Yoo, it’s Winky Wink. Since your reader has always been the innocent to a fault type and very motherly, I wonder how tr boys will react if reader is the typical girl in shoujo manga? I am not talking about the protagonist of the shoujo manga, but those fan girls in the bg. This reader is very girly, she follow the trend, knows every hot boys at the school, attend sport gams to meet the star of the sport club and such. Although the toman or the tr boys are good looking themselves, but reader doesn’t see them as men or potential love interest, so she always gushing about how hot this sempai from class b is and such with them. Draken: Much more lenient with gossip than Mikey will ever be, but will not hesitate to punish any rule-breaking on his watch, be it you or the poor student getting dragged into your mess. This boy thinks it probably just a phase, since the brothel girls back home do the same thing albeit with celebrities rather than school boys, and that you will get over it soon, so Draken will be more than happy to indulge you in your complaining and whining like he does for his adoptive family. Lets you rant to him about the latest trends and all the guys you think are hot shots (though be prepared for this blond boy to interject with his own thoughts about the subject and how he could easily beat them all). Enjoys going shopping with you, and will give you his opinion on whether the outfit was appropriate or not, but this boy is already ready to never let you take even a step closer to those disgusting boys. And will absolutely not even discuss the mere idea of you dating them *shudders*. If the Toman Vice Captain hasn’t already had them dragged away and threatened by the rest of the Toman members, Draken will simply redirect you every time you try to go and meet/see one of those “hot boys”. Doesn’t like to have to beat people up in your presence, so he’ll turn you around when you try to make your way to a sports game or another classroom, but if you persist, this boy has no issue simply picking you up, tucking you under his elbow and walk off and out of your school. Plops you onto his motorbike and takes you somewhere else to distract you.

Mitsuya: Understands everything that you are saying and where you are coming from, but already dreading the day that his younger sisters become interested in boys (if ever). Because he already feels horrid that you have reached that phase, can’t imagine having to deal with it another two times, but Mitsuya would never tell you that. This boy is generally pretty level headed and doesn’t like to fight without very good reason, so rest assured that he will not be beating your schoolmates right and left if they don’t give him any excuse to do so. More likely to discourage you from pursuing boys at your school by getting the best gossip scoops about them and letting you in on all the reasons you should stay away from boys like them. And I don’t doubt that he would be against starting those nasty rumors himself either - he didn’t say that he wouldn’t play dirty. At least the one part he really enjoys is going clothes shopping with you, and out of all the Toman founders, you just know the Second Division Captain has the best fashion sense and will never lead you astray. Would even design and make the clothes himself if you let him, because it would be a good excuse to close to him and too busy to attend sport games and all. Of course you will have to spend all your free time with the crafting club and going fabric shopping with Mitsuya, you want your outfits to turn out perfect, don’t you?

Baji: Beats them at their own game. You want a sports star? Guess he’s joining the sport clubs just to show you he can do way better than any other student in the school. Baji doesn’t attend the same school as you? Doesn’t matter either, by hook or by crook, he’ll join your school’s club anyway. Will show you that he is the superior athlete once and for all, and that your so-called hot boys aren’t shit next to him. This boy will even happily humiliate the entire club in the process, bragging that he doesn’t even need training to sweep the floor with them (what he doesn’t tell you is that he secretly practices by himself, but eh). The only thing he won’t be able to beat them at is academics, but he is definitely not below sabotaging the others so that they do worse than him, be it by breaking their fingers so they can’t write, or something more mundane like putting their ‘confiscated’ homework through the toilet while they watch. Doesn’t want to risk losing you over something as petty as him throwing hands with your schoolmates or your disgustingly precious ‘senpais’, so Baji is limited to working around the system. That is, as long as you don’t seem to be getting a tad too close for comfort to any one of them, cause in that case all bets are off. Would try to prevent this by clinging to you as much as possible, but even that has its limits. Baji would happily tag along and clothes shop with you regardless, and will weigh in on what he thinks, though take note that he does not exactly have the best fashion sense - will absolutely start panicking and ask his mom for tips and what the latest fashion trend is before going out with you.

