random fact but comet and fritz's first date was horrible.

comet thought that it worked like a blind date so he was trying to be a combination of extremely formal + unfittingly "romantic" (but he can't actually be romantic so it was either the worst pickup line you've ever heard or a stuttering mess) to get Fritz to like him and therefore pursue a relationship. At this point they had known eachother for 8 years and the reason they were on a date in the first place is because they had told eachother their feelings. They were going to be in a relationship

the whole thing made Fritz physically cringe and make him feel like he was talking to a brick wall. It was only when they left the restaurant they were at that they started to have an actual good time because Comet thought the date was normal and resumed being Normal
