planets in intercepted signs
sun: when the sun is intercepted, the native struggles to express themselves. too much, too much, they heard - or felt - as a child. they learned to reel themselves in, never say, or show, or do too much. and as an adult, it's a natural reaction. they shrink away from any kind of limelight, and they don't express their opinions much. they are almost muted, or dampened down.
moon: when the moon is intercepted, the native struggles to express their emotions. they can bottle things up, disconnect from themselves, and suffer from somatic illness and emotional outbursts. they can find it hard to really understand their emotions too, where they come from and how to help soothe themselves. they struggle to connect with their nurturing side, and find self-care to be a difficult task.
mercury: when mercury is intercepted, the native struggles to express their thoughts. they can be shy or socially anxious, and may find their thoughts chaotic and uncollected. some will have issues focusing and prioritising, and though generally very intelligent and reflective, these natives often struggle to communicate their inner goings on, stumbling over their words or being quite verbally clumsy and being easily misunderstood.
venus: when venus is intercepted, the native struggles to express pleasure and beauty. they tend to be self-conscious, often feeling inferior to their peers. they can struggle with body image issues, craving external validation to feel ‘good enough’. this desire for validation extends to their hobbies and interests too; they can be codependent and struggle to see their own beauty, or allow themselves to enjoy life.
mars: when mars is intercepted, the native struggles to express drive. they can come across as complacent or lazy, and are prone to fits of deep depression and helplessness. they can’t easily access their ‘get up and go’ and lack the confidence to take steps towards what they want in life. they can become cynical when isolated, because with no healthy outlet, their energy stagnates.
jupiter: when jupiter is intercepted, the native struggles to express growth. they stifle themselves in some ways, especially in their younger years, and they often try to blend in with their peers, dampening themselves down to do so. it takes time for these natives to get to know themselves, and their path through life can sometimes feel quite confusing or disjointed until they do.
saturn: when saturn is intercepted, the native struggles to express discipline. their younger years are often plagued with a vicious cycle of procrastination and pressuring themselves to complete their projects on time. this leads to intense emotions, a sense that the work wasn't really up to standard, and a subsequent punishment of themselves, which really never 'works' as intended, because the cycle continues. wisdom is a skill that develops over time for our natives.
uranus: when uranus is intercepted, the native struggles to express their ideas. they can be buzzing with ideas and plans, but at the crucial point of communication, their mind goes blank and nerves take over. this is a very frustrating experience, especially with how full their brain gets once they're back in their comfort zone. they can also feel quite alienated from their peers because they just can't seem to express themselves accurately to how they feel and how they see the world.
neptune: when neptune is intercepted, the native struggles to express their selflessness. prone to depression, neptune intercepted can feel like a bystander in life, like it's something that happens to them, rather than something they are an active part of. they often feel lost and confused about how to put themselves out there. they are very kind individuals with a lot of love and care to give, but are easily misled and in fact, can easily mislead themselves too.
pluto: when pluto is intercepted, the native struggles to express their power. they are often quite fearful individuals, and this fear can rule them if they don't learn to own it. they become frightened of fear itself, and, like neptune intercepted, they are prone to feeling life is something that happens to them, rather than something they actively participate in. pluto intercepted can feel disempowered and trapped easily, and need to work hard to remind themselves of their personal power.

Intercepted houses ࣪ ִֶָ☾.
Tumblr media
hi guys hope your day is fabulous and everyone is okay ৎ୭
I wanted to discuss intercepted houses and specifically 11th & 5th houses intercepted and the double houses breakdown and also the specific sign you're missing in your chart. This post will be discussing the exclusion of pieces and virgo in your birth chart and it not governing a house and the impacts and observations I've determined fits along this specific interception.
princess leiana astrology xoxo ⋆. 𐙚 ̊
Having 4th house & 5th house in leo
leo fourth house: These natives have a lot of potential for their breakthrough in life. You may had/have an explosive family; it was either big, you had lots of relatives or their was a constant explosiveness of energy in your household. There could of been lots of yelling and arguments in your household. You may have had creative relatives or relatives in any art industries or even your parents. But, there may have had been such energy in your household but not much to you. Your parents may have pushed you to have confidence, stand up for yourself but it may have not resonated with you in the way they went about it. You could be a favorite or often payed attention to in your family but also invalidated which causes a seesaw effect.
5th house leo interception: So, because these natives have a fourth house in leo and each house is a stage in our life, this will tie in together. Therefore, because of the constant explosiveness and fiery nature of your family and home life you may have experienced neglect. You may have not gained the confidence from your parents from any pursuits on anything that was fun for you or even anything you wanted to pursue. Your parents may have found it not important often neglecting the natives true expression. This natives negative experience with this will likely effect their own creativeness, fun and connections with others. You may find it hard to make friends or out yourself in fun environments because of your fear of peoples perception on your fun and goofy behavior or you feel like people wont accept you. These natives also might experience quick burnout within creative pursuits and feel like this area in their life is rejecting itself. These natives have the capability to pour their creativeness into themselves; you just have to unblock this harsh reality in your life and uncover the truths and accept this part in your life. You feel like you may not get to experience fun things like others can.
Having aquarius in the 10th house & 11th house
aquarius in the 10th house: You don't really want to pursue a job that deems as regular. You want something that will feel like it fits you. You don't like pursuing careers (lifetime careers) that will not fulfill you. You may pursue STEM, biology-related, chemistry, artictechture, doctor (depending on cancer and virgo placements) industry-related, creating the new innovation, online business, therapist, anything that involves movies, being internet famous (because of this interception in the 5th you may feel more inclined to pursue creative pursuits, music, writing & expression) Being a project manger, managing business, enterpreneur, producer, activist, game creator, movie director and especially any science related pursuits.
aquarius in the 11th house intercepted: Friends and people can be quiteee confusing with this interception. The thing is people will be fascinated with this native but have many different perceptions. Being popular but not quite fitting in is a theme. Having social anxiety is such a theme with this placement. You could attract friends that are apart of the lgbtq+. You have been popular or a lot of people know you but may have experienced people always being unsure of you and may not even know why. People could be intimidated by your social play in social settings. Friendships can be very confusing and elusive. There may be a constant feeling of obtaining friends but feeling like they don't completely accept you. Feeling not accepted by your community is a huge theme. You feel like a lot of people may not want to pick you. You may find it hard to create superficial relationships, so in result you may just find no purpose in it altogether.
Virgo & Pieces not being your chart
Not having Virgo and Pisces in your house wheel could feel like you lacked stability in your upbringing like so much. You have moved a lot and your parents let you do things yourself constantly and felt like you had to live up to their idea of the independence they handed to you. You had to care for yourself. You could have emotionally unavailable people in your life. When you didn't have the structure you expected it caused you to have to step up and it allowed a unconventional routine for you. You may find it hard to follow a routine and feel like you had to teach yourself the importance of a routine. You may also not like virgo/pieces personalites or placements as you yourself may not be proud of the traits you may have lacked in your life so building yourself up and having someone else naturally display these traits can make natives find it intimating or appealing. You may like structure in partners or creative partners. Your parents could of had a theme of putting love over you or putting substances over you or their dreams. You may have a hard time complying to work schedule sometimes or even school. You feel as though time and routine depends on you and not the day.
written originally by me, don’t not steal writing.
let me know your opinions, did this resonate? :)

