Okay so Stardiamond is suspicious right. But I do also feel like there's the rage thing, and also like some kind of spell happened and then he got mad. And like before that he was fairly normal. But Stardiamond was up to something according to Lola so idk.

I'm a little grossed out that they took Kipperlily's therapy file. Like that's very eughy. How would they feel if Adaine's therapy file was taken? That's super crossing a line. I wish they'd taken her file from any other teacher or the front office or something.

But anyway. Ignoring that. Why does she hate Riz so much?? I'm so curious!! And 8:01 on the first day of school?! Wild!

The exam questions are fun. I mean god I'd be so stressed in character and as a player. But as a viewer, they're fun. I'm excited for the rest of them.

Canon versions of Supernatural characters as undergrad professors

Dean: Acts like he hates his students but is everyone’s favorite. Hilarious but you’re not sure if you’re allowed to laugh. Lectures are fun, interesting, and informative, but you have to decode his pop culture references and you will drop a whole letter grade if you say anything even vaguely disparaging about Led Zeppelin (or, god forbid, don’t know who/what Led Zeppelin is). Believes in hands-on learning, so there’s a lot of in-class activities. Not approachable in the least, but very understanding and willing to help anyone who has the guts to ask. Casually drops the most insane details from his life and moves on; refuses to elaborate when questioned (also there’s no way he could have done all the stuff he’s claimed he has when he’s still this young?). Could have a knife stuck in his chest and would still come to class, but will get one text from his husband or kid and end class forty minutes early. Exams are challenging but easy enough if you attend class and take decent notes.

Sam: Not an easy A, but not a difficult one either. Definitely a case of “you get out what you put in”. Happy to grant extensions on projects, but you basically have to have a therapy session with him in exchange. Interesting if you already like the subject, but probably won’t get you interested if you don’t. Seems about as normal as any academic but at least once a week will say something completely out of left field and act like it’s not the craziest thought anyone’s ever had.

Charlie: Spends the first class showing you how to pirate all your textbooks. Super fun, but don’t make the mistake of thinking that means she’s a pushover. Uses Lego action figures to reenact ancient myths, and offers extra credit for LARPing. Adopts any and all baby queers. In lieu of a final exam, the whole class has to do a dramatic reading of Lysistrata in the school’s amphitheater wearing chitons she taught you to make earlier in the semester to an audience comprised solely of her and her best friend.

Rowena: Terrifying in lower-division classes; fun and chill in upper-division classes. Doesn’t tolerate insolence in lower-division; loves when you challenge her in upper-division. Genuinely wants to help you learn. Rewards ass-kissing but rewards effort more.  Reassures you when you mess up that you can never be as good as her anyway. Invites your 400 class over for dinner and makes a joke about the food being poisoned in a way that makes you feel like maybe she’s not joking? Possibly having an affair with the dean. Heavily attended office hours.

Crowley: Genuinely hates his students (except for the elite few he likes), but a weirdly forgiving grader. Very easy to distract and get off on a tangent. You probably won’t learn much but you will have a good time. Exams are either a cake walk or downright impossible. In a feud with the dean.

Bobby: Both the most knowledgeable and the wisest person you’ve ever met. You want to record all his lectures and then transcribe them because every single thing he says is the most profound thing you’ve ever heard. Sincerely wants you to succeed. Everyone wants him as their advisor. Never assigns essays in his GE classes because “the students don’t like writing them, and more importantly, I don’t like reading them.” In a feud with the dean, and extremely smug in the knowledge that the dean can’t do jackshit to him because he’s tenured.

Castiel: All his lectures are either insultingly elementary and broad or doctorate-level technical and specific. No patience for stupid questions. Constantly refutes things in the textbooks but refuses to cite his sources beyond “I was there” (when writing was invented??). Cancels class at least once a week “due to a family emergency”, but then you run into him at the local arcade with his husband and/or son. Never returns homework and seems put upon/confused when you ask about it (usually says something like, “Human markers of academic success are meaningless,” and just squints at you if you ask what he’s doing in academia then). In a feud with the dean, the provost, and the university president. Essay-only exams. Rumor is he’s never given anyone an A.

