my take on the steeplechase trio (and montrose’s mask variants)

#my art #taz #taz steeplechase #since beef is an arm wrestler im kinda entertained by the idea that he keeps it casual from the waist down #but all of his shirts are branded beef punchley shirts #i like to think that all of montrose’s clothes are slightly too big for him because he buys them himself #but doesn’t have the money/resources for a tailor #and he can’t go to dentonic bc his uniform is supposed to be something totally different #i kinda struggled with his mask #but i like the idea that it really is a human face but you can see the edges. the metallic parts of the mask. the little glitches #his skin color is always ever so slightly off #also griffin described his actual face as ‘plain’ so imagine he looks like just some guy. a little babyfaced #while his ‘neutral’ mask is just generically handsome #and i didnt draw that but i think it glitches out sometimes and his face goes all wonky #sorry griffin i took over your boy #emerich was probably the easiest to design he just sprung into my head fully formed #i don’t remember if the give-a-ghost projector is actually supposed to be on his arm #but it is now .#also i would like everyone to think about montrose talking about jesus in that dumbass clean job mask please. thank you

I love Origins and find it's incredibly underrated, but the instant you get to Lacey Towers and find out the entire advertising campaign was a lie and Joker was the main villain once again is just

#like...ok YES every scene with him in Origins is fantastic and imo rivals Conroy and Hammill acting wise #but he didnt need to be the main antagonist! Do what you said you would!#tbh i saw so many ppl including myself hyped that wed see another villain in the spotlight #esp since his death in Arkham City was the perfect sendoff #just make him a side antagonist and keep everything else about him and his scenes #you can easily rewrite Black Mask as the actual antagonist without needing Joker as the main one and i think they pussed out #sloot bitches about things #.arkhamverse #I will also give WB Montreal credit in that they had to make a game bigger than City in the time it took to make Asylum #but why not delay the release until Christmas to polish up the in-engine cutscenes/glitches/story?#since. YOU KNOW. THIS FUCKING GAME TAKES PLACE DURING CHRISTMAS AS A PLOT POINT

i keep randomly mentioning fnaf but i cant rly say fnaf cause english titles dont do well here so i just say "the bear and rabbit" game/movie/thing and stepdad is always like is the rabbit good or bad and the bear is also bad or good and then i want to go into detail because not all rabbits are bad and not all bears are good but he stops listening to me in about 5 seconds every time so i just say something random rinse and repeat. today he asked me about mxes if hes bad since the other rabbit (springtrap) is bad but mxes isnt really bad so i was like no the purple/blue one is good but yellow is bad then thought about william being purple... wait till i tell him theres a yellow bear too

#see i prefer codenames cause when i would say monkey king he always says kong #and i cant tell him theres like 10 rabbits #i once started telling him the fnaf lore couple years back and he kicked me out #wait i forgot about vanny and glitch so theres more rabbits #one time we went to a car show with a game room on the side and one local cosplayer had their springtrap head there as a showcase #and i just had to be like thats. thats the rabbit i made some too and you wouldnt believe this is almost the same character #(springtrap and glitchtrap both being spring bonnie) they didnt get it #they fed me snacks dipped in dry ice while i was staring at springtraps disembodied head