> Interceptions; through signs/houses <
interceptions are an overcharged, under-appreciated facet within a natives chart. its something you are acutely aware of and are usually extremely distasteful/uncomfortable of. Its something that was neglected in previous lifetimes so you are forced to fix it now...
Tumblr media
1st/7th house or Aries/Libra - these people are very noticeable but in a uncomfortable way for themselves and others... they come off extremely strong (they are very imposing accidentally but also not in a good way) and they are always switching between being extremely self conscious of this or very idgaf. This creates a dynamic where they come off very wat da fuq > and are projected onto a lot and have a habit of projecting onto others a lot. 2nd/8th house or Taurus/Scorpio - These people are very insecure, but others are usually extremely unaware of this, which only accelerates the natives insecurity. To others they come off very valuable(2)/powerful(8) but usually they do not relate to this feeling within themselves at all. They however may overcompensate these feelings of inferiority by appearing stronger than they feel inside, and they are very good at convincing others this. Until it does inevitably crumble and everyone is shocked because their facade is relatively strong. 3rd/9th house or Gemini/Sagitarrius - These people are very talkative or the opposite; they are mindful of their answers and those of others, but because of their overthinking tendencies it makes them very fidgety and always need to have a great deal of input into the conversation. This makes others not sure if they smart, because they low key annoying to talk to (ya'll just sayin too much) but they dont appreciate their own cleverness because they mentioned every dot point in existence and this makes them feel stupid; don't know what a summary means or you made 5 summaries which defeats the purpose of one in the first place. 4th/10th house or cancer/capricorn - These guys had a rough childhood and you've never seen a more self protective person of their image. So they never reveal much and this statue-esque vibe they give off is very unesettling and many people talk about this lack of care they display because everyone knows ya'll just give a shit way too much. They avoid responsibility and emotional vulnerability often, and it creates conflicts within their personal life and that of their reputation. 5th/11th house or leo/aquarius - They doin a lot of vibin and not in a viby way. Its too much and they know it too and this creates conflict within their personality of not feeling like they shine in the way they wish they could, so they try even harder to shine the way they envisioned. But too others its the same song / dance we are so used to seeing this with them. This creates conflict in their presence within the community, and it can make them have a poor self image/ identity. 6th/12th house or virgo/pisces - they work a lot but they never satisfied with what they did, so they again work even harder. You can find these guys up at 4 am still tinkering their assignment/ project and even if theirs so many details implanted into it, its never enough and so they still doing more. They also neglect things that are necessary such as eating, or cleaning, because they are so focused on what they wanted to accomplish. This hurts their spirit because they never feel satisfied with what they have done with their life, despite working so damn hard.
> Im going to talk about double signs in my next post; and your double signs are what makes your interceptions far more bearable/ useful. But I want to encourage everyone to work on their interceptions, because it is a weakness, but it really can become a strength if you just put some practical work into it. < How to find interception? easy check yo house cusp; E.g. >
Tumblr media
intercepted aries/libra in 12th/6th ;p > BEcause the Aries / Libra symbols is absent ^^^^ also after pisces and before taurus is 'Aries' which is swallowed up within the 12th house****** <That should make it obvious how to read now**** Oh and we always getting 2 gifs do not worry and these gifs *special* they encapsulate intercepted energy perfectly.... actually intercepted energy initself is encapsulation!!!

Intercepted Houses
So, to start off, let's talk about what an intercepted house actually is:
An interception is when a house is found to be larger than 30° and engulfs an entire sign. Usually, folks will look at the (Gemini 2H/Gemini 3H) house cusps and confuse those for the intercepted houses, but the interception actually lies within the entirety of Cancer being engulfed by the 3H, carrying on a Leo influence to rule over the 4H. When we find interceptions, we'll always see an equal expression on the opposite side of the chart, meaning that interceptions form on an axis rather than focusing on one sign or area of the chart (ex: Aries-Libra, Taurus-Scorpio, etc. will always be mutually intercepted)
Some folks believe intercepted houses are indicative of past-life karmic failures, showing these influences are difficult for us to express because we face more challenges and opportunities to learn from them than other people. When we talk about intercepted houses, we also have to consider the additional interception of the planets themselves too, and how we find difficulty in expressing their themes because we're attempting to approach it from another signs' mindset and perception.
When we look at intercepted houses and planets, though there's infinite possibilities of different expressions, we have to understand that the native isn't fully aware of that signs' influence on their life because it's never been part of it.
Some people also consider intercepted houses to show the themes of life our parents/caregivers, whether intentionally or unintentionally, didn't teach them about because it was circumstantially seen as unimportant during the natives childhood.
---
So, looking at an Aries-Libra axis interception, this is someone who has difficulty enforcing boundaries between who they are and who they turn into around other people, finding it difficult to look at themselves without seeing the impact of everyone they've ever met.
1/4/7/10H: Struggling with past, wanting to be more known for who they are as individuals
2/5/8/11H: Struggling with what they have to offer, vehemently refusing criticism and guidance
3/6/9/12H: Struggling with emotions, always wanting to be more "logical" with things.

For a Taurus-Scorpio axis interception, this is someone who finds it hard to separate themselves from other people, and even harder to decide when to actually let go. They're always convinced cutting one tie will make them lose connection with the world entirely.
1/4/7/10H: Conflict arises from heavy-handed attempts to maintain traditions or memories
2/5/8/11H: Conflict arises from other people changing their opinion, thinking they're losing that person
3/6/9/12H: Conflict arises from confrontation, their "loyalty never being enough"

In terms of a Gemini/Sagittarius axis interception, there tends to be difficulty in knowing how to approach people and at what level, overshooting and falling short in their first impressions trying to mirror peoples' intelligence based on appearance and assumption.
1/4/7/10H: Troubles rise from other people feeling made fun of when they're trying to relate
2/5/8/11H: Troubles rise from overexaggeration, and lies, telling fantastic stories to pull people in
3/6/9/12H: Troubles rise from false empathy, which can be perceived as digging.

For the Cancer/Capricorn interception axis, this is someone who reveals more in the moment than they actually want to, struggling with the boundaries between their public and personal lives. They want to be seen and heard, but not exposed entirely.
1/4/7/10H: Someone who exposes their past and what made them who they are
2/5/8/11H: Someone who exposes their values, sometimes coming off more extreme than they really are
3/6/9/12H: Someone who exposes their desires, coming off focused and possibly opportunistic

For a Leo-Aquarius axis interception, this is someone with a lack of belief in their own individuality, feeling like they are only what other people tell them to be. There's a need to express themselves that, in part, they even refuse themselves the opportunity to fulfill.
1/4/7/10H: A belief that, no matter how far they make it, they will never make it [out]
2/5/8/11H: A belief that belief itself is a waste of time, planning for anything rather than hoping for the best
3/6/9/12H: A belief that they'll never be seen in the way they want to be

Looking at a Virgo-Pisces axis interception, this is someone who lacks belief in their own ability to achieve their dreams no matter the amount of work they put in, refusing to try for so long that they eventually forget how to.
1/4/7/10H: The refusal to believe they'll get the respect they think they deserve
2/5/8/11H: The refusal to believe that anyone believes in them, accepting complete loneliness
3/6/9/12H: The refusal to believe they'll be heard, ending communication through passive aggression

Intercepted houses & which sign rules these houses? 🤔 (Astro lesson)
🦋 A reader sent the following question: "I’ve always wanted to know and understand which house is dominated by which zodiac sign 🪧 if 2 or 3 zodiac signs are found within the zones of one House, e.g. because of where the person was born, geographically, the houses aren’t equidistant within the natal chart. 9th house may start in the latter degrees of Pisces and then contain the whole Aries sign and also touch the first degrees of Taurus. Another question following the below: would that house be dominated by Pisces (enters the house first) or Aries (completely encompassing the whole sign in the one house, surrounded by the adjacent zodiac signs). Which sign do we claim to dominate the house?"
If 3 zodiac signs are found within the zones of just one house, we are talking about intercepted houses.
The intercepted houses correspond exactly to this, and it means that in practice the person doesn't feel the energy of the intercepted sign flowing in any of the house cusps, as it is "swallowed" in the house and other signs manifest there, instead of it.
Your question is extremely relevant and in my understanding, the sign shown in that house is the sign that rules it.
In your example, from the description you gave, I imagine that the 9th house is being ruled by Pisces and the 10th house by Taurus, and Aries is intercepted.
For example:

