I’m all out of Health / I Have no Health
Of course she does gain a bit of health back (temporarily) but I’m not sure how long it’ll last because ML and Daddy will go absolutely insane if she actually dies.
Summary
Our girl isekais into a novel where she’s the sickly daughter in the Daddy supporting character’s backstory. The OG!FL was basically a replacement goldfish for her. Now that our FL’s the one in control, she’s gonna do her best to GAIN MORE HEALTH and solve the whole conspiracy behind how her mother’s family (and several others) were accused of treason.
Tropes
- isekai-ed into a nearly-dead character
- OG!FL is somewhere there in the background
- child returns to be superior to their trash family WE LOVE TO SEE IT (except it’s not the FL but Daddy instead)
- what do you mean I’ve drastically changed the past the future FL and ML definitely still belong together (but not in the way you think)
FL - Ninenya Seiah
- protecc the cinnamon roll
- BFFs with the original FL, you love to see it
- i really hope baby girl gets healthy more permanently and gets a happy ending ;w;
ML - Count Kaiser Adelman
- has a problem with ~touching people~ because of backstory reasons
- of course he had a ~traumatic childhood~
- super special awesome ~*magic*~ user
- dandere
- his love language is feeding her horrible herbal concoctions made from monstrous animal parts (for health)
- I’ve only had Ninenya for a few months but if anything happened to her I would kill everyone in this room and then myself
Daddy - Lord Rubenio Seiah
- richer than you’ll ever be
- he loves his daughter SO MUCH ;w;
- smarter (and more devious) than he looks
- I just really love a hot overprotective dad
Rating: Yes PLEASE READ THIS
Despite the premise, it’s actually a pretty cute and fluffy story
Status (as of 3 Nov 2023)
Main story completed. (It was ongoing when I first wrote this post)
The ending was... kind of deus ex machina-y but hey, another dying MC series with a happy ending ;w; I’ll take it.
Side stories soon.
Same Same but Different
- The Villainess’s Days are Numbered
- Karina’s Last Days

insurance makes sense on a conceptual level but in reality insurance companies turn decently huge profits by a) relying on things not happening, which they mostly don't b) ensuring things mostly don't happen by exluding anything that might make "things happening" more likely and stacking it in their favour and then c) finding any excuse and loophole possible to not cover you if anything ever does happen
like. insurance would be good if it wasn't managed by insurance companies

I'm still not used to fully talking on here but I just have to talk for a minute about Sleep Token and Wembley.
They did fantastic. After touring so much this year, doing back-to-back shows, dealing with a band member having to take a leave of absence for most of their final tour, incorporating new changes to their routine and style, and with Vessel having hurt his voice during such a huge show, they did fantastic.
I watched along with Discord. Mostly lurked. And everything I saw from the effects on stage, the fun antics, the performances, the playing - guitars, bass, drums, the dancers, the choir - they did fantastic. And Vessel. I said it in chat that he doesn't need to hurt himself or his voice to earn the love of those who listen to his music, but he kept going. He sang, and pushed through when he had every right in the world to put a stop to the show and focus on his health. He kept on going while also giving to the crowd the chance to carry him through, and seeing everyone - from those on stage with him to the crowd to people in chat and what I saw on here - still loving him, loving them?
They did fucking fantastic, and I dare anyone tell me otherwise. As a community, we should be celebrating them despite any differences of opinion - being kinder and supportive of one another is literally everything they've shown with III's situation and in general. It's what so many of us showed back to them with the hand salutes for III and the marked ? on our hands during specific songs. Their new outfits have fan-made decals to them, for fuck's sake. They are absolutely, without a doubt, genuine about making everyone feel loved.
Look, I'm just a stranger on the internet at the end of the day but this band has come to mean so much to me since I found them, to the point where they've honestly kept me going some days - them and the wonderful people I've met through them - and I just need them to know that they did fantastic, their music still brings people together despite hiccups along the way, and regardless of any of those hiccups, they are so loved. Loved beyond belief.
The night didn't just belong to all of us at Wembley, but to them, too.

