Oh well. Thanks for your interest! I was thinking to share her for a while and I guess it is time.

Her name is Ruby Martin. She's cringe. But I love her.

She has two versions, where she is younger (baby) in her Batgirl period:

Don't be fooled by her cute looks. She's got some dark stuff going on in that little head. But she tries to be good so hard. Please, please give her a chance.

Another variant, when she's older and separated from bats, known as Swallow:

At this point in story she's just angry. Very angry. And cold. Dangerous.

In my head her and Jason are madly in love (though they're very stupid to realize it)

I draw them sleeping A LOT. Idk characters sleeping is my comfort zone.

I will not elaborate on her story just yet, firstly because i'm not confident enough in my storytelling skills. And secondly, because it's not really finished. I keep changing stuff all the time. Maybe if I get comfortable enough and anyone would be interested, I will share some bits of story. The only thing I will add for now is that she's metahuman.

Mostly I'm just having fun drawing her. That's it, folks!!

So happy rn :') My art insta with thousands of followers was hacked a few months ago, and then when I finally got it back, it was reported and deleted by Instagram. My appeal didn't get accepted. My personal account with a bunch of cute videos and memories of all my friends and me, was reported and deleted for 0 reason just now too. Insta is refusing to take any appeals and they have no contact options bc it's all run by robots :') I'm so tired of meta

Ok bear with me this has a Buck/Bucky application but let me tell you how I just fell actually in love with a pilot boy who sent me his notes for a plane that I’m starting training in next week. HOLD ON LOOK AT THIS SHIT. I’m going to explain for the less-nerds here why this has me SWOONing.

Not only are the notes incredibly simple, straightforward, and organized, they are categorized into how the corresponding steps are different when it’s a power-off or power-on approach (power of is a no-engine Cleven, power to idle and gliding in type thing). And that would have be good enough but NOOOOO!!!

There’s a DIAGRAM of the runway with CORRESPONDING NUMBERS TO THE STEPS IN EACH LIST AND THEY SPLIT to step 6.1 and step 6.2 etc to indicate which approach and when these steps happen I’m FUCKING GOING INSANE OK. The DETAIL. So what if I’m giddy like a school girl sue me.

(Ok now just imagine Bucky doing this whole rant when Gale gives him these notes in training? Idk man have a laugh at my expense this is the cutest thing ever to me)

i think the whole big fan accounts. it being a thing is kinda interesting cos they absolutely are a thing just in a different way. To me people like Nora and Bethanie are the phannies on tumblr. I’ve seen asks a few times that Bethanie answered where people have told her they’re parasocial about her, i also remember her posting about how many people recognised her at the wad recording shows. With Nora I see regularly people saying they aren’t even phannies anymore and haven’t been for years but they still follow her cos she’s pseudophan

We’ve shifted away from the fan accounts and the fics etc but the parasocial culture to some blogs is still very much in play

yeah I agree! that’s kinda what I meant when I was saying that well-known blogs still exist but it's not the same as Big Name Fans™ ten years ago. bc like sure there's X blog that everyone in the fandom knows, but there's not the culture there used to be where people would regularly identify themselves as fans of the fans yk? (at least not in a literal way)

Hiii guys.

I've already been out of my mind busy for the past few months, and with midterms happening and my thesis defense soon I may not be super active here for a bit.

As it stands now I'm not leaving this blog. This has been my home for the past few years and I love the story too much to let go. I will assess how I'll talk about Tommy/Phil/Tubbo etc going forwards based on their responses, lack thereof, info on what is and isn't allowed to be said legally, etc.

If you're reading this I love you so so so much. I am at all times overflowing with love for the dsmp/mcyt community and what it's done for me. Some of the happiest moments I've had in my life were because of you all.