Astrology observations pt. VIII 🌚
⋆⭒˚。⋆ Here i am back from the dead hi!! As always, take what resonates and leave the rest! (Small Tw for mention of EDs )
⋆⭒˚。⋆ I feel like I don’t do rising sign observations so much bc I don’t know anyone’s birth time (grrr) but I do know a few Virgo risings and they all have this extremely elegant put together vibe about them, seriously even their mess looks purposeful and neat. They also all look like models, they’re slender and usually on the taller side. Ie Bella Hadid.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ Sagittarius Mars kind of scare me because these mfs can literally do anything without having to practice or train too hard. They could literally wake up tomorrow and run a marathon just for the hell of it just because they can without training. They have such an intense belief in their own physical capabilities that it all kind of works out for them. Depending on their other placements, they’re also usually good at a lot of different things and rarely doubt their capabilities.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ Capricorn in the 6h (Leo rising) You guys have iron health. You literally never get sick. Likely to be healthy right into old age and have good genetics or just get better health with age which seems counterintuitive. You’re also likely to take your health very seriously. An example is my mum, she looks 10 years younger than her age because she has never drank or had any major health issues.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ Pisces Mars keep getting hurt by those closest to them and are just too forgiving. It makes my heart sad truly. They might always blame themselves for conflicts too. With love, you guys need to learn to stand up for yourselves and don’t let people treat you like sh!t.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ I’ve noticed that people with Taurus & Scorpio intercepted tend to have issues with food and eating. People with this configuration often forget to eat or just don’t get that much pleasure out of it. I’m not really sure the reason (I suppose Taurus has to do with sensual pleasures and Scorpio is sometimes about restriction?) but they just aren’t all that bothered with food and they’re usually quite underweight for this reason. I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily always a full blown ED but I definitely think it’s something to watch out for. I also imagine, as with all interceptions, it could go to the other extreme and they could binge eat especially if they have personal placements in Taurus that are intercepted.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ The 8th house (talking about it again sorry not sorry. it’s fascinating) is not just about money and death. It’s about anything you inherit from your family line, although it is usually a burden or comes at a heavy price. Think generational curses, ancient trauma that you carry with you that was not even yours in the first place. It could be money you inherit from your family but that will usually come at some kind of cost. For example, you could be from a very wealthy family and be left a lot but maybe they were never warm, loving or accepting of you. That’s the price you pay for the money you did not earn. The 8h is never about choice. You don’t get a say in the matter. The wounds were there before you were even conceived and you have no other option but to bear their burden. It seems unfair, but what it does give you is extraordinary power if you know how to work with it and invest. Investment is the key with this house, whether it be money or transmuting pain into something great.
⋆⭒˚。⋆ mercury opposite mercury in synastry is exhausting imo. Everyone says it’s square you should watch out for but nah. You guys just don’t understand each other, and it comes off as a really judgemental vibe. For instance, As a Leo Mercury every time I meet an Aquarius Mercury I feel super on edge because I feel judged for being “too dramatic”. At the same time, I am constantly questioning how they can be so cool, calm and collected at all times… it’s okay to freak out over minor issues from time to time, it’s fun!

Astrology notes part ?
I've honestly lost track of it all ಠ﹏ಠ
Also a/n : it's very short cause i just wanted to get back into the swing of things. College is sucking my brain juice dry and tbh i barely get the time to come to Tumblr much less make content.
So enjoy 😃
♡ Wherever Pluto sits in the chart, it attracts jealousy and irrational emotions. For example, my friend has Pluto in 4th house, the IC is associated with home mother etc. Her mother has expressed multiple times that she's jealous of her, and sees her as a competition to her fathers affections. All of this with no actions on my friend's part.
♡ Mercury dominants or especially geminis they need to stay updated on everything thats happening in their immediate surroundings. The tv show everyone's watching ? Yeah they watch it or atleast watch recaps. The drama or gossip everyone's talking about ? They know the deets on that ish. They have an inner urge to stay connected and relevant.
♡ People always have a negative opinion about saturn. Its a karmic planet and the planet of delays and lessons. Everyone is a bit cautious around the saturn placements of your chart. But imo saturn is a harsh judge yes. But if you understand what its trying to teach you, the lessons then you'll get bountiful returns in the very same endeavours as well. Lets take me as an example, i have saturn in 7th house and my first relationship was abusive and horrible. After that the flings i pursued were all emotionally unavailable men. But once i learnt my lesson and was brave enough to imagine a life without a partner, i was blessed with my current boyfriend. Saturn forces you to confront your worst nightmares, and when you've mastered it it rewards you plenty.
♡ Sun conjunct Mercury is a powerful aspect and it manifests in different ways depending on the house of conjunction, the signs involved in the conjunction etc. But one thing in common between all of them is that these natives will be known for their speech like the way they speak. Whether it be the tone or way of putting things. It'll make people admire them for ghat specific quality and they maybe famous for their speech as well.
♡ Second house rules money, and the ways in which a person can gain money easily. Positive planets in the second house can lead to them retaining the money they make and malefic planets there can point to natives losing money easily. That being said, the planet in 2nd house can point to how they can earn money easily. Neptune in 2nd house can earn money through metaphysical endeavours such as tarot, reiki healing, pranic healing etc.
♡ intercepted houses are a menace in peoples' charts. They will create chaos, confusion and will pull the native In two directions at once.
♡Aries in 4th house or IC were either bullied or were bullies themselves in their childhoods.
♡ People with mars in first house can either have a prominent scar or a mole in their face. This can also apply to people with mars-ascendant aspects whether positive or negative.
♡ Capricorn in 2nd house people have very expensive tastes in clothing and jewellery imo. They like the "classics" - Gucci, Swarovski, Ysl, Louboutins etc. they dress for class rather than for making a statement about themselves. Neither is wrong. I am just suggesting they prefer class over expression.