You getting up was never is a problem for Bo. You’d always be up before him or at the same time ready to talk his ear off, make him breakfast and help him around town to clean things up or repair stuff. Sometimes he’d wish you would shut up or stop talking just for a minute. A few times he has snapped at you, didn’t really apologize with words but still hugged you or said you could start talking again. He couldn’t admit it but he loved how you had anything and everything to talk about. How much you moved around and how you never seemed to want to stop even when you needed to. You were quite literally an unstoppable force.

Today though, you seemed to have stopped. You didn’t get up with Bo, he went to check on you but didn’t want to wake you. Maybe for once you were so exhausted you needed the extra sleep. That was okay with him, except sleeping through the morning turned into sleeping through the afternoon. During lunch Bo checked on you again.

Bo he didn’t wake you again. He couldn’t. You looked peaceful.

Afternoon turned into evening and Bo finally touched you, you skin didn’t feel hot or clammy. There’s no way you were sick. What the hell was wrong with you?

Selfishly he shakes you, he keeps shaking you until you wake up groggily.

“Honey Cake. Hey, you’ve been asleep all day are you alright?” He asks, his brows furrow, you nod your head tiredly.

“Yeah baby, I was just tired. Is it okay if we just lay down? I don’t wanna get up today.” You explain. Bo lets out a small sigh of relief.

“Yeah baby. I can bring up some snacks and water if you’d like.”

You nod your head and turn to his side. He does just what you agreed to and then lays down next to you in bed. You eat and drink water before knocking out again. This time Bo is cuddled up close to you.

The next day was back to normal. You talk Bo’s ear off as the two of you clean one of the abandoned convenience stores in Ambrose and Bo smiles realizing how much he missed you talking and moving around yesterday.

The two of you are like a fireball in the sky. Lots of energy flows through the two of you. Everyone swears you feed off of each other like plants and animals do to each other.

Constant talking, roughhousing, drinking, and sex are musts with the two of you. Your friends confirmed that when Jukes said the two of you also talk and kick around in your sleep (which explains the unknown bruising always on each other).

You never struggled to get up and get moving, Bobby usually did, but once he was going, he was gone, really the two of you were gone.

Today though, was different. Bobby got up around 12. You weren’t even up yet, he shrugged and laid in bed longer, not caring about lazing around. Whatever his significant other wanted to do he was down for.

Except he started to get bored. He didn’t want to be rude and wake you though. So he quietly got up, took Dog Travis for a small walk and came back with some burritos.

Yet you still weren’t up.

Bobby’s anxiety then started going crazy. He checked for a pulse, you were still alive. Then he called Jules to ask how to tell if someone was sick. Bobby then checked if you were sick. You weren’t.

Eventually his anxiety got the better of him and he shook you awake.

You shot up out of the bed looking around frantically.

“Are you okay Nugget?!” Bobby asks, you look him up and down.

“Yeah! Why’d you wake me? Is something wrong?” You sit back on the bed. Bobby looks over at the clock.

“It’s almost 2. You’re never asleep for this long. Was just checking to see if you were alright. I brought you a burrito.” Your boyfriend points over to his table.

“Yeah, yeah I’m fine. Just felt tired is all.” You yawn, already starting to lay back down.

“Oh, okay. Let’s just lay back down then yeah Nugget?”

You nod and he wraps his arms around you snuggling into you as the two of you sleep the rest of the day away.

favourite character ivy wings of fire i love you so much and i'm so sorry the fandom treats you and your debut book like trash just because you're a human in a dragon book series and i wish you were written better </3 i hope you know that ivy wings of fire was The glorpy of mine before i got into pmtok i had so many aus i'm still so normal about her i want her to be safe and happy and cherished that is all

second favourite character i'll be normal for once and say a dragon character in the dragon book series anyways it's some rando side character named boto. from what i remember he was silly rainforest dragon who just gave me the vibes of worlds shyest even if it was just him being nervous for the sake of plot. he appeared briefly in a few of the books and i think there was only one or two times he was properly called by name. i love this guy (my other pick for this that was more normal was winter he's one of the protags and i'm normal about him i wish he was written better)

least favourite character i was gonna say qibli but honestly i have more grievances with The Fandom's Characterization and Biases(tm) than qibli himself. and with humans like not even heath i genuinely hate i think it's fun to make fun of that guy and also i found that piece of shit interesting to write. but points at blue and cricket I Don't Like Them just by proxy of how i just. dislike how the third arc was handled getting into the specifics of those two would be its own whole essay just know i don't like them. ignoring those two bc it's a third arc thing tsunami annoys me