So much love and recognition to the people who don't know how they feel about recovering. To the people whose scars are fading away, and there's a sinking feeling, despite knowing that it's a good thing. To the people who miss when they were "worse," when they felt "broken." To the people who mourn losing their coping mechanisms, even the ones that were destructive, scary, or unpleasant. To those who feel guilty they're healing because their past self wasn't ready.
Whatever it is, there is nothing wrong with any of those feelings. It's a natural reaction, something you don't have ultimate control over. There is nothing shameful about yourself, and I admire the strength it takes to recognize how you feel, even the parts that do feel like the "wrong" reaction to a Good Thing.

I would honestly call the left's inability to accomodate people with morality-based OCD compulsions an accessibility issue at this point.

SHELLDON, initiate "Sensory Overload Protocol".
Early warning sings of sensory overload:
Feeling irritated or angry, short tempered
Feeling anxious or feeling the physical signs of a panic attack: difficulties with breathing, increased heartbeat, shaking/ twitching, ...
Inability to concentrate
Speaking becomes difficult (can't find words, it's getting hard to get words out, you struggle to find words to say)
Increased sensory distress, ringing in your ears
Dissociation, cloudy vision, feeling 'off', feeling frozen
Increased need to be alone/ isolated, feeling the need to run away
Temperature regulation issues (suddenly you're feeling way too hot or way too cold)
More stimming, maybe seeking pain to regulate (hitting yourself, skin picking, scratching on your legs or arms etcetera)
Headaches, pressure in your head
Muscle tension, feeling stiff
Need to cry
Feeling very exhausted
Important reminder: please take care of yourself & if you notice everything is getting too much - TAKE A BREAK.

Did I plan on adding to the reveal comics I made? No. Have a prequel to this one anyway. Fully from our little Hunter's perspective this time, so no heartbeats in this one (just me going wild with lines from the fic).
Protective idiot hellbent on the belief that all cryptids are evil is confronted with the fact that 1) their buddies are what they consider to be an "evil thing" and 2) have proven again and again that they care deeply about them and protect them right back. That won't cause cognitive dissonance for sure! (:
@naffeclipse Hi yes hello I am still SCREAMING about the newest chapter literally every time I think about it too much I have to get up and move (made drawing this a unique challenge LMAO) I need to physically shake someone about it. Finally time to drop the lie I am so not normal about this fic
Lines in the first panel:
"Speak no more."
"It looks just fine to me."
You've never detected an entity this strong before.
He stays back as you flick holy water throughout the rooms.
[...] a pitch black flat face, circled by deep blue and blood red jutting angles [...]
"I don't know what you got in you that keeps setting off my equipment, but it is strong."
Its remaining three eyes aren't upon you but on something above you.
"They don't think, they don't feel. They exist to terrorize and torment."
"I think you scared it."
"We are scarier than it."
Somehow, he closed the gap between the two of you in a moment.
[...] nothing short of another threat could make it give pause [...]
Second panel:
You're grateful Moon is here with you.
"Breathe," he says, warm as sunshine, calm as the new day.
Moon lifts you off the ground, clutching you close around the waist.
Moon's optics frantically flick to you, wide in alarm.
You are first aware of cool fingertips stroking the top of your hair.
"We will stay with you," he murmurs in a tender tone that makes your heart swell.
[...] your electronically recorded gasp causes Sun to bristle.
[...] expose your shoulder to Sun, who makes a rather deep, unpleasant noise when you both find angry red marks [...]
You have each other. You're not losing that.
"I assure you, little hunter, I'm not leaving your side."
[...] kept anchored by the safety of Sun's hand.
[...] you squint to make out Moon at your backside, holding you close.
"You take care of the scary things."
"You won't be near us."
By the glow of his eyes, he almost seems to admire you.
Sun presses you to his chassis.
"We, and our soot, are at your mercy, little hunter."
It certainly wouldn't have lent a hand in taking down another cryptid.
[...] he flings it away from you.
Well, the slightest bit of intrigue, or is it confusion?
"You're hurt."
Because of him, you raise your voice.
He taps once. "You have a dauntless heart."
"We must come with you."
"That's what we adore about you."
"You kept me safe," Moon says softly.