Astro Observations 2 🪽
Thank you for 120+ followers!! <3 this post has opinions and personal observations. Don’t take it too serious my babies. I love ur feedback. Please be kind, inform me otherwise!
Tumblr media
☁️ I love how many people in the Astrology community are Scorpio risings, have dominant scorpio/8H placements/degrees, strong pluto influence like we’re all trying to find the meaning to all the f*ck shit that happens in our lives
☁️ Another dominance that I see in a natal chart that is really into these practices is Uranus and Neptune.
☁️ Lilith dominance in a natal chart can be rough especially when they make conjunctions to mars or Pluto. Men can sometimes be so mean to you especially when you both are around other people and you’re just like what just happened 😃? You were just telling me your deepest secrets and desires?? Odd… Á la poubelle 🚮
☁️ Speaking of Lilith, I get annoyed hearing that certain asteroids like Lilith and Chiron aren’t considered a part of a stellium 🙄 because if you can have Lilith dominance in your chart you should be able to consider it a part of your stellium as well? Same with Chiron. If there’s many aspects to those signs as well and if everything is energetically interconnected like astrology tries to show us, you would think those two asteroids at most would be considered. Especially because these asteroids play significant roles in HEALING *cough Chiron cough* and stepping into your power (Lilith). Both asteroids take a shorter amount of time to orbit the sun than most outer planets and some inner planets likeee cmon y’all.. me complaining because I’d technically have a Sagittarius stellium if Chiron and Lilith was included
☁️ Whatever quadrant(s) the majority of your placements fall in is what you are meant to focus on in this life. In the last quadrant, your focus could be on the world around you, humanitarian causes. A lot of planets in your first quadrant your mission in this lifetime is to be more self focused.
☁️ Intercepted houses are interesting... I’m very thankful I don’t have them because my chart is already 😀😗 .. yea. But I realized I’ve come across a lot of people with them and those houses if you don’t know already have a lot of focus on the house it pertains to. Example: intercepted houses in the 1st and 7th house means one of your life’s mission is learning how to assert yourself, set boundaries, find balance in relationships and your free time.
☁️ People that have intercepted houses usually attract people that has signs that rule those houses to teach them significant life lessons. So if you have 1st and 7th intercepted you’ll have someone who probably has Aries/libra in big three or within their chart , if you have 2nd and 8th you’ll attract someone with Taurus/Scorpio in big three or in their chart etc etc
☁️ If you’re feeling unstable it’s best to connect with the element you have most dominant in your chart. Whether it’s literally connecting to that element by physically interacting with it or you are doing the themes in relation to that element. This also applies to whatever sign your mars is in. Surrounding yourself with the element associated with your mars can allow you to release and ground yourself.
☁️ For instance, if you have a lot of water in your chart/water mars, swimming or being by the water and journaling, drawing, whatever creative outlet feels most healing to you by the water can bring you some peace. Talking to the ocean, lake, etc. can be grounding and if you’re really into esoteric practices you can give the water an offering in exchange for peace of mind. Earth, going on a hike, feeling the earth (not concrete yuck) with your bare soles/palms can be helpful, hugging and talking to trees. (Side note fun fact, removing vines that are wrapping a tree is also like an offering because vines growing around trees are invasive and preventing it from receiving sunlight, ultimately killing it. Save your local trees!! I see this as a form of an offering as well) Mother trees will help you most. Fire, first and foremost please be careful. Secondly, working with candles can be very healing and watching the light, taking walks when it’s really sunny, sun bathing, solar plexus yoga could bring much peace. Sun bathing your yoni when the sun is at its peak :) it really works. Air, burning incense whilst having good air ventilation, journaling, stimulating activities like running or jogging while simultaneously working on the breath. Breath work, mental workouts like chess. I might do a post about all Mars signs and specific activity outlets. Lmk in the comments if you guys would be interested :)
☁️ To break out of your comfort zone, to attract newness into your life, connect with the element you have least in your chart!
☁️ The element you have least of is what you tend to attract in others
☁️ People that connect more to sidereal astrology usually have some old soul-ness to them. I’ve observed it’s usually modern Astrology earth placements, mostly Taurus placements that tend to value that system more from what I’ve seen
☁️ I’ve noticed water sign placements/dominance like anime and k-pop a lot. Honorary mention is Aquarius but more towards anime.
☁️ I saw @harmoonix say this in one of their posts recently but this has been sitting in my drafts for over a month so I’m gonna agree and add on lol (love ur posts fr— trendsetter 💐) Aquarius placements, especially in the big 3, love video games. Love playing games on their phone and on a console. Love technology, it’s their safe space— a way to get away from the world. Aquarius does rule over technology! They’re the most tech savvy in the family. Their elders in their home relied on them for that stuff lol.
☁️ Sagittarius placements, esp mercury usually have different genres and languages of music in their catalog
☁️ For Sagittarius to be in detriment in Mercury that placement has many fantastic writers, poets, lyricists etc.
☁️ Earth placements, especially Capricorns can out smoke you. Out-any-substance you fr it’s actually crazy to witness 😂😂.
☁️ Your Groom (5129) or Briede (19029) in your natal chart can not only show the actual sign or house placements that your partner may have but the synastry overlays you both may have as well. For example you may have your groom asteroid in the sign virgo. Your spouses natal placements especially big 3 could have those planets fall into your sixth house. Virgo rules the sixth house.
Tumblr media
☁️ This picture above is all Libra placements during this south node in Libra transit. The area Libra resides will show up and out! Villain era fr. Big 3 Libra placements will feel this way the most! This transit has me not giving ANY f*cks!
☁️ Your solar return rising sign is very important. It will tell you the themes that will take place in the new year ahead. For example: Virgo rising in your solar return has you more work and health focused. Should I make a post about solar return risings lmk in the comments!
☁️ It’s also interesting that your rising and moon sign in your solar return chart can pertain who you most come into contact with during. So if your rising is Leo that year you’ll probably befriend, get closer to, date many Leo’s or people that have Leo placements/degrees in their chart :). I can confirm that within each ascendant I have had in my returns since studying astrology the people I was closer to/in contact more with during the time period had those placements in big three especially.
☁️ not an observation but a statement of a dilemma of mine because I cannot choose between placidus and whole sign system. I deeply relate to both. I thankfully don’t have intercepted houses but I can see both sides to the placements in my chart and the different houses they reside in with both systems 😂 ok moving on
☁️ I use placidus house system mostly when I’m reading other people’s chart and whole sign when I’m reading compatibility charts
☁️ placidus is a better system to use for most people because we live in different hemispheres and that system caters to that imo
☁️ I realize most Pisces and Sagittarius placements loveeee green. It’s that Jupiter calling in that abundance!
☁️ Scorpio and Aries are ruled by mars and I have realized people with these placements like purple a lot. Capricorn placements tend to like purple too and cap is exalted in mars! Purple and black are associated with satur(n)day!
☁️ Saw an observation about sag mercuries always interrupt you and it’s true LMAO but they’re very passionate people and I think they just wanna get what they have to say off their chest
☁️ Sagittarius mercuries are the smartest Mercury sign imo.
☁️ Pisces placements especially in the big three are very crafty when it comes to talking their way out of being held accountable
☁️ Being around people that have the signs in your 2nd and 8th house can easily trigger you if you’re not actively working on healing your wounds
☁️ I haven’t met an air sign that doesn’t speak with their face and hands especially Gemini chile
☁️ Mars rules celibacy, Venus rules lust. I realize that people with strong Aries/Scorpio/Capricorn are not into having sex with multiple people simultaneously or can go long periods without having sex. They view sex as a very intimate activity.
☁️ hate to come down on my Venusians but Taurus and Libras and let’s not forget about my girl is exalted in Pisces! People with strong placements in these signs can be loyal but sometimes there can be wandering eyes. Like an itch they want to scratch so bad. Even if they’re very loyal in nature it’s more possible for them to flirt for fun or get into affairs more because they’re hedonistic in nature
☁️ when a Capricorn loves you they will always have your back and put into you financially to help your dreams come true. One of the most attentive , supportive people to have in your corner!
Tumblr media
🪽 I wanted to post this sooner but I’m currently grieving the loss of my Capricorn dominant grandmother who was my closest confidant and greatest inspiration, about a month ago. She passed during her Saturn return and Uranus return. She lived an incredible life. Strongest, most fearless person I know. An entrepreneur who knew how to get it! Some people didn’t make it into the new year with us and I hope you know that you have now gained an angel. I’m grateful to the Tumblr astrology community for sharing their knowledge. Astrology really helps me make sense of the world and I’m happy that we all find peace in that. Sending my love and best wishes to you all. Thank you for reading and tuning in xoxo 🪽