Kazutora: Starts crying immediately the moment you start talking about anyone but him (and well, he makes an exception for the rest of the Toman founders as well he supposes). Straight up just tears up and accuses you of cheating on him, clings to you and refuses to let go until you apologize - doesn’t matter if you are in the middle of class or in the middle of the corridor. Kazutora has an iron grip and strength way beyond what you will ever have, and if this boy has his arms around you, you aren’t going anywhere. If he thinks that the situation was getting worse and out of his control, i.e. you proclaim that you have a crush on so and so sport athlete, he will refuse to let you go to school at all because all those “evil fucks” brainwashing you are there. Would even purposely get you into trouble with your teachers and the school by hiding your homework from you, or messing your classroom up and getting it blamed on you. Which would of course lead to you opting to hang out with him instead, preferably somewhere that was empty of other people so that nothing can steal your attention away from him. Nothing would make him happier than being invited to go shopping with you, but much like Baji, this boy doesn’t exactly have any fashion sense. Will probably insist that the leopard print pattern he favors looks good on you and nothing else, so be prepared to make your own decisions. No doubt Kazutora will go behind your back and beat the living shit out of any guy he thinks is a bit too attractive once his jealousy reaches boiling point, making sure that he breaks whatever is necessary to make them less attractive.

Pah-chin: Doesn’t mean to, but this boy will accidentally give you all the worst advice known to mankind when you do end up whining about wasting your youth. Pah is very unsure about what you talk about or why you want to go and see other students, but this boy doesn’t stop you from doing so as long as he gets to come along. This boy is pretty clueless to say the least, and will resort to asking Peh what he should do when you tell him that your youth was fleeting. Does that mean that you were sick and dying? Oh, okay it means that you are in love - which is a big no no even in Pah’s books. Fortunately with how fierce Pah naturally looks without even trying, no doubt any popular guys are already keeping a wide circle from you whenever he is around. Plus the advice he gives you just scares them away even more, because this boy has no idea what he is doing without Peh there. And you absolutely would not be able to get Pah to leave you alone, this Third Division Captain will attend every single sports game just to make sure that you weren’t trying anything funny. Also another Toman founder that doesn’t have any fashion sense whatsoever, so I would hold off asking for advice on your outfits as well, but upside is that he will absolutely pay for your outfits if you let him.

I was very impressed with the spider monster cgi in the first scene, less so with the animation of John Goodman running away lol. I get that he obviously couldn't do it himself but they could've edited that bit more realistically imo. Xavier: Renegade Angel #10: “Shakashuri Blowdown” | January 14, 2008 - 12:00AM | S01E10

Look, I need to reign it in with these things. These write-ups aren’t good enough for me to be spending all evening on. Luckily, this is pretty light, plot-wise. But it’s a wonderful episode; one of the more memorable ones. SPECIAL, even.

In the opening scene, Xavier vows to find his father’s killer. If you’ve been paying attention, good for you, because there is a little bit of continuity on this show and you are being rewarded right now for paying attention. The “mystery” has been an ongoing joke; clearly Xavier killed his own father in an accidental spirit candle fire. At the very beginning of this episode, Xavier finally learns the truth that he’s refused to learn up until this point: He killed his father. But first, one last comical misunderstanding: his father’s face literally appears in the clouds like so much Mufasa and states plainly “it was YOU who killed me”. Xavier thinks he’s saying somebody named YOO HOO killed him, and starts yelling “YOO HOO?”. Man, what an incredible joke. 

When it finally enters Xavier’s brain that he himself killed his father, Xavier falls to the ground and splits into two Xaviers. There’s a brief but funny interlude where an Xavier (I guess we can call him the real Xavier? - Hey! I just realized that the last episode says “there’s only two Xaviers left” this is probably what they meant!) goes onto a box car to commit suicide with a razor blade to the throat as a way to finally bring the killer (himself) to justice. “I was just about to cut one” he says to some ornery hobos who don’t take kindly to metaphysical beings performing acts of self-justice. One of the bums makes a weird clicky noise that reminds me of Devon the Selfie Slut when he grinds his teeth (enjoy that reference, everyone). 

