Hi!!!! Sorry this is a little late, I got so distracted with an animatic im working on(😈) and then a stupid essay😭😭 being honest rn... Almost all of what I've been thinking about is my fic.. 😔

But!! I can still go a little into that without spoilers. I've finally figured out The Perfect ending for this story that I feel fits with the overarching themes I wanted to tell. I've been making sure that every little detail fits with the themes I wanted to show, I wanted it to overlap Regulus and barty's characters and their overarching themes with PD. I also didn't want to just replicate PD cause I feel like that doesnt have the depth or commentary I want to out into it. Idk ive always thought it's super fun to put everything as some sort of symbol or metaphor or foreshadowing. I'm like literally so close to being done drafting and then I can actually talk about it a little more😭

Anyways! I've also been thinking about barty post regs death 😔(when am I not) But more specifically how every memory he had would almost be tainted, everything now would have an air of questioning and unsureness. Even memories where Regulus isn't there, just wondering where was he? What was he thinking? Am I remembering this right? What could've I changed? What was the domino that caused all of this to happen? Eventually finding it hard to accept the way it really was, having the "I guess it was" and feeling it, but overintellectualizing it. His logic and reasoning is his downfall in this situation, that's what makes him go crazy. (Side note I NEED to make a little post about his intersection between intelligence and madness) Hes doing a complicated version of when there's a task that seems so simple that you think it's a trick, but it's not, it's just that. What happened with Regulus was just that.

Also, I've recently self reflected and realized that a lot of my barty characterization is similar to how I think of Leonard Cohen's art(who I LOVE LOVE LOVE) Idk if you've listened to him or read any of his work, but I HIGHLY suggest it, it's perfect for fall. Anyways, a lot of his songs and poems carry themes of having a twisted self image, not completely self deprication though it may seem, but something else. It's closer to understanding and knowing that you are. Different. And unconventional. It's an uncomfortablility he has with himself. Being soemthig twisted from what you should've been. A lot of his stuff is also to do with tragically losing someone, out of their own choice, and still feeling very loyal yet bitter. Also of loving something so much that it turns dark, or it goes too quick, it spirals. Also his love songs are very barty's perspective on bartylus to me. And like, obvious war mentions. I could give some specific recs similar to barty or them if you'd like.

Another thing is of Regulus and his relationship with his dad. Though I see it completely reasonable if his dad was just kind of, not there and neglectful, it could give very interesting implications to his character, I like it the other way around. Orion seeing what a more carefree attempt at raising a child does and keeping Regulus even closer than he did before. I think Orion always liked Regulus more, despite him being the second, because he was a model son. I don't think he wanted this life or even to have kids, so Regulus being so complacent and in line with what he was supposed to be as a pure blood made him the decided favourite(as much as he could have one). He was always keeping a close eye on Regulus and he could feel it, but he didn't do anything out of place anyways. Orion could tell when he was even thinking something he wasn't supposed to. I believe that, no matter how much she tried, walpurga was too caught in her own head about her duty as a mother to see S+R as anything other than Her Kids, as property that she was supposed to care for and tend to, she obviously loved them, but couldn't see through them. But Orion was there around every corner looking through regulus' eyes into his soul to search for any thing out of his perfect kid.

Anyways.... That's all I can think of rn😭 but if you have questions about ANY of them lmk!!! I love yapping about my little thoughts 😁😁

Tfa Optimus in my opinion is basically Orion Pax (in general any orion). Like who I imagine Orion to be before taking the matrix. He is sweet, loyal , brave but is still struggling to be this leader but he's trying his damn hardest to take up the mantle.

ES Optimus would immediately be so drawn to TFa oppi because that's him , literally who he was before, young and not alot of experience. But also sad that this oppi has had to go through so much in such a small time. The losses he has suffered. He feels for him so much.

