Of course!! I’ve been busy being consumed by Baldur’s Gate III so this is late by a long shot.

Jack, Hunter Melly, Hunter Norton being jealous of their mini pet version

Warnings: slight jealousy

Jack

He’s amused, to say the least. You can’t get enough of him, so much so that you’ve decided to purchase a little version of him to follow you around when he’s not there. Unlike others, he won’t be too jealous, and is willing to pamper it alongside you, treating it like a child.

‘Oh my sweet robin, it looks like you’ve been missing me. Well, don’t you worry; there’s enough of me to go around. This little darling can’t be much of a replacement, hm?’

Of course, if he finds you spending more time with little Jack than with him, jealousy settles in. He’ll court you, all gentlemanly and saccharine. Expect flowers, poems, being treated better in matches, and maybe even a painting. Holding the door open for you, kissing your hand… you get the picture.

‘You did so well in that match… Sure, I wasn’t there, but I’m certain you did well, dove. Would you like to enjoy this wine with me as celebration? If not, may I interest you in some of my cooking?’ (You’ll have to supervise his cooking, though)

There isn’t much pettiness, as he understands why you’d buy a mini Jack, and that it’s more available to you than him, being a hunter and all. He does have a photo of you that he carries with him at all times, after all, but he might get jealous over the fact you actively spend time with mini Jack than him. Sure, it’s a pet you need to take care of, but he’d prefer it if you invite him over a bit more frequently.

Hunter Melly

She’s a bit more possessive of you than her survivor counterpart, and is a bit ruthless. She doesn’t mind locking away little Melly so she could have the entire day alone with you, nor does she mind resorting to threatening the little pet. However, she’s not a total savage, and is willing to raise it like a child.

‘Honey, as much as I enjoy your company evermore when we’re alone, perhaps this little pet you have isn’t so bad. We should give it a proper name, not just Little Melly.’

Bitter jealousy still settles in her ribcage like acid reflux, though, and she’ll find any excuse to get you to have greenhouse dates, as the mini pet would get lost, it’s little legs and short perspective unable to find its parents in the maze. She’ll pick flowers and tell you their meanings all the while ignoring that nagging sense of guilt.

However, she finds that little Melly has its uses, such as observing small details on her insects, and finding new species within the greenhouse. She’ll treat the pet a bit better, and there are some times when you find her giving all her attention to it.

‘This little sweetheart has done wonders to my research. It was a good choice to purchase it. You have my gratitude.’

Hunter Norton

He understands that you’re not all his, and that he should be nice and respectful of his lover, but he just has the instinct to hold things dear to him so tightly that his ribcage wraps around them. There’s an ill feeling in his throat and he can’t swallow and his rock fingers twist knobs into the table.

‘What’s going on, darling? Oh… that little thing. I see. Suppose I should leave you to it, then, since it’s obviously better company that me.’

Unlike the other two, he’s never going to accept the mini him into his life. He hates children, and having another mouth to feed is quite the annoyance.

‘When are you gonna throw that thing aside? It’s just a toy, right? Come to your rightful place in my arms.’

He simply doesn’t understand why you’d rather the substitute than the real thing. After all, as much as he doesn’t want to admit, you could always seek out survivor Norton.

he found out that you joined the game because some horrible people bought your father's bakery and the owner promised that he'd give it back to you if you played

he's the one tasting the uncooked batter when you aren't looking

he likes putting the frosting onto the cupcakes, he isn't very good but you let him be

he'll smear icing, frosting or batter on your nose and lick it

"Norton!" the baker shrieked, a tinge of annoyance found in their voice as they gave the taller man a playful glare. Norton smiles cheekily, "What? I just mistook ya for the cupcake since you're just as sweet as it" he spoke in a teasing manner.

he loves spending time with you so he'll ask you to teach him how to bake

he's the type of guy admire you while you work from the counter if he doesn't want to ruin the image of you being so focused on what you love doing

Norton stares at them mixing ingredients in a bowl, watching their eyes light up when they take out their cookies from the oven. "I sometimes wonder if I actually deserve you" he whispers, a despondent yet lovestruck on his face as rests his head on the palm of his hand.

