Everyone on here has such cool click clack ideas! like omg!!! I think it’s time that I share the one that I’ve made for an au idea I have, had them for about a week and I love them but I’m still trying to get details down for the au and all, still in the planning stage and like this is my first time really actually doing this.

This au is gonna be on the more body horror side and I would love to info dump about it once my brain gives me more ideas to write down but honestly I think his design for the au turned out good, their modeled after a teddy bear and I tried to make the face and eyes similar to one as much as I could for just concept sketches

A/N: BTW I’m still very much stuck here so I decided to write a lil something about it. (Pardon me, I don’t know the terms for what I should call this)

It’s had been a pretty good day so far, I was sitting next to Noah on one of the sofas in the creative studio where all of desigin for their merch took place.

All of the guys where gather together having a good time after a good day of work. We were drinking our favorite drinks cracking a joke here and there. If I’m being honest I don’t really bring much to the table when it comes to designing stuff but my favorite thing is to hang out with the boys especially Noah, he was one of my favorite people ever.

“So Y/N, what do you think about the designs so far?” Davis asked, he was head of designs here so I appreciated that he even asked for my opinion.

“I really like them, fans are gonna go crazy over them, so cool that this time around you guys don’t have limited quantities so everyone can really get what they want”, I said

“yeah that’s a plus, I’m really glad we where able to do that this time around” Jolly chimed after he took a sip of his drink.

The conversation went on for a little while about random topics here and there . And somehow we ended up talking about true crime which is one of my most favorite subjects.

“Oh yeah! I recently watched a documentary about serial killers” I took a breath “sometimes I can’t believe what a human being is capable of doing whatever the motive is”

Folio looked at me “I don’t know how you can watch all that stuff and not feel sick, you’re so brave”

I chuckled a bit at the comment “my family is big on horror so I grew up watching docs and horror movies”

“that explains it” Nick said laughing

As I went on to explain something else regarding the topic I noticed that Noah really wasn’t involved in the conversation, he was just humming and looking directly at me. I turned my body so i could fully face him.

“hey big boy, what’s got you thinking and smiling like that?” I said intrigued

“Oh nothing” he chuckled

“Please tell meeeee!” I made my best puppy eyes at him, completely putting on second plain the conversation happening in the background. “Are you even paying attention?” I asked.

“Fine I’ll tell you but you have to promise not to make fun of me” he said looking quizzically at me.

“I can’t promise anything” I said looking around to the others getting up from their seats and making their way around the room, but when I looked back and catched Noah’s brown eyes looking at right at me I couldn’t resist “okay fine I promise I won’t make fun of you”

He stared at me with a wide grin “ Oh I was just thinking about how lucky I am”

“Lucky?” I questioned

“yes lucky, lucky to have you.” Noah mentioned

“silly old me?” I said joking

“Absolutely, I’m gonna be honest I haven’t heard anything you said in the last ten minutes but damn did I realize that I love watching you ramble on about your interests” he says laughing “I love looking at how you express yourself and how pretty that face of yours is” he said grabbing my hand.

“im lucky to spend everyday i can with you, and even know the rest may not realize it; they’re lucky to have you in their life as well, even if it’s just in little moments like these.” Noah said adjusting his position.

I didn’t know what to say; heat rose to my cheeks.

“You’re beautiful and I’m so lucky you’re in my life” he said leaving a small kiss on my temple .

I couldn’t resist just giving him the biggest hug, but what he didn’t know is that I was the lucky one to have him in my life.

Talkin about clay under readmore bc im unwell about him.

Clay info is pretty much all here

Clay is trans masc and before this whole thing started he did actually wanted to have a family and whatnot. Of course he sorta cant since the whole "the visitor" thing going on. So thats why hes sorta reallly spoiling the kids that sam brings in (sophie, joel, and rat kid)

Clay was actually sorta a weird average joe, just a big geek with horror stuff! It just that its sorta a big hyperfixation with him and he yaps and yaps and yaps. He was currently trying to find a job before alla this weirdness happened

Is socially awkward with others. Often saying things without thinking and has a loud voice issue.

Has attention issues and will zone out if he doesnt like the topic or the person! Has zoned out during dans ramblings too many times.

He isn't really that close to his family but when the start of this all happened he did message them and tried to call them. But they just never replied to him. He does talk about worrying for his family a few times.

Been hopping jobs, often getting fired and whatnot.

Does not know what he wants to do with his life and by god this situation made things worse for himself. He thinks he wasted his life even if his weird body horror obsessed self dream came true

Does seem sorta really weird when you first meet him, due to how attentive he is but he just likes noticing small things you do! + socially awkward lol

Hes actually very lucky in the sense he hasn't got hurt that much and sets traps to defend himself and try to stun cursed with his camera. So game wise, he has killer agility! But to even it out he does sorta have shitty defense. He would be a good sorta counter attacker/support type of person. Basically help trying to inflict stun and then attacking or setting up a trap and let someone attack him and BAM get hurt yourself. I am still thinking game wise but like he is smart and lucky as hell with surviving due to being a big fan of horror games fhdh

Has no sense of danger until the ending of the game and if hes in your party to fight. He really does enjoy the body horror and just gets oddly excited about seeing the cursed! And i also said hes deadly lucky with his encounters. Only thing that really bugs him is how the children are roped into this and it kills him inside. If hes recuited and was brought to the tooth family he would probably cry about the younger brother.