Different House Systems
When you look at a birth/natal chart you will see the wheel is divided into 12 sections. These are the Houses. The Houses are interpreted as an environment in which traits and associations "live", "stay" or "play out". The Houses are usually compared to a stage, the zodiac signs as the clothes or paint or theme, and the planet the actor. Each House corresponds to a different area of life. Different House systems vary in how they calculate these divisions, particularly the boundaries (cusps) of the Houses.
Placidus
Placidus is the most commonly used house system in modern Western astrology. It is also the house system I use. ✨ It divides the sky based on the time it takes for each degree of the zodiac to rise over the horizon, which means that house sizes can vary significantly depending on the latitude of the birth location. The placidus house system is where you may often see multiple signs in a house, typically 2, and when houses can be "intercepted" with 3 signs entrapping 1 sign in the middle of the house.
Topocentric
A modern system developed in the mid-20th century, Topocentric is similar to Placidus but uses the observer’s exact location (topos), which results in slightly different house cusps.
Whole House
This is one of the simplest and oldest house systems, used in Hellenistic and traditional astrology. Each sign becomes a house, with the cusp of the 1st house starting at 0° of the sign where the Ascendant falls. Every house is exactly 30°. This is a popular house type due to it being a clean system.
Equal Houses
The Ascendant is the starting point of the 1st house, and all twelve houses are divided into equal 30° segments. This ensures houses are an equal size and shares similar advantages as Whole House with its clear approach. This is also an older form of drawing a chart usually used in Hellenistic or traditional astrology.
*In the Equal house system, the degree of the ascendant sets the degree for all the house cusps. While the Whole Sign system, all house cusps start at 0° of each sign. In both House systems, the MC degree can "float" within the house it lands in.
Koch
The Koch system, developed in the mid-20th century, uses the Ascendant as the starting point and takes the time it takes for a degree of the zodiac to pass over the horizon into account. The calculation for house cusps varies depending on the individual's location, time of birth, and latitude. This is another popular house system.
Porphyry
One of the oldest quadrant-based systems, Porphyry divides the distance between the Ascendant and the Midheaven into three equal parts. Each house represents one-third of that quadrant. It respects the Ascendant and Midheaven as key angles. This is the House system the app Co-Star actually uses. Historically this house system frequently comes in and out of style with popularity. This House system has been used in both western and Vedic astrology.
Vedic Astrology House Systems (Bhāva)
In Vedic astrology (Jyotisha), houses are calculated using the Whole Sign system, but many astrologers use variations like the Sripati system (similar to Placidus) or Equal Houses. Vedic astrology places a stronger emphasis on lunar houses (nakshatras) and dashas (planetary periods). This aligns with the use of sidereal zodiac signs, which Vedic astrology uses.

✨Astro notes💫
Some small tidbits of info for you today.
1. Placements that are closer to 0° are stronger. (With degree placements and aspect orbs)
2. Jupiter indicates where you will find your husband. This doesn’t have to be in the natal chart, check your astrocartography chart and look for your Jupiter DC line and also how Jupiter is aspected in the natal chart.
3. Inner planet retrogrades, 12th house planets, and intercepted signs/planets are indicators of past life karma.
4. Decans are subsections of the degrees in a certain placement (example: I am a Leo sun at 5° so I fall into the first decan 0°-10°. Second decan would be 11°-20°, third 21°-30°)
5. North node shows us our cosmic destiny. Following this placement can help lead to your highest purpose.
6. Your “part of fortune” shows the area where you can achieve the most success, material wealth, recognition, luck, and abundance.
7. A stellium is when three more planets occur in one sign or house in the natal chart.
8. A persona chart is a deep dive on a specific planetary energy within your chart. (Example, basically a natal chart from the perspective of a specific planet and not from the sun. Remember, we are heliocentric. Our planets revolve around the sun. So if I wanted to see things from a lunar-centric POV, I would look up my moon persona chart, and so on with the other planets.)
9. Astrocartography is the study of how your natal chart aligns with various energies on a map. If you are interested in a certain area and would like to know where would be the best places, or not the greatest places for your energy, check your astrocartography chart.
10. Synastry charts show how two individual energies work together, while a composite chart shows how the energies blend together. Both are important to look at for relationship astrology, just different energies. Think synastry as how your energy plays off of each other, and composite as the energy you have together.

Whole Signs v Placidus - which house system is better?
Tumblr media
Ah yes, ye age olde debate... which house system to use?
When first getting into astrology, the majority will use the placidus house system whether or not they know it. Placidus is the default for modern/ pop astrology; every chart generation website automatically uses it. Nowadays, the most common runner up house system to placidus is Whole Signs (often used by traditional/hellenistic astrologers). Yet, there are many house systems...:
➔Whole signs ➔Placidus ➔Koch ➔Equal/ Equal (MC) ➔Porphyry ➔Regiomontanus ➔Morinus ➔Alcabatius ➔Campanus ➔Meridian ➔Vehlow ➔Meridian
In this post, however, I will give my own argument on why I use whole signs and why I disagree with placidus. If you disagree with me thats fine, but I hope to at least educate on how these house systems even work and the deeper meaning behind why using whole signs is improtant.
»»-------¤-------««»»-------¤-------««»»-------¤-------««
First, how does Placidus work?
The ascendant (as well as the dsc, mc, ic) is a mathematical point based on the on the sign on the Eastern horizon. Placidus works by marking the cusps of the houses into two-hour intervals starting from the time of your birth. This is then pushed every 2 hours for the 12th 11th 10th 9th 8th and 7th house cusps ( because by the 7th house cusp it has completed 6/6 of its daily solar arc ) and then mirrored for the houses below (already an...interesting method). It is a quadrant system.
How does Whole Signs (WS) work?
Whole signs is not a time based system like Placidus. Whole signs split the houses into equal 30 degree segments, much like how the zodiac signs are split, so each house is equal in size and all the signs start at 0 degrees. The ascendant point, MC, IC, and DC float within the house instead.
Main issues:
Historical
➥The maths for this was laid out by Ptolemy for the purpose of understanding primary directions, of which most people now believe was actually used to predict lifespan - not for a house system. And then eventually an astrologer called Abraham ibn Ezra interpreted Ptolemy's works as a house system which Placidus then came along and validated. ➥During the 17th century British astrologers took this and ran. The Church did not like Placidus' works and so the astrologers essentially pushed the system as revenge against the Church/a big F you to them, making it the popularised system to use. This sacrified accuracy. Placidus rests on a foudnation not even designed to be a house system in the first place which creates a lot of problems as we will see below. P.S. I would HIGHLY recommend reading this article on the popularisation of placidus for a more indepth, better explanation.
Functional
➥Placidus simply falls apart at extreme latitudes (which people ARE born at). Take this chart for example:
Tumblr media
Is everyone born at extreme latiudes suddenly inherently special for having such a chart where the houses are so vastly unequal and inutile in size? How does one go about interpreting the significance of this? Houses are literally swallowed up/duplicated or are massive or tiny. Just because your houses might not change so much in WS or placidus does not mean its still valid - a house system has to work for everybody universally. In WS however:
Tumblr media
This works and makes SENSE. It is not an issue of being able to interpret the so-called intercepted house (which placidus has the issue of as the maths for it was never intended to be a house system in the first place) or not, it is about being accurate in how to read a chart. ➥Notice how in the placidus chart it appears the ascendant is in the 12th house. This is another visual issue with placidus, for instance apps like CoStar will even tell you that your ascendant is in the 12th house... Placidus or not though the ascendant is always in or at the first house, the ascendant can never be in any other house - the 1st house is literally YOU. The cusps just looked messed up because of the intercepted houses. And chart generating platforms like CoStar relying on placidus mess up even further...
➥ Intercepted houses mean a sign/s is "swallowed up" and doesn't influence any house cusp, which contradicts the principle that every zodiac sign has a clear role in the chart (every house and sign matters whether or not a house is empty etc). The idea that a sign is somehow blocked or inaccessible is untrue, whether or not you think it relates to you (certain aspects in your chart for explain that feeling when read properly rather than this, either way astrology does not care about how you feel or how you wish your chart was; many people get upset that their sun sign moves from the 5th to 6th house for example in WS).
══✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿════✿══╡°˖✧✿✧˖°╞══✿══
Rebutting common arguments for placidus
"Whole signs doesn't take into account the rotation and curvature of the earth!"
✣First, as explained above, WS houses remain consistent regardless of the observer's latitude, avoiding the distortions and inaccuracies systems like Placidus introduce, particularly at extreme latitudes. WS houses rely on the zodiac's natural, unchanging divisions, which are independent of the Earth's curvature and geographic location (as explained in this post), providing consistent and straightforward house boundaries. ✣WS matches the universe's system. The signs, and therefore the houses are all about the sun rising from zero (its declination/ going from 0 degrees of whatever sign up till 29 and into the next) as the system follows every 30 degree section of the ecliptic , and correlates with the length of the sign's period. If the ascendant involves the ecliptic meeting the horizon , the ascendant point is a specific coordinate that is located within the first house whose cusp starts at 0 rather than marking the beginning of the cusp. Why should the house system not match what is going on above from which we observe and practise.
"Why not a time-based system if astrology is all about predictive techniques and seems so time sensitive?"
✣ Time doesn't exist in space in the same way it does here, time is just our tool to pinpoint moments against a measurement from which we can organise things (generally speaking). Time is, however, crucial for predictions only in how translate what happens up there to below, less so for diving the sky which is basically already divided for us. ✣ Time-based divisions, like placidus, introduce unnecessary complexity without adding real astrological value, as the essential qualities of the houses are fully captured by the zodiac's natural 30-degree segments in WS anyway as explained above.
"The MC and IC cannot be in houses which are not 10th and 4th!"
✣ Yes they can, this is quite straightforward. In WS, the IC can be in the 2nd-6th house and MC in 8th-12th (extremely rarely it can be in the 1st/7th house too). It is a floating mathematical point (like the asc and dsc) and does not mark the beginning of the 4th house and 10th house cusps like in Placidus. ✣ This is because the MC is the point where the sun culminates at its highest position in the sky at a given location, corresponding to the local meridian. The IC is directly opposite, marking the lowest point below the horizon. The MC and IC are not tied to the zodiac signs but are based on the intersection of the ecliptic (the Sun's apparent path) with the meridian line of the observer's location. This intersection varies based on the time of birth and latitude, and these points can occur at any degree of the zodiac. Because WS houses are aligned with the zodiac signs and the MC/IC are specific points along the ecliptic, the MC and IC can fall at different degrees that don't align with the 10th and 4th house cusps. ✣ This adds more nuance to readings. For instance, if the MC is in the 9th house instead of the 10th, it might indicate that one's career/public life/legacy/how they come off is strongly influenced by 9th house themes like higher education, travel, or philosophy. Thus, they add more information to how 10th and 4th house themes manifest. ✣ Here is a must-read article if you want more information (thorough analysis of MC/IC through the houses) on this topic: Patrick Watson- What To Do When the Midheaven Is Not in the 10th Whole Sign House.
Tumblr media
Ending thoughts
People find it difficult to move on from placidus because they think their placidus charts makes complete sense/they resonate deeply with it/ they simply prefer their house placements in placidus to WS. All this is because of, for lack of better wording, a skill issue. You think it makes more sense but thats because you don't actually know how to properly delineate a chart - end of. And that's fine, astrology is complex and interpretation requires a lot of practise and deep study, especially into hellenistic works for a richer understanding of astrology.
Using placidus makes readings and your understanding of astrology unnecessarily complex and undermines the true art of chart intepretation, allowing for pop astrologers to import their own 'psychological' analysis, for instance, onto you via astrology - a deep misuse. Astrology has never been about psychologically explaining yourself - it is a map of your entire life of which you will not always 'relate' to, especially at different points in your life because those energies simply won't be pertinent/obvious when we are 5 vs 50 for example. I have spoken about the problems of using "resonating" to determine the accuracy of your astrological studies in my introductory post already, but it is a point which keeps needing to be re-emphasised.
The Whole Sign system is the oldest of all house systems, used effectively by ancient astrologers for thousands of years. It provides consistent and reliable results, particularly in predictive work, without the unnecessary and inaccurate complications introduced by varying house sizes and interceptions. If you want to use profection charts for instance, or many other traditional techniques, placidus will not work.
Placidus (as well as modern rulerships and the ABC house system which I will make posts on later) will take a while to unlearn - it certainly took me a long time to adjust out of the grips of modern pop culture's inaccurate and misleading yet addictive astrology. This is okay. But at the end of the day, wrong is wrong no matter how you try to justify it.
However, it is your personal choice. Posts like mine can only hope to encourage you to explore the deeper layers of astrology. Things like WS can take a while to accept, or you may never accept it - but as long as you make that decision fully informed. Yours sincerely, an ex-Placidus user xoxo