🍒 What’s your favorite character dynamic to write? (Can be romantic or platonic, specific or general!)

I think that I gravitate towards dynamics that have a lot of emotion and connection to them. Like you've got the relationships that have a lot of history to them. Asta & Yuno are effectively basically twins and their bond runs deep. EraserMic have known each other for 15 years and they share so much baggage and it's fun to explore how that might have drawn them closer together. Devil's Minion (Armand/Daniel) have like an at least 13 year history if not longer depending on which canon you're talking and there's just so much going on there you can explore.

But deep connections can sometimes be something that's swift and drowning almost like Destiel or they grow on each other like weeds after some time and energy like InuKag and that's also fascinating. This is also why I like the League of Villains as found family because I think their ability to trauma bond to each other quickly is a fascinating thing to explore.

I think in general I'm fascinated by how people can come together, can choose each other be it platonic, romantic, etc.... and it's so fun to write characters that have that kind of charge to them

🥝 What’s your favorite trope/AO3 tag to write?

I love writing crossovers, though I don't do it as much as I could. I think it's fun to either swap scenarios or settings to see what happens or combine casts of things to see how they all interact with one another.

I also like to take inspiration from places like Tumblr, LJ, etc...because I always like to write things I think people are looking to read and I like being able to jump from some post to whatever scenario pops into my head. It's why I have a whole series dedicated to all the inspirations I've gotten from Tumblr over the years.

🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.

Oh I have so many blorbos. I have so much affection for a lot of characters in a lot of things I read and watch. I think my blorbo of all time though was Dean Winchester. He's just so relatable on many levels and you can just explore what's going through that head of his, how trauma might have shaped whatever's going on with him. He also felt very effortless to write even though my SPN fics could have been better if I'd been more into the editing process at the time I wrote them.

The thing I could never get into with him the way a good chunk of fandom seemed to was the incest stuff. I have a brother who's about five years younger than me so to me, Dean and Sam are pretty normal siblings when you take away the trauma bonding. Like that episode where Gabriel shows up the first time "Tall Tales" I think it's called had me on the floor because that was like peak sibling content. The wallet scene reminded me of when I was 10 and my brother was 5 and I would babysit him when he was grounded from the TV and I'd have to get the remote control away from him and put it on top of the fridge.

I also think the ending Dean got in SPN was a bit BS because like I always kind of wanted him to eventually become a kind of Bobby to a new generation. To kind of become hunting adjacent, because I think he never could have fully gotten away from hunting, but I think he'd have liked the grow his found family aspect of that and make little gadgets for other hunters to use. Get him to a healthier relationship with Sam while he's at it, like they seemed to be moving towards at the end of season five where Sam can come and go and live a life outside of hunting, though Sam too would probably never be completely free from it.

Character opinion bingo Bobby Drake?

hmmm this bingo card is unable to encapsulate my feelings about bobby drake. love that guy, love how much he loves his friends, love when he gets angry, love all the work that's been done recently that talks about how he felt about being in the closet. bobby as a closeted gay man is very important to me and a very important dynamic and i like it a lot. i don't really have anything to add to any character analysis of him, he's just neat. i like him.

OH also ok i think his ice form looks VERY cool depending on who's drawing him and i still haven't found a way to draw it that i think looks great in my style. i am unable to capture him. actually normally when i draw him i draw him in like. teen o5 stuff, so i just draw him in snowman form, but i think that version looks really fun to (and is ALSO extremely fun to draw). so that's the explanation for him being cool looking.