I ship him with hellen and leigh due to him being a horror fan, hellen is actually pretty nice with kiddos, isnt really disturbed with Leigh. And just oddly interested with both. He does personally like them and enjoy hanging out with them! Poly shipping go brrrrr

Tempted to make a special event with him where he could be a cursed if hes left alone in the apartment. I got a design in my head that would include glass, cameras, and stuff like that. But im still working on it!

Has a big eating problem where he doesnt eat much normally. Little event happens with sam and him where sam notices and basically tries to help him eat more which oddly helps

Favourite girl: A tricky one as I like most of the girls in the game, but I'm going to have to go with Kara ❤️ I have a soft spot for her and her story in general (which you might not guess given my crippling Reed900 addiction. It's not that I don't love my girl, I just tend to write post-pacifist stories and aus-- meaning i am very much headcanoning that she is far away from Detroit living her best life in Canada)

Favourite boy: If we're going purely on canon? Connor. If we're going fanon? His PS5 upgrade any day of the week baabbeeyy (nines cyberlife i love you please one chance)

Least favourite character: Zlatko (although Todd also sucks)

Favourite ship: **SLAPS REED900 BUTTON AGGRESSIVELY** i just think they're neat (detroit evolution permanently altered by brain chemistry. ive never once looked back)

Least favourite ship: Hankcon—although absolutely zero disrespect to anyone who enjoys it!! I just prefer the familial or platonic angle :)

Favourite side character: Does Luther count? I am uncertain if he counts as he is such a key player in the Kara story. If yes, my boooooyyyyyy. My sweet underrated masterpiece

If not, then Ralph. I love this lunatic and his succulent culinary skills (he was the best guy ARRRROOOUND. WHAT MURDDAHHHH)

Favourite theme/soundtrack: This is an unbelievably tricky one for me as pretty much the entire soundtrack is gold. Buuuuuttttt im going to go with Hostage and the rooftop chase music tied for first. Connors story truly has some bangers

Honourable mentions for the Opening Title music and Kara and Alice's escape theme.

Favourite chapter: You know what? I'm going to say it. I think we peak early with The Hostage. It is an insanely great hook to draw you in, getting you super excited for the rest of the game. At least it did for me

Is it a tutorial chapter? Yes. But DAMN if it's not a GOOD one. It serves its purpose perfectly in introducing Connor and his story and i really, really admire that about it. chefs kiss 🤌

Honourable mentions for the The Nest and Crossroads

Least favourite chapter: I passionately hate Jericho. I'm sorry to any fans of that chapter but I just can't do it. The replayability is awful for me. It's a tedious slog finding that graffiti every single playthrough

Favourite platonic relationship: Again, with these the fandom brainrot is real. If we're going purely based on the events we see in the game? Connor and Hank as a platonic/familial type bond. If we're going fanon, then Tina and Gavin have my whole heart.

I know we see them together in game—but i will never not adore the way the fandom expanded on their relationship. they are best friends for life. mlm and wlw solidarity

Favourite design: Zlatkos Creatures

Is it horrifying and is Zlatko an irredeemable bastard man for what he's done? yes. absolutely. but i simply can't look away. im a sucker for nightmarish/horror adjacent imaginary and *damn* is it done well with these guys. I want to give each of them a gentle kiss and tell them its going to be okay

Honourable mentions for Lucy and Ralph—they both also look incredibly cool (basically i have an intense appreciation for damaged androids huh)

Least favourite design: I don't really have one? If I had to pick though, I am not a big fan of the eden club outfits. love the body glitter detail (if some of them have that? it could have been a trick of the light or i simply imagined it) but there's something about the """uniforms""" that i don't find very appealing. a bit sports/swimwear adjacent?

then again i appreciate the chapter and its designs for not going AS explicit as they could have gone. given the 'oh yikes' elements that are already at play

Favourite scene: oh man don't make me pick. there's SO MANY incredible moments

that being said, i really like the bridge scene. its such an iconic visual with hank holding up the gun to connors head. there's a silhouette version of it on a poster that i have hanging in my hallway, so i think im legally obligated to pick it

Also just all of the deviation scenes. Breaking through that red wall is an insanely cool, striking visual every time