intercepted signs
aries-libra: there is an imbalance between feeling like yourself and feeling loved. you may have felt your opinions weren't taken seriously or weren't heard, leaving you self-conscious and highly sensitive to the opinions of other people. you may now feel you have to fight to be heard or struggle to trust your own opinion of people or situations. your childhood home may have been very strict and even militant, with hard punishments for mistakes or wrongdoing. nowadays, you are probably quite hard on yourself, or conversely, may struggle with discipline and find it very hard to stay on top of your tasks. you may have grown up around authoritarian types, or angry people, leaving you with inadequate emotion regulation skills now. you may find it hard to control your anger, or may swing in the opposite direction and be a people pleaser, struggling to assert yourself. you might feel empty at times and feel you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted or loved. some people with this interception find it very hard to stay single, with their loved ones being their anchor and feeling empty and disjointed when not in a close relationship or not with loved ones. being alone can be very frightening with an aries-libra interception, but with patience and kindness, it won't be like this forever.
taurus-scorpio: the imbalance here is between control and chaos. you may have grown up in a difficult financial situation, or in an insecure home. conversely, you may have grown up financially very comfortable, but with caregivers that just didn't have much time or energy to spend on family, whether that was due to work or pleasure. as an adult, one of two things may happen when it comes to money, food and other resources; you may find it very hard to spend, especially on yourself, and live a very 'simple' life with few possessions and an emotional need to save or hoard money or essentials; or you may find it hard to save, spending your money indiscriminately and perhaps overindulging on things that make you feel comfortable. of course, there's nothing wrong with spending money on yourself, but it's important to think on your goals and more basic needs first. when it comes to relationships, a taurus-scorpio interception tends to indicate that love wasn't given freely in childhood. you may have felt you had to earn it, or that you weren't deserving somehow. nowadays, you may subconsciously 'buy' love, or even overcontrol your own resources and struggle to share, both emotionally and materially. finding a comfortable middle is the key here.
gemini-sagittarius: there is an imbalance between curiosity and wisdom. you may have grown up an intelligent but disorganised child, with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. bursting at the seams with energy and ideas, you might have felt a bit of an outsider growing up, like you didn't connect very well with your peers. you caregivers might have struggled to keep you stimulated and so boredom and escapism might be big themes in your internal experience. something else that could have happened, was the stifling of your curiosity. a lot of things can cause this, but it often relates back to bullying or harsh criticism in childhood making you feel 'stupid'. as an adult, this tends to make you highly self-critical, shutting down your ideas before they can really take shape. some people with this placement are afraid of academia and feel they 'can't' learn or study, while some use their academic pursuits to fill an emotional void. ultimately, this placement can cause delays in finding meaning and figuring out your path in life, but it doesn't erase it. it takes conscious effort to allow yourself to be curious, and let yourself explore the many options that life brings.
cancer-capricorn: there is an imbalance between comfort and stability. often, this placement denotes an unstable childhood; whether that is because of financial issues, a lot of house moves or travel in childhood, or issues relating to your parents, home just may not have felt all that safe. you may have felt the need to retreat inside yourself a lot, creating vivid imaginary worlds and dreaming these hard years by. you made it to the other side, but now what? the instability of childhood isn't something that's easily shaken off. it lingers, and often in one of two ways; you seemingly thrive in chaos and confusion, feeling dangerously bored when things get too 'normal'; or you desperately crave softness and sweetness, seeking comfort above all else. really, both of these options are comfort-seeking, though it's not always obvious. some will become very rigid and defensive in adulthood, focused on protecting themselves physically and emotionally. you grow up to be a sensitive soul kept behind bulletproof glass, which, while safe, is really no way to live. you are safe now, you can keep yourself safe, and you can do that while also letting yourself be a little bit vulnerable and letting love in.
leo-aquarius: the imbalance here is between the inner child and the empowered adult. if you have this placement, you may have grown up feeling disconnected from your peers. loneliness might have been something you faced a lot, and that could have led to your younger self feeling they needed to perform; to earn love. we all seek attention and affection, it's a very natural thing, but when you aren't given it freely, you learn that you only get it if you do something special, or even, be someone special. as an adult, you may try very hard to stand out, not seeing your authentic self as interesting or special enough for others to love. learning to find self-validation and not need to chase the conditional love of others is a real skill that takes time and work to master, but it's well worth the effort. you are bright, but work best when the work means something. you can't just clock in, clock out; and here lies the key. you are inherently special, as we all are, but more than that, you find your place in the world, your people, your passion, through meaningful, special work. you can achieve great things for yourself and your community when you find it.
virgo-pisces: there is an imbalance between pragmatism and pessimism. with this placement, you weren't taught discipline properly. that could either mean that you were raised to an unreasonably high standard, with militant and perfectionistic caregivers, or your home was chaotic and confusing, with no real structure or predictability. neither of these houses are healthy ones to grow up in, bringing us to the present day. you may find it very difficult to manage your life now, feeling at the mercy of the external world and easily becoming burned out and despondent. addiction can be an issue here too, as a means to escape the overwhelm of daily life. the key really does lie in mastering the basics, which can feel unfair at times, as you should have been taught these skills much earlier and not have to teach yourself now. it's helpful to remember here that what happened wasn't your fault, but what happens now is your responsibility. prone to anxiety and overwhelm, the world can be a very depressing place, but you can find balance between desperate escapism and cold, hard reality all the time.
libra-aries: here, the imbalance is between conflict and authenticity. growing up, there was an emphasis on things looking perfect, despite how they really felt underneath. you might have grown up with fundamentally good, but somewhat distant parents, and they may have been people pleasers themselves, spreading themselves too thin to really be present in your life. alternatively, you may have grown up in a codependent house, witnessing unhealthy relationships and what could be seen as a lack of will to improve things. as a result, you might feel you raised yourself, and are now a fiercely independent person. relationships can feel like a power struggle to you, more so than a close connection, and you can subconsciously 'fight' your partners for dominance. you don't like to submit or feel dependent, and so relationships can be very difficult for you. you may even feel you're better off alone, and they just aren't worth the hassle. while nobody needs to be in a relationship, being able to connect with people when you want to is an important skill; humans aren't built to survive alone, after all, and so reframing love as a positive, rather than a negative, can be a very helpful thing.
scorpio-taurus: there is an imbalance between power and connection. your childhood home may have held secrets, and trust was in short supply. you may have found your experience of childhood to be chaotic and even frightening. you were probably a sensitive child, and whether sceptic or superstitious, you might have had experiences you just can't explain away growing up. now, you are likely quite spiritual in your own way, and this brings a sense of meaning to your life. you may be quite concerned with making your space, appearance and professional life comfortable and steady, which, though an admirable goal, can become all-consuming if you aren't able to confront what drives it. the need for material security can sometimes be underpinned by a lack of emotional security within, which an out-of-control childhood could absolutely induce. reaching out to your shadow or inner child can help immensely to bring you fully into the present and help balance your need for safety.
sagittarius-gemini: here, the imbalance is between exploration and containment. traditionally, this placement would indicate moving around a lot as a child or having quite an unorthodox upbringing. whatever the case, you probably grew up with some very intelligent, though perhaps eccentric or ego-driven caregivers, who praised your uniqueness and interest in the world. whether it is through bullying, unkind words from family, or cruel feedback from teachers, you may have grown to feel you couldn't really think for yourself; that you were unintelligent or incapable of reaching your goals. education may have been a difficult experience, leaving you with a lot of internal conflict or confusion. now, you flounder a bit, unsure of where you're going and why. you can easily become close-minded and gossipy, as your active mind needs constant stimulation but academic pursuits can be daunting. finding some of your childhood curiosity, and nurturing that spark, can really help you to figure out what's going on for you and what is meaningful to you. you need to explore without just wandering, and wander without getting lost.
capricorn-cancer: there is an imbalance between expertise and cultivation. growing up, you may have been described as an 'old soul'. as a kid, this can feel like something to be proud of, but in reality, it tends to mean you've had to grow up too quickly. you might have been a carer, or had to fill the role of 'man of the house', whatever your gender... ultimately, you didn't get to be a kid the way that we all should in childhood, and so you might have struggled to fit in with your peers. as an adult, you are seen as mature, sensible and a go-getter, but underneath, you may struggle to care for yourself properly. you might have a really hard time with accepting and feeling your emotions, with anxiety around losing control or being seen as weak or childish. there's nothing childish about feeling, it's part of the human condition and caring is what makes us strong. you are a kind, compassionate person but may find you treat yourself very harshly, with high standards and strict punishments. finding some balance and learning to nurture yourself the way you do the rest of your life is what will really help you in the long run.
aquarius-leo: the imbalance here is between doing good and being good. growing up, you may have felt 'other' somehow; maybe you were an eccentric child, or grew up with an unconventional lifestyle, or had issues that got in the way of school and friendships. either way, you never quite found your people in childhood, and were left feeling somewhat anxious and unsure of how to act around your peers. like capricorn, you may have been seen as an 'old soul', but not quite in the same way; with aquarius intercepted, you perhaps weren't able to really express your uniqueness, and had to perform and fit in. as an adult, you may spend a lot of time worrying about where you belong, and who you belong with. your style, taste and friendship groups may change frequently, and you might not really know who you are outside of these things. some internal work can be helpful here, to get to know yourself, who and what you align with, what your morals and values are. forget other people for a moment and live for yourself; you'll find your people along the way.
pisces-virgo: here, the imbalance is between illusion and overwhelm. your childhood home was most likely chaotic and confusing; there may have been addiction issues, illness in the family, role reversals or frequent house moves. you had to become adaptable, and you did. but a deep sense of sadness and worry might have followed you through childhood, leaving you feeling easily overwhelmed and almost numb sometimes. as an adult, you may cling to routines, health and wellness as a way to feel okay, and this can be a great comfort, of course. but when life gets stressful, you may find you don't have many coping skills and are deeply affected by anxiety, sleep and health issues. the beauty and calm of wellness trends are very soothing, to be sure, but they are mostly skin deep. taking some time to pull back the curtain and look inwards is where you will find real healing. you have a quick mind and a big heart, and have the ability to see where the wounds lie and how best to mend them, it just takes a lot of bravery to face it head-on.

