What if I put my three favorite Nicks in a room and see what happens. Nicky, my oc, Nicky, from night at the museum, and Nick from The Great Gatsby

Fucking think about it

Each of them is from such fucking different media (a children’s movie, a 20s literature piece taught in school, AND a weird sci-fi story) and it’d just be so funny to see them interact.

Nicky (NATM) would be fangirling over the other Nicky, because he’s from his favorite sci-fi novel. Meanwhile, Nick is freaking the fuck out over Rexy, having a heart attack.

Whenever someone would call their name, they’d all just perk up and be like “yes???”

The only way they’d be able to differentiate between the two Nickys (Nicki?) and Nick is calling Nick Old Sport or Elise (yes I’m keeping my gender-fluid hc for him. Fight me)

And oh man, the things Nick would have to go through. Not only coming to fucking life, but also the culture shock. He’d faint at the SIGHT of a computer. The two Nicky’s would have to catch him up to speed.

Don’t even get me started on Ambrose (also my oc.) He— oh man. He’d be all over Nick. That fucker would slap his ass and call him baby girl. While poor guy is over here like “um…thank you??”

Many factors contributed to my day feeling weird and strangely unsettling, so I sketched these

I also think I’m gonna start putting my URL on most (digital) drawings. Not that it’s being stolen or anything (as far as I know), I just… want people to be able to find me. I don’t really mean because i want the credit, I mean more like… say it ends up on Pinterest or something, and a person sees it and thinks it’s cute and doesn’t yet know who I am. Maybe they want the full collection of my art. I’d want them to be able to check right away who I am, to be able to confirm that they enjoy the artist just as much as the art. And if they don’t for whatever reason, they can hopefully come to a much quicker acceptance of that, having already had all the information from day one.

Oh but on a much brighter note, @crossover-enthusiast I actually sketched John and Jack in the swap mod!

Kinda unfinished but whatever.

The idea I came up with for them is that instead of being bullies, they’re the kids who are always like “hey you’re not allowed to do that dummy” and are very rule oriented. Something I had in mind was that one episode of The Brady Bunch (I am not that old I swear-) where Bobby becomes the safety monitor of his class and it takes him like 2 seconds to become the entire school’s hated sheriff and the kid that nobody likes because he always stops the fun and lays down the law.

I also thought this would make their dynamic with the demon kids more interesting, since instead of both parties being mean, one is affably evil while the other is comically ‘those kids’

I was gonna include Robert and John together, since I figured Robert would actually be John’s uncle in this world, but then stuff happened and I didn’t (STARTED it tho)

The lineup 💪 (about half my Ninjago ocs, as of dragons rising) from left to right, Two-Worlds (she/her), Chloe (she/her), Alcyo (he/him), and Elapis (he/they).

Two-Worlds is a hent (speculative etymological ninjagan term for amphicyonids, aka bear-dogs… google em, they’re pretty cool and not extinct in the Ninjago universe in my mind palace/hc zone) hailing from my friend’s fan-realm called Creatura. She’s not actually supposed to be in a humanoid form, it was artificially induced via magic. Her true form is much larger and much more quadrupedal like other creaturans (who just look like oversized, strangely colored but otherwise normal animals). She prefers this form though because she was raised in Ninjago around exclusively humans and got some body dysmorphia out of it… and as for why she’s a cowboy, it’s because she felt like it. She’s been wandering the merged lands searching for her scattered friends and family.

Chloe is a Fangpyre serpentine, and she looks pretty lizard-y because for some reason Fangpyre are more monitor lizard-ish than snake-ish in my head. She’s got special interests in pop culture and history, particularly human pop culture and ways in which human and serpentine history interact. Girlie is like a walking archive. Since the merge she’s been wanting to digitize and transcribe what remains of non-digitized archives and libraries, as the merge has made her all the more aware of how often natural disasters can destroy physical/recorded history. She’s pretty thrilled that Lloyd’s letting her digitize/transcribe scrolls in the monastery.