Least favourite scene: Todd hitting Alice is an extremely hard watch for me. I picked up that gun with the intention the kill (no questions asked) during my first playthrough. I was not about to let that shit slide

first off - this is 100% a return to form for starkid for me. tgwdlm was like. lighting in a bottle but i really, really am not a fan of black friday - so i dipped after that, and never really looked into nightmare time etc. as i'm not super into the hatchetfield eldritch lore stuff - honestly, i figured i was aging out of it. THAT SAID. holy shit. npmd is brilliant

every single goddamn song is a banger. every one. it's so rare for me to like everything at least to a little bit, but when i can interchange my entire top 5 you know it's brilliant. high school is killing me, nerdy prudes must die, dirty girl, hatchet town...all top tier starkid in general. up there w tgwdlm

angela giarratana and will branner steal this entire show. absolutely insane stuff from both of them. will in particular...oh man. it's his show and you just KNOW it

 i will say i wish this maintained the more straight slasher vibe of the first act all the way through but that’s just personal preference since i'm less into the overarching eldritch lore stuff as mentioned. with that in mind though, i didn't find the lords in black stuff as jarring as i thought i would (and the summoning's a banger) - so it works narratively. i think at the end of the day i prefer my standalone shows - not everything needs to be an extended universe - so i was pleasantly surprised at how relatively well this could function as its own thing.

following that - i think this is the closest starkid's gotten to like, off-broadway quality - with plot modifications i could 100% see it making the jump. the production quality - of both the musical itself and the proshot, is amazing - everything pops, it's incredibly polished and just looks brilliant (again, such a step up from BF.)

shoutout to the costume design in particular. top tier work again. ghost max looked crazy good.

for something that in actuality didn't get a lot of focus...can’t stop thinking about how the whole max jagerman grace chastity dynamic is like the absolute HARDEST thing to randomly come out of starkid. the implicit themes had absolutely no right to go that hard!!!! it’s a silly horror comedy!

devout repressed christian and a boy that thinks he’s god. and then she deals with the first sign of sexual attraction to him by killing him??

and then his ghost comes back for vengeance, viewing it as divine justice - and then she ends the musical enacting her own vengeful divine justice?? straight up with modified reprise of his song?? they’re one and the same?? the prayer motif???

“will you pray for me / when i’m gone / or is this the eternal dark without a dawn” and “who will pray for you / when your body’s gone” is like the rawest motif of all time and it’s in the same musical that has an ten minute long barbecue joke sequence unrelated to the plot

nothing sexier than the motif of killing god and god killing you, in general. i do think i loved this one because it played with a lot of my fave tropes and themes of horror - high school slasher, archetypes, coming back wrong, religion, all that

anyway this whole thing just felt like we've unlocked...i dunno, a new level of starkid?? i was blown away and i'm sure for those more invested in hatchetfield beyond tgwdlm it hit even more, but it's left me so excited to see what's next from them for the first time in years.

I can go a bit deeper, of course! Warning for the fact that this does get pretty sad and heavy, sorry :(

So Santo Berço really is gone. Equipe E destroyed it. The effects that Thiago is now dealing with are essentially mental scarring: a mix of normal human PTSD with a paranormal "flare" to it. The Symbol has seared itself not just onto his back but onto his mind as well. His dreams of the Symbol are due to trauma and the fact that, just as he suspects, he was never meant to escape it. It is stuck with him now. Anything touched by Death cannot go back to the way it was before, after all.

I kind of like to think about his mental state in terms of Ordem's "sanity" system as well. He recovers plenty of "sanity" while in injury recovery, since he's given time to rest, away from stressors. Eventually, he starts to do work for the Order again, but he quickly learns that he can't handle stressful, paranormal events like he could before (systems-wise, he has a permanent de-buff/disadvantage in the sanity checks) and missions---even the short one he starts out with---just put too much strain on his body. So, he winds up becoming part of the Order's cover-up team, helping fudge official reports and write up those "logical explanations" that Veríssimo sometimes references.

It's a role that's...much easier on him, after everything he went through. He does notice a pattern between his stress and the frequency of the Symbol dreams, so it's much better this way. He will, on rare occasions, help his friends out in the field with intel gathering (perhaps encountering a Horror on the way, which is never fun), and with he gets to serve as a sounding board for Liz's investigations, both her personal ones and the ones she does with the Order.

There are...other effects of the symbol. That he doesn't like to talk about. He's taken a sickly comfort in swirling designs, ever since he woke up in that hospital; back when he dealt with the nightmares on his own, before Liz and the others knew about them, he used to go to bed with reminders to himself ("Your name is Thiago Fritz, you live in São Paulo with Liz, she's in the bedroom upstairs...") written on his arm surrounded by swirls in the hopes they might calm him down enough to think and read it. He ponders his father's pocket watch more than he should, taking solace in the even, steady tick of time moving at the right pace as much as he does watching the second hand go around and around. He finds himself tracing circle after circle after circle with his finger when he's lost in thought or anxious about something...

He finds himself taking comfort in it. The Symbol. The thought makes him feel ill.