The bulk of the episode is Xavier eventually running into his other self. They have a spirited back and forth, immediately becoming bitter opponents. This section is GREAT, so many funny lines. I don’t feel like saying any of them. Okay: I’ll say the last one: they finally decide to settle their dispute with a shakashuri blowdown, where they blow their shakashuri at one another, conjuring up magical imagery in a very wizardy battle. One of the Xaviers starts by saying “ladies first”. A title card saying “16 Hours Later” appears on screen; that’s just how bad the other Xavier didn’t wanna be a lady. 

The episode becomes purely visual at this point. It is so much fun. It’s not terribly mind-blowing; the animation is pretty much as good as it has been (meaning that it’s bad), but the ideas are great and there are some funny gags in here as well. I’m not ACTUALLY dogging the episode; I just didn’t wanna give the impression that they suddenly animated the show well, which I thought maybe I had.

The episode ends with a big face in the clouds telling us to write in (without getting specific) to pick the winner. But it turns out that the winner is all of us. And me. It’s me, as well.

hello, everyone. this is yooshi again with her second muse that no one asked for, but i'm very excited to have him here. kwon baekhyun is the "evil" form of jiah, meaning he's a lot more selfish and difficult to befriend, but he interacts with people just as fine. he has a brother, and he's at odds with his parents because they suck. below you can find more about his tragic past that makes him think he's the protagonist of a dramatic anime series.

baekhyun was born into a wealthy family that didn't have time for a kid, but they had one anyway, to please the grandparents and make them look like an ordinary happy family.

he was well-cared for by the babysitters and both sets of grandparents. they adore him and love him.

his family was originally from seoul, but his parents moved to busan before birthing baekhyun. he was often alone because his grandparents would visit from time to time on special occasions. his parents, being the good souls they were, adopted a boy to make him company. that's how hyuntae became part of their family.

baek used to do everything to please their parents when he was little. when he realized it was all for nothing because they were never satisfied by his efforts, he went in the opposite direction. he made his interest in the arts more known, and from his early high school days, it was clear he would follow the traditional path.

baekhyun served his time in the military from april 2019 to october 2020.

he moved to seoul in 2020 and started studying theatre.

in july 2021, he became an lgc trainee.

Hey, hello, hello! I am Sera and you have no idea how ecstatic I am for this place to finally be open ahhh!! ( As a local horror enthusiast... ) I’m going to be reading up on everyone’s information first and then stirring up some plots with you guys! Anyway, without further ado, allow me to introduce you all to the epitome of The Hermit, YOO HANGYEOL (aka Han), the elusive lighthouse keeper up on Hongsi Hill. Find his profile here! BACKGROUND !

Born September 21st (do you remember), 1995 in Daegu

But frequently visited Gwasuwon to see his paternal grandparents

Lived a pretty nice life with his parents and younger sister; unfortunately, his mother had a severe chronic illness and passed away right before he graduated high school.

Enlisted in the military from Jan. 2016 to Aug. 2017 as a marine (was allowed out early because of an incident related to his secret but we’ll get to that later.)

Went to a university in Pohang from 2018 to 2020 where he was studying marine biology, which he always wanted to do as a kid, as well as engineering.

BUT he had to drop out of university to support his family after his father loses his previous job. Wasn’t interested in attending gsw college because of time.

So, in 2020ish, he moved to the island and, thanks to his grandpa, got a job job as a fill-in lighthouse keeper, training for when the old one retires eventually

in addition to being a keeper at the lighthouse, he takes up odd jobs around the island fixing up and taking care of any problems people might have, maintenance or otherwise. he also goes into town to sell the jam, carvings, and other things his grandparents make; typically to tourists and other stores that will sell them just for an extra buck.

He's been facing uncharitable rumors due to not being seen around very often and due to the main lighthouse keeper's own notoriety as being unkind to outsiders. 

There are claims that he must be a hideous, deformed man or elderly and unfriendly often spread around. Particularly since he isn't overly fond of people trying to make trips up to the lighthouse.

That being said, his job is pretty vital for the ferries and ships going to and from the island. And he sees just about everything from his spot. Just about.

SECRET: when he was in the army on a short leave, he was walking with his girlfriend at the time and they were attacked by a man, forcing Hangyeol to defend them... and killing him in the heat of the moment. Because she was a military officer’s daughter, they were willing to sweep it under the rug but to this day, he blames himself and holds a lot of guilt over it, particularly given that he was gonna marry her.

