Hey, whats up, uhh... happy holydays...so a recap.

So its 2020, february, and life was good, I was about to graduate, was doing my intenrship at the local hospital, everything was going millhouse for Roque, then a mayor history event cme to shit all over my back, long story shorts, I end up graduating and officially being able to look for a job in my choosen profesión in august of 2021... then, a hole year past, and im jobless, until I got a job earlier this year, but I was shitty at it bc it has been literal years since I picked a book regarding human anatomy or clinical analisis, not to mención ive varely had the chance to perform venipunctures at school. Tldr, I got fired :,)

But after that I decided, fuck it, I'm gonna get a license to be able to perform blood draws in the state of California, and now I'm here, procrastinating my studies for the license test, its collegue all over again, except I'm 30 now....merry Christmas I haven't sketched anything in months fml...

a random list of things i've learned the hard way lately:

1) figure out how the fuck factset works when you can, fool

2) the food in london sucks

3) grocery shopping without thinking about the price tag of foods is sinfully sweet

4) the water in london sucks

5) a lot of attractive people shop at waitrose

6) not even a new city can make me wake up early on the weekends

7) you don't realize how much time has passed if you're working with no natural sunlight in a big room

8) never sit an italian and an american near each other and hope they won't be loud

9) while you're there, figure out how to use excel without a mouse

10) i'm a dumbass who should sleep more

11) i'm turning 21 in a couple of weeks but i literally refuse to let it happen like i am a baby? it's not that i don't want to get old i'm just not 21

Intresstign fact; this talk with all might was BEFOR the endavor intenrship if I had to guess - you know the arc Bakugou wanted to find out his weakness?

the talk is actually during the 3 month timeskip - so sometime after the endeavor agency arc! but regardless, bakugou’s talk with all might would’ve taken place around the same time that he’s been training with endeavor to find out his weakness. its rather fitting..

Drifting along the gentle rhythm of the water. Better things are yet to come.

The main message I’m getting is “let go of fear.” I know it can be hard to stay positive when things aren’t going the way you want them to. It can be so easy to worry about the future especially. You start to feel like you’re not doing enough, or you’re not at the place in your life where you should be. Believe me, I definitely get this feeling. The most important thing is for you to try not to get discouraged. And I know it’s annoying to hear, but patience is also key. The right moment will come and things will start to pick up pace.

I also kept seeing images of snakes. I know there’s a sort of negative connotation surrounding snakes. They’re used to represent people who are sneaky and don’t have your best interest at heart, however, this is not the feeling I’m getting. I got this as a sense that you will be experiencing a change in some aspect of your self. Much like a snake sheds it’s akin, you too will be shedding some sort of part of you that is no longer serving you. There’s an emphasis on self improvement. Maybe you’ll be working on your own confidence, or maybe even learning to appreciate your flaws rather than hating them. Regardless, you’ll be learning to put yourself and your needs first.

For my program I have to complete internships in hospitals similar to upcoming doctors, except unlike doctors, we don’t get paid for our intenrship AND have shitty paying jobs when it’s all done!

I was informed today that being literally unable to afford to move, to the point i would have to drop out of the program if they place me somewhere out of town is not an “extenuating circumstance” necessitating my getting a local placement.

What is an extenuating circumstance, you ask? Having a husband, of course! That’s right, if you get hitched, you, too, can apparently take the local placements from people who are literally selling their furniture in order to afford to see a dentist. Heaven forbid you spend three months away from your precious fucking husband, who is an adult who can take care of himself for a few goddamn weeks to let someone be able to fuckign afford their degree, not counting, of course, the one hundred and thirty thousand dollars of debt they’re already fucking in.