Well the fates A.K.A having to go back into the office for work every day have conspired against ME having energy to do anything and to answer asks during lunch since I prefer to type them on a keyboard instead of do them on my phone.

I am once again a little lost on how to feel about the episode. It was fun, I (mostly) had a good time, but I got to the end and it was just like...that was it? I think on top of my irritation with the way they handled the Noah storyline, not getting much else left me feeling a little, honestly, bored? The dog bit was fun, and the Henren stuff was *chef's kiss* but...no one else really did anything? We got little blips of Eddie and Buck and Bobby and Athena, we saw Madney talk about the "house manager" and Maddie mention the case at work but no deeper talks or mention of Chim getting abducted at work, it's like since they cut the "couples therapy" scene they are just totally back to normal which is a shame. I mean, I ADORE Madney but if they were going to (stupidly) break them up AFTER the big speeches in Boston instead of showing them working through things together from that point on, then we need to see them actually working on stuff together!

The fist call was fun (detective Buck for he win!) but that DIY call was...a bit of a mess. Oh, lets just stab around until we find something like no?? Maybe we shouldn’t?? and Buck and Eddie coming back felt weird and out of place because it wasn’t like the broke down a door and knocked a hole in the wall! That kind of damage probably needs assessing by someone who actually knows what they are doing and what building codes are, plus if she has insurance or anything it could get messy if the people fixing it are licensed because if there are issues later she could still be at fault for not having it fixed professionally. It all would have been weird enough but also the weird vibes from those two supposed siblings was...sure something that happened. Nice to know I wasn’t the only one who felt weird about all that. I’ve already talked about the Noah stuff but boy that choice is gonna haunt me for awhile.

Mostly, I’m confused about how all these scenes are going on but like, nothing much is really happening and despite all the potential, things have been boring and I don’t like that. BUT they are boring with cute firefam scenes instead of infuriating with BT or L scenes so I’ll take the improvement! And on the bright side, next week looks like it’s going to be An Event and I’m really excited for the potential in this one too. Fingers crossed they don’t let us down!

life always changes

hi i am just ameda. ameda (rhymes with anita) for those that do not know how to say it. yes i’m writing in all lower case font. why you ask? well because i’ve always been one that didn’t mind going against the grain as long as it didn’t harm or maim another person. i just now deleted the previous writings i had on here because it only covered a part of my ordinary yet fun life. so lets start at the beginning. people been telling me for years i should write a book. but in the world of technology why do that when i can just give them a free blog to read if they want to know about me right? 

so i was born in kentucky and currently reside in minneapolis, minnesota. had a pretty ordinary childhood in my opinion as a lot of childhoods went through the 80s. I experienced life at the very beginning of 1980. so the 80s were my introduction to life. my parents divorced when i was 7 years old. which in the 80s a child having divorced parents was very normal. my mom was the daughter of a coal miner from eastern kentucky. my dad came from a fairly average family out of western kentucky. both of my parents were mixed raced even though they looked white my father is still living and 72 years old. my mom passed away at age 54 unexpectedly in 2014.  They both grew up with parents that were inter-racially married. this piece i’m writing is to give you a basic overview of my life. i was an average ordinary student in school. would miss a lot of recesses by 4th grade because i would social with my classmates during class when bored with a subject the teacher was trying to teach us. by middle school i had upped that to being a bit of a class clown and that carried me through high school. i never got suspended or expelled from school but i still acted up. got married 2 weeks after i turned 18. divorced by age 31. remarried again at 33 and left him 3 months after we married him in 2013. that covers the ordinary basic stuff. naturally there are unique stories that happened along the way and even now that i will try to fill in as i remember them. not sure if i can keep them in chronological order but good stories and bad ones are ones that people that know me say i should write down. 

