NO LITERALLY they drive me craaaaaazy!!! i'm like. debating writing a full fic about the events of The Wedding because it's so pivotal to blood and turpentine. like. the drama is insane.

peregrine REALLY regrets letting jace go nearly every day. like he is in full Fourth of July by Fall Out Boy (You are my favorite 'what if'/You are my best 'I'll never know') mode. but like. he chose his social standing over his happiness. and when by extreme luck he sees jace again (i do think he thought jace died when elmville was destroyed) he thinks it's his chance to make things right. but this isnt the jace he knew back in their adventuring days, so of course theyre doomed.

also. re. aurora and peregrine. this is gonna sound VERY bad but walk with me. theyre in a community where divorce is an extreme taboo, especially if you have kids, which they do. aurora's status as a priestess could be revoked. peregrine could be shunned from his last vestige of community. their marriage is held together solely by external pressures because internally it's a mess. peregrine loves the security and social status that his marriage brings, aurora has been raised from birth to want this, so she does, deeply, and will protect it with her life, but like. they got married in their early 20s. neither of them like each other much as people and they found that out way too late. there's no way out, no exit, the torment nexus is forever.

buuuuuuuut. if either one of them dies in a glorious mission for the church of sol? well! then there would absolutely be a period of mourning. but you can't mourn forever, at a certain point the sun has to rise. and of course they'd miss their former spouse forever, but the field needs to be tilled so new seeds can be planted. so like, maybe peregrine takes stupid risks and splits the party while he's in a creepy church filled with acolytes to the god of rage and conquest. and aurora lets him plane shift to somewhere completely unknown because she's gonna stay behind and keep the rest of the party safe, it's just more efficient that way.

And finds out he fully tried to turn the guy he went to his wedding with into a God and nearly killed a whole town of people

GOD. yeah. yeah. like. okay this is gonna sound so insanely dramatic but like. at the wedding. peregrine gets jace alone to "catch up" with him and is like "i was really hoping you'd show up here without a plus one. i thought maybe. maybe we still had a chance." it's about five years too late for that though and jace is not going to be his dirty little secret again, and he says this and breaks peregrine's heart as like, extremely delayed revenge. and then jace gets blackout drunk at the reception, confesses what happened to porter, says that he never really got over what he and peregrine had, and cries on the car ride back home. [butterfly icon appears in the corner] Porter Will Remember This (for emotional blackmail purposes) (please someone get jace some better taste in men).

and like. yeah. years later he looks jace up and is like (lying to himself about finding jace being Actually Evil and Insane extremely hot) "ahaha man i sure dodged a bullet huh. dont stick your dick in crazy and all that"

Airbending subbending/subtypes actually include frostbreath 🌬️❄️. Aang and Roku utilized it against the volcano to cool it down. Plus Aang created iceformation around the chains of King Bumi using an airbending technique that is technically an air+water because waterbenders like Katara and Hama can pull water out of the air. Plus Aang and Zuko and Tenzin explains an air+fire technique which explains how airbenders can keep themselves warm despite their freeflowing clothes. Plus the time Aang cooled down Toph’s tea. Plus the time Aang blew cold air into water, turning it into snow. Plus the time Aand blew water but it turned into snow. Plus, air conditioners or A/Cs 🌡️

In fact! Wind currents are the cause of heat and cool temperatures that are trying to form a homeostasis in a fast pace

Honestly manipulating the temperature is a key feature for all bending types. Waterbenders can bend water into ice, but Aang once bended the tea water and Katara mixes the boiling soup. Just because the water tribe lives in the Arctic, doesn’t mean it’s impossible, but probably because they never found a need to learn that.

Earthbenders have lavabending so there’s that, I don’t think there’s ever been a frozen earthbending 🤔 Same with firebending, because all fire is hot, the only thing they can do is be hotter like Ozai or Azula’s blue flames. So while Water and Air can be hot and cold, Earth and Fire can only go nuetral or hot.

Honerablr mention is a point in the comics where Zuko takes away fire so it didn’t burn through a rope (did it too late) plus all the times a firebender diminished fire thrown at them. Firebenders can also take away fire. (Nothing to do with temperature but it does make me think).