They are dads btws. This is two big bot dads with dad jokes. A young dad and aolder dad that goes

Now comes ES Megatron. Oh dear he's not use to this. When comes to the size and the fusion Canon on his arm. Tfa can't help but be uneasy. ES oppi would reassure him that this megs is ok and has changed. Its hard for tfa to wrap his mind around. So he trys to talk with him a little. Tfa oppi is a bit awkward but Megs sees he's trying so agrees.

He's so blown at the different personalities and history they share. Even a bit envious but happy that this Megatron saw the error of his ways and wnates to change. Meanwhile his was stuck as he was,, evil and murderous..

Megs is more than happy to show he's happy to talk. But hearing what tfa megs is like just makes him disgusted, particularly guilty as some traits he used to share maybe even struggles with right now.

But Megs is also like that Dad who's been around is trying turn his life around be there for the kids. Literally lol so Tfa Optimus and these two big boys get along well.

Yes! of course! I actually just finished Mikey's info dump/doodle page so i'm going to be posting that soon as well.

But the newly named Ninja Club AU is just a 03 separated au i've been tossing around my head for a few weeks now. It's so stupid and has taken over a lot of my brain processing, especially the last few days lol.

Basically, at about age 2-3, the boys got separated from both eachother and Splinter, and ended up getting raised in VERY different places.

Donny grows up as an average (if mutant turtle) new york child with school and everything.

Mikey grows up in the foot, being Karai's annoying little sibling.

Leo gets raised by the Daimyo.

and Raph, most strangely, ends up in fking space with the triceritons.

And the whole thing gives off YA fantasy novel/weird high school vibes so bad b/c of Donny just being some high schooler.

but yeah! I love it, ive only really got the 2 posts for it rn (mikey will be posted shortly. After i type the info dump lol) but they should both be tagged with "Ninja Club au".

(btw, i called it Ninja Club as a stupid reference to things like Orion Host Club and the Breakfast Club, specifically for the stupid high school chaotic vibes lol. Small Idea on Optic/eye colors but make it Feral

Okay, so I really like an Au where Optimus is somewhat feral. He grew up in the wastelands of Cybertron and so he had to fend for himself until Alpha Trion or somebot took him in.

And I had an idea what if Optimus’s eyes change color if he goes feral, I like to think he would be able to go into a “Feral Mode” and his eyes would probably change to show he’s in that mode.

I kind of imagine it as a code in their processors so if it’s a code implanted into the processor technically, you could call upon that code if you choose to, I kind of had another idea about that.

What if the code can be transferred to an offsprin’ if that's true, if Optimus ever has a sparklin’ there is a chance that the code could be dormant in his sparklin’ and I think dependin’ on how feral somebot is the more potent the code is.

And I kinda did a thin’ with the cybertronian's optics and their colors

I was gonna actually draw an eye but I didn’t feel like it, so this is what I did now this is just a rough sketch. So it may or may not change in the near future.

And yes I know that Breakdown had more of a darker yellow I just didn’t have enough room for it, and I did try to get the colors as close as I could without doin’ a color grab.

I started this last night and I had an itch to make an animation of the optic changing into the “feral state”. It was actually quite fun to make although I've never done it before so it was a new experience for me.

It's actually kinda cool, anyways I'm gettin’ off track.

What if the full feral state is dangerous because there’s a 50-50 chance that you won’t be able to go back to the normal state of mind. I can imagine that most of the bots in the wasteland got killed because of that fact.

Nothin’ can get them out of that state if they can't get back to normal themselves they’re goin’ to be killed on sight, so Orion/Optimus only uses that as a last resort.

Also, I think besides the optics changin’ I think their denta would get sharper and their digits would also get sharper kinda like Megatron's teeth and digits but not like his shark teeth just the lower and upper canines.

I also think that there's a way to tell that they have the feral code. It's very subtle unless you’re looking for it and I think that it's different with each bot.