so first unique story that comes to mind about my life. both of my parents were musicians but not famous or well known. dad was also a preacher. he didn’t paid like you imagine preachers do. we grew up on welfare. my mom was the youngest of 8 kids but she was a twin. her and her twin brother bobby were the last of my maternal grandparents 2 kids. in 1986 (i was not there when this happened and neither was my parents) my mom’s twin brother, bobby was shot and killed. now i have never gotten the full story of why. family back in eastern kentucky nearly 20 years later said that it was because he was physically assaulting my grandmother in the kitchen and my grandfather couldn’t take it anymore. the other story was that my grandfather and my mom’s twin brother were arguing over a can of beer. my grandfather was an alcoholic. us grandkids grew up knowing this about him but we loved him so much even if he seemed grumpy a lot. you grew to understand that under the grumpiness was a very loving man. either story that you choose to believe about why mom’s brother was shot and killed doesn’t change the fact that my own grandfather purposely shot him at point blank range in a fit of pent of anger over a wayward son. this set off a set of events with my mom. prior to this event i remember things about my mom and my dad (they divorced a year later in 1987) that are like just little puzzle pieces. I remember at my uncle bobby’s funeral (mom’s twin brother) that was the first time i  have a vivid memory of mom smoking a cigarette in the lounge area of the funeral home. hey it was 1986 so all the no smoking rules and laws we have now in the united states did not exist back then. i vividly remembering being so shocked to see my mama smoking a cigarette when i knew that was usually something i would see my dad doing. dad also would switch between skoal snuff and twisted type of chewing tobacco. to say my dad was a nicotine lover is not an embellishment. he’s 72 and still enjoys his nicotine.

 but it was around this time that mentally and emotionally i noticed my mom just at times just didn’t enjoy life much. she left my dad and chose to leave us with him instead of taking us with her. where she went when she left my dad i do not remember. I vaguely remember being with her at a women’s abuse shelter but can’t remember the details. it was at this time i remember she tried to commit suicide by taking to many pills of some kind. one afternoon i walked in from school to see my dad over her on the bed choking her out of anger that she was trying to commit suicide and her begging him to please kill her. i don't remember if i screamed or what but seeing me standing in the door way got my dad’s attention and he stormed out of the house to go call the ambulance for my mom. i sat stunned and scared by what I had just seen of my dad choking my mom and immediately took up post on my mom’s lap as we waited for dad to return and ambulance. i remember being so scared for my mom but also wondering how in the world could daddy be that mad that he would try to kill my mama! so he walked in and told my mom he had called the ambulance and she was going to go to the hospital. she verbally refused but did not make me get off her lap. my dad ordered me off her lap and for the first time in my 6 years on earth i told my dad NO!  the flash of anger i saw come across his face as he heard me refuse a direct order from him was scary to watch. now why he didn’t snatch me off my mom’s lap and spank me hard for disobeying his order i will never know. but i was determined that my body was gonna protect mama from daddy and the bad ambulance people. i had already decided that these strange people dad kept saying was coming was scary bad people like my dad was at this currently moment. so it caught me off guard that my dad was so angry at my mom for trying to kill herself and at me for defying his order that i get off her lap where i thought by me sitting on her lap i would be able to make the EMTs and paramedics not touch my mama. but dad was mad at both of us and he waited outside. when they arrived i noticed a familiar face. it was my 1st grade year best friend across the street’s dad was in the ambulance. i had forgotten he was paramedic. he was also a news paper photographer, a part time police officer and i think he worked part time security at the hospital too. so my dad in his anger let my best friend at the time’s dad come in the house to talk to me and explain things and get me off my mom’s lap so that they could attend to her. his name was ray austin. ray was a 6 and half feet talk black man but a very calm and soothing man to me at that time. all i know was ray was the only one i could and would listen to. they loaded mom up in the ambulance and i think went over to my best friend’s house for the evening. i don’t remember the details after that. later on i remember my dad taking us to the hospital were mom was at and helping her eat the hospital food they would give her. what i didn’t know til after i was a grown adult was that she spent 2 months in the psychiatric unit. i just remember being at best friend’s house, then my aunt wanda’s house (mom’s sister who is a year older than mom and red headed like me) and then my grandparents house and then finally home with daddy. which once i got over the shock of my dad choking my mom (that image has never left my mind even at 42 years old) with my daddy was where i wanted to be more than anything. i was a dadd’s girl. what i didn’t realize at that time was my dad suffered from depression as well but his didn’t get displayed in crying and taking pills to kill himself. his depression was anger. sometimes it was uncontrolled anger. but i still loved my daddy and would often just want to sit on his lap and be held when watching tv or eating. what i do remember is that my dad even with being newly separated and the primary parent of me and my brother he never complained about being stuck with us kid. he never begged family to babysit or treated us like he didn’t want us around. it would be years before i was able to see that he knew mama either couldn’t or wouldn’t show us the love that a child craves from parent and he tried really hard to do that for us. but he had his issues too. ok i will stop there and pick up on another blog entry again soon.

