ok i have two answers for this very question 1. i feed off of peoples tears. its just what i do man. its like soy sauce, you can put it on anything 2. i dont think people really genuinely realize how fucking sad mcgucket is. people know "oh its so sad" but they dont really think about how actually dehumanized he was after he lost his mind. with no help, nobody to care about him, and the only attention he gets is when he tries to hurt other people. you would lose your mind too. you would feel hurt too. he will build for anyone who will even talk to him. thats why he build the gideonbot. he just wanted someone to be there for him but there wasn't. not ever. i need you guys to realize this. im really glad those posts took off the way it did, because its really important to me that people dont brush off how horribly he was treated. stan hit him with his car. people vandalized his home. nobody took him seriously. nobody even talked to him. he wasnt a real person to anyone. he just just the town kook. the crazy man. the hillbilly. thats fucked up shit. and that went on for 30. years. think about that. really really think about it. because i think about it. i think about it alot. anyways im glad its working. i might give the ol gucket a break and write about some stan and ford angst i thought of in the shower at some point.

Why dont you tag some of your analysis/discussion posts with rottmnt? Some of them deserve to get traction!!

i go out of my way to avoid main-tagging more negative posts where i talk about mischaracterization or wider fandom behavior or etc, just because i. idk. dont really want to treat this like twitter and get attention off more negative posts? i think its fine to complain but i really dont wanna foster that energy in the wider fandom environment so to speak (+ ive had people get nasty to me when i get more opinionated, and it's not good for me because i have really bad moral ocd and bouts of paranoia. possibly even ptsd about what happened to me in my last community? i hesitate to call it that but. yknow). also there are certain types of people in the fandom that make me uncomfortable (or angry because i think they're just so confidently wrong) but it's not my business to dictate what they enjoy or try to change their minds. misinterpreting a character from a cartoon made for 7 year olds is not a moral failing or anything, and like it's their choice what they get up to. i jst complain about it to my 700 followers that put up with it occasionally here (jesus christ how are there so many of you that havent gotten fed up with me what did i do???)

with more positive posts i just forget or have weird paranoia about being perceived. sometimes my posts still do well when i dont main-tag them.... people will find them if they deserve it (i mute a lot of them when they get out of control though so idk)

btw i think for tadc discussion posts where i ramble abt the show (be it analysis or meta stuff or just me thinking abt it) im just gonna start using the tag Circus Discussion... i was thinking of that tag for a while and it still feels too silly but also its the only one i can think of that isnt SUPER silly. plus its vague enough so i can use it for a wider variety of posts (cus some things i dont think anything like 'analysis' or 'meta' would actually fit, cus its not alwaays really either of those, so i think discussion is more broadly applicable). im gonna work on tagging posts w this cus i have a bit to sort thru :] (this blog has 654 posts and will have 655 when i post this)
