So I’ve been having brain rot about chiscara wedding and I think it’s so funny how you could logic every archon into showing up to that event.

Nahida: She’s going either way. Im pretty sure she’s decided that they’re best friends/family whether Scara likes it or not. (He does)

Raiden: I mean, his mom. Duh. Yes I know she wouldn’t remember him and I know he hates her but what if they ended up meeting again and she does remember him and explains herself and they make up because I said so.

Zhongli: I do ship Zhongchi at the same time, so boyfriend/bestie gets an invite.

Furina: Childe definitely invites Wriothesley because he wants to be friends with (fight) him. And given that Childe is responsible for single handedly keeping Fontaine from becoming Atlantis for MONTHS, Neuvillette would end up insisting he go too even if it’s just to drop off a wedding gift, and because I think it’d be funny, dragging Furina along with him.

Venti: Zhongli’s plus one because they’re husbands.

The Tsaritsa: One of her harbingers is getting married why not show up.

Right. So my friend sent me this post of a very complex comment chain of the lore and headcanons of Perry the Platypus and Dr Doofenshmirtz and their relationship in the show Fenius and Ferb.

Well my friend pointed out how one of our favourite artists and fanfic authors (and a well known artist in the Bowuigi community) @darkwingsnark was on there

I find this hilarious and it was a bit of shock to see them on one of these tumblr post stories on TikTok. It was actually very interesting and I never watched the show growing up so it was weird hearing all this random lore without much context lol

yes, if you only want a specific type of posts (political, art, aesthetic gifsets, idk) on your blog, you do you. there is, however, the option to create sideblogs and a lot of people use them! hell, my main blog is where I post my art and reblog works by fellow artists. I also have a sideblog where everything else that I enjoy, find important or funny, gets reblogged to. I even have a blog I specifically created to collect resources, tips etc so I have an easier time finding posts again that I find good to have at hand.

don't get me wrong, receiving a like as an artist is nice. it's a sweet notion. however, especially on this site for a very long time, likes have been not much more than a private bookmark for the user. there's a multitude of ways to utilise the like function, but the artist won't know what you personally use likes for. a lot of us use this site for a decade or more, so only leaving a like always has the implication that the work isn't considered worthy of sharing around, and it stings after a while. it even makes creating art harder because is the time and effort you put into it even worth it?

yes most artists create for the sake of creating! but it is still disingenuine to ask of artists to create and especially share their work for virtually nothing in return. most often an implied "deal with this later only to forget it even exists".

yes you can do whatever you want with your blog. we don't even ask you to reblog every single post that comes across your dashboard. tumblr is about curating your experience.

but please be empathetic towards artists and writers. it hurts to read "why doesn't your stuff have more notes?!?!?" while nobody follows through and reblogs your stuff, the single most best way to give posts notes on this website and share them around.

it's nice that you find cool stuff on your "for you" page, the thing that is actually influenced by likes. but, realistically speaking, how many use the "for you" page, especially on a regular basis? how many go into art- or writing-specific tags instead of fandom-specific ones (yes imagine that, there's a bunch of people on here who don't majorly draw fanart or write fanfics)? how regular is that?

if you truly want to help creative people on this website, please consider reblogging their work. it's hard enough as it is.

Just airing out thoughts…

For a blog dedicated to the first fandom I officially joined it sure is messy…and dusty af from disuse. While I have joined plenty of batim centered discord servers and talk with many wonderful people in the fandom I’ve always felt like I’ve never properly shared the passion I’ve had for it. I want to post more! I want to interact with others on here more! I’ve drawn and developed things so much that hasn’t been posted! But I always tend to get side tracked for one reason or another.

Looking back on this blog is a bit- idk- unpleasant? Nothing to do with the many wonderful posts from others I’ve reblogged, but the posts I’ve made scattered between them. I certainly have mixed emotions when seeing my old work and the horrible changes I’ve made to my fics through my many rewrites on ao3 (empty chapters? Are you kidding me?). It just gives me a nagging itch that I should be doing something about it, like a chore you put off for so long that takes only 5 minutes to do and all of the mental dread built up feels redundant and emotionally draining.

I’m afraid that touching it will destroy many important things to me, overlooking old tags from others that had contributed to the passion I have now, the many comments left on my old fics. I can’t help but get sappy over it but I don’t want to just leave it there to be forgotten or half finished.

I’ll likely be posting one or two things I’ve made over the time I haven’t been on here and some recent stuff soon. But frankly who knows at this point

Quick question

So I know originally in the older cartoons and games Mario and Luigi had brown eyes, but now they have blue eyes, I don't hate the change but I don't really understand it, like if you look at every single human + very ancient human (Rosalina) they all have blue eyes (this is not including Wario and Waluigi and their beady eyes)

Is there a reason behind it? With Mario and Luigi, although having blue eyes of course isn't impossible, it is uncommon for itallians to have blue or Green eyes, and the majority of the population have brown eye's. I know in the film their family has a mix of all eye colours, but I don't really see the Mario movie being the only canon source to Mario universe

Or with Dasiy, I know she is pale in the games and such, but she's from a hit dessert setting, where in reality she would be someone who would have darker skin or at the least tanned skin, and would be more inclined to have brown/dark eyes.

With Peach, Pauline and Rosalina it wouldn't matter all that much but it would still be nice to see some variety in eye colour.

You'd think that all the different species in the Mario World would think Humans could only have blue eyes. I think about this a lot along with a few other things that the beings of the Mario Universe would assume about humans because of what (canon) representation they see