• Physically:

- This boy would want to touch you anywhere and everywhere and be around you all the time.

- He’d caress your face, stand behind you and rub your shoulders and arms, hug your waist or shoulders from behind, play with your hair, fidget with your bracelets or whatever accessories you’d have on, play with your hands, have his hand on the center of your back...

- Even if he saw an eyelash on your face he wouldn’t hesitate to get it for you instead of telling you about it.

- Anyway to touch you, he’d go for it.

- He’d like to kiss your nose or your forehead when he says goodbye to you.

- When you’re alone he’d like Eskimo kisses.

- He just basks in being in your presence.

- Whether you liked to receive / give physical affection or not, you always have to remember to be a little extra affectionate with him because he really enjoys it.

- He likes knowing you’re there and that you care. He does that for everyone else, so if you do it, he’d really appreciate it.

- He likes the lingering touches the best, like intertwining your fingers together, or when you play with his hair (even though sometimes he doesn’t want it to get messed up), or you rubbing his shoulders like he does to you.

We see this because of the way he always sees the bigger picture by constantly looking on the brighter side of things and by the way he writes poetry within his song lyrics, so he would treat your relationship the same way. He’d write you notes or make the band throw you a private concert or play an acoustic cover or original song just for you.

• He’d let you wear his chains or bracelets from time to time or you’d steal them.

• You’d like to play with the rings on his hand.

• You would probably get him some rings or chains to add to his collection.

• Getting a reaction out of you is his favorite thing.

• No matter how far into your relationship you are he’d still like to flirt in order to make your blush.

• If you were a writer / singer / musician he would ask you what you think of some lyrics he’s written or is thinking about writing down, but even if you weren’t, he would ask you anyways because he values your opinions and ideas.

• If you didn’t know how to play an instrument, he would want to teach you to play guitar. He just wants to share his passion.

• When he’s in your room he’s be so nosy and look through all your stuff, but honestly, when you were in his room (if this was 90s) you’d do the same (he’d have so many CDs and other weird interesting stuff.)

Dating Ghost!Luke:

• So you can see him!

• Maybe you’re Julie’s close friend or sibling.

• You’d really enjoy that you and Julie get to have such special friendships with all three of the guys.

• Perhaps you’d never had a sense of belonging like that, and now you had a group of people you could always rely on to be there for you and understand you.

• I think it would make you and Julie closer.

• Luke would obviously be a goner for you right when he saw your face, but since he just loves to be close to everyone you couldn’t tell.

• You’d probably think if he had a crush on anyone it was Julie because of how great they look when they sing together despite how sweetly or flirtatiously he would talk to you. 

• You’d just assume he was like that with everyone.

• Julie, Alex, and Reggie would see how much he liked you though.

• You and Julie would teach the guys about the internet, different innovations, etc.

• Luke’s way of getting to talk to you more, other than pestering you with questions about yourself, would definitely be asking you about how to do this and that online, or just to talk to you about how things have changed so you can put it into perspective for him.

• He’d really like listening to your voice. He would hang onto every word.

• And you really liked his voice too, both singing and speaking, so whatever questions he asked you, you would always forward them back to him. You liked how passionately he spoke about everything. You also, hung onto every word.

• If you couldn’t touch, despite knowing that there was obviously more than friendship going on between the two of you, you’d be reluctant to tell each other of your feelings.

• When the truth comes out however you decide to make it work.

• But if you could touch, Luke would of course be the happiest guy on Earth and never let go of you.