They’re also looked down on in Cybertron’s society there “feral” and “uncontrollable beasts” Orion had a lot of controversy in the higher society most thought he was goin’ to damage the Iacon, News flash glitch he never did!

Orion probably even hides somewhere high and I mean HIGH to the point where they got seekers to check the high spots in the Iacon they never found him though but most seekers that would be sent to find Orion would claim to feel that they were bein’ watched but could never find the source or they refused to ever try to look for Orion again #traumatized.

They also swore whenever a seeker would refuse to ever go look for Orion again they heard the feral little thin’ giggle.

Well sadly that is all I have for this idea for now, I can’t really think of anythin’ else but I really do like the idea of Orion\Optimus bein’ a feral little slag

….But now I have an idea about Optimus goin’ feral ...oh no I already have too many docs that I haven't finished, no bad brain!

as this list shows - I'm not young, and I started out with PC gaming, where truly my love for gaming was built. It was hard to pick 10 games - for being a "gamer" I don't actually play a lot of games, and there's only a few games that really stick out as truly noteworthy over time to me. Criteria is muddled - games that are great, games that are fun, games that defined a moment for me. Yes, there's a certain amount of nostalgia too here. I've by internal logic excluded text-based IFs from considerations.

Civilization

I refuse to pick one, but I'll probably go with IV if I had to, just because of the music and I think it's where they introduced cultural victory. Civilization was the first video game I brought with my own money, and yes that's an old pic of all the boxes (I don't have the Civ I box 😭but I still have the disks and manual). I also have Civ VI, but no new pic. Civilization is genre defining, a PC gaming defining game - there is no other game like it.

2. Diablo II

I played so much Diablo II - it was such a fun game full of fun gameplay. It was also the first game I truly played online - meeting new and wonderful friends and got embroiled on online drama! Diablo II was just sheer fun, from the builds to the loot to the secret cow level. The cut scenes were phenomenal, the one above is still one of my favorites of all time - the shattering of the world stone. Tyrael was possible my first video game crush, yeah just the wings and voice, don't @ me

3. Warcraft III

I played so much Warcraft III. The gameplay was fantastic, just a great RTS. It had humor, but also possibly the most heartwrecking storyline I've played - the fact you get to play out Arthas decent into evil was a stroke of gameplay and storytelling genious. Coupled with this era of Blizzard's cinematic department, the hands down best cut scene ever. This remains a top game for me.

4. Mass Effect

What can I say? Mass Effect is fun to play, has a pretty great and well written story - it's one of a kind to be honest. I don't do shooters, but I do do Mass Effect.

5. Pharaoh

I love city building and this was the best one. IS the best one, as this is remastered on steam. I'm currently playing this, and this is from the other night. I love this! pyramids! logistics! production! bright colors!

6. Dragon Age Inquistion

would be weird if I didn't include this one, right? I love the game and I love all the stuff that lives in my brain because of it. Also I do think the combat is fun? I think mechanics and environment wise it's also the best of Dragon Age.

7. Assassin's Creed Odyssey

I had a hard time picking between II (best boy Ezio, Desmond), Origins (pyramids! BAYEK and AYA, the mature story!!) and Odyssey - in the end I think Odyssey won because of the feel of AC - assassin, the vast explorations, the many quests, and ofc yelling in DMs over lost love. Not to forget - clop, clop, clop, the fake minotaur quest.

8. Jedi: Fallen Order

Look, I don't like platformers or difficult combat, but story mode hit the spot, and the story was SO good. Cal Kestis is my son in my heart, the story and his character touched me.