"Nonsense, just eat" (Name) waves Andrew off, smiling sweetly at the albino. "If you love what I bake, then I'm honoured, besides, you aren't a glutton if you're actually enjoying your food instead of just swallowing it without relishing in it's flavour" they reassure, cutting a piece of the apple pie on their plate before hovering it over Andrew's mouth, "Say ahh".

when he found out that you didn't own a bakery, he asked why only to be told that couldn't afford to open one so you joined the game because the letter sent to you said that the owner would fund your bakery if you played

"Then, I would like to work with you in your bakery when we're out of here" Andrew says with an earnest tone, staring straight into your eyes. The baker nods, a happy smile on their face at the thought of working with their lover.

Melly leans on the wall, "I already know, I'm not mad" she states in a blunt manner, scaring the baker.

Romantic ghost manor au Melly headcanons

Pairings/Characters: Melly Plinius - “Entomologist” x Gender neutral Reader, Mike Morton - "Acrobat", Emma Woods - "Gardener"

(I physically couldn't find any melly fanart that i could credit and make a banner at the same time so i'm using the 4th anniversary promotional thing, possible ooc)

Melly is more of a background ghost, and what I mean by that is she kinda just chills wherever. She's mostly by herself in the background watching others chat or do activities together. Not to say she dislikes interacting with others, she has her friends and likes talking to people. However sometimes she'd rather sit alone or sit next to someone in silence, most of the time thinking of her studies.

Similar to Victor she also revealed herself to you relatively early just so you wouldn't panic about her existence. Unlike Victor however she does make slight efforts to get to know you and at least become acquainted with you. For awhile you two would just stay as acquaintances until Melly adjusted too your presence and started going out of her way too chat with you more.

Any insect problem with the manor due to how old and broken down it is? Melly's got you covered! Due to her massive experience in the field of biology she knows about a lot of bugs ranging from butterflies to spiders and how to effectively remove them from the house. Though she wouldn't mind studying them or using them as specimens if you'd let them stay in the house for a tinyyy bit longer. Just long enough for her to nab one.

Melly is pretty touch neutral, she doesn't mind and sometimes likes hugs or holding hands but not all the time. Before you get into a relationship with her she'll remain touch neutral but once you do she leans more towards liking PDA.

Once Melly realizes her feelings for you start expecting a lot of bug themed gifts. Such as dried butterfly specimens in glass cases that can be hung up on the wall, or maybe even a biology book. Melly will be a bit sad if you're scared of insects but will respect your fears and find different gifts to give you. She'll actively spend more time around you, mostly just hovering around in the background. Watching whatever you're doing or standing beside you listening to you talk.

Melly confesses to you by having a certain acrobat named Mike lead you too the garden of the manor and having the gardener Emma have you sit down on one of the many benches in the garden. Emma handed you a flower crown and said that Melly had made it for you. Soon Melly herself arrives there, carrying an assortment of books. Emma excuses herself and leaves the garden, just leaving you and Melly. She sits beside you and sets the books down on apart of the bench that isn't occupied and begins to start small talking with you. After asking you how your day had been she hands you a book that she thought you would like, even if you weren't much for reading or didn't like reading it was still a kind gesture that would be rude to turn down. As you open the book and skim through the pages a paper in the shape of a rectangle falls out from inbetween the pages. You pick it up assuming it was some kind of bookmark until Melly suggests for you to open it. Slightly confused you do as she says, you unfold the piece of paper and realize it's a letter. As you start reading Melly takes off her helmet, letting her hair that she usually keeps in a bun fall down. She smiles at you as you read, your eyes expanding in shock at what feelings the letter revealed. Your eyes wander over to hers as one of her hands reach for one of yours, the other hand going to cup your cheek. She kept the same sweet smile on her face as you nearly got lost in her beautiful eyes, the face she normally kept hidden was so beautiful, so pretty, you wondered why she even hid it in the first place. "May I?" She asked, leaning slightly closer to your lips. You leaned forward closing your eyes as she finished closing the gap between you two. You embraced in that garden and all seemed at peace.