Over the months between osnf and opd, his mind slowly starts to deteriorate. Anything touched by Death cannot go back to the way it was before, after all. The frequency of the dreams has always been correlated with his stress and thus fluctuates, but on average they start to get more frequent, and the more intense ones happen more often, and it slowly gets worse, and worse, and worse until---

---he "zones out" one day, thinking of the Symbol. Thirty seconds, nothing much, it must just be on his mind. Then, he starts to fully disconnect from his surroundings, in his own head, pondering the Symbol for a minute or two. The white void starts to creep into his vision sometimes, reality losing meaning and definition, for several minutes at a time. Minutes turn to an hour, two hours, more, if no one is around to pull him out of it.

Thiago, as much as he hates to admit it to himself, is very, very tired. His mind and body are worn out, abused, overused. The thought that he's been living on borrowed time ever since Santo Berço comes more often than he'd like. At the worst of times, he feels like he's orbiting and closing in on some final, finite point. But he'll never tell his friends this because he knows it'll scare them because fuck, it scares him too. (Though, the times where it doesn't scare him are...even worse.)

il admit that im not really a fan of the analog horror series by unknowingly but its something i dont mind existing and it really isnt something i would be mad of unlike apparently some people who are just pissed of it for some reason but i didnt want to go take a deep look onto the drama but the suitmation trials and the man in the suit series concepts really arent my type of horror when it comes to godzilla or kaiju in general plus the man in the suit sounds like my old concept of a mutated William afton i made for one of my friends who is a big fan of FNAF where william afton's body deforms and morphs into the springbonnie costume (like glitchtrap) becoming a fleshy rabbit man! I much prefer body horror such as godzilla being such an eldrich mutated fleshy creature with undescribable body parts and have extra body parts where they shouldnt even be like this old godzilla i made

this is my own Hell Godzilla concept it is a manifestion of the sins of humanity and it is a 200 meters tall bipedal amphibian like creature composed of just flesh and bones with many eyes and mouth on its body and its atomic breath is a bright white liquid like beam that disintagrades anything it got caught and can shoot its from its two headed tail and each of its footsteps consumes anything such as organisms aswell as inorganic stuff like houses or debris as they will stick onto its fleshy skin and being consumed, all humanity can do is pray to have a painless death and hopefully everything will end!

but yeah i had alot of fun designing this horror godzilla of mine and hopefully some of y'all would love it! ^w^

but doing something like ludwig the acursed would be cool for angst/comfort points and the sheer power of reader being that and having the moonlight greatsword (idk if that's the correct name but it's the super big green glowy sword that shows up in most soulsborne games and you can get it after defeating ludwig i think)

Oh yeah I know that thing, man that moment where Ludwig goes from a beast to something similar to what he was was SOOOO COOOL. And yeah I can deffo see reader being some kind of monstrous beast before something snaps their mind back to human.

As far as monsters go, I really love the one reborn and Ebrietas character design, but I'm also a fan of body horror lol.

so like this is actually super funny to me lol because everything you just described has been EXACTLY how I feel about sports (especially regarding American football fans in the United States). I've actually joked a couple times already about how (thanks to this poll) I finally understand what the big deal about the Superbowl is. In fact, over the last week, I've felt a kinship with overworked cashiers who use their fifteen-minute breaks to check the score throughout the day. Every time one of the previous polls taken an unexpected swerve, please picture me jumping up and down and hollering at my computer like I'm some middle-aged white dad yelling at some referee. 😆

My state has two college football teams, both with avid fanbases, and people get SO up-in-arms about it. Even after finding out I have no interest in sports, people have threatened to commit bodily harm against me if they ever catch me wearing merch of the wrong side's team. To be honest, I'm with you — I've always found that kind of attitude to be super aggressive and needlessly rude. Unfortunately.... 😖(insert my walk of shame lol) I have recently acquired an understanding of the psychology behind it....

In other words, I think your confusion is very similar to my confusion about sports. Sports fans, especially in my state, always seem like they would really consider it a dealbreaker if I wear the wrong merch or that they would really punch me in the face if I show support for the wrong team (which does happen to people at some sports games, but I think it's a minority of sports fans who would ever do that). Most of the time, if you get upset by jokes like that, the other person will drop the act and reassure you. But sports fans will never admit they're kidding. 🙄

Anyway, with that context, I think you first must untangle the phrase "people take [shipping polls] so seriously." The truth is that we're not taking it seriously, but, like sports fans, our humor and social cues are probably difficult to read. Especially for someone not "in on the joke," we might look like we're all upset and riled up. We might say things that sound serious and aggressive. But inwardly, we're actually all laughing about it. None of us really care about the results, we're just here to have a good time playfully arguing our sides.

You're probably still wondering why anyone would find enjoyment out of this, so I think it will help if you re-contextualize it into a framework more familiar... Why do people enjoy roller coasters when the purpose of a roller coaster is to trigger your body into a fight-flight response? Why do people watch horror movies or go into haunted houses when the purpose of them is to scare the shit out of people? Why do people enjoy watching or listening to true crime drama when the stories showcase the most barbaric and cruel forms of human nature? Why do people read AITA threads on Reddit, even though they often depict the wildest examples of abuse/toxicity/etc. in human relationships?