9. World of Warcraft

well, the sheer amount of time and investment I put into this game count for something. At some point it seemed like half the world played it, for good reason. I don't think I can go back, but WoW was the first MMO I truly enjoyed, and I love the art style so much. and I got to turn into a demon for massive damage, and endlessly frustrate my healer. Infinite mana, baby, just heal me

10. Master of Orion II

another old 4x game, this just hit the spot somehow.

other contenders: Geometry War Retro Evolved, Tetris, the MasterMind game my dad coded himself and we had a vicious family competition for the leaderboard, Settlers III, Heros of Might and Magic (but I don't recall which version I loved the most), and Warlords (the original DOS game)

Also, and I say this with absolute extreme disdain, El seriously only just now realised that she has perfect combat synergy with Orion and she COULD have destroyed Patience and freed her father from the eternal torment of being digested? Like......seriously? Did Liesel not even realise this, who is the only one with any brains? (I realise that Liesel at least had different priorities)

Also I am going to explain Orion's craziness and personality change in book 2 as such: he didn't have any mals to eat and so he went mad. He decided, like the piece of shit that he is, that he'd prefer to do months of battle against mals because at least he wouldn't be hungry.

The funny thing is that book 2 ESTABLISHED that El has ZERO absolutely ZERO idea of what goes on in Orion's head. Like. She doesn't get him AT ALL. So her prevaricating on how he's so misunderstood and pushed to be what everybody sees in him - he ALREADY TOLD YOU HE JUST LOVES EATING MALS HE DOESNT CARE ABOUT ANYONE OR ANYTHING HE JUST LOVES EATING MALS EL STOP BEING AN IDIOT AND PROJECTING YOUR OWN SHIT ON THIS POOR BOY

She's literally comparing herself to him again. Look he was a hero and I was an evil witch. Everybody thought that and wanted that from us. EL HE DIDNT FUCKING CARE OK????? Worse, (and it makes sense in this moment), she somehow threads her mum's direct look at his soul into this narrative as some kind of reinforcement of it. He didn't care El. He didn't care. He's just a hungry boy.....

In fact, I cannot remember her classmates ever hating El. Because....they didn't even know she was fated to be an evil witch archetype? They just avoided her bc she wasn't an asset to their survival they thought which was so absurdly idiotic since EL IS A GODDAMN MAL EXTERMINATOR and she never told anyone because of her stupid fucking hangups she could have been a fucking prep and made everybody's lives so much better so much earlier

Sometimes novik is not consistent about the vulnerability of adult wizards. But this description seems more apt.

Liesel coming in to say 'stop it!' to eldritch monster entity El like she isn't going over the deep end suddenly and very badly. And succeeding. And then getting Yancy to say what El wants to know. Wow they're a good team. I propose Orion/El/Liesel/Alfie super extreme power ..... Thing? Uh. Bridge structure?

El seriously is like: hm. Why is Liesel helping me now? Already turned her down....

El. You saved the whole school. You made that possible. You killed three MAWMOUTHS. You treat Liesel like a person you respect. You are a fucking entity who could do incredible things with a whole lot of help on the bits you suck so terribly at. There was something so absolutely wrong with Orion and everybody kept trying to tell El and she never saw it because he became a person FOR HER. And she keeps trying to blame his family but his family probably endlessly tried to connect with him but he was just hunting mals. His father responding like this- just absolutely devastated over Orion finally having acted like a human being with somebody is enormous proof. Uh yeah and the rest of the chapter confirms this explicitly.

It really is harry potter but cooler and grittier and more horrifying and more interesting. Our dark'ness dementia ravenway.... The bit about how really witches when caught up in the witch hunt really can't get themselves out because the 'mundanes' negate it by the disbelief.... A direct reference to Rowling's note about witches making the fire tickle and going in for multiple rounds. Also the whimsical magic. But it doesn't have that magic to the magic. It's uneasy.

Man. So that's why novik repeated el's misconceptions of Orion in her time of grief. To finally disembowel them conclusively later in this book.

I really didn't know enclaves were built on malia. I think that's a retcon actually. Not just that El didn't know though also that naturally. Fr the more I sit here and think about it, there's a lot of interesting backstory options you can give ROTB Scourge because that "Sold his soul to Unicron" detail is just. Fascinating as hell.