> Intercepted planets > P3 <
Tumblr media
Intercepted sun > Its hard for others to see you for who you are. Your personality is a lot to handle, and others typically will label you an attention seeker. Given the extremity of the energies within the sun; you are in-fact capable of shining like no other, you just need to learn how to handle all that attention. Intercepted moon > Its hard for others to have empathy for you, considering your weeping a lot or telling everyone "iM fInE". You are very emotional, but this allows you to have a greater capacity for understanding emotions like no one else. Or maybe your a statue always trying remind everyone your a statue and not human. Intercepted Mercury > You sound retarded. but your actually very smart, you just struggle to explain yourself given how much crap is whirring within your mind. Intercepted Venus > You are afraid of love because you crave love. You've been rejected a lot, and this has made you ironically more attractive; because everyone wants to fix the person seemingly unfixable. Intercepted Mars > You are constantly switching between being strong and weak, and this actually makes you appear more fierce to everyone in the room (because we never know which one is on display) Intercepted Jupiter > You have terrible luck, but actually you have good luck. Given your circumstances/ predicament its easy to call you unlucky, however the fact you survived those circumstances we can actually call you lucky. Intercepted Saturn > You are the laziest hardest worker. Your the type to not try in activities where you probably should try. but maximise your effort in something that doesn't require it. you search for authority in strange ways, and you get it more often than not. But since you don't want responsibility you self sabotage a lot. Intercepted Uranus > You are pretty fucking weird, but its hard for you to admit that. Everyone else looks at you like; "How do you exist" meanwhile your thinking your not much different to everyone else (you can just see everyones uniqueness easily) considering you yourself are very much of a "wat da fuq" Intercepted Neptune > You are extremely insensitive but then become very sensitive at the drop of a hat. I believe this placement can smell bullshit easily, hence the insensitivity, but when you do show some sensitivity its like where tf did that come from? You are so lost in your imagination and it shows > so you are constantly waking up from your delusions, only reinforcing the fact that you are indeed a delusional person. Intercepted Pluto > okay you guys are so secretive its almost impossible to trust you. Ik your secretive because you feel powerless but the reality is the more you hide the more I don't trust you, but your addicted to knowing my secrets....