As your relationship continues Melly will invite you out on walks in the forest with her. While she's out examining the wild life you trail behind her, helping her carry her books the net she usually keeps on herself. She also has started to teach you more about bugs and try and find some bugs you aren't scared of so she can gift you more things she has easy access too and knows about. It may be a bit weird dating a ghost but you’re happy like this, and you wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I think everything about that woman is attractive, I mean come on. She is graceful, elegant, and gentle. The main thing thought would be her voice and how she moves. There isn't really only one thing she does that attracts people to her 😭

Orpheus

Def fixing his clothes nonstop, paying FULL attention to people he talks to (if he's interested lmfao), like literally staring into your eyes without looking away once, slowly nodding and giving this focused gaze. It may be uncomfortable for some people because his stare is intense, but he just thinks it's polite, so 😭

Norton

His resting bitch face is probably attractive itself since he is handsome, but it for some it may give off "do not approach me" vibes. It's 100% intentional from him btw. He doesn't want to have to do anything with anyone if it's not money we're talking about.

Rolles up sleeves + his rough arms.

Always leaning onto something, doorframe, counter, wall, his spine is not straight and neither he is.

Alice

The thing she'll do would probably give off vibes from the one motherly teacher that every girl has crush on. Very doting, very caring.

If she knows you a bit, she always puts her hand on your arm or back. Not affectionately, but she is very physical.

Smiles a lot when she's talking to someone (casually, not investigating)

When she is investigating people and things, her eyebrows are furrowed and her face is lightly scrunched in focused motion. Similarly to Orpheus but it's hotter since she's a woman.

Frederick

Checks up if you know him well, always asks if you're feeling okay since he himself, is usually in pain. Will always have this soft look in his eyes when you ask him the same.

I hc him as tall and lanky man, so he 100% leans to hear you better.

And it's probably only me but the way he played on the piano and his dark circles under eyes are soo omg 😭

Emma wants to be with you all hours of the day, craves it. She wants to never be alone again. If you want the same, then it’s nothing short of a match made in heaven, right?

(Bonus) Ithaqua is not #1 only because he doesn’t like if you get desperate about him having to leave for matches. Like, first of all, he doesn’t get a say and there’s nothing he can do. Second of all, he enjoys terrorizing the little survivors. This is his Me-Time. Any other time he adores having you wrapped around his finger—and a little separation pouting is endearing, but any more than that and he gets frustrated.

Eli is incredibly patient. He loves your company and doesn’t mind a shadow most of the time. But as he’s somewhat of a figurehead and confidant in the manor, he will sometimes need private time with other inhabitants. It’s for their privacy, you see, surely you understand. Otherwise, he doesn’t mind you sticking by his side!

Andrew won’t ever say it, but you liking his company so much sooths a lot of his soul-aches and worries. He does like some occasional quiet time, but otherwise he likes that you would choose time with him over time alone.

Antonio loves his darling’s company…but he also knows it’s important to give his friends some quality time too. (And he has a good amount of friends, despite fate’s intentions.) It’s only fair, right? Surely you can wait a bit. He’ll find you again later to share a bottle of wine.

Ganji similarly likes a good amount of time with his partner…but he’s also quite used to being alone and gets irritable when he doesn’t get any decompression time alone. Make sure he gets like five hours to do his own thing, and he’ll be alright the rest of the time.

Melly doesn’t know what to do with you most of the time. It’s not that she dislikes having you around, but rather she feels awkward. Is she…supposed to be doing something with you? Is she expected to entertain you? She’ll deal with this better after some reassurance and comfort, but otherwise struggles with subconscious expectations about her duties as a partner.

Emily can appreciate clinginess from a medical standpoint. You’ve got some abandonment wounds, yes? You’re afraid of being left behind. She will do her best to accommodate you, but unfortunately she has to work the infirmary most nights and you can’t just loiter in there. Respect her work hours and she’ll make it work the rest of the time.

Orpheus is busy with his own things a good chunk of the time, but as long as it’s not anything private he doesn’t mind sharing space with you. You can even sit on his lap while he’s busy writing…just don’t distract him with inane chatter. And when he says he’s busy, respect that.