Like, I just came up with an idea based on the theory of the dark energy possibly having connections to aligned lore. Remember the journey to the center of the planet in tfp that Orion made that did the whole prime process for him? My idea I'm having here is that Scourge heard about a planet which held an immense amount of power at the core, and took the trip all the way down. But instead, he awoke Unicron, and found out that this entire planet was Unicron? He fucked around, found out, and made a deal with a malicious god promising this dark energy? It'd be a cool parallel to aligned, and I'm really enjoying how Unicron is a planet eater again instead of a planet's center, and my brain is bringing up mimicry again. I've just got so many fun thoughts about ROTB Unicron, as he's far less passive than we typically see him as. This is a wanderer of the universe just wrecking world after world to satisfy his hunger, perhaps luring mecha in to be his heralds.

13 - memory?

I think... I have a lot of memories I could call my favorite, and one of the most powerful memories of my whole life is the moment when my family got a dog. To put in really shortly: I was an extremely depressed teen that just moved to different country due to my grandma's illness & had a really horrible time trying to fit in. The moment is when me & my mom were having a train to countryside, I guess you could say?.. to go to that specific dog shelter and adopt a really precious puppy our family already loved. It was early winter morning when we got on a train and everything was covered with snow; it was like.. nearly -30 Celsius outside? It was truly magical. When we got there, it was very cold and sunny. The moment when we first met the puppy... I just- I feel like she choose us? She wasn't scared at all and it seemed like she almost.. recognized us? We were literally playing in a snow when we got out. It was a moment when my loneliness was officially over and I had an understanding that I'm not alone and that there's a reason to stay. When we were taking train back, we just- my mom was so fascinated with her. And so was I. We wasn't thinking about anything else because the happiness was truly overwhelming :') just hysterically laughing & crying from happiness and periodically looking at the window, seeing forests train was passing through. By the way, that's why the name of our dog is Снежинка (snowflake)!! Now I really miss her. She lives with my parents, a 5 or so hours away from me and I really, really miss my parent's home. I visit them once a few months and honestly... I just really miss our dog. She'll be seven years this October :') I'm just.. very anxious and scared of public places & trains & train stations especially (thanks OCD), which is the reason why it's so difficult for me to visit them.

I'm so sorry for lack of emotion in that description, but it's just- really personal and my memory of that time is extremely triggering to me and very personal. I feel like crying afterwards honestly- I just miss her so much.

Unrelated Obsession: The Exiled Fleet series by JS Dewes has taken root once again because her new book Rubicon comes out today. So I've been consuming a lot of recorded interviews/con panels/ect in anticipation.

Any Pets: In this household: one menace tuxedo cat pulled from a dumpster in Texas (Blasto) and my poor cinnamon roll of an orange maine coon mix (Atlas).

Honorary mention is Zeke, the 120lbs golden german shepard mix that was a stray down here last summer and I fell in absolute love with but couldn't feasibly adopt, who now lives with my parents up in New England lol.

So, okay. I've known Reth's been doing Flow-stuff smuggling, and I knew that technically, it was illegal, but he was doing it for Tish's sake, so keep her healthy with that hairpin and all.

And then the idiot nearly gets caught!

Anyways, he told me that Eshe had confiscated a package that had Tish's very illegal treatment in it (I will murder him), and asked me to help figure out a way to get it back. He is so lucky I like him, and also so lucky that it took me until now to get mad, because I would have y e l l e d.

But like, I'm surprised he didn't think of Kenyatta himself. She's always down to fuck with her mother (and is actually in the process of making me do that so she can finish becoming Chayne's apprentice.), so asking her to steal from her mother was like giving a toddler sweets and a noisemaker.

Suffice it to say, she stole it, laughed at me about it when she gave me the package, and then told me to tell Reth that he was absolutely nuts. I have not done that yet. I will do that if he comes around. He did give me an old soup pot of his, saying it was his lucky pot, and like...

