I've had some more thoughts on Leon, so I'm posting them once more

One of the overarching themes of Pokemon SWSH is the idea of Legacy and what that means to certain characters. I'm sure people more eloquent and who have gone more depth have talked a lot about what that means for certain characters like Hop, Marnie, Sonia, ect., but Legacy for Leon looks a little different.

For the other characters the things passed down (or in Hop's case he figured would be passed down to him), were things they either wanted, or were given by family members (Family being another one of those themes). In Leon's case, he was being primed to create his own legacy, one that could be passed down to someone else, and then fill in the gaps Rose left behind once Rose stepped down from his positions at Macro Cosmos. The other character's had choices in what they wanted to do (Sonia being the only one who maybe either didn't or felt like she didn't), but Leon certainly didn't while Rose was still in the picture. His whole legacy and future was handed to him on a platter, and Leon had to uphold it or else it would all crumble.

So I find it fascinating that instead of feeling lost immediately after having the rug ripped out from under him, Leon's first instinct is to build up his legacy again. Create something from the ashes. Honestly, it can come off as both him being resilient, and as him avoiding facing down the true meaning of what it is to lose. If he creates the Battle Tower, runs tournaments, helps other characters find redemption, then I believe he's likely trying to recapture what was taken from him, and also show he won't give up.

No matter what, he's free to create his own destiny, have a legacy he created, and I think that's neat

Ok, but can we talk about how in the Paris Special, Alternate Universe Adrien literally does not speak while not Claw Noir outside of saying his transformation phrase? We only got to see him de-transformed for a short time, but he was directly spoken to several times, and he did not respond verbally.

Di Giannantonio "surprised day by day" by VR46 MotoGP team's approach

Last year's Qatar Grand Prix winner has never been part of the VR46 Academy stable, but has been left "surprised" by the level of support he has received from the structure so far in 2024.

"Well, let's say the structure of VR46 is huge, it's incredible," he said. "Day by day they are surprising me more and more, because the focus of everyone is to bring everything to the rider, to protect the rider, to try to make the rider shine. So, it's not like a company who does it just for business. It's a team that wants to win and to give the maximum to the riders to win. So, it gives me a boost and confidence to push and to stay focused always. So, for sure with their help, I'm learning, I'm improving. I'm sure that during the year you will see some changes on my side."

And while he plans to hold some of his training sessions with the VR46 Academy, he will largely continue with his own programme.

"I'm part of the team, not part of the academy," he added. "So it's different. And I will continue to live in Rome, because we thought that it was better to continue to have my programme, that at the end of last year was working. So just mix the few things they can bring to me and maybe I can also bring to them for the other riders. So, we are planning to do some sessions together because for sure they can help me in some ways. They will follow me a bit more on the training set-up. And I have like their full support if I need to do one extra day or something, they can help me. And it's a new thing for me because all the riders organise our weekly routine by ourselves and having a team also at home that can help you in trainings and organising for the preparation for the races is a great step for me."

Thinking about one of my ocs, Green Guy, who's a god. He was someone else before but now he's just a guy. He's really not, he still has all his powers of his previous god name. And I realized that I had him essentially fake his death to transition. He eventually realized he wasn't a she/her? Logical assumption to fake exploring the stars he always wanted to explore knowing full well he's sending an empty ship to space with everything a god could need. And he's staying behind. To watch over a people he's watched over since the race began.