Norton avoids you for your own good, alright? Don’t make this difficult. He’s not answering any questions about the hows and the whys, and begging will get you nowhere. When he’s able to have you around, rest assured he’ll be around. He wants to be around you. But whenever he leaves you be, it’s because you’re safer that way.

Luchino also has work. Even in the manor, he’s not giving up on his research, his life’s work. It’s better if you let him come to you. Make plans with him; he’ll never be late, never forget you. But he has work and even as his s/o you can’t be allowed to distract him.

When they sing to you ♫ 

A headcanon/short fic mix of Demi, Melly, Norton, and Naib when you ask your significant other to comfort you with a song.

Demi

-Demi likes to hum when she’s working hard

-whether she’s mixing drinks or decoding

-it’s not unusual to hear a tune come from the depths of her throat

-but you’ve never heard her sing

-of course, sometimes, if she’s drunk, she’ll belt out whatever song she may have stuck in her head, but that’s different

-the day you actually did hear her sing for the first time, you almost missed it

You had returned from a rough match. It did more than just roughen up your body, your mental psyche was near destroyed. No one escaped, there were still three ciphers left, and you had already been downed two times previous to your state. It didn’t help that the Hunter finally got you by terror-shocking you. To put it lightly, you were beat.

You sought comfort, and your heart pulled you towards her. Demi was your epitome of contentment. Anything you need, she’ll be there. And while you tried not to ask for too much, in this case, you need her, no way around it. When you finally found Demi, conversing with a few others, you silently pulled her away and to your place of comfort. 

“You look rough.” She comments, understanding that all you need at the moment is her, and accepts this fact. without saying anything, you have her lay on your bed, your face finding the perfect space nestled in her chest, her arms around you, stroking your hair softly. In this position, you aren’t far from sleep, but an ethereal voice floating in the air keeps you from fully slipping into the realm of dreams.

It was Demi’s voice, singing a lullaby you don’t recognize, but you find solace in the words and the melody. You can’t stop yourself from drifting off, finding yourself in the same indulgence in your dreams.

Melly

-she’s not very vocal

-you like to ask her to tell you about bugs

-because even if you’re disgusted by them

-she’ll make even the most hideous creature sound like a genuine grace from the heavens with her words

-she’ll even tell you stories if you’d like

-but she gets very uncomfortable with the idea of singing

-and you’re ok with that, you’d never force her to do something she’s uncomfortable with

-but one day, as a gift to you, she surprises you

“I’d like you to meet me in my room tonight after dinner.” She says to you out of the blue. This was earlier in the afternoon. Now, it’s dark, and everyone has gone to their respective places of rest. Melly had practically locked herself in her room when she said that to you. By this point, you were worried sick. So, as soon as possible, you made your way to her room.

You open the door to find her sitting on the floor of her room, mask sitting neatly next to her, face reddened.

“You’ve expressed your desire to hear my voice before…” she starts, unable to make eye contact with you. 

“Oh, Melly, it really is ok, I don’t mean to push! I-” before you can argue further, she stops you.

“This is something I want to do for you. I recently learned a song I wish to share.”

So, you mimic her sitting position in front of her. She clears her throat and shakily serenades you, though gains confidence the longer she goes on. You’re awestruck; as if you’ve never heard a melodious note in your life, her voice changes you. You have to admit, of course she doesn’t have the voice of a professional singer, but it’s her. Not only are the words coming from her entrusted to you, you’re the only person to hear this, and it’s beautiful. When she finishes, face vibrantly embarrassed, she looks to you for your reaction. 

Your mouth opens and closes a few times, unable to form proper sentences. So, you do the only thing you can think of to properly express your feelings. Leaning forward, you gently press your lips to hers in gratitude, thankfully for you, she accepts, leaning in as well.

“Thank you, it was perfect.”

Norton

-Norton has never sung a day in his life

-maybe, possibly, in the mines with what used to be his friends

-but he usually left the tunes to them

-just silently listening

-now, he couldn’t even imagine warbling out a tune

-both from his unfamiliarity with the action and the memories it would bring

-he’s also never considered himself a protective person

-until he met you

-your kindness motivates him more than money could

-he values you so much

-so, for you, he’d try anything

This certainly isn’t the first time you and Norton have laid together in an attempt to sleep, but it is still new to you both. It took quite a while to get here, him holding you loosely, and you, careful not to constrict him. 