It's because all of those examples allow a person to experience stress/terror/anger/etc. in a way that is safe. Roller coasters don't actually kill you. Horror movies have a pause button. Scary things in haunted houses are the work of prop designers and actors. True crime media and AITA threads involve stories that are happening to other people, not you. Similarly, in shipping polls, I think people enjoy having a safe way to channel their feelings about fandom rivalries in a way that is mostly harmless.

Whatever the reason for our enjoyment, however, I think once you realize that none of us actually care about the results, everything else starts to click into place. But here's some answers to your other questions:

Why do we care about the results when they're never accurate? Because we never cared about the results in the first place, hahaha. We care about what's funny. We care about what makes for the juiciest drama. (I mean, think of how funny it was when that final bracket on the Best Star Wars Character poll resulted in victory for Sebulba instead of Obi-Wan! Lmao!) In short, accuracy is boring. Bribing, cheating, and begging in order to skew results is hilarious.

Why are we so mean and hostile to each other? Because we're not actually being mean and hostile to each other.* We're teasing each other. The same way as two best friends might tease each other (example from one friend to another that I literally saw this morning: "oh my god you are SUCH a nerd 😂"). That kind of teasing doesn't work if somebody cares about the subject matter (for example, that joke would NOT be okay if the aforementioned "nerd" had ANY negative feelings about that word). But in the right circumstances, this kind of teasing can feel REALLY good, REALLY fun, and even increase feelings of security within the friendship! In shipping polls, people are probably just exhibiting the communal version of this.**

Why do people care so much about the winners? I don't actually know the answer to this because this is my first time ever enjoying a ship poll, and we haven't gotten there yet. 😅Someone feel free to pitch in.

Why do they happen so often? Probably clout. Beyond that, in order to make a poll, someone has to genuinely be curious about the results. They can theorize, but they can't know what the outcome will be. Not only that, they have to remember that tumblr polls are all fun and games (or else, imagine how incredibly infuriating it would be to see people trolling). People who want accurate results don't use tumblr polls for a reason; they use official surveys instead. In this shipping poll, OP wrote a rule for each round that the results weren't meant to be taken seriously. So I think they enjoy it for the same reasons as we do. In closing, it's been fun, but I don't think another poll like this will similarly compel me. This has just been a one-time thing that I was able to enjoy because of certain circumstances that overlapped with my interests and sense of humor. In truth, I get just as annoyed at the frequency of these polls, and I will likely need a lifelong cooldown after this one concludes. 🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

June is a weird little freak who actually enjoys and finds comfort in the mundanities of like... math. and business. (They're an accountant) It makes them feel like there's some order to their life and they find it relaxing. Absolutely bizarre. Of course, the root of their enjoyment of that is that it's sort of a destresser, so they also really enjoy getting to hang out with their friends, now that they have some that actually know them and are cool with them being a werewolf.

They are NOT a fan of interacting with anyone in a position to scrutinize them-- police, formal monster hunting organizations, stuff like that. At heart they are just some guy who doesn't like confrontation and doesn't really know how to deal with the scrutiny of mundane authorities. On a mundane note, since their senses are pretty strong, they are not a fan of strong smells and thus something like. Filling up the gas in their car sucks a little.

They have a paradoxical relationship with people relying on them-- on one hand, they love to feel like they can support and pay back the loyalty and kindness of their friends, but on the other hand, they are terrified of dropping the ball and letting people down, especially in life or death situations. This fear has come true several times, so they're currently kinda wrestling with a bit of an aversion to/guilt when it comes to taking on responsibility for others wellbeing-- they'll keep doing it tho <3

More or less, yeah actually!! This is the first image I ever drew of June, (left) which isn't too different to my latest ref for them (right.) Looking back I definitely prefer the flowers on their jacket to be smaller. Gotta shrink those back down!

something that HAS changed about their design is a consequence of in-game events-- basically a large scar from getting blasted by undistilled magic from something called the wellspring. There was an instance in the mystery where this occurred where our gm described our characters sort of like.. mutated, messed up reflections as viewed through this magic, and in it described June as scaley green, so the "scar" they ended up with from getting blasted by it I interpreted as patches of scales :]. Makes hospital visits and beach days a little tough as you can imagine.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Well!!! June is my motw character and ofc was made for that purpose-- I'm a huuuuuge lover of monsters, spooky little guys, and generally fucked up characters, and so especially in a game where you're often going to be in conflict with those, I knew I wanted to make a character with the monstrous playbook.