Intercepted Placements
So, understanding the expressions of each of the axes and minor expressions of their affects on the houses, we have to look at each of these as the environment a planet is existing in. Rather than being lost, it's a child following a lost parent. Intercepted planets themselves find it difficult to find direction, almost to the same effect as a retrograde, in how we're unable to move forward until we step back and acknowledge and, if we can't fix, continue forward with a full understanding of our circumstances.
Of course, when looking at intercepted planets, we have to consider the house it's under, the sign it's ruled by, the aspects to it (+ the degree if you use degrees). These aren't going to be exactly true for everyone, because like I said before, there's infinite possibilities. Someone with an intercepted Gemini 11H Jupiter that may believe they can't make friends is going to have a different experience from a int. Gemini 9H Jupiter that might believe they'll never be as smart and proficient as they want to be.

INTERCEPTED SUN_ This is someone who finds it difficult to understand themselves, usually knowing exactly who they want to become, but having no idea where they are now. Being [told] can cause conflict, but sometimes it's that honesty that grounds us.
INTERCEPTED MOON_ This is someone who doesn't like to talk about or really even acknowledge the things they like, or how they find comfort. Their needs and their desires have always been secluded from each other, and in that, they learned to do the same.
INTERCEPTED VENUS_ This is someone who has difficulties with the entire concept of sharing themselves with other people, not understanding how to balance or develop partnerships because they tend to not ever have a specific goal with them.
INTERCEPTED MERCURY_ This is someone who's mind and mouth work at different paces, either not knowing what they want to say, or having to talk their way around a point until they find a road to it. They may feel too "different" to be included, but they just need your patience.
INTERCEPTED MARS_ This person is passionate where it seems to have no place and distant when it seems to matter the most, seeming to others that they only put their energy towards things that matter to them even if that's not true.
INTERCEPTED SATURN_ This is someone who has difficulty with accountability, not understanding the need to implement structure in areas of their lives that they think are operating perfectly fine without it. They're fine the way they are, even if they're not.
INTERCEPTED JUPITER_ This is someone who lacks a belief that they can succeed in the areas of live they're most focused on, accepting that their dreams are unobtainable even while still pushing themselves to the limit trying to reach them. Sometimes the approach matters.
INTERCEPTED NEPTUNE_ This is someone wanting to believe themselves so badly that they'll try to run through a wall before accepting that it is one. This is a need to be direct with ourselves, not consistently relying on the last possible way out to save us when we're wrong.
INTERCEPTED URANUS_ I think most importantly, this is someone who doesn't believe in the powers of manifestation, and that they will receive nothing special because they themselves aren't special. It's a destructive mindset that's constantly passed off as selflessness.
INTERCEPTED PLUTO_ This is someone who struggles with understanding their control in each situation, feeling they can't bring an end to things because they don't know what the [end] means. This is a placement with hesitation and every excuse in the book.

ʜᴏᴡ ᴛᴏ ᴄᴀʟᴄᴜʟᴀᴛᴇ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʙɪʀᴛʜ ᴄʜᴀʀᴛ
This is a tutorial on how to calculate your birth chart and what sites to use as a beginner who wants to know their chart or someone else's. If you're interested in more tutorial posts like this then let me know.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧ Using Cafe Astrology: You can use the site cafeastrology.com to calculate your birth chart. I recommend using this site for beginners since the chart is generated in a tabular form, making it easier to read and understand.
Step 1: Simply search "birth chart calculator cafe astrology" (or any other site mentioned in this post) in your search engine and click the link shown below.
Tumblr media
Step 2: Fill in your details and click ok. You will need to know your birth time and birth city to calculate the whole chart. You could check your birth certificate for it or ask your mother if she remembers the time or at least an estimated one.
Tumblr media
However if you don't know your birth time or can't find it, then check the box shown below. This will calculate the chart without your rising sign.
Tumblr media
Step 3: When the site has loaded after clicking 'Ok', scroll down until you see a table like this. These are your birth chart placements. You may notice that in the placidus table a sign appears twice just like in the chart shown below, it's called a interception and it's because of the house calculation method used (placidus).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can scroll down further to see the site's interpretation of your chart.
Tumblr media
✧ Using Astro-charts: I don't use this site often but I have seen others using it so I'll still put it in the list. All the steps are the same. Unlike Cafe Astrology though, the chart is generated in the usual wheel chart format and doesn't give interpretations of the placements, so it can be hard for beginners to understand at first. The placements are shown below the chart, you can just scroll down and read from there.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧ Using Astro-seek: A site I love to use often and would recommend to others. All the steps are the same and the birth chart is generated in both wheel chart and table format so anyone can use it and it also provides insights on the placements. This site has a lot of options and tools and may overwhelm a lot of beginners but if you're interested in astrology and would like to learn more about it, then you can use this site.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can also click the link highlighted below to go to the table form of the chart quicker in case you don't know the symbols of the zodiac signs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧ Using Astrodienst: A great site to use but I don't think I'd recommend this for complete beginners cause they might feel overwhelmed by it. You'd have to create an account on there to generate a chart though. On the bright side, your birth chart is saved there so you don't have to always type in the details to generate it.
Tumblr media
After creating the account, you may see your birth chart generated like this. If you find it hard to understand, you can click the button highlighted below to generate the chart in a table format.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That's all. There are many more astrology sites like these but I've shown the ones I use or have seen others use often. Hope you guys enjoyed this post. I'd probably do another tutorial post like this on how to read the wheel/round charts for beginners.

🪬 .✦ Astrology observations pt 1 .✦ 🪬
☿ Out of all of the Gemini placements, Gemini venus is the one that knows the most. They’re the ones you want on your team for trivia night. They’re the type to obsessively study and memorise the Wikipedia page for everything they’ve ever liked. They’re a storehouse for random, interesting little facts because they’re simply in love with knowledge and learning.
☿ Capricorn Venus have a very calming, orderly style to them. They have a tendency to be minimalistic, but even if they do own a lot of stuff it usually is organised in a very pleasing way. The stuff they own is usually in very good condition too because they take excellent care of everything they own.
☿ Gemini moons are into so many different and random artists. They’re usually really into a few at once and are the people who are always at some kind of concert. They would go to a concert even if they didn’t know the artist just for the ~vibes~
☿ 4th house moons can have pretty dysfunctional, even toxic family members but even so, they are really reluctant to break contact with them as their emotions are really tied to their family’s wellbeing. They usually will excuse or try to justify their family’s actions even if they are inexcusable in the eyes of others.
☿ Having a Taurus-Scorpio interception in the placidus chart can make a person become very bored with the stability of having long term jobs or a career. They may find themselves working in many different types of jobs over their lifetime even if they know something more steady might pay better. They may crave the stability of a constant job but actively run away from it.
☿ Sagittarius mars have a habit of not addressing their anger, particularly when concerning other people and just letting it go and stewing over it in silence. They can be very conflict avoidant.
Merry Christmas! X
