so here’s the thought i’m thinking today: what if the Rose family lost their money sooner?  Like, say...15 years sooner?  They still move to SC, but David is in high school - Alexis is in middle school.  Still basically the same people - worse, in many ways, because they’re teenagers - but also not quite as jaded.  How does that play out?

So I watched The Resort and I really liked it and it deserves more fan chatter, for sure. What it delivers is very good. Mystery! Metaphysical, existential sort of questions! Appealing Genre twists! But! But! Look! I DO have queer reading poisoning, so im especially like. Hmm. I hope this doesnt awaken anything in me… Spoilers, but the kind of spoilers that might entice you to watch this show if you’re on the fence:

its just so funny to me how a perfectly good, modern show will be like, yeah, heres a random gay background couple at this resort, and theres a lesbian side character working at the resort who’s identity does inform her loyalty to her found family… and this is decent rep from presumably straight writers!!! but then they do something 1000xs gayer without realizing it. Like. Okay, and now here we have baltasar frias, a very handsome man from a very powerful, corrupt family with fingers in everything including but not limited to Fashion, Politics, Real Estate. he wants to herbie the elf it and get away!! he wants be a detective, maybe?? because detective books have deep questions and answers about life!!! and some poetic sense of justice! maybe thats ridiculous but he’s gotta get OUT, so he goes to some weirdo resort owner for a job, ANY JOB, and guess what the weirdo resort owner just so happens to have a weirdo kind of amnesia and he kinda NEEDS someone to help piece together his crumbling mind so he physically WRESTLES baltasar into confessing his ridiculous aspirations to him and they become instabesties. the kind of instabesties where if one was maybe kinda sorta implicated in the murder?/disappearance? of two teenagers, baltasar would kinda sorta maybe hide the evidence and maybe kinda sorta spend the next 15 years trying to clear his name. I love the slight fragrance as well. Rating: 🍒🍒🍒🍒🍒 • The Smooth Assist Multi-tasking eye primer is somewhat disappointing so far. I tried it with the Doll Play shadow and liner and it didn't help with minimizing the creasing the shadow left. Keys but sora is replaced by Kairi

1. So I’ve seen this AU floating around before but its always just a roleswap between Sora and Kairi where Riku’s role still stays the same; I’m more compelled by the Destiny Trio entirely switching roles, so Kairi is in Sora’s role, going off on this big adventure to save the worlds and whatnot; Sora is in Riku’s role where he (very hesitantly) sides with the villains to try and reunites with his friends (Maleficent very easily manipulates this poor distraught boy); and Riku is... kinda outta commission for most of the duration, his heart ends up inside of Kairi’s or whatever. 

2. Instead of teaming up with Donald and Goofy, Kairi teams up with Minnie and Daisy because in this house we stan an epic lady team

3. Like I said, Sora would very hesitantly work with the villains to try and save Riku, but he wouldn’t really try to actively fight Kairi like Riku fights Sora in canon; he’d kinda be chasing after her too, trying to make sure she’s safe, probably being sort of overbearing, but his intentions are good even though he’s being manipulated into doing some sorta shady stuff ahaha 

4. When Riku gets his heart back and wakes up and sees all the stupid insane shit Sora and Kairi have gotten up to while he’s asleep he’s just like “are you two for fucking serious????”

5. Kairi is instabesties with basically every Disney character she meets, she particularly bonds with the likes of Ariel, Jasmine, Wendy (from Peter Pan), and so on