I made them a werewolf ...... honestly mostly out of spite. LMAO. I have BIG problems with a lot of media depictions of werewolves, and thought this would be a great opportunity to do my take on a monster who I previously overlooked or didn't like because of how they were depicted in other stuff. In practice, they were definitely a combo of my own opinions about what would make a cool werewolf (a little uncanny, a little uneven and body horror-ish (it's a bit hard to tell in some pics, but they are kinda asymmetrical-- one sides a little more human and one's a little more wolfy,) mix of fangs and tusks and human teeth, overall monstrous silhouette rather than like. Actual Wolf or Hairy Guy With Slightly Strange Face)) and some traits about how they work drawn from medieval depictions and folklore (such as their time-frozen status, and the general Vibes of their look) :,3. I think it worked out very well personally, June is one of my favorite characters ever ever ever <3

Gosh i love seeing all those fun and cool monster designs!! They are so lovely and fun and I adore the shapes and how ypu draw the weight on the different styles of anatomy each monster form has!! (I adore big monsters, like i love it when they are gruff and intimidating but they look so soft and cuddly!! Im also a lil bit a fan of body horror monsters...but my top two are werewolves and harpies, harpies that arent just basic human body with wings but like Sophie's dream from howls moving castle like monsters and giant bird body with clawed thumbs on the end of the wings. I have my own werewolf oc and harpy ocs and they just make me v happy.)

I don't know why that's the case? Like my brain completely forgets what I had of them. And there's also the fear of not getting to every character/every version of a character.

Yeah, I really love those type of details because it really does bring so much out of a character and it makes them feel real.

I love to give my characters small facts, like Darnell is good at playing the trumpet, Roslyn [and also Darnell] is good at singing, Roslyn was the one that got Darnell to be affectionate because in the beginning of their relationship, he wasn't really a touching type, he was more of action, but now he loves to hug and kiss his girlfriend and being extra sappy!!

Things like that is what I get too attached to with my characters!!! 😭😭💕💕💕💕

My type of aesthetic is more of time period. Mostly things from 50s-80s. Those type of stuff are very pleasing because the style and color, they're just so fun looking and there's so much you can do with a setting that takes place there.

Like I made a Rockabilly AU about monsters vs Greasers and I had so much fun writing that with my friends and I should really get back to that.

I also love the Western aesthetic too. It's that Texan in me, I can not help it... plus you can do so much with that concept... for adding fucking monsters in it, bapy, WWWOOOOO--

Dude, mikey, I can't believe I was procrastinating on this tasty stuff! I remembered you loving the movie, including some other stuff, but I got around to watch the trilogy series on Tubi and FUCKN HELL (/pos)!! *slams hands down* First off, one of my favorite fictional blorbos is voiced by Jeffery Combs, and he also voiced Scarecrow from "Batman: The Animated Series" (ik jonathan was voiced by a different guy, but I'm mostly talking about his third final design in the show where he looked like a goddamned corpse) my second favorite blorbo whom I'm not fixated on rn, but you get the idea.

Secondly, I had NO idea that Re-Animator was based on a book created by H.P. Lovecraft (one of my fave authors + BIG ass fan of fourth dimensional eldritch octopi from space lmao) cuz I love his work. But lastly but not least, THE FUCKING GORE AND BODY HORROR AND BRUTALITY AND GROTESQUE SCENES 💜 If you know me, I am A LITERAL FREAK for brutal gore and I also adore the medical science in Herbert's area. I love how the first movie is a normal level of brutal, but the SECOND MOVIE amps it up to fucked up creations of Dr. West's work and showing meat and organs galore.

Speaking of Dr. Herbert West - I already love him. i am so glad you asked (warning: you have unleashed a dark and terrible force that is an english major talking about their oc's).

#my boys = two characters from a speculative sci-fi horror world. they both entered a clinical trial for a vaccine to prevent this supernatural(ish) mutation/disease, only for the treatment to accidentally make them functionally immortal. one (cassidy) starts finding new creative ways to kill himself as a hobby and the other (percival) is still moping about his wife from decades ago (she left him because he was stealing dead bodies to use for his own science experiments). anyways the two of them are horribly, disastrously in love and physically unable to be normal about each other.

#the boy = started as a short story but will hypothetically be part of a larger narrative eventually. scottish hunter named alistair in the late 1600s starts selling stuff to a vampire to help provide for his daughter, only for the village to turn on them because they suspect the daughter of witchcraft, so they kill her. he becomes a vampire himself as a sort of "punishment," believing he must earn his right to die by atoning for what he did to her. all the other hot vampires want him but he is so emotionally unavailable it is not even funny.