It needs a bath before I put anything in it.

Kenyatta herself is having me stall Eshe for her, by dragging out party preparations for her path declaration. Majiri traditions apparently had a lot of steps for becoming an official apprentice to someone like Chayne, so I'm having to drag this out a lot. Lucky for her, not hard, because I can't make the things Eshe wants, so I have to hope Tish might have them in her shop.

I wish I could ask Tish directly, but she's still pretty shaken about the whole... 'discovering Reth's in debt to a cartel because of her' thing. And I know if she asks why I will spill the fact that I need these to pay back Kenyatta for stealing the package for me to give to Reth.

Personal news is no less chaostic; I broke Hassian's brain the other day. I didn't mean to, but like...

Okay. So. I've been bugging him to actually help me with this hunting stuff for a while. I am no one's idea of an ideal hunter (I'm getting better, but like...), and I just want to at least be able to hit the target more than I miss. Arrows are hard to make!

So I finally convinced him, and we went to his grove where he has targest set up. He had me working on my stance, and how I hold the bow and draw it, to the point of coming up and actually... yanno, touching me. I don't think he thought of it as anything more than being a hands on instructor, and I didn't mind until I kinda of sort of turned to ask him a question and...

um.

well, he was close enough that it was actually kind of a kiss. And apparently it wasn't a very good kiss (because it was an accident!) so he decided to give me an actual one.

So there was that.

After... that, I decided it would be a good idea to go and try to find some iron so both of us could have some breathing space, and uh...

That ended poorly.

Kind of how Lark got injured, actually... I had their letter (and one from Orion too about the Maji Market), but I put them down to work on something and when I turned around a bratty thieving chappa had them. So those are gone. But anyways, Lark's glider got damaged, and they fell down a hole and got a nasty sprain, and had to be rescued by Hassian (thank goodness Hassian knew where they were...).

Me? The boards had water damage and I was... distracted. So, we kinda fell down the same hole. I was also found by Hassian, fortunately. Well. Sort of fortunately. I think he used Tau to track me, and he was so cranky about needing to help me back up. Nothing's broken, but he gave me a piggyback to Chayne's, and loomed until Chayne said I would need a sling for a few days, and should go home to rest.

I am entirely anticipating too many visitors, because I bet Hassian will tell Sifuu, who'll tell anyone at the inn in the evenings, and then Chayne will probably also tell Dad. It's just a strained elbow! I'm fine!

...okay, maybe not fine, but It's really not that bad.

Hassian complained about the humans he knows and sort-of-likes being absolute klutzes even as he got me home and made sure I didn't actually need anything. I'm a little concerned that someone's going to show up with a pot of Reth's lettuce soup (please no, something with actual flavor thanks), and goodness only know what Jel's reaction is going to be.

This character's name is Riley, and a demiromantic asexual!

Her WIP is currently unnamed, in my brain and tags it's called The Artemis Project.

Riley is the bearer of the bow of Artemis, which means she's a monster hunter. Her aesthetics are very moon-and-star based. Lots of dark blue, violet, black and silver. The plot of the book is her trying to figure out who she is and what she wants to be, while fighting off the villain who's taken her partner Orion's Bow. She's a determined and stubborn person, always getting back up no matter how often she's knocked down. She has a pet/hunting companion in her dog, a stray German Shepherd mix.

Not at all! I really liked doing this a few years back, college just really got in the way for a while 😅 And congrats on figuring yourself out since then, a lot of things start making a lot of sense once you realize. (And yeah, most of my MCs are ace-spec, too, because... Well, accidents.)

There's a version with Riley's flags and a version without. Leaned very heavily into the urban fantasy vibes for this, a lot of dark blues and dark purples. I love me a good monster hunter!!! (And a good doggo of course!)

Can you introduce yourself?

Captain Orion Augustus of the Unreliable, at your service

What is your gender identity, orientation and relationship status?

