Just wanted to chime in and say I completely agree with the mental health industry ask - women’s reactions to male behavior are completely pathologized, women’s trauma is pathologized, and then it’s all turned into arbitrary labels and diagnoses, also determined by men! (seriously in the united states it’s just a group of old white men who meet up every few years and decide what the new diagnoses are in the DSM). And the sad endgame, beyond reinforcing their basic social structure, is only to line the deep pockets of the men at the top some more.

I’ve only had psychotherapy once in my life that didn’t give a giant free pass to male behavior, and it was with a state-provided therapist after I was the victim of a domestic violence assault. Very telling.

On my drive home today i saw a woman and her Dachshund standing at attention at the side of the road waiting to cross, but the way she was standing with her dog by her heel and her coat blending with her dog's fur, she looked like the worlds most unfortunately proportioned centaur.
