If Elliot Rodger were alive today he'd either be trans or part of the manosphere. Either way, he'd throw his money away on NFTs.

honestly one of the dumbest things trans activists (and a lot of the left) do is tell people that it’s bad to look deeply into what their political opponents actually believe. they create extensions that block out any and all criticism of their beliefs which results in them not knowing what the other side is saying, which then often results in them thinking things are way worse than they actually are. the only opinions they allow themselves to see are those from other activists who are insanely extreme with their rhetoric and know that fear helps them push an agenda.
they’ll say “radfems think women are nothing but vaginas and baby makers” “radfems think you have to be a thin feminine and white in order to be considered a woman” “radfems would ally with nazis to exterminate trans people” and other just blatantly untrue and easily debunkable shit and the sad part is that it actually works because they’ve convinced everyone that knowing what the “bad” side is saying and why they’re saying it is a thought crime and is going to lead them down the alt-right pipeline.
I know all about trans ideology because I used to pretend to believe it, I know what nazis believe and why they believe it, I know what republicans believe and why they believe it, I know what liberal feminists believe and why they believe it, I know what incels believe and why they believe it, etc because not knowing and just making shit up about them is a losing strategy and will only cause people to not trust you when they actually do the research themselves. you can’t really fight against an ideology if you don’t even know what their beliefs and goals are.

genuinely wish there was a better term for it bc porn addiction has too many implications that r false and also is usually used by ppl who like fear monger over masturbating but the very real phenomenon of single men ranging from teens to adults having their main connection to women being thru porn, mainly only being “around” women thru porn, and being encouraged to only socialize with women to have sex by other men has very real repercussions, theirs a reason the incel pipeline relies on men getting hooked on viewing women as just sexual objects and why they think they are “owed” sex for a being nice to women in their proximity but ppl either don’t discuss this as a basic part of feminism or they just believe even mentioning how porn plays a role in misogyny makes you a “terf” as though trans women aren’t equally effected by being reduced to sexual categories for consumption

THE RIDDLER from THE RIDDLER: YEAR ONE
Tumblr media
JUSTIFICATION:
"The Riddler (i'm not the og riddler anon but im insane about this version of the riddler and i don't think this one was submitted. a transfem reading of this comic really works. she's unhappy with her life, feeling inadequate about a lot of things. she also views women differently from men, but not in an incel way, if that makes sense (but also the incel to transfem pipeline is real so that's just another point for her)? in chapter 1, theres a man and a woman in front of a renewal poster, and only the man becomes a warped monster. she also values anonymity and a disconnection from her real-life self online. she constantly talks about being different and no understanding how other people can be happy (very autism very transgender). she also HATES being called a boy or man. she literally says she's not a boy in chapter 2. and her obsession with batman can be read in so many ways- as a crush, as a desire for autonomy in a monotonous capitalist society- but also as the trans "i want to be someone else", yknow? also in chapter 3 you have the line "why was i born into this body" which is very trans coded. anyways i think if she went on e and got a better haircut she'd maybe stop trying to commit domestic terrorism. or at least she'd slay while doing it.)" - Anonymous

