Remus didn’t look up from his worn-out copy of Jane Eyre, when James and Sirius entered the cabin. James was explaining his plan of how he was finally going to win over Lily Evens this year, and no matter how hard Remus tried to concentrate, his efforts seemed to fail.

Peter slid open the door frantically grabbing the cabin's attention. “Pretties on their way!” He flung himself down next to Remus catching his breath. “Nice one Pete, thanks.” James said adjusting his jacket. Remus ignored them and went back to reading his book but was caught off guard by the sound of a familiar feminine laugh.

Looking up to see as you and Lily Evens appear outside their door. Like always Lily looked stunning, but Remus couldn't care less. You however; leaning up against the threshold in the familiar oversized brown striped sweater that complimented your skin perfectly, the dark boots paired with beige leg warmers and brow skirt completely you outfit effortlessly.

It reminded him of the summer mornings where you wake up in his arms after staying over the night before. Warm skin and messy hair, wearing nothing but this sweater, his sweater.

He could still picture how the sun seeped into his room and over the two of them. It lit up your eyes making them look like little pools of honey. The constellations of freckles that danced across the bridge of your nose and cheekbones.

It was almost like you were replaying the same events over in your head, because once he met your eyes you both quickly turned away blushing to yourselves.

Remus hated how you kept everything a secret, nobody but you knew. Not his best friends or even Lily. You both had decided that having a relationship during the school year was too complicated.

Things seemed to get in the way, so to make it all easier you agreed to keep it a secret. But I was hard for Remus, all he thought about was the morning afters, the way your skin would be littered with red and purple marks. How you did nothing but lay around his house reading and making food.

You spend almost every minute of summer together, but once they were back in school, you had to act like you barely knew each other. Which is especially difficult when you knew almost everything about each other.

Like how you preferred coffee over tea, but added way too much sugar because you hated the bitterness, but refuses to add cream because you said it takes away the natural taste. Or how you always make Remus something to eat when you'er hungry so you can share instead of making something just for yourself.

He was so distracted by you he didn’t hear James had been calling his name, only looking over after the third time. “You alright there mate?” Sirius asked, Remus only nodded before looking around at everyone. Somehow his eyes always landed on you.

Once you had made it to the castle and settled in, you all agreed to meet in the great hall. When Remus entered he spotted you by yourself. He watched as you dusted crumbs off of your robes that had fallen from the muffin you was currently snacking on.

He approached you and sat down in the empty space. When you spotted him your face lit up. “Remus.” You said.

“Hello my love.” He said to you.

“God what I would give to kiss you right now.” He was taken back by your response.

You hadn’t seen each other in a few weeks and your newfound boldness surprised him. “I don’t see what’s stopping you.”

“You know exactly what is.” You turned to face him fully looking deep into his eyes. He reached out placing his hand onto the exposed skin of your milky thighs.

“Remus.” You warned him, and he shook his head. “I’m not doing anything.” He smirked at you, pulling you slightly closer by your hips.

You giggled and leaned into his body. “I ever tell you how nervous you use to make me?” He asked, you smiled and shook your head, messy hair bouncing.

“The first time I met you I felt like I forgot how to speak. I was overthinking every word and stumbling over what I would say next.” He told you. “Look at you now only stumbling over every other word.”

He smiled brightly at you, subconsciously leaning down to capture your lips with his, but you turned away. “Not here Remus.”

“Then where? because I’m starting to lose my will every second more.” You stood up quickly grabbing his hand pulling him behind you, and out of the great hall.

You ran around the halls trying to find and secluded area where you could just be with each other.

Finding themselves in the astronomy tower, and when you finally felt safe, you leaned back again a cold brick wall and let Remus warm you up with his body and lips.

He kissed you passionately drowning you in him, and you returned it with just as much love. They shared the same breath, the same air, the same space, the same body, the same heart, the same soul. you both loved deep and hard.

Once you pulled away it was like you were battling for air, and after a few deep breaths Remus spoke. “Merlin, I’m in love with you.” You raised an eye brow. “Who’s Merlin.” He laughing and pulled you into another kiss.

“I love you too.” You whispered between them, kissing him harder.
