… You've asked Sif to date you in six loops now. Six times, knowing nothing mattered — that in the end you'd just go back and he'd never remember, you asked him to be yours. And… he said yes. Every time. They said yes. You went through six loops with Siffrin as your partner.

Is it comforting? To know that they return your feelings?

The first time you were overjoyed! The others were still… nice. Weren't they? It was nice! To see them look at you that way! In the bashful, giddy sort of way you look at them. It was fun to watch Bonbon win their bet with m'dame Odile, to see Mira's shock. Holding Siffrin's hand never stopped being something that made your heart swell.

Six times is… a lot, though. You've been doing this whole thing a lot, to be fair! It was just different with this! And maybe it's not actually different, but it feels different.

Because… it's not fair to them, is it? That you get to do this over and over again? That you get to learn all these details they'd never share with you if you weren't looping? You love them. That's what you tell yourself. Would someone who loves somebody do this to them? Use them like a model? Tweaking the details until it's perfect? You say all the right words in the right order, make them feel loved, hold them close.

But do you love them still?

"Um… Isa?" He speaks, drawing you from your thoughts. "You wanted to ask me something?"

You did. You do. You want to ask him to be yours. Again and again and again. To feel loved by someone so dear to you. Always.

Change. How awful is that?

You're a monster. How could you ever do this to someone? Force them to be with you so many times? How could you! Sif doesn't have a choice! You've entirely taken it away from him! Stitched his mouth and tugged at the strings until they said exactly what you wanted them to. He has no option but to say yes to you!

Really impressed by ISAT's Suspicion route bc of how it manages to really effectively convey a very particular, complex emotion through gameplay.

At first it seems like the player and Siffrin have opposing goals - Siffrin wants to keep the time looping secret, whereas the player is trying to reveal it on purpose by acting suspiciously - you have to do a bunch of stuff that there is no reason to do all in one loop to get it after all.

Except that you don't really have opposing goals. The suspicion route to me reads as a very clear cry for help from Siffrin - they are, of course, unwilling to go through the ordeal of actually telling anyone that something is wrong and they need help, so instead they're behaving in this very specific suspicious way and praying that someone notices on their own.

thinking about compiling one large guide on how to get all the extra stuff/side quests/missable content for each of the acts on my second playthrough. there’s genuinely so much content in this game its crazyyy but maybe that would be genuinely too weird. i need to be a lil more normal about my interests i think.

for context I caught bonnie eavesdropping and stared at the pineapple option afterwards for about 5 seconds before coming to my senses

If I wasn't going for the OP achievement early so I didn't have to do it later I 100% would've though

in other news I have a new idea as to how the loops start to mesh together somewhat for ACOH, and it very much directly involves this

I feel very bad for Bonnie though cause depending on how much of this idea I use they will feel Very Guilty for two of Siffrin's deaths and not just the tear one...

anyway, actually explaining my idea here!

So, we've seen how the deaths make everyone loop back, it's still gonna play out almost exactly the same with that. And the effort of the timeline to keep your equipment with you while also not breaking people's minds is still there, that's just the timeline fixing itself.

But what about the points like with Bonnie, where you go back a bit to prevent that?

What if it wasn't solely caused by [??????? ??????], but also something fucky with the others' memories?

After all, I don't think Bonnie-who-remembers-accidentally-pushing-Siffrin-into-a-tear would accept saying some of the things they did in this situation (source: similar breakdown at similar age, albeit over something very stupid and with a very different reaction, would not have said some of the things I did if I knew the world wasn't ending)

and then Siffrin takes the pineapple and fucking perishes. Not Sure whether it'll be it slipping their mind entirely (previously they were hyperaware that "pineapple? kills me maybe??"), brain fog mixed with guilt over the situation (and the fact that it won't just magically get that much better despite the rewind), or just straight up "I made them irrevocably upset this time, let's start this over entirely"

I am very much unintentionally traumatizing the fuck out of Bonnie here. Why is there so much opportunity to do this. Is it going to get worse. Bonnie can't look Siffrin in the eyes their next loop until they all nearly go through the hallway without dealing with the boulder first.

I was fully intending for Isabeau and Siffrin to be the first whose loops cross but this is an Opportunity if you can't tell.

Depending on how I play with this idea either Bonnie will talk with someone (likely Odile) about the loops (!!!!) or I'll keep with Isa and Sif being the first to talk together about it

desire to play more in stars and time bc i missed some really good optional events and would maybe like to 100% the game vs never wanting to touch the game again bc i cant stomach the thought of forcing sif to go thru one more loop

I just found out the name of the achievement on Steam for seeing 3 Ghost Siffrins in a single loop :

And I find it especially funny bc I made a very similar joke on Discord after the first time I saw it happen.
