probably hadn't thought of the concepts properly by that time) but he could at least have made Jiraya drop some stuff and pass to Naruto some basic principles (such as the Chakra Natures (again, why didn't they learn that in the academy???) and what Minato actually wanted to accomplish with the Rasengan or even the Sennin Mode)

In the end the time skip really makes Jiraya look a bad teacher as later in the anime Naruto learns & improves such abilities in record time compared to his predecessors, impressing his teachers...

Meanwhile, Boruto's time skip of 2 years got to give nothing to the secondary characters besides new outfits, otherwise they receive near to zero attention and if we can say they actually evolved, they evolved nothing beyond we could expect or even still got under we could expect.

On contrary to Boruto himself, who reached a new power level, far beyond the average (being able to easily subdue Code who was previously pointed as a huge threat), learned the Hiraishin no Jutsu, had a change of personality, trained with the Frogs from the Myoboku Mountain and even CREATED A FREAKING RASENGAN THAT USES NOTHING LESS THAN THE PLANET'S ROTATION ITSELF...

The brat got absurdely stronger out of our eyes...

So in short: Naruto got almost no evolution in his time skip, what's really disappointing as we look at how much everyone else evolved in the same time; Meanwhile, Boruto evolved so much that it feels a loss we couldn't witness it considering how nobody else seems have been able to follow the pace... Really two opposite issues

I just realized hal and barry's close relationship never surfaced that much outside of the comics

every cartoons, shows or movies never really explored their relationship that much and closest thing we got is the DCAMU and the lego dc movies (maybe dcshg too), I don't know what's the reason but damn no wonder halbarry fans are looking in the crumbs

some things in genshin fandom really just don't make sense to me. ie somehow the most controversial ships at least have canon material, whereas some ships are decently popular but literally only eyecandy with 0 substance. like why are you doing this, they don't even have mutual voicelines or story mentions, they've NEVER interacted, would have 0 reason to even in future storylines, the only reason you like them is because they're lesbians together or smth

Raine and Eda have sex (on screen)

Really short B plot where someone is forced to learn healing magic because Hunter nearly dies from drinking a human soda

Little goop Belos is in the middle of a really big speech, but then falls off of whatever he's standing on and promptly dies

Willow kills someone (also on screen)

Lilith looks directly at the viewer and says "I'm aroace" completely unprompted

Adrian gets really into the Good Witch Azura series and is really embarrassed about it

There is a wedding, but it's not Raine and Eda's. It's Odalia's and Kikimora's

Jacob Hopkins gets beaten up again (I don't know who would do it this time)

Darius and Eber have a whole conversation, but because no one else can understand what Eber is saying, they just have to sit there in confusion while they only understand half of it

Nooo I was innocently cleaning chapter 3 when I came with a new idea for how the events could go a bit differently during chapters 3 to 5 buuut it would be... idk, it's not necessary, it just gives more action/drama/suspense and also it might add too much spotlight on Ramsey? but I want to keep the focus somewhat even* between the characters and also I like how things are already, even if softer?

This is "The Doctor", a resident of the nightmare realm, who has been there long enough to have been almost completely corrupted. His face is normally just a pitch black void hole but sometimes you can see eyes and/or teeth in there

He wants to help people, but he's almost completely lost his mind, and can sometimes act a bit... Feral.

Surprisingly, the nightmare realm's usual effect of making people lose every memory of their life before they ended up here, hasn't managed to take away his medical knowledge. He's still very smart, despite everything.

Unfortunately he seems to scare off most people who he would otherwise have helped...