I’m a pan-romantic demi-sexual man, emphasis on the romantic… I get crushes all the time.

In terms of relationships: I’m proudly attached at the hip to Max DeSoto, and wanna shout it from the rooftops.

Where and when were you born?

April 11, 2244, on Earth

What is your weapon of choice and fighting style?

None. And… none? I prefer to convince my opponent that they aren’t particularly interested in fighting me at all. And if that fails? I’m one hell of a jogger.

Lastly, are you happy?

You’d think that was a simple question, haha. Let’s say yes. At the moment.

Family and Friends

What’s your family like? What is your relationship with them?

My mother left when I was young. I never really tried to find her. It doesn’t matter now, she’s long dead. Unless people somehow started living far past 100 years on Earth. Who knows. I was close with my father before he died. It was complicated I guess. He wasn’t… I don’t know. We were close I suppose. Anyway that's boring. Let's hit the next one, shall we?

Have you ever run away from home?

As a kid? No. I got into trouble in plenty of other ways.

I guess boarding the Hope could be counted as running away from home as an adult. But Earth didn’t really feel like my home anymore anyway.

Would you consider marriage or having children?

No to children. Not really interested in that at all, but if some kid who was really into tossball and anarchy maybe needed to join a crew to like, I dunno, get away from a dead end job moving boxes on a space station? Hypothetically? That’s another story.

As for marriage… I may be a romantic at heart, but I don’t need anything that traditional. Some kind of celebration with, you know, flowers and music and twinkle lights and all our friends… that would be nice. Doesn’t have to be called marriage.

Do you secretly hate one of your friends?

My friends? No.

But I do make some assholes believe that I’m their friend before I take them for all they’re worth. Don’t worry about it unless you’re filthy rich and treat people “below you” like garbage.

Which friend knows everything about you?

Max probably knows as much as I do. But that’s not saying much. Half the time I’m confused about the inner workings of my own stupid brain. I tell Max more than I tell anyone else.

Are you literate? Have you been to school?

Finished high school. Didn’t see much point in paying for anything beyond that. I read a lot, mostly romance paperbacks, and I’m writing my own. I'm a pretty good writer, if I do say so myself. And I do. Say so myself.

The eeriest prediction you made that later came true?

I dunno about eerie. I’ll brag, be honest, and say that I can read people pretty well and give you odds on what they’ll do next. I'm usually right.

What is something you were embarrassingly late to realize?

That I was in love with the preacher.

Do you have mental health or physical issues?

I mean I’m a mess, my friend. There’s the obvious: I’m blind in one eye. Other than that. Mental health? Yeah. Again. A mess.

What is your current main goal?

I don’t really have one. Give love, receive love? Is that too corny? Too bad.

sirius and potters is my fav trope ever. he's the potter wispherer and they in return are sirius black wispherer. the amount of love shared between all of them is insane and i love it. i love how sirius is often seen as this big larger than life one of the strongest characters in hp world and the elder potters and James took one look at him (literally James even on train was like Slytherin's suck but if you get sorted there I'm wearing a green scarf and supporting you even though it might kill me inside) and were like small bebe. protect. snuggle.

one thing I'm curious of your take on about how sirius would react when james and lily got together like would he give her a peptalk for how If she ever hurt james it wouldn't go very well or a peptalk on how amazing the potters are and while their love seems overwhelming just enjoy it

do you also have any sirius and the potters hc that you haven't really shared before?

uhh also one hc that i have in perticular is an an au world where sirius introduces regulus to james just to maybe show him the difference from how blacks operate and the meeting is classic grouchy cat reg and human puppy personified james.

reg: this is scary people are talking to me and telling me they love me and what is this wrapping their arms around me that makes me feel safe???

okay, i love this ask. so much. sirius and the potters (all potters from all walks of life) is one of my favorite things to write about, despite how little i do so on here.

so alll your curiosities will be answered under the cut for my takes on this that only one person asked for. <3

how would sirius react when james/lily got together?

