and yk i think its mostly because i hold dan and phil (especially dan) to a higher standard than other influencers just because they Do want to portray themselves as somewhat ethically correct. i say especially dan bc he made we're all doomed specifically about the problems in the world. and they do the whole "we're not influencers" thing because they dont want to be lumped in with the influencers that are just shilling for whatever company will pay them. but no matter how much they want to place themselves away from other influencers they are still doing the same thing. and for the most part i think they are discretionary about which sponsorships they take (for one thing they've never sponsored betterhelp even though im guessing its tried to get them to) but that doesnt change the fact that they Are being used to push ai here. and it feels to me that they (again, especially dan) love to make statements about the state of the world and society so it feels like theyre not putting their money where their mouth is by agreeing to this. how can you pontificate about how the world is falling apart then work with the thing thats destroying the world

okay this is so random but it popped in my mind just now and I have to share it.

I feel like a lot of the fandom head canons(and honestly canon stuff that we play up/ exaggerate because we unfortunately only have crumbs front the show) about Leon are very autistic coded and I love the thought of that. like his fixation on crossbows? a hyper fixation. and the commonly used "Leon gives very detailed grain reports" in fics? the whole "perfect knight who follows rules very carefully thing"? please tell me someone else sees what I see

how did u feel about the 2nd Terrifier movie? i saw it on a first date so it wasn’t the best experience… but revisiting it I can enjoy it more. good sfx

So the first one is 1h30m i believe, and I know when I watched it and saw I was 40 minutes in i was like wow its been that long and it feels like not much has happened huh. But then it did what it did and it ended.

For the second one I was like oh its been 40 minutes. Hopefully it starts kicking off like the first one. And then after what felt like an hour only 10 more minutes had passed LOL and the entire rest of the movie felt dis way

I like that this one had more of a semblance of a plot... The clown cafe song is stuck in my head... Sfx is good but hm im not sure how to describe this....im not one of those "omg this is just a legal snuff film u guys are evil for watching this" people nor am i a "ermm if u cant handle this ur a prude and a little baby actually" person but more somewhere in between or outside. I love movie gore, when i was younger I watched Saw SOLELY for the traps, i didnt even know the plot until more recently LMAO

but obviously That One Scene...idk! I dont think it was too much in the "prude" way nor was i clapping and cheering but it did evoke a "ok come on wrap it up" feeling from me...like these faces combined...does dis make sense. Not walking-out-of-the-theater disgust and revulsion OR enjoyment/glee but just mostly straight faced this ⬇️

The first movie has a naked woman being split in half from coochie down so its definitely not the gore itself here that evoked this emotion ykwim

Here's a word of advice

If you talk about your experience shipping something or feelings of guilt and shame, which I've been there mate I get it, just be aware that other shippers can see it as well.

If you say shipping something is wrong and you know it's wrong, you might be talking as a shipper, but you are still making other shippers who might not have felt that way feel that way. They might not have felt any shame or guilt until now. They might not have felt what they were shipping was weird and fringe and ostracized until you reminded them that some of us are second-class citizens of this fandom and there is no way for us to escape that label.

Not all of us like degrading ourselves like that, making jokes about how we are sinners and how our ship is trash. I am not gonna roll in the trash, I am not a raccoon. I am a person who asks for respect, and not the condescending, backwards, you-do-you, winking and nodding bullshit.

And you did that as a multishipper which is okay to be, but, some of us don't get the luxury of hiding behind our more acceptable ships. Not me, because I don't have them.

Ok, ok, just some context: Rendezvous said recently that Maestro reminds her of Hyodo (leopard) from 3 season of Aggretsuko. Maestro sounds and looks rather intimidating (in a bad sense), but when you get to know her better you realize that she is rational and trustworthy. And I thought.. it's a very decent parallel XD

So me and Gentry made another collab of Maestro being manager for the idol group and so Fantozzi, Burgundy and Guru as singers. Decided to keep the original uniform, but maybe will change it for a bunch of reasons.