hi Im the same ex transmasc anon who sent you that aask about rhe tumblr ban thing, I did a lot of reading without forcing myself away this time. (I used to look at radblr sometimes bc I got curious, but when it started making too much sense i would make myself stop reading and tell myself I was being manipulated and try to forget about it..looking back that probably wasnt normal haha,)
I have mixed feelings tho. I don’t regret looking closer, the amount of sexism in the trans community was horrible. I think even radfems don’t understand how bad it was because it was all subtle styff. But seeing it constantly irl and online was terrible for me as a female. It gave me so much internalized misogyny, it made me hate myself and I felt worthless and stupid! and whiny! and annoying! all the time!! unless I was able to be perceived as a man. I felt like I had to be a man to have any respect in the community. I remember being so amazed to see abortion be covered by trans people I followed in even a reblog because it was the first time I saw people in the community talk about female issues at all. Even then it was covered with disclaimers and terfs DNI banners. male, opinions were always prioritized.
I thought this was dysphoria and a sign I was really a man. then I started reading radfem things and its like that feeling instantly lifted. I felt respected, listened to, even though I wasn’t speaking. It was also like all this stuff I’d internalized from being female, all the trauma around sex based oppression, was actually being addressed. in trans circles you get called a terf for acknowledging females face any kind of oppression (they acknowledge sex when it’s to talk about how hard male loneliness is on young trans women, and how the incel to trans woman pipeline happens, though…)
but the reason I have mixed feelings is bc I now feel….dumb? And afraid. And angry. I spend well over a decade being part of this community, half my friends are in the community, I’ve been trans since I was 9. My typings not the best… dyslexia sucks lol. But I like to think I’m smart. Now I don’t know,
And it makes me think totally different of these people I saw as progressive cis male allies, who were so loud about trans rights and hating JKR and terfs. Now they just feel like the same flavor of anti-feminist man I hate.
And the community is so huge and it’s so widely accepted and I don’t know how to deal!
But I am happy to be a woman now. In a healthy way I haven’t been for a long time. thats all that matters.
I'm sorry for everything you were put through. Many girls and women have been sucked into this thinking it will provide a solution for their distress at the social ramifications of the body they're born in, only for more people, namely men, to take advantage of their distress and gain power over them. As you mentioned, even "cis" men get in on the action when they justify intimidating and threatening women with violence in response to perceived transphobia. It's a terrible situation to be in. Made worse when you can't openly talk about with people you're close to for fear of alienating them.
I think you should give yourself more credit. You ARE smart. You questioned what you were told was never allowed to be questioned and realized you were being misled. And what you said about trying to make yourself forget the realizations you've had, that is normal. It's a difficult and scary thing to hold opinions that conflict with those of the majority of your peers. I think it's like the climax of cognitive dissonance -- when what you know is true clashes so hard against what you want to believe, you find it impossible to justify anymore, so you just resort to pretending you never learned the information in the first place. Been there.
I'm just being a stereotype now, but there's a classic Dworkin quote for this:
"Many women, I think, resist feminism because it is an agony to be fully conscious of the brutal misogyny which permeates culture, society, and all personal relationships."
Anyway my point is, don't beat yourself up. I'm really happy to read that you're accepting your womanhood, it's a hard journey but it's worth it to have a good relationship with yourself. And in my experience (at the sage and wisened age of 25) that it gets easier as you get older. You work through mistakes, and that prepares you to handle the next mistake better. You're right, your health and happiness is all that matters, keep striving for that and it will steer you right.
I wanted to give you some reading recommendations, you mentioned you have dyslexia but I believe these two are available in audiobook form if that's up your alley:
Delusions of Gender: How Our Minds, Society, and Neurosexism Create Difference by Cordelia Fine
Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men by Caroline Criado Perez
There are tons more great books on feminism but these two are my go-tos for hard facts on gender, socialization, and the systematic discrimination against women worldwide through biases that are built into society.
Well uh; TLDR thanks for gracing my inbox, anon :) Hope you keep well.

The thing that makes me the most sad about how many people fall for radfem ideology on this website is that many of them genuinely think that they are fighting for liberation, and have various levels of class consciousness. Especially when it’s young people.
This is why I talk a lot about both the online rabbitholes/pipelines that pull people into terf circles and also the I would estimate somewhat smaller one that funnels into the whole ‘anti-shipping’ community. They both often have people in them who claim they are against overt oppression in other forms.
The terf pipeline in particular is functionally the same as the inverse blackpill ideological rabbit hole which targets young men: the incel pipeline. Both are reflexively reactionary ideologies that respond to the promises demands and expectations of cultural patriarchy. And both in the end, serve white supremacy and capital.
Terfs are so focused on violence against women that it is truly the only violence they see. And of course finding an easy scapegoat who is already disempowered under patriarchy is easier than confronting the complexities of the underlying social issues. Such as plainly acknowledging that trans feminine people, particularly black and native trans people, face the most intensive mysoginistic violence of anyone, and that all queerness and gender noncormity is counter to the rigid gender expectations of patriarchy and thus under threat of patriarchal reinforcing violence.
So rather than fighting for women’s liberation in any actually meaningful way, which would mean acknowledging that anyone who betrays gender roles is harmed by patriarchy, they rely on an outdated model of biological essentialism which hasn’t been relevant to thoughtful feminist critique since second wave feminism. We have fifty years of further gender theory in academia that they will ignore in favor of a 6th grade level basic and also plainly incorrect understanding of genetics. And in so doing they, usually unwittingly and unintentionally, fall for obvious white supremacist grifters like that woman who had a milkshake thrown on her and is Jo Rowling’s new best friend who has straight up said MANY times that ‘we need to abandon feminism’ and that she herself is not a feminist. Yet she’s one of the main and most popular speakers driving “radical feminist” ideology.
There is a REASON why terf thought leader speeches are protected by groups of Proud Boys.
Similarly the anti-shipping rabbithole also reinforces christofash puritanical sexual morality while claiming to fight sexual violence and be a liberatory movement.
If you are falling for these regressive ideologies, you are not fighting capitalism. You are not fighting racism. You are not fighting sexism.
You are falling for white supremacist christofascist recruiting schemes.
You are falling for the oldest trick in the book, blaming other members of the working class for your own oppression instead of acting in solidarity to fight for systemic change.