Doesn't have much interest in going out much unless people basically force him to.

He's quite stoic and blunt. 

Comes off pretty badly to new people and takes a while to warm up.

^ he’s just very afraid of getting close to people, fearing that if he does, they will eventually just get hurt. He actually doesn’t secretly hate everyone. He just needs to learn this isn’t the way to do things.

Surface level superstitious, finds views on the island fascinating and to be respected.

A devout Buddhist, a trait passed down to him from his mother. You can often find him at Eunjong Shrine or the Turtle park trying to chillax.

Takes up odd jobs around the island. Usually for the elderly.

Has the tendency to sigh a lot, and picks at his nails when nervous.

PLOTS ?

Just gen ideas. I'm bad at this and Hangyeol doesn’t really interact with many people before the incidents of the rp because of his reclusive nature and fear of getting close to people. But we can work something out. I am definitely open to darker plots and Hangyeol might end up with many plots that are skewed more antagonistic due to his nature (but he’s not really a bad guy).

Childhood friend (either also grew up in/often visited Daegu or Gwasuwon, where he would frequently visit) But he’s been very distant lately.

Someone he first met when he moved to the island officially in 2020. Their relationship is strained now because he doesn’t go out much and always tells them to go away.

Someone who always wants to visit the lighthouse to take a tour of it and he continuously refuses. Please leave him alone!!

Someone who happens find him suspicious, what with his hermit tendencies and all.

Someone who frequently asks him to fix things for him. Alt. they keep messing things up on purpose just so they can have an excuse to talk to him.

Someone he sees actively disregarding and disrespecting the island’s superstitions and mythos. He warns them repeatedly but they never listen.

Someone who keeps asking him out on a date but he keeps refusing. 

Someone he went on one date with and ran away. Goodbye no thanks not interested. 

Ex. He might still be hung up on his ex girlfriend from over 5 years ago idk if any relationship he tried to have from 2020 to now would have been no longer than a month and probably not serious and he probably was a complete asshole on purpose during the breakup (sorry) even though he didn’t want to and there’s still a grudge there.

Drinking buddy. Have a whiskey with him from time to time.

Kind of a dark one, but people try to break into the lighthouse to attempt to off themselves from the balcony all the time. Han frequently stops them because he has a conscious (and doesn’t wanna be haunted). Fortunately, the worst that’s happened is someone got a broken leg because it’s not really that high up......  OR, someone who snuck in that he thinks is going to do it.

It was a summer day at Axle City and Blaze and his gang were thinking about how to enjoy the day

Stripes: What if we go to the zoo?

Crusher: Nah, I don't want to see loud animals!

Aj: To be honest, I was thinking about something refreshing...

Blaze: Me too, let's choose another place to go

Pickle: Wanna go to the Waterpark?

Crusher: WHAT? ABSOLUTELY NOT, I'M SCARED OF HUGE WATER SLIDES!!

Pickle: *laughs*

Zeg: Zeg wants to go to the beach!

Starla: Great idea, Zeg!

Watts: I agree, other's opinions?

Everyone: Yes!!

Then, they've been home to pack their backpacks

Blaze: Guys, have you prepared everything?

Everyone: Yes, we're ready!

Blaze: Then let's go!

They started driving and after a while they arrived at their destination

Stripes: Guys, we arrived!

Starla: Finally some relax! I'll stay under the sunshade, I don't want to get wet

Darington: Gimme space people, I'M ABOUT TO DIVE!!

Gabby: Me and Aj are going to play beachvolley

Pickle: Crusher, would you like to build sand castles with me?

Crusher: Of course, let's begin!

At a certain point, something unexpected happens

Watts: *screams*

Blaze: LET'S GET OUT OF THE WATER!!

Watts had generated many amperes of electricity to shake the water and almost hurt Blaze and Zeg

Zeg: Zeg got very scared!

Watts: *sigh sadly* I'm such an idiot, I was so excited that I forgot that I can't swim in the salt water.... It wasn't my intention!