#my doctor = my dnd character in an ongoing campaign im in. his name is doctor amana, first name doctor last name amana. he is also a doctor. his lab "partner" (they're basically husbands he's just in denial) went missing one day just as they began researching something really dangerous. he has also been banned from the university he worked at for blowing up a building and webbing the president to a wall. :)

#cock tag = this one is most recent/i had multiple posts explaining it but. how could i ever pass up an opportunity. call of cthulhu (CoC, get it now?) scenario my friends and i did that we all proceeded to go genuinely insane over. sci-fi horror about a rescue mission sent to a space station but Oh No eldritch horrors beyond our comprehension! my character i am usually posting about (and my beautiful princess with a disorder) is dr. alana h. fenwick, a software engineer who designed this AI (the cool "gained consciousness" kind) called CAIN that she fell in love with. her husband figured out he was getting cucked by literally a voice in his wife's computer, he tried to become a cyborg to please her but we ended up killing him, and then the manipulative station AI/eldritch abominations slut shamed her for wanting to fuck that robot. but it's ok because they survived and #lovewins. it was very awesome and i am so normal about her always.

im tired of this sickness called 'i dont know how to art very well but i still want to share my headcanons' so im overcoming it by,,, just sharing my headcanons via writing,,,,,

So yeah the demon brothers are too bishonen for me so here's a kinda monsterf*cker rendition of them. Im also a horror fan so i wanted to make em scary hee hee

Lucifer

At first sight, he has a crown of sorts, made from black glass, protruding from his head, where cherry red blood is always dripping, the wound never closing down

When you get a little closer though, you figure out that the sharp shards of glass have a slight round edge to the ends, it's his halo, he tells you one day, when he fell it broke in pieces and stuck to his head. He could've easily taken it out, but he decided against it, this was who he was now, and he wanted everyone to know. His brothers couldnt look at his face for weeks, too shaken up by the gory display on his head, but they got used to it over the years.

The most human looking out of his brothers, except for the wounds and scars of course. Silently wonders if his curse is to be permanently reminded of the creature he used to be, and the fact that he will never quite look like he belongs in the devildom.

His demon form is something else entirely, gone is the charming gentleman with salt and pepper hair and blood dripping down the side of his face, replaced by something much, much more incomprehensive

Think of a biblically accurate angel mixed w a lovecraftian monster, big and impressive and quite honestly, terrifying

Thought very long and hard abt how to incorporate the peacock aspects in his design but i didnt come up w anything besides his clothes lmaooo

I thought of a lot of renassaince depictions of lucifer, always the most beautiful angel, even as he falls, so i think it makes sense that he's the most human looking and tries to resemble a demon as much as he can, he Is in a position of power after all, he needs all the respect he can get.

Mammon

i KNOW mammon is supposed to be a crow, but his demon form resembles a dragon too much for me to think of him as anything else

Sharp, SHARP teeth, but next to Levi he looks like the nicest dog in the block

His ears are also sharp, almost everything about him is sharp (his nails are also sharp 😰 but he clips them dont worry 😚)

His sclera is yellow and his pupils are slit-like, he never really liked his eyes so he uses his tinted yellow sunglasses to kinda, play it off. Since they're tinted it looks like his sclera is just white hehe

Can't breathe fire but he does blow steam from his mouth, so, uh, careful if you get him too angry or too... excited?

These are just assorted headcanons but mammon has a lot of piercings, especially on his ears (they're pretty long so he has space to spare), i also see him having snake bites below his mouth he just looks really good with those

He has a smaller scar on his right eyebrow from the war, he does like the look though, makes him look 'tough' in his words

His hair is super fluffy though, no one knows how

He fits th dragon fursona (lol) bc dragons are stereotypically associated with gold, and idk i think hes just cool. I would have made him a bird boy but dragon mammon was calling to me

Leviathan

Has a lot of hidden surprises, at first sight he's just an incel with a serpent tail and even that is hidden from plain sight.

As he starts getting more comfortable around you you see him talk more and you notice stuff about his mouth. Namely, his forked tongue, his full set of extremely sharp, shark-like teeth, and, you know, the fact that he has at least fifty something in there

Due to this his mouth is wider and bigger so he's not very fond of smiling for pictures or just laughing in public in general :(

Has fins instead of ears but most of the time theyre covered up by his mullet. Also has gills

Has several scales/markings on his body that glow in the dark, this is based on some deep sea fish that need to have these type of things to survive on the depths! He has some on his forehead and thats another reason he has longer hair lol

Yeah his d*cks glow too im sorry

Cuter headcanon but he likes being in his room with no lights on bc of this, he's his own gamer lights

Also has slit pupils and blinks vertically. Actually thinks this one is cool because he freaks mammon out when he blinks

He can stay very, very still for a moment and then move extremely fast. He usually does this to scare you but also just does it in general

It's worse in the water. He is literally made to be in it, so just pray he never plays marco polo with you.

His tail is out 24/7 but he usually curls it up on his torso or his leg when he's out in public, has a lot of scales leading up to it along his back

His form is pretty high maintenance, his skin gets dry quickly and his tail sheds once a month and he has way more teeth he needs to wash and its not fair-

Spent a century in the sea so when he finally reunited with his brothers and finally saw what he looked like he just kinda freaked out about his appeareance and never got used to it, he feels like a monster.

General headcanon but levi is chubby and you can pry this one out of my cold dead hands

He's a gamer boy (tm) and a literal shut in and also he needs it to survive colder temperatures in water so yeah levi is chubby he told me himself

Satan

The least human looking brother, since he was born from Lucifer's pure hatred, he is the closest thing resembling a demon

He has black ram horns and a segmented, bone like tail out at all times.