Alcyo is a master of an element i Made The Fuck Up for fun: mist. It’s a running gag that ppl (including him way back when) hear there’s elements of smoke and mist and go “…what’s the difference?” lmao. He’s no fighter, but still wanted help/training to use his element, and that’s how he knew Ash. He’s a geosciences guy like me and has been freaking out over . Well. Everything (lol he inspired that post) since the merge. He’s been getting together with ppl like him from across the merged realms (that is, geosci, eco, etc ppl who are as alarmed as he is) in order to document all the shit going on with the planet now as well as try to plan remediation efforts. I imagine governments have been a bit hesitant to work with a rogue group of jittery sleep deprived scientists but they (Alcyo’s ppl) try. I imagine they are the ones making the new maps and shit like that as well. He just wants to go back to his old day jobs and see Ash again. Sorry buddy, you can only have one of those back lmao

Elapis is a hypnobrai who’s been friends with Chloe since childhood. They’re significantly more jaded and pessimistic than she is but they’ve always appreciated her encouragement to pursue music. He probably knows how to play quite a few instruments but he’s usually That Asshole With A Guitar in my brain lmao. He likes learning about other peoples as much as Chloe does though (albeit through music scenes rather than reading) which is why the two became friends. He doesn’t know where she’s gone since the merge and hopes he can see her again one day. He’s found her siblings but not her, and it’s been pretty frustrating. Other than that, they’ve passed the time by jamming with all sorts of people at the Crossroads. Arin and Sora might have seen them around, performing.

And like— Nick is a fucking gamer. Bc ofc he fucking is. So one night he’s playing Undertale and he’s fighting sans or some shit. But he can’t get past him so he rage quits. Jay is over here like “buddy, are you ok???”

Nick is like “no this stupid skeleton keeps HANDING ME MY ASS”

And so Gatsby’s all like “whyyyy don’t you let me try.”

Let me tell you, Nick is hesitant at first. This is the very same man who was raging at animal crossing but he decides “why not??”

He defeats it on the first try. He was all like “AHA! This how you show a skeleton a bad time, old sport.” And just walks off like nothing happened

in the depths of an ancient castle, hidden beneath layers of stone and shadow, there lay a forgotten dungeon where the echoes of suffering was still around. it was here that she found herself trapped, her wrists bound tightly to the cold, metal table. as she regained consciousness, her heart pounded in terror, her eyes adjusting to the dim light that shone above her. standing before her was a sinister figure with a wicked grin twisting his features.

"you've stumbled into my trap, little girl” the man said, his voice dripping with malice. “and now you will entertain me”

her breath caught in her throat as she realized the man's intentions. she struggled against her restraints, but they left her vulnerable to his torture. with a cruel laugh, the man began to approach her, his fingers tracing a small path along her exposed skin. she recoiled at his touch, but he persisted, his touch like ice against her flesh. "you're quite ticklish, aren't you?" he taunted, relishing in her discomfort. he glided his fingers up and down her armpits, watching her fail to pull her arms down in protection. his grin beaming down at her as she pleaded for it to stop. but it didn’t.

hours passed in a blur of agony and humiliation as she endured the man's twisted game until finally, he let up. “now the fun can began” the man said, his smirk growing wider by the second. he picked up two hairbrushes and began tormenting her poor soles. she screamed and cried but this seemed to make the man go harder. he loved watching her suffer.

after another hour of this man’s relentless torture, he stopped. “don’t get too comfortable, darling. you’re going to be here for a very long time. and i’m only just getting started with you”. this was the last thing she heard before she was completely blinded, deafened, and gagged.

Silly little doodles of headcanons for Alain’s siblings :)

The oldest is Lucille, who’s 24. She’s four/four and a half years older than Alain and arguably the closest to him. She used to do performances with her starter Squirtle(now Wartortle), but stopped around high school to focus on school work and getting into college. Currently, she’s a law student and is studying abroad in Galar.

Dorian is the youngest, who’s 12. He’s eight years younger than Alain, making it a little harder for them to connect sometimes, but Alain cares a lot about him and Dorian looks up to him. He’s currently in middle school and is going around Kalos for the league with his starter being Bulbasaur(now Venusaur).

Why do I have Alain’s family set up like this? …Because I forgot that Sycamore is basically his dad when I was 14 and started writing out Alain’s family, and by the time I rewatched XYZ, I was already too attached to their dynamic to really change it.
