I don't really like this UBGHFEIKJVKF
I liked the sketch when drawing it out but as soon as I started trying to draw the background that's when it all went to shit.
If you've seen my journey with my webcomic you know my struggle with backgrounds. Its not so much a skill issue, it’s an idea issue. Like- I know HOW to draw, but I don’t know WHAT to draw and where to put it, resulting in bland ass backgrounds. But other than that I think this is pretty good for just a one off drawings.

Be BOTH Team Bonnie & Team Monty
There is no wrong way about this. If you enjoy both characters, good! I love that, I adore both as well. Both are fictional characters, both are comfort characters.

How did you move your 3d modeling so well, I'm a 3d modeling student still new to this and I'm having a hard time for this kind of movement
well, I have experience from 2D animation! I animated 2D animations for YEARS before I started doing 3D, but I can give some tips!
Make sure your model has IK's! IK's allow you to keep a part of your mesh completely still! I usualy use them on legs, but they should be on arms too! Every model of mine has those, even if they aren't needed!
think of what you want to make before you start! what could help is making a simple 2D drawing of the poses you want to include, and then move the model accordingly!
I don't know if this is a feature in other 3D animation programs, but Blender fills movement between frames for you! You just need to space them correctly, and sometimes edit a few frames to limit object overlap!
I also use overshots a lot! An overshot is a frame which goes slightly further than the objects position, allowing for slightly better movement! I highly recommend watching tutorials or reading books about animating if you don't know some things! As I said I already have experience so it might be easy for me, but not for others!
What I also use is either physics sim (can slow down your computer!) or hand-animated physics objects! Like how I did with C!Pomni, where her hat and skirt both have bones along them, and the hat has IK's so I can move them correctly with the movement!
I haven't used those yet (I'm still learning! I do 3D modeling as a hobby, and I learn something new with every project!) but I've heard using paths is useful! It allows you to slide an object along without doing it manualy, I've seen people use it for things like walk cycles!
And the last thing, the expressions! How I did Pomni's expressions is pretty easy! I have both Shape Keys and bones assigned to the mouth, the Shape Keys allow me to make mouth shapes like O, which require a lot of deforming, and with the bones I can change the shape of the mouth to my liking!
I really hope this helps you! As I said I am still learning myself so not everything might be the best solution, it's just how I did it!

having some sort of chronic pain and tiredness issue and joint problems and whatnot but not knowing exactly what the problem is is really good at leading you feeling like you're faking it or making a big deal out of nothing or making it up. especially if there's a good day where it's not as bad and you can walk straight without limping for the first time in a year. but then you can wake up the next day and can barely walk and wonder why you can't just walk normal. it's hard to not guilt trip yourself into dealing with pain by trying to ignore it and force yourself to walk "normal" all the time

Part 2 of Echo‘s biased god portraits
In Greek mythology, the Keres, singular Ker,were female death-spirits. They personified violent death and were drawn to bloody deaths on battlefields. Although they were present during death and dying, they did not have the power to kill. The Keres were daughters of Nyx, and as such the sisters of Thanatos, the god of peaceful death. Some later authorities, such as Cicero, called them by a Latin name, Tenebrae ("the Darknesses").