why is it that almost every femboy / etc. char I see getting co-opted by right-wingers / chasers has the temperament of the Messiah of your choice
I heard something about the whole far-right -> femboy pipeline thingy, but I can't exactly be sure why Astolfo is such a peculiar choice for these people.
I think it has to do with the fact that Astolfo was a catholic warrior, and thus idealized by tradcaths with the whole intent of seeing him as a symbol of European persevation. Keep in mind that monarchists were mostly into him as opposed to your traditional right-winger. I guess it's also because... uhh fetishization of Japanese culture, idk. Some of these people also like to be in some form of sexual deniability, because LGBTQ is degeneracy, while in the meantime they can't stop getting horny about Astolfo. My second theory is the fetishization of Japanese cultural-relativism, because of how they view Japan with the presumptious notion that traditional masculinity has yet to be influenced by "western degeneracy", effectively rejecting western gender ideas while upholding the idea that Japan is an ideal country doing its best to perserve the status quo. These are the same people that glorify the Empire of Japan btw.
I have no idea why there's this weird... femboy to fascist overlap in this particular aspect, because Astolfo isn't even characterized as a bigot or someone with intolerant views if someone actually took the damn time to read Apocrypha. Keep in mind that all of these people are mostly incels and often fall down the rabbit hole of reactionary behaviour as a result of societal standards that don't apply to their insane worldviews.
These are the same people who had a meltdown over Brisket being trans.

I feel like this video was titled something different, something along the lines of how this manga deals with gender and it was interesting and the new title is the incel to trans pipeline. white people love joking about certain things then wonder why people give them a wide berth. The same incels that think women should be sex slaves ?
There are too many white trans people that crack this joke and think they're normal about Black people and women when its obvious they aren't. The way the average white trans person ( online ) talks about Black women is psychotic if they aren't making up shit about slavery and decentring white supremacy to talk about their gender, which is the type of behaviour you should expect from someone that still holds misogynistic white supremacist ideas or sympathies and don't view Black women as people.
People change but undoing the type of radicalisation that's common among incels takes hard work and years, not taking hormones or memes. There aren't enough skirt spinny jokes you can crack to stop me treating people like this like the walking casual racism & sexism machines almost always are.

Transandrophobia discourse is on my dash again. From what i understand there's two different things people mean by transandrophobia. One is just the idea that transmascs face a unique kind of bigotry that shouldn't be generalized as just transphobia, which is true, trans men have their own issues and it's important to recognize that.
On the other hand, some small group of people use transandrophobia to mean a combination of transphobia and widescale misandry, which is based off of the typical "mens rights" incel rhetoric. Misandry certainly exists especially in radfem spaces but it's not at an institutional or otherwise large scale, men simply don't face oppression as a group. But some, few but some, transandrophobia blogs are trans men who have fallen down the incel pipeline and use the whole "men are oppressed" thing to explain why they face the unique bigotry they do.
This is all just a "from what i understand" thing, i don't claim to actually know anything, but this is my vague understanding after watching some of the discourse so feel free to enlighten me.
