Behold! My Moist von Lipwig Cosplay from Comic Con today! I've worked so hard on this and it was an absolute delight to spend a day in Moist's (rather uncomfortable) shoes. 10/10 would recommend being a shiny little con/postman.
Also, I'd like to thank @vampirejuno for helping me write my prop letters (especially the one from Margolotta to Vetinari, which I will admit I kept for myself rather than handing it out to con-goers like the rest), @sybilvimes and @potato-lord-but-not for drawing such excellent Moists that helped me guide my rather haphazard creative decisions, and @lilprince for being so so nice at con when I was going into autistic overdrive over meeting my cosplay idol. Much love, and on to the next one 💕.

#a moment i need to capture while it's still fresh#stargazing alone in the chill and damp of an august night#the crickets singing all around#northern lights filling the sky like nothing i've ever seen#the red colors even visible to the naked eye#pictures show the entire sky alight with red and green and blue#but they can't capture the delicate blue-white formations that i see with the naked eye#or the pulsing weaving swirling motion of the lights above#the high point of the night is looking straight up into the night sky#not north or south or east or west just up which is out toward space#not a direction tied to our world but out to god#and there were these constant swirling waves of light all pulsing toward the very center of the sky#and then a shooting star#the brightest and clearest of the night#streaks upward across the right-hand side#and after an evening of wanting to feel closer to god than i do when surrounded by his heavenly marvels#the prayer that comes to mind is 'glory'#glory to the father and to the son and to the holy spirit who created all this and let me see it#and there is no one to share it with#no way to capture what i'm seeing#no way to share this moment with anyone else#there is no one i'll be able to turn to and say#remember when we saw that shooting star in the middle of the northern lights?#this moment can't be captured or repeated it simply exists in this moment right now#it's beautiful and sad#and also a gift#i meant to stay out for maybe fifteen minutes#i was out there an hour and wish i didn't have to leave#and there was no way to share it but i had to try to share it with someone before i lost the moment

I finally figured out how to get into the Pentiment game files (after downloading five different extractor programmes lol) and decided to look through the glossary page marginalia that I ignored/missed on my first playthrough.
We all know our man Andreas is a cat fan, so it’s no surprise that there are quite a few drawn throughout the game. But there are also these two cats, which aren’t quite in keeping with the style of the others:
It’s a lovely piece of art, just like everything else in the game and now I can access the texture files I’m one step closer to making a sticker set for my laptop lol. But look at it for a bit longer and then tell me they don’t remind you of one of our fave Pentiment couples…
I think @mintymyths has mentioned before that some of the illustrated frogs share a likeness with Andreas — so I like to think that these animal cameos are a recurring artistic feature of his <3

#i want to learn how to vent healthily#bc i have this incessant pathological need to like share every thought i have#and if i dont i get this restless uneasy feeling in my chest and i get restless and worried and like wtf?#whats wrong w me? maybe it has smth to do w that during my entire life i have never been listened to or been helped#like during my life i've asked for help repeatedly but when i have i've only been dismissed or not believed etc etc#so maybe that translated into my head to just feel the need to share it in a public space.....#bc i used to write rverything in a diary but i filled them too quickly and i cant afford the money or space to do that#so i started using twitter and now tumblr... but that has only resulted in me like feeding into it?#it's not healthy to feel the need to share EVERY thought or else u feel crazy. i also shouldnt focus or dwell on thoughts sm#i do have issues bc of my disorders and anxiety. plus avpd in swedish is literally called 'anxious personality disorder' 💀#so it is in me to be anxious and worried and neurotic#but still i want to learn how to not be fixated on thoughts and feelings (also a challenge bc bpd makes feelings feel all consuming)#if i think smth - that also can be totally untrue and only based on my worries -#i can just think it and let it go. idk have to dwell on it and obsess over it.