• The band remembers to give you guys alone time in the garage or in Julie’s / your room sometimes, so you can just speak freely with him.

• But you guys also take walks on the beach or the park while you pretend you're on the  phone or have your headphones in so you can have a change of scenery.

• You would be the glue of the group / band.

• If you weren’t a part of the band (like singing / playing an instrument specifically) it would probably be easiest for you to see their band spats in an unbiased and reasonable manner.

• You’d make sure to ask Alex how he’s doing because you know he’s always got something on his mind, but doesn’t always share unless asked.

• You’d make sure to always find something fun to do with Reggie from time to time, or just start up a conversation with him about mundane things.

• You see how he likes to watch Ray and Carlos all the time, so you wonder if maybe he just wants some kind of familial connection, and you decide that it’ll be you.

• I think he’d appreciate how you take the time to ask him questions and listen to his answers seriously, despite how he says things in such a humorous tone, and you’d appreciate how surprisingly observant he is (e.g. he noticed Ray was worried about Julie by how he had been stress eating all week. Reggie is a sweet boy who cares, guys.)

• You realize you both have hidden traits that no one gives you credit for except each other.

• Luke would like how you had a unique relationship with everyone and truly put in the effort to make sure each one is personalized between you and that person. It reminded him of himself— Always trying to give a little love to everyone — It would make him that much more fond of you.

• You’d settle arguments between the guys.

• Or maybe even little arguments between Julie and Luke. Although neither could stay mad at each other for long (honestly being “mad” at each other wouldn’t even be the word), but sometimes they took opposing sides to different situations like where to add a certain verse or about a poor decision Julie felt the guys made (like haunting Bobby or going to Caleb’s), so you’d be there to give an outside opinion or to calm the heated moments.

• He’d like to stare at you whenever he could. When you were in the garage talking to Julie or Flynn or if it’s 90s!Luke he’d do it in class or in the hallways. 

• Either Julie or Alex would say he’s a creep for staring but Luke would say he’s just admiring.

• Little did he know you did the same.

• And now, speaking of 90s Luke...

Dating Alive!Luke:

• Okay, so we’re in the 90s and he’s in high school.

• He either met you because you share a class together and he thought you were pretty (and you thought he was beautiful, of course) or you and Alex shared a class together and he befriended you.

• Let’s say it’s Alex: you guys would bond over the fact that presentations are stupid and only done to make people feel uncomfortable and ultimately humiliate themselves.

• When Alex didn’t have a class with Reggie and or Luke he’d feel lonely but if you were there, you could now be a person he could go to, so you two could be lonely together.

• Even if you guys didn’t have much in common the fact that you were easy to talk to, always decided to be partners with him, or help each other out in class gave him comfort, so maybe one day he’d ask you to sit with him at lunch or see a gig his band managed to get.

• You go (You can choose which, I’m making it a choose your own adventure for about a whole second. Enjoy.) and boom enter Luke and his sunshine eyes, pretty hair, GORGEOUS arms, a muscle tee, along with his classic vans and you’re like , WHOA, but you try to hide it.

• And Luke is like, WHOA, but he tries to hide it.

• And Alex is like, “Of course.”

• And Reggie is like, “Hi I’m Reggie. We’re Sunset Curve, tell you friends.”

• And you’re like, “But I don’t have (m)any friends.”

• And Alex is like, “That’s okay I only have three (3) friends and before that I had none!”

• And Luke is like, “I’ll be your friend 👀”

• And Reggie is like, “By the way he’s looking at you, I think he wants to be more than just ‘friends’ 😏😉”

• And Luke is like, “🤡”

• And Alex is like, “🤡”

• And Reggie is like, “🤠?”

• And you’re like, *internally SCREAMING*

• Here comes that mutual pining.

• Alex starts to bring you around more often which helps you to get closer to all three of them, but especially Luke, who will ask you a series of never ending questions about yourself.

• You think Luke is just really nice and that's why he's so friendly when you’re around, but in actuality he just wants to know all about you.

• Alex and Reggie would bother him about it when you’re not around.

• One day, after he just couldn’t take it anymore he’d finally ask you out, or just kisses you unexpectedly because Luke acts before he thinks sometimes.