how to build a digital music collection and stuff
spotify sucks aaaass. so start downloading shit!!
file format glossary
.wav is highest quality and biggest
.mp3 is very small, but uses lossy compression which means it's lower quality
.flac is smaller than .wav, but uses lossless compression so it's high quality
.m4a is an audio file format that apple uses. that's all i really know
downloading the music
doubledouble.top is a life saver. you can download from a variety of services including but not limited to apple music, spotify, soundcloud, tidal, deezer, etc.
i'd recommend ripping your music from tidal or apple music since they're the best quality (i think apple music gives you lossless audio anyway. .m4a can be both lossy and lossless, but from the text on doubledouble i assume they're ripping HQ files off apple music)
i also love love love cobalt.tools for ripping audio/video from youtube (they support a lot of other platforms too!)
of course, many artists have their music on bandcamp — purchase or download directly from them if you can. bandcamp offers a variety of file formats for download
file conversion
if you're downloading from apple music with doubledouble, it spits out an .m4a file.
.m4a is ok for some people but if you prefer .flac, you may wanna convert it. ffmpeg is a CLI (terminal) tool to help with media conversion
if you're on linux or macOS, you can use parameter expansion to batch convert all files in a folder. put the files in one place first, then with your terminal, cd into the directory and run:
for i in *.m4a; do ffmpeg -i "$i" "${i%.*}.flac"; done
this converts from .m4a to .flac — change the file extensions if needed.
soulseek
another way to get music is through soulseek. soulseek is a peer-to-peer file sharing network which is mainly used for music. nicotine+ is a pretty intuitive (and open-source) client if you don't like the official one.
you can probably find a better tutorial on soulseek somewhere else. just wanted to make this option known
it's bad etiquette to download from people without sharing files of your own, so make sure you've got something shared. also try to avoid queuing up more than 1-2 albums from one person in a row
tagging & organizing your music
tagging: adding metadata to a music file (eg. song name, artist name, album) that music players can recognize and display
if you've ripped music from a streaming platform, chances are it's already tagged. i've gotten files with slightly incorrect tags from doubledouble though, so if you care about that then you might wanna look into it
i use musicbrainz picard for my tagging. they've got pretty extensive documentation, which will probably be more useful than me
basically, you can look up album data from an online database into the program, and then match each track with its file. the program will tag each file correctly for you (there's also options for renaming the file according to a certain structure if you're into that!)
there's also beets, which is a CLI tool for... a lot of music collection management stuff. i haven't really used it myself, but if you feel up to it then they've got extensive documentation too. for most people, though, it's not really a necessity
how you wanna organize your music is completely up to you. my preferred filestructure is:
artist > album > track # track
using a music player
the options for this are pretty expansive. commonly used players i see include VLC, foobar2000, clementine (or a fork of it called strawberry), and cmus (for the terminal)
you can also totally use iTunes or something. i don't know what audio players other systems come with
i personally use dopamine. it's a little bit slow, but it's got a nice UI and is themeable plus has last.fm support (!!!)
don't let the github page fool you, you don't have to build from source. you can find the releases here
click the "assets" dropdown on the most recent release, and download whichever one is compatible with your OS
syncing
if you're fine with your files just being on one device (perhaps your computer, but perhaps also an USB drive or an mp3 player), you don't have to do this
you can sync with something like google drive, but i hate google more than i hate spotify
you can get a free nextcloud account from one of their providers with 2GB of free storage. you can use webDAV to access your files from an app on your phone or other device (documents by readdle has webDAV support, which is what i use)
disroot and blahaj.land are a couple providers i know that offer other services as well as nextcloud (so you get more with your account), but accounts are manually approved. do give them a look though!!
if you're tech-savvy and have an unused machine lying around, look into self-hosting your own nextcloud, or better yet, your own media server. i've heard that navidrome is a pretty good audio server. i unfortunately don't have experience with self-hosting at the moment so i have like zero advice to give here. yunohost seems to be a really easy way to manage a server
afterword
i don't know if any of this is helpful, but i just wanted to consolidate my personal advice in one place. fuck big tech. own your media, they could take it away from you at any moment

2k follower + Christmas Sim Dump
Thank you so much for putting up with me and my shenanigans this whole year whether that be on here, twitter or tiktok. I've experienced so much growth and community and for that I am grateful! I made new friends, found new avenues to explore, embraced my creativity and I can't wait to continue doing so in 2024. I've said similar last year, and I'm not so good with the mushy stuff, but here's a gift from me to you for giving me a platform to share a hobby (simming) that I experienced alone for almost 20 years, until now. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to those who celebrate!
From top left to right: Sarai, Sevyn, Keanu, Kade, Noemi, Amihan, Sacari, Noel
How to install this sim dump:
Unzip the downloaded folder and place the tray files into your Sims 4 Tray folder, which can be found at Documents » Electronic Arts » The Sims 4 » Tray. Can also download from the gallery (gallery id: simplug)
Place cc files from the cc folder into the Mods folder located at Documents » Electronic Arts » The Sims 4 » Mods.
Make sure to download all the custom content and sliders in the cc folder or else your sim will look different than mine
Here’s a video tutorial for the visual learners
-Do not repost or reupload my sims without credit or behind a paywall. If you decide to use my sims in your media, pleaseeeee tag me so I can see!