“You can’t sleep, can you?” He asks, after feeling you shift for the umpteenth time.

“Sorry, I’ll try to be still.”

“No, it’s ok, that’s not what I meant.”

Tentatively, he pulled you closer, resting his chin on the top of your head, and just as carefully, you adjusted your soft grip on him.

“This is nice.” You whisper, closing your eyes and trying, still, to fall asleep.

“Listen, I’m going to try something, just… stop me if it gets unbearable.” You’re awfully worried about what he’s going to do before you’re met with a deep, rumbling voice singing lyrics, something similar to what he would’ve heard in his mining days, and it's soothing coming from him. As he murmurs his tune, the deep rolling in his chest lulling you to sleep, he too seems to be falling deeper. Though you don’t dream, you feel a keen sense of warmth throughout the night.

Naib

-also not a singer

-he considers his singing voice “terrible”

-and that's the excuse he uses to get out of any situation where he’d have to sing

-but you, you wanna hear it

-you don’t care how bad it is

-but no matter how much you beg

-he gets that bashful blush on his face and refuses to comply with your request

-so, you let it go

He does feel kind of bad when you give up, sullen, but what is he supposed to do? He’s never sung before. Well, he can almost remember one time, drunkenly yelling some raunchy song while linking arms with his comrades, swaying about. When that memory fades from the forefront of his mind, he knows what to do for you. Despite his stoic outward demeanor, once you’re behind closed doors, he’s as affectionate as can be. You don’t blame him at all, and indulge him frequently in his request for physical closeness. This was one of those nights. After fondly remembering parts of his past and his family, he wanted to spend time with you, now considering you his family. As usual, you laid together, preparing for a long night’s rest, and he suddenly started to hum. His lips moved as he began to whisper comforting words in a language you couldn’t understand. 

“You remind me of my mother’s lullaby.” He finally says to you. “I had trouble remembering the words, but I’d like to entrust you with its melody.”

“I’d be honored.”

And the night continues. His voice becomes shaky, both from lack of use, and the emotions that come with the subject, but he sings for you in his mother tongue the same tune that would comfort him as a child. 

“Naib,” you start, sleep evident in your quiet voice.

“Yes?” He whispers, just as silent.

“Can you sing to me again?”

This time, he doesn't deny your request.

Little Things of Love - Melly, Aesop, Luca, Antonio, and Andrew

Melly

Melly loves someone who loves her for who she is, not her beauty. Someone who loves her interest in entomology, even if they don’t understand.

Outside in the manor’s garden laid two lovers on a picnic blanket. A checkered blanket laying beneath them with small finger-sized sandwiches laying on small plates. A picnic basket laid beside the girl, whom was gushing about bees. The girl hadn’t been looking at her spouse during her ramble, just aimlessly looking ahead.

After a moment, the woman paused and focused on her spouse. Her spouse had already been staring at her, smiling, with a look of pure adoration and focus on their face. Melly herself knew that they didn’t know all that much about entomology yet they still listened to her ramble. Although you could not see her eyes, you could see Melly’s mouth curl into a small, warm, smile. Melly lightly grabbed your hand and kissed your cheek, “Thank you,” Melly whispered.

Confused, your eyebrows crinkled, “hm?”

“For listening.” Melly smiled while covering you in kisses. Her red lipstick left imprints all along your face while you sat there, stunned.

Aesop

Someone who’s a talker, who can carry the conversation. Someone who is fine with his aloof attitude and accepts him for who he is (and, his weird obsession with death).

Aesop’s room who in the past was quiet. You could hear a pen drop and could here the footsteps of whomever walking the corridor. Yet, that silence is now rare. Usually, a voice could be heard from the door. It’s be gushing and rambling about whatever came to mind.

You’d think that the owner, Aesop Carl, would be annoying at the newfound loudness in his room. Yet, that was not the case. He’d listen adamantly about whatever topic was on your mind. His eyes would soften, looking at your happy face. Aesop wouldn’t just stare out in space while talking to you, how could he! Aesop, to show you how much he’s listening, sometimes makes an occasional comment or question on whatever topic being discussed.

