In honor of my atrocious spotify wrapped i went and checked lovejoy to see whats changed other than my opinion and:

• in WU&IO, literally only portrait of a blank slate and call me when you like are good. That part at the end of Warsaw where the fella is like "it doesnt get any better" is good i like that but thats it and the rest was infinitely overhyped.

• Consequences fucking sucks idk what we were thinking

• One Day is still holding the number one spot for top lovejoy songs(unsurprisingly and deservedly), seeing as it is still a banger and was one of my greatest sacrifices, along with Perfume and The Fall(i love you and i miss you... muah)

• the new song is out. I already forgot what its called something to do woth sobriety and ill be honest its so mid. No KSI Thick of It and No JSchlatt Christmas Album, it sits rather uncomfortably in between. Like i wish i could think of another thing to say other than it invoked no emotions in me and i even tried to like it but i couldnt.

• they have EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND LISTENERS. tbf in the golden age it was well above 10mil im sure but also 800k is far too many people they are sooo mid. Go listen to Pact guys they have 2 monthly listeners and theyre married. Go listen to James Marriott he used to be buds with lvjy(cant be bothered) but now he doesnt like them(YIPPEE 🥰🥰🥳🥳🥳) AND HE MAKES BANGER MUSIC!!!!!! LISTEN TO DENIAL BY JAMES MARRIOTT!!!!!! [Missing-Link] Android CBT Delayed

The Android closed beta test that was intended to occur January 2024 has been delayed to further improve the game. It is planned to be held sometime Spring 2024.

A BACKROOMS DATABASE! I was doing it wrong all along... I was using batch, when I should have been using python, and it's more error faulty, more organized, and you can look to see if it has already been added! It is on version 1.0 BETA

I was SO PROUD of it, that it's only a few KB, and I decided to post it! It only took me 2 weeks to actually complete the thing!

And, every week, I add a minimum of 10 levels, objects, or entities! And, eventually it will be on gitlab, so people can expand it!

So much so, that there were times that he found this to be faintly amusing, though he had very little intention of making that particular train of thought known to her or to Vali. ❝You need not apologize. He is just…❞ What was the proper wording for this? ❝Enthusiastic.❞ Yes, that seemed to fit. Enthusiastic. Though truth be told, even that word was not quite enough of a proper description for that Strigoi. His eyes widened a fraction with surprise at what was said, but that surprise was rather short-lived. Of course Vali would see to it that he had food. Time could get away from him sometimes, and thus, before he knew it, morning had become night and he had barely had a bite to eat. ❝Ah, I appreciate the effort that was put into preparing a meal for me, but I assure you, the water was more than enough for me as a gift. I hear Vali went through quite an ordeal to get it.❞ But oh…that soup did smell rather appealing. It was still nice and hot too, the scent strong as it wafted from that pot to his nose – caressing his senses and nearly making his stomach rumble as a result.

     It was then that he was reminded of just how hungry he actually was. Sedene had kindly brought him a slice of cake during her trek to the bakery, but that was more of a snack than anything. It had curbed his appetite for a bit, but when he had resumed his work, he once again forgot about everything else. Even the tea on his desk had long since lost its heat, a rather sad state for what must have tasted heavenly an hour…or two ago. He honestly forgot when it was placed upon his desk. ❝Although…I suppose…it would be rude of me to not enjoy this while it is still fresh.❞ If Io helped, he had nothing to worry about in concerns to taste. His life wouldn’t flash before his eyes which was a definite comfort. ❝Thank you both for this. I will, no doubt, enjoy every bite.❞

Idk if anyone's ever talked abt these, but in the boueibu production images there's still some remnants of beta designs for the battle lovers!

From top to bottom; -Storyboard panels which clearly show that Yumoto was supposed to have dark hair at first. -Atsushi had shorter hair and sharper eyes (mainly his pupils). -Io had a softer bowl cut instead of the "I cut my own bangs in the bathroom mirror" thing he has now. His eyes were more open/bigger and upon closer inspection... it also looks like he had an earring? -Wom-san looking sopping wet and pathetic, like that kitten who fell face first into the milk. -And Ryuu... oh boy Ryuu. He's the whole reason i noticed the beta designs were still in here. Instead of a headband, he had hairpins, and no earrings. His haircut is still wild, but it sits completely differently. He is also small. Like. REALLY small. Smaller than Yumoto. I've placed their beta silhouettes over the final ones in the last image so you can see; everyone has pretty much the same height as their final designs except for Ryuu. -Strangely enough, I couldn't find any substantial proof for a potential En beta design. He looks slightly different in the storyboards, but so does everyone else (the boards are. REALLY rough.). His hair also looks ever so slightly different in the silhouette, but again, it's not substantial enough to say that he really did look different.