sometimes, life is truly dreadful. just really, really awful! but then there are FRIENDS, and STORIES, and with them, the suggestion that perhaps the bleak may not be so daunting, nor so lonely, as previously thought!!

Getting real sick of a certain subset of Destiny players complaining that it’s a baby game and crying to Bungie to nerf exotics and abilities when their ENTIRE POINT IS TO BE STRONG in specific ways as if they are being locked into using them.
IF YOU WANT AN EXTRA CHALLENGE STOP BEING SUCH A DPS GOBLIN AND JUST EQUIP SOMETHING THATS NOT TOP TIER META AND STOP COMPLAINING JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
MOOD. Go off.
It's incredibly annoying to me. They always use the argument of "the game should FORCE me to do things, I should not SELF-IMPOSE challenges." And like. ? I'm sorry but what? It's a video game for a big audience, it's here to be playable and accessible to the widest possible playerbase. There are plenty of ways to make the game difficult for yourself, so knock yourself out if that's your thing, but don't force others into it.
Like, I enjoy hard content, I regularly at least attempt day 1 raids, I do master raids, GMs, solo and solo flawless content and all that. But only when I want to. Sometimes I don't and I don't want to suffer in a patrol zone or struggle in a seasonal activity I'm doing for the story. The majority of the players don't want that. Designing games for the professional gamers only has NEVER been a good idea and never will be. Fifty streamers can't sustain a video game. It needs casual players who will want to come back to the game instead of feeling defeated.
One of the reasons I really enjoy helping others is because I know that casual players tend to struggle in stuff that's basic activity for me. I've seen people unable to get through a strike. I've sat for 10 minutes rezing someone who couldn't do the jump in a seasonal activity. I want those people to be able to play basic content without feeling frustrated and I want them to know that there are people out there who will help them out.
And this doesn't apply just to basic content, although it should start with that. I think all dungeons and raids and everything should be things that all players can complete. Fine, doing a master raid with all challenges should be tough, but it should be achievable with time and practice, not impossible. What a lot of these "pros" want is just completely divorced from reality.
It takes days and days of practice every time a new master raid is out for me and my team (all with thousands of hours of playtime) to get comfortable to finally finish it. We're far from casual players and it still takes a lot of time to be able to finish hard content. Making it even harder is insane to me. Like, if something is so hard that my team full of people, each with 5000+ hours of playtime and a coordinated team that's been raiding together for years now can't finish it, that means it's absolutely impossible for probably 90% of the playerbase. That's wild to me. Raids and GMs should have more people playing them. If master raids are too easy for you, Mr. I-Play-Destiny-For-A-Living, that's on you buddy. Unequip the super god tier god roll meta guns and loadouts or play something else.
And ofc, another excuse they make is "if I don't use meta, I am not going to win a raid race!" Then don't. Idk. Let me play you the tiniest violin. This affects literally nobody except a grand total of 50 people. Run your meta in day 1, and play with random shit otherwise. Play raids with all white weapons. Play without mods. Play without a HUD. Do things solo only. I don't know, make up a way to spice things up for yourself. I'm not interested in that and neither are 99% of the players out there. The game is genuinely hard enough for the majority of the players. On top of that, I am here to feel like a powerful space fantasy superhero. I am NOT here to die to dregs in patrol zones. If there's ONE thing that I know for a fact that put people off from Lightfall (as in this year of Destiny), it's the difficulty changes. They're annoying, frustrating and for some a barrier to entry more than anything else.