“So,” the grey haired man said looking at you, “it started all because some guy found.. a notebook that could kill whomever he wanted?”

Your mere presence means a lot to Luca. Whether you’re drawing, writing, sleeping, or watching something, as long as your with him, he’s satisfied.

As an inventor at heart, Luca spent many days working on numerous inventions. Unfortunately, due to his fixation on them, he’ll spend hours just working. Which causes his health to deteriorate over time. Of course, there’s someone who always makes sure he’s healthy. Though, Luca would never let you stay up with him while working on his inventions. No matter how much you persist, he’ll never approve of your health deteriorating over time because of him. After all, he can’t loose you too.

Luca leaned back in his chair, it was late at night, he finally finished his latest invention. It was a gadget for, his beloved, you. Something that’d help you throughout the hellish matches survivors were forced to endure. A smile was fastened on Luca’s face and was ready to present the gadget to you. But, when he got up and turned around, you were asleep. A small chuckle escaped Luca’s mouth. Silently, Luca put the gadget on the beside table closer to you and layed beside you. He wrapped his arms around you, smiling, and pulled you closer to him. His arms tightened around you, as if he were afraid that you’d disappear in the night. Yet, he knew you would never go. Luca kissed the top of your forehead, before drifting off to sleep himself.

Antonio:

A free spirit is what he thinks of you. Untainted of the world of aristocrats and untainted of their obsession. A joy to be around, whether you see our or not, is what he thinks whenever with you.

Perhaps, he did not deserve you. He watched you with other survivors, during his friendly match with Michiko (As, it was much easier to convince her to be friendly compared to the other hunters). You laugh while joking alongside Emma and Norton, Norton had likely said something funny. He watched as Michiko joyously danced with all the survivors. A silent tint of jealousy was evident. To be looked upon fondly without obsession and to be liked for who you are. It’s something that Antonio knew you thought of him as, but not the vast majority.

Yet, as he watched you run over to him and clasp his hand, he’s filled with everlasting joy. Antonio silently played the piano, with you beside him, but occasionally you could the man chuckle over his violin. If he knew you all those years ago, before he made the contract with that demon, Antonio one and only desire would be that you both would never part. Yet, he knew it would happen eventually. He’d watch as you’d age and he’d watch you die. Nevertheless, it didn’t matter in the moment. In the moment, he was happy. And, truly, that’s all that mattered to him.

Andrew:

A place of solace and happiness is how he feels, whenever with you.

Used to the solace of being alone, it was a surprise that he now found solace in you. At first, he was worried. After the death of his mother, he wasn’t used to human interaction. However, over time, it became better.

It was silent in your room. Andrew was laying on your bed, waiting for you to come back from your match. Little trinkets were sprinkled around your room some sat their intended places, some of the floor, and some scattered all around your room. Andrew picked up one of them, holding it in his fingers. A smile reached the man’s face as he remembered you. It was a trinket you use a lot but, for some reason, you didn’t wear it today.

Now, she's been through quite a lot herself. She has had to roll up her sleeve and to WORK to get to where she's had to get to. So, she's absolutely understands how hard life in general can be.

Expect slow but gradual increase of exotic flowers at your room. She grows these flowers in order to attract exotic insects but after she gets them... She has really no use for the flower, so expect these beautiful small bouquets.

She's very cold, but honest. She'd appreciate it if you spoke about your emotions, about what's troubling you so she can help. But, she doesn't expect you to do that. She knows that sometimes, you just don't know.

Expect to be taken on bee dates...

She definitely begins to prioritize you in matches. If you're kiting? Oh. Look. Here she comes over the horizon in a swarm, absolutely rushing to you. Suddenly this is her kite and you're free to decode.

Nicknames are on the rise. If you want that of course.

But you never have to doubt whether or not you're loved around her. It might not help your situation. But it's certainly nice to have a support system that's undeniably by your side.

When You’re Gone (survivors x gn!reader)

The manor must have deemed you worthy of freedom. Freedom through the means of death. Oh what shall these poor Surviors do, when their love has been ripped from their aching hands?