so, you'll see more of this in no matter the wreckage and i've written a holiday dribble on it before, but i HC sirius and lily as having been friends before james and lily started dating.

they bonded over their shifting family dynamics as early as first year and just...were friendly. and then got to be like actual friends around 4th year (sirius took arithmancy, lily took arithmancy, james did not. sirius is super good at magical numerology in my brain; also could unpack that sirius was top of the class in most things and him and lily had this on-going academic compeition (you're absolutely incorrect if you think The Blacks would've let Sirius just *skate by* it'd be THE BEST or nothing, especially since he was already a "dissapointment" by being sorted into gryffindor. i really dislike fics that make sirius...a slacker for this reason alone. like...You think Orion/Walburga Black would've let that happen? but also that sirius is smart, and if he keeps his grades up, guess who stays off his back???) ANYWHO. Lily and Sirius were friends! James and Sirius were ride or dies!

But, Sirius is James over everybody else in the world, right? i wrote a scene in NMTW where Lily hurts james feelings and sirius literally gets up from where he's sitting at the table to make a physical barrier between lily and james. and has remus and peter and marlene and everyone follow. I think Lily got a talk for sure. I actually think that James would've been like "Mm, you need to meet Sirius" and Lily would be like "...I've met him? We're friends? We're literally studying tonight" and James is like "Nah, it's different now that we're dating" and it'd be like this BIG CHARADE.

but YES to sirius being like lily just...let it happen. let him love you--you want another snippet from NMTW?

“I don’t want to date him.”

“Great. So don’t. But you don’t have to be a dick to him either. You don’t have to act like you hate him especially when you clearly don’t as evidenced by you’ve been talking about him for the past half-hour all because you think you might have hurt his feelings.”

“His heart is on the outside of his body, Evans. He has really intense feelings all the time. And as annoying as it is sometimes, it’s...actually something spectacular if you just learn to let it happen. So let it happen, and stop being rude for no reason. He’s just trying to be your friend.”

sirius and the potters headcanons?

i haven't shared alot of my thoughts on them to be perfectly honest. here are a few though:

-the first summer sirius was there, sirius tested all the boundaries known to man to see what would happen.

-i know this is canonically false, but it's the way it has to work in my brain or else i can't do it, sirius runs away winter of fifth year. so that first short holiday really is just sirius being like "what the fuck is my life now" and kind of....uh, *searching for the word* oh, okay, damage control. it's damage control. the summer is when shit really kicked up. it took like a month for sirius to get comfortable talking at the dinner table with the potters so candidly (speak when your spoken to blahdeyblahdeyblah) and the first time he did sirius was so nervous but was just hyped up by all the potters.

-sirius is active, but james is a new level of active. sometimes i think sirius would go to work with Mr. Potter just for some like...quiet break.

-i think sirius and james relationship during this summer is like...one of the most poignant things for character development? and like deflating james's head because he finally got to see the dark and dirty shit sirius had tried to keep from him for so long. and sirius was finally held accountable in a way that was non-punitive/self-damaging. could probably write a whole fic about this summer alone.

-sunday afternoon tea.

-i think the potters (effie and monty) had FRIENDS. and hosted PARTIES all the time. that were so full of life and different people. and it was the best.

- the potters got a piano just for sirius because they knew he liked to play, even if he pretended he didn't.

- sirius cooking with Mrs. Potter. sirius gardening with Mrs. Potter.

regarding reg:

yes. 100% but i think what's important to note is sirius was ALSO like this? maybe not to the same extent regulus was (because dispositions are different) but sirius was absoluely like "this is really fucking weird" when he first got to the potters.

like, even james showing up to breakfast in his pajamas. and sirius was like ???? because if he ever did that at number 12, nope. nope. so sirius shows up to breakfast every day like dressed and ready to go. and james walking in shirtless is like what the heck.