Blaze: Don't worry Watts, I understand that it was a incident, fortunately we got out of the water very quickly

Zeg: Zeg forgives you

Gabby: Hey guys, aren't you hungry? I brought packed lunch for everyone!

Everyone: *comes to Gabby*

Aj: You're great Gabby, you always think to everything!

The trucks head to the stand and everyone pays for their own surfboard

Blaze: YOO-HOO!! I'M GOING SO HIGH!!

Watts: HOPPIN' HUBCAPS, THAT'S WONDERFUL!!

Darington: It's time to do some stunts, DARINGTOOON!!

Stripes: Rawr, it's a little hard, but I'm learning

Crusher: Oof, same as me, I haven't never surfed until now...

Darington: C'mon guys, it's a walk in the park! Wait... What's happening?!

Out of the blue, a huge wave comes to Darington'side

Darington: *screams* I FELL OFF THE SURFBOARD, SOMEONE SAVE ME!!

Blaze uses his towbar to grab Darington and puts him again on his surfboard

Darington: Damn... Thanks pal!

Towards evening, the group of friends stays a little longer to admire the sunset on the beach

Pickle: Beach sunset is so satisfying!

Crusher: I agree, it's so magic to seem irreal!

Yoo!! One, how are ya doing?? Two, fav animated movies (either just to watch or for animation quality) and three, top 5 fav Dragon Ball characters!!

Yo i just woke up 😹 i’m getting my morning coffee as i type this

Favorite animated movies: Ratatouille is probably my favorite Pixar movie ever honestly 💖 it’s a movie i can sit down and watch any time

My big nostalgia comfort movie is The Secret of NIMH tho 💖💖💖💖 I blame that movie for leading me to eventually find out about furries (also can you tell i like rodents 😹)

Oh! And of course I love a good Ghibli movie! The Cat Returns is my absolute favorite Ghibli movie, Kiki’s Delivery Service was the first one i ever saw, Spirited Away used to give me nightmares as a kid but i still loved it, and The Secret World of Arrietty resparked my childhood obsession for stories of “tiny” people like Arthur and the Invisibles (which is another huge favorite of mine but i didn’t include it cause it’s also part live action)

Yamcha! I thought he was super cool when I watched og DB as a kid, and I STILL think he’s cool to this day I will fight to defend Yamcha my man just wants to live in peace and play baseball. When I saw Yamcha was on the roster for DBFZ I made it a point to make him one of my mains i love playing Yamcha.

DBS Broly! I love the giant berserker puppy. When the movie was still in theaters i didn’t get the time to see it. I only recently saw it for the first time about a year ago thanks to friends and oh my god did i fall HARD for Broly. Not only that, but i now fully understand the concept of a comfort character, because i learned in the most hilarious way that Broly and that movie deadass calms and relaxes me. (I watched it once and my fitbit thought i was meditating my heart rate was so low i went into full on Zen mode 😹)

Gogeta!! I’m including fusions cause i can. I love Gogeeeee he’s my favorite of the fusions he so fun. SSJ4 Gogeta is especially my favorite because he gets all goofy and bouncy and i love him. He’s another of my mains in DBFZ i love him (my usual winning team in DBFZ is Yamcha SSJ4 Gogeta and Bardock)

Aaaah a fifth is actually hard to decide cause i love almost everyone in Dragon Ball 😭 the four above are just my like absolute go-to characters that i adore lol (there’s really only two db characters i don’t like out of the whole franchise lol)

Recs from May & June

I ended up making this one for two months instead of one. In May I started doing Kyudo with my best friend, and so far I'm loving it. In case you don't know, it's like Japanese archery with a longbow. We've yet to actually shoot any arrows, but I'm working hard on getting the technique down and gaining inner strength or whatever! I've also started an internship sorta thing at a daycare, altho I'm in the kitchen. It's chill. I've, as always, watched a few kdramas (surprise) and there were some good ones in there, so here we go:

TV shows

Jirisan

Dudes... I started this show thinking it'd be mostly like smaller stories about people getting saved by ranger on a mountain for various reasons. I was ready for like some human stories and shit. But I was surprised to find out that this show is much more than that. And I loved it! Jirisan is a show about Mount Jiri, and evolves around the rangers of said mountain. They save people from the weather, from themselves, from others. It jumps back and forth between various years, and in the beginning it was a bit confusing, but I quickly managed to make a mind map over the various events. The show has supernatural elements, beautiful nature shots, a serial killer case and coworkers that gotta learn to tolerate and maybe even like eachother. I really liked this show and my words does not advocate well enough for it, but please if it sounds even a tiny bit interesting to you, check it out. I sat during the whole thing and longed to go hiking myself lmao

Monstrous

Not gonna lie, I mostly watched this for Koo Kyo Hwan and Shin Hyun Bin, and it's relatively short. It's a horror web series by the same dude who made Train to Busan, about a rural town suddenly getting cursed by an ancient statue. The story is pretty predictable and doesn't really do anything new with it, but it's shot nicely, and acted nicely, and I think it was worth it anyways!

The King of Pigs

The King of Pigs is a kdrama based on the Korean animated film of the same title. This show was a brutal watch. We follow out two main characters Kyung Min and Detective Jong Seok. Kyung Min lives a relatively normal life with his wife, until one days his supressed memories of his traumatic school years reappear. A string of murders begin and after Detective Jong Seok recieves a mysterious message related to these murders, he sets out to catch the killer. Along the present day plot the show also gives us plenty flashbacks to Kyung Min and Jong Seok's school days. The show is phenomenally acted, especially the child actors deserve praise. Instead of using adult actors for their teen characters, they cast actual teen actors for the roles, and it makes it all so much more real and brutal to watch. I felt so many emotions during this show and a bullying victim myself. There's something extremely satisfying about revenge stories like these, altho I wouldn't simply categorize this show as revenge story. It's way more, and overall it's a tragedy. 10/10 man

Bloody Heart

Watched this one as it aired, and I was originally pulled in by the absolutely amazing cinematography, and stayed for the intriguing political backstabbing. I'll have to rewatch at some point, bc I'm not entirely sure I got the whole political part of the plot lmao, but I understood enough for it to be enjoyable and intriguing. We follow a few characters, the King Lee Tae who ascends the throne after his father who was made king after a rebellion, Park Gye Won the First Vice-Premier (I'm not entirely sure about all these political roles in historical Korean stories) who's helped Lee Tae's father deposing the former king and starting a new dynasty, and lastly Yoo Jeong the daughter of a noble family who Lee Tae wants to marry. Lee Tae wants absolute monarchical power, and believes any action is justifiable to achieve his goals, while Yoo Jeong is a very sympathetic woman who wants whats best for the people on the country.

It's a story of power struggle and court intrigue, with so much drama and a tasteful amount of romance too. Every character is interesting and unique, and I kinda ended up rooting for multiple people at once, despite them opposing eachother lmao.

Video Games

The Quarry

My best friend and I has made it a tradition to play these supermassive horror games whenever they come out, they're some of her favourites, and I too was really looking forward to this one. We played through this together in one sitting (about 11 hours??) and guys, I loved it. It's cliched and obviously draws inspiration from a lot of cheesy horror movies, but that's what I love about this.

You play as this group of camp councilors who are stranded at a camp lodge for a night, and being young people that they are they decide to throw a party. Only there's monsters lurking in the shadows. If you don't know how these games work, you play as each individual character, the POV kinda switches between them, and if you play with a friend like I did, you can divide them between eachother and then pass the controller over to whoever is being controlled at the moment. It's a story with a narrative, that you can affect to a certain extent with choices you make in game. Depending on what you choose, what you say, and whether or not you fail certain QTEs and similar, you can get characters killed or not.

I think the acting and the dialogue in The Quarry was great, it was cheesy, and sometimes really dumb, but they had many lines that had me laughing, and I think it was better than the dialogue in Until Dawn. Each character is played with a real life actor, and I love that the developers even made sure each character had their own unique body model.

Wanna warn and say that the plot is pretty basic, and does use some awful stereotypes of romani people. And also just general TW for gore and violence etc

Cabaret

Went to see Cabaret in Aarhus Teater and it was great, second time I'm seeing Cabaret in general, and it's definitely one of my favourite musicals, and I don't have much to say, I just really like their adaption of it. Despite it taking place in the 30s Berlin, it's sadly still very much relevant today.