# major character death (aka you)

The Novelist hasn't experienced death in so long, he isn't sure how to mourn your loss. If it weren't for his books he thinks he'd be void of the feeling completely. The feeling of despair, of hopelessness, of tragedy. When he is told of such news, all he can do is nod his head before quickly retreating back to his room before his composure betrays him. Alice does check in on him though, attempting to provide him with as much comfort as she can provide.

His only way of coping seems to be through writing, which really shouldn't be surprising. He finds ways to slip your character in every novel and poem he writes, drafts that have your name embedded into them somewhere. All of them revolve around you and it pains him to not be able to share them with you. You may have escaped the manor, but you'll never manage to escape from his heart

"The Prisoner" doesn’t believe it, no, he can’t believe it. Someone as bright and lovely as you couldn’t have fallen victim to the manors prying hands. Luca immediately falls into the 5 stages of grief, with the denial stage lasting far longer than it should. He throws himself into his invention, the only thing he can think of that will distract himself from your untimely demise . He wishes to forget everything revolving around it, and, unfortunately, forgets everything about you in the process

Nothing the Survivors (and even Hunters) say can trigger a memory from Luca. Even when Emily showed his lovers dead corpse, he struggled to remember their once warm embrace. Oh well, guess there’s nothing the Survivors can do about this one. All they can do is whisper a good night and wish them an eternity of rest.

The Entomologist is similar to both of the men before her. She understands that you're dead, but still can't wrap her head around the fact of it. You're actually dead, gone, lifeless and she hates it. She can't stop the tears that flow from her eyes and for the first time she finds herself thankful for her gauze hat to hide her face.

To make matters worse, where ever Melly looks she's reminded of you. Any plant, animal, or painting manages to remind her of you and only pains her more. Norton brings her food when she skips out of it. She wishes you were here, she’d take an eternity of being here if it meant you stayed by her side.

Honestly you didn’t expect to meet her in an aquarium. Plus you didn’t know mermaids exist? (For me she is a mermaid , I just find her one idk 🤷‍♀️)

It was on summer and you thought it would be pretty cool to go to an aquarium museum. (If it’s called like that 😭)

When you got there there were a lot of fishes , it was really pretty. But you caught something, a human?? A mermaid?? What was she doing in the aquarium??

You saw a really pretty girl staring at you curiously. She had a beautiful blue and green-ish hair with a beautiful braid , she even had a cute dress but it was a little torn. And with pure black eyes which really creeped you. It was like she was staring at your soul. When you noticed her staring she hid from embarrassment but you clearly saw her.

You went to the other side of the aquarium where she was hiding but when she saw you she hid again but from the other side of the aquarium you were a minute ago. Did she wanted to play hide and seek?

How on earth can someone catch such a pretty mermaid and put her in a big aquarium with the other fishes.

She peeked again to see if you’re still staring at her. She hid again when you glanced at her. You put a hand on the glass , even if it wasn’t allowed. She looked again at you for the 4th time , slowly got out of the spot she was hiding and placed her hand where exactly was yours from the glass. She was so confused. But she liked it. A small smile prepped on her face. You returned the smile and blushed a little . She’s so pretty. But again when she realised she got scared and went to the spot she was hiding again.

For how long will she be doing this? You waved her for goodbye and went to see the other aquariums. When she got out of the spot she was really saddened. She hopes that she can see you again.

Surprisingly you often go to that aquarium in summer , but not that much in winter.

In the next day you wanted to see her again. But the bad thing was that the aquarium was closed. You sighed sadly , but before you left you saw a girl getting out somehow from the roof?? She was wet(don’t you dare). She looked at you scared but quickly her expression turned into shock and happiness. That was the mermaid you saw yesterday! She waved at you but you could only stare in shock.

How did you get out of here??

She gave you a signal to be quiet.

Well the aquarium had a vent and with that I got out but it was difficult I scratched my leg and it hurts a lot.

Her leg was bleeding. You felt bad for her

Is it okay if I bring you home, I have some bandages , that will stop the bleeding.