A buying tails PSA by franniesflowers on youtube !!!
Putting my buying tails PSA into written form too‼️
(Please share to help spread this information!)
There is a growing problem in the alterhuman community with many people, but especially younger kids, buying tails from cruel fur farms.
Amazon, SHEIN, AliExpress, and Temu are the three biggest sites that people purchase tails from. Every tail sold on these websites is sourced from cruel fur farms where foxes and other animals are subjected to horrific ab*se.
The tails sold on these websites may say “fake” or “faux fur”. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! Policies in China (where all of these shops are based) allow sellers to label real and unethical tails as faux fur or ethically sourced. The only tails safe to buy from these sites are POLYESTER STUFFED FURSUIT TAILS that look nothing like the tails you see many therians wearing.
The safest way to buy a tail that looks like the kind of tails you see many therians wearing is Etsy. There are three main options that I recommend.
1. Yarn tails, you can buy them from Etsy or watch a tutorial to make your own with yarn. They’re fluffy and they’ve got a nice weight that makes them feel real.
2. Faux fur or Mohair tails are also available on Etsy, you can commission them from sellers like TalesofMischief. Mohair tails look almost exactly like real ones, and Mohair is made from the hair of the Angora goat. It is not cruel because it’s just sheared from the goats.
3. Real tails, you can find many ethical ones on Etsy, but DO YOUR RESEARCH!! To find sellers and check if they’re ethical or not, you can search “fox tail taxidermy” on Etsy and click on the description of the individual sellers. Look for “wild foxes” and “foraged taxidermy”. Avoid any shops that say “farm raised”. The seller should find the foxes already d3@d, without k*lling them for the tail.
Here’s my top ethical taxidermists on Etsy!
•EvasFeathers
•RabidLlamaCreations
•SterlingFoxTaxidermy
*if you have already purchased a tail from Amazon, Shein, AliExpress, or Temu, it’s ok because you didn’t know and there’s a lot of misinformation. Please donate to a foundation like saveafox.org and treat your tail with a lot of respect and mindfulness for how it came into your hands. It’s also good to watch a documentary about these cruel fur farms, but they are triggering and not for younger kids because of the graphic ab*se they show*
Thank you for reading this! Again, please share if you can <3
Very sorry if you didn’t want to be tagged, just trying to spread awareness

Hey, you! Yeah, you with the cool neocities!
You're doing great! Really love what you've done with the place so far. Now here's something important moving forward. If you are making a neocities - especially if you are doing so with the motivation to fight back against Web 3.0 and reclaim the web as a space for individual users instead of for companies - please, keep the following in mind:

STICKY POST: ULTIMATE(ISH) GUIDE(S) TO SIMS 4 CC-MAKING; OR, A COMPREHENSIVE COMPENDIUM OF TUTORIALS, INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS, & FELLOW COMPILATIONS OF A LIKEWISE NATURE
In which I list a fuckton of tutorials, guides, and lists of such, each written, curated, and crafted by people far more talented than I.
More will be added as I find them.
---
@teanmoon's CC Guides - Includes tutorials on cloning, uv_1, weights, bump and specular maps, bi-color hair, and a Blender Cheat Sheet. High poly 'creators' have little excuse to churn out high poly, non-optimized garbage when they can lean on bump maps. (I know those can only do so much for more complex meshes, but for objects, texture maps can do SO much heavy-lifting).
@vintagesimstress's CC Guides - Includes tutorials on using Blender to create objects and clothing, especially for people who are just getting started.
@eliavah's uv-1 adjustment tutorial. Haven't tried this myself yet, but after glancing through it, it's something I will surely want to keep bookmarked.
@simlaughlove's CC Tutorials List - Includes many tutorials handily laid out by category on everything from object texturing to CAS morphs.
@thefoxburyinstitute's Nav Page - This blog is nonstop Sims 4 resources for e v e r y t h i n g. READ THIS POST FIRST as a guide on how to actually... nav.
@simsresourcehub's Tags List - What it says on the tin.
Transferring Weights in Blender 3.3.1 - Over at Sims4Studio forums.
@trillyke's List of Tutorials - Good ones!
@sims4tutorials - *GRAND GESTURES*
@katverse's Huge List of Tutorials - Tutorials on eeeverything.
@thatsimslady's Massive List of Tutorials - 31 pages????? Damn.
