The left outfit is his normal office uniform for cooler months, but the right one is a special field outfit for aquatic adventures. Its designed to be practical, you see.

Despite the obvious dysfunctional design in many armour in dark fantasy and fantasy in general, I still enjoy it as a guilty pleasure and a genuine form of character and world design. It really shows how the world is a piece of art designed to express the themes and beauty in a world of darkness and melancholy, depicting spikes and flames akin to the hostility and tattered cloth on cracked metal to revel in the unfathomable oldness or mystery in a world where foes of powerful and terrifying origin await to ruthlessly kill travelers and leave grim reminders about the constant threats lurking for people to discover.

It also shows how an individual character can be depicted so as the audience can understand that this person is still apart of the overall world as well but they are separate at the same time, showing their personality through their colours, ornaments, chips in the metal and overall individuality. Anyway long way of saying armour is cool even if impractical.

For Gar'ret, I like to think this is a potential future version of him at level 20, where he is operating on a level far beyond our comprehension.

Gus's is far less canon, but it makes a good Guild Uniform for field operations during underwater adventures.

Outfits:

I'm so bad at visualizing outfits so Cyrus' clothes are maybe the one aspect of his character I HAVEN'T been rotating in a year-long simmering soup. Beyond his complicated body relationship with heavy armor, I've described him once as 'dresses like a sorcerer, hits like a barbarian.' His ideal casual style skews fancy/gnc/high fantasy elven in a way that the games I've put him don't quite let me express. Loose, long, flowing, ruffly tops & sleeves & cloaks but also anachronistically tight pants. As a treat for his lis.

It makes me mad that Ahsoka is one of the few Jedi that doesn’t wear armor. Like Anakin, Obi-Wan, Plo, Mace, and many other Jedi knights and masters all wear armor. There is not reason they couldn’t have given her armor.

Like literally sub the dress that has its entire back open to the air for some armor for christs sake this is a war zone 😭

Hunter, thinking he’s managed to become the edgiest person in the GAR

Ghost, turning up in specially made skull-themed camouflage armor, carrying around like 32 different weapons at all times and is known for having never shown is face to anyone: ‘u fuckin thought bitch’

I honestly don’t know how he’d end up as a soldier, commander, seargant, whatever. I think he just turned up one day and was so effective that they just kinda kept him around to be sent on special missions with his squad or something. he’s sorta disappears between missions but always turns up perfectly on time for everything. people are terrified of him. it’s hilarious.