His eyes resemble goat eyes and theyre bright green, very noticeable

HAS NO NOSE, he just has that upside down heart thing like a skull. Hes real life sans (jk)

The tips of his fingers are black, mammon teases him and asks him if he enjoyed erasing the board with his fingers lol

When he takes out his shirt, you can see his ribs, and not in a 'skinny' type of way, you can literally see his ribs like his torso is a damn xray, thankfully he becomes more corporeal as you go down so you dont see a lot of organs but its still freaky

Mammon is sharp but satan is boney AND sharp, he's scary ngl

Has satyr legs. Like straight up those goat like mfs with hooves and everything, not gonna lie he pulls them off.

He's scary which is so much more jarring when you realize that he's the more civilized brother next to his siblings

Asmodeus

When you see him the first time you think he's a human. But when you get closer you immediately figure out that something is wrong.

You dont know what it is though, he doesnt have bleeding wounds like Luci, or yellow eyes like Mammon, or shark teeth like Levi, so what's up?

As you start to interact with him more you notice certain things, like the way his whole body seems to tremble when it's getting late, or how he seems like a blur when he moves too quick, or how his height changes nearly everyday

Asmo shapeshifts, it's one of the reasons he's so popular, he's very confident in all of his forms and likes to experiment with them, but his favorite is the one he uses most often, the strawberry blonde with the dreamy eyes. The way he looked back at the heavenly realm

It isnt a perfect form though, none of them are, all of them are too perfect to resemble a human, think of the uncanny valley when you imagine them. Like a living doll or some kind of android, its popular in the devildom but you dont quite get it.

It does however take a lot from him, he NEEDS his beauty sleep at the end of the day, maintaning a form throught the whole day is exhausting

In reality, he's quite literally a shapeless mass. A pink blob that sometimes tries to shape itself into its old form, but never finishes materalizing. He can keep a basic human silhouette in this form but dont expect a lot of details except for his eyes, which are unchangeable.

If you get to see him in this state then consider yourself someone he trusts, not everyone is allowed to see behind all the glam and glitz

Beelzebub

Looks like a rotting corpse, a chunk of his cheek is missing so you can see his teeth and constantly has bugs surrounding him

Normally it's flies but once in a while he finds a maggot somewhere and you almost faint

Has lots of bandages covering his body because his skin is very prone to opening up

It doesn't hurt him or faze him but it heals very slowly and it is annoying, especially when he works out

He doesn't smell as bad as he looks though, it's mostly cosmetic.

His wings are always out, the other brothers have to go on demon form to use them (if they even have them lmao, levi is still salty about that)

One of his eyes is like a fly's eye. Its completely orange and segmented, idk if im explaining myself well but u get it

His hands are sticky, kinda like spiderman, he didnt know how to control them very well at the beggining but now he's a pro. His hand does stick to your hair exactly one (1) time and he feels terrible afterwards

Think of cronenberg's The Fly for his demon form, full body horror

Youre not as taken aback when you meet him because he just looks like a furry, his lil nose, his cow ears, his tail.

Honestly looks more cute than scary but he doesnt need to look scary to be so

Is impossibly strong, so when he chokes you you put up little fight, you're literally helpless

The heavy eyebags, the sickly paleness of his skin, his dilated pupils and bloodshot eyes. No matter how much he sleeps, he still looks on the brink of fainting

Has a lot of memory problems, especially short term, so dont get offended if he forgets something you told him lol

Looks generally unkept but thats more on him than anything lol. He really does appreciate when someone forces him to take care of his appearence so, be on the lookout for that

His changes are more apparent on his demeanor rather than his physique, but no one really knows how much is just his sin taking over and how much are his regret and bitterness talking.

Also no, you cant milk him.

Sure!

The first thing that interested me about him was his design. Outfit and hair aside, i noticed his features were drawn a little differently than the other characters of vento aureo. Anime styles tend to be a bit same-facey, with eyes and nose and mouth all drawn the same way so the most defining features tend to be colors, hair, and clothing. Zuccheros eyes are drawn a little more curved than the other characters, which makes his face unique and idenifiable.

im a fan of his design in general, though between his face and his hair a lot of people tend to label him as ugly and since physical appearance seems to matter more than anything he ends up unpopular. (I genuinely don't get it)

Aside from that, i'm a big fan of his stand. My favorite part of jojo is the slight horror elements it throws in, and stands are an incredible source of body horror. His stand's ability to deflate any object regardless of physical makeup is already fun and creative to utilize, but seeing it used on a human body and they way its effects are described in written word in PHF is almost repulsive. I fucking love it.

Also note, he was one of the only villains in part 5 that took on the bucci gang single handedly and incapacitated all but one member. For an introduction villain, he was quite powerful and it shows that when it comes to stands, its not the strength of the stand that makes it deadly, its the ability of its user to wield it practically.