She stared at you. Will you do something bad to her? She still doesn’t really trust you. But she doesn’t know where the ocean is , plus she doesn’t know where to sleep now.

Wow such a pretty name!

At first you were curious how can she breathe underwater and on land.

She was kind of a mermaid then?? At first when you both were infront of your house she was scared. She still didn’t trust you. But you told her that everything will be okay and will not hurt her. But she had no choice anyways.

It has been months since you have met her and attached to her pretty quickly . You did ask her to go out to an aquarium but not the place she was. Even prettier and larger.

But before that you had to put sunglasses because you don’t want others to think that she’s some kind of monster, oh and for the skin tone.. I am not sure , I don’t think that people really care, they might think that this is some kind of cosplay.

She absolutely loved that , it was really pretty for her. Her staring in amazement while you are holding her hand and smiling softly.

Of course when you asked lastly to be together she agreed. But she was a blushing mess too. She was so happy that someone really cared for her and showed her real love. <3

Emily

Emily is a really busy woman in the manor. I mean she is the doctor here. There is none stop a survivor injured from matches or because they have tripped etc.

You always try to comfort her since she’s really tired from all of these treatments. You’re always here to make her tea for her to calm down and talk , or just massage her back. She’s really happy about that.

But it was a day off for her since Ada was taking her place , because she saw how much Emily was tired from all of those treatments everyday. Ada isn’t really good at that but she will try and told Emily that she needs to rest or go somewhere to calm her nerves , maybe a place to go with your lover,

Wait, wait, wait. A place where you can relax with your lover?

She have never thought of that.

When she sat one of the benches in the garden she thought where she and her lover spend together. To the park? No.. To the beach? Well uh… When she was still asking these questions she got an idea

Aquarium! Aquarium date!

She got up quickly and walked fast to your dorm. She knocked three times and waited for you to open the door. As you did you smiled and asked her what happened.

(Y/N) love! I would like to ask you something. Are you free today to go to an aquarium date with me?

You blinked a few times in confusion to process what she have said, you smiled widely and hugged her.

Yes! I would love that!

It was one of the best times you guys have spend together.

One of her favourite fishes are the Siamese fighting fishes. She really liked them because they can vary in color from blue, red, orange, yellow, black and green. They are just so pretty.

You giggle because of her reactions of amazement. Just the two of you , shoulders touching and looking at the big beautiful aquarium full of lots of fishes,rocks,sea plants.

She’s a little disgusted by the octopus and doesn’t like them. She just finds them really weird.

There was also tanks with dangerous sea animals. Of course Emily was kind of amazed but horrified. So she preferred just to look at the all kinds of beautiful and cute fishes.

There was even an option to feed them , it was a cute moment at first but Emily almost fell 💀

Overall she enjoyed her day off with you. Hope Ada is doing a good job.

Melly

It was one of your ideas again.

Melly was outside to get some fresh air until you came behind her and gave her a surprise hug . She flinched and turned around really quickly but when she saw you she calmed.

(Y/N) dear… What are you so excited for?

I was thinking maybe we can go out on an aquarium date?

Aquarium..date?.

Yeah! I have seen you work really hard on taking care of the bees and our garden a lot ,even cleaning the house more than me. Which makes me really guilty for that honey , I just want you to relax for a bit and go on a date with me!

A-ah that’s really nice of you.. But who’s gonna take care o-

Don’t worry everything will be okay trust me , plus you have been working a lot sooo

You took her hand , which made her blush.

W-wait! Now???

Yeah!

But I haven’t changed yet! I am not going dressed like that! Just wait for me a few minutes okay?

When you both entered she thought it was really pretty

She was so happy and interested.

Melly loved you so much , the perfect lover she has dreamed years.

You can see her with a sad expression while looking the tanks full of fishes , something was wrong?

It was that.. It reminded of her husband. The one that used her for her beauty , not personality. Their first date was exactly an aquarium date. She hated thinking of those memories.

But she’s so happy and grateful having you. A great and caring lover.

When both of you got home , she was about to cook but you stopped her saying that you will (try) to cook something for her, because she is the best lover ever.

That almost made her cry from all of that kindness that you gave her today. 💕

Overall she was happy , one of the best dates ever.
