I can't watch The Loud House anymore because it makes me too angry. WHY are these parents having 11 children when they are so clearly unable to be parents to them? The eldest children are constantly shown taking care of the youngest, there is a literal infant crawling around who's main caregivers are her sisters! They are consistently absent, never really spend one on one time with their individual children, picking and choosing when to be present, leave childcare and housework to their minor children (ONE OF THEM LITERALLY DOES THE TAXES AND PAYS THE BILLS), and don't even parent them!! They allow them to fight without breaking things up on multiple occasions so they "sort things out themselves." These girls TORMENT their poor 11 year old brother (who they make sleep in a CLOSET. Like that's his BEDROOM and only privacy). In one episode he goes to a friend's house and is in shock when that friend's parents actually pay attention to him and show care!! you know lando and oscar are watching from the mclaren garage, their eyes glued to the screens. lando, your older brother, forever protective even when he tries not to be, always torn between pride and worry whenever you race. oscar, your boyfriend, the reigning king of calm on the track but never quite able to mask his nerves when it comes to you.

they’re your constants. you can almost picture lando’s anxious frown and oscar’s quiet focus, hands clasped together as he watches you drive. the media loves to joke about you being the apple of mclaren’s eye, caught between the team’s two golden boys. but those headlines don’t bother you. for you, this is where you belong.