• The rest is history.

• Anyway...

• He’s a sweetie and probably wouldn’t really talk crap about teachers, but I know he’s not into school either.

• That being said: he’d totally get you to skip one day or quite a few days if he gets you to agree saying “please, please, please,” or telling you that you can afford to miss because you’re so much smarter than him, or just giving you so many kisses you can’t think straight.

• Skipping activities would include:

- Finding some random coffeehouse for him and the band to play impromptu while you watch.

- Adventures in the park or woods: he’s find a grassy place and sing songs to you on his guitar or you’d do something silly like play tag because Luke is a child.

- Sit on the trunk of Alex or Reggie’s car (let's say one of them has one) and have a quick make out session or just talks out life (probably his parental issues) it depends on how he’s feeling that day.

- Or finally, you guys would explore around the school and find rooms you’d never been in or see what the back of the auditorium looked like for the first time. If you guys ever get caught he’d either tell you to hide or run or find some way to get you out of it. He would take full blame, never wanting to get you in trouble.

• Once again, being the romantic he is, he’d probably take you to your first concert, write you cards, come by your locker after every period, take you out on weekends or weekdays whenever he could.

• He’d try to be a gentleman in front of your parents, really wanting them to like him, and he’d try to respect your curfew if you had one, but sometimes he would like to be rebellious (e.g. when he tells Julie to sneak out the window for their first gig) and try to get you to sneak out, especially if it was for something really special he planned. Ex. a moonlight serenade. But again, sometimes this boy doesn’t think, so he’d probably just get you to come out so you could kiss, or talk, or talk and kiss.

• All around, you guys would just have a blast together because Luke’s mission is to bring joy to your life.

• He genuinely loves seeing people happy and if you two were in a relationship, your happiness would definitely be a top top top priority.

• He would burn you CDs.

• He’d love to listen to them with you because he just loves sharing music with you and he just wants to see your reactions right then and there. 

• He’s introduce you to new things and you would talk for hours about music you both liked or movies you loved.

• He’d like to hold your hand in the halls.

• Send you notes in class or even throw them at you or if you were sitting too far apart.

• He’d even tell someone to tell you he had something to say. Down the chain his call would go till the last person closest to you tells you that Luke is asking for you. You’d look and all he’d say is “hi” with the goofiest smile.

• You’d either have no choice but to smile back because of how infectious he is, or if you had enough willpower, you’d roll your eyes and look away. If the latter, he would try again and again till he got you to give in.

• He’d mimic or make faces when the teacher or a classmate said something stupid.

• He’s a little needy that way. He just wants your attention and affection.

• Again, he’d do anything to see you smile and equally as important, bothering you is the only joy he gets out of class whenever he’s not in a class with the guys.

• You’d proofread his essays or any writing that was for any type of English class because when he’s really feeling up to it, he actually puts in effort in his writing assignments.

• You tell him that he’s a good writer and that if the band thing doesn’t work out he could always become a music / poetry teacher.

• “Too bad the band thing is going to work out,” he’d assure you.

• You believed him, but you always just want to let him know he has far more talents than what he, or his teachers, for that matter give him credit for.

• Despite his major confidence in his musical abilities he feels like he falls short in other aspects, something you were surprised to learn about him, so you do your best to compliment him and encourage him.

• But especially in school since he already thinks of it in such low standards.

• When his parents fight with him about the band, you're his safe space. Sometimes he doesn’t like to tell Alex and Reggie about all the gritty details because they have family issues too, but he can always vent to you.

• You like hanging out in his room. His personality is written all over it. Band posters, movie posters, ideas for songs as well as song lyrics he loves taped up to the wall on scrap pieces of paper and sticky notes, it’s a little messy but it’s mostly just clothes and crumpled paper on the floor.

• Unfortunately, you don’t hang there too much because Luke doesn’t always like being around his parents.

• His parents like you though and enjoy when you’re around the house because it means Luke is actually around too.

• They know you encourage him at school and his mother specifically knows he needs that extra support and appreciates you for it.

• She’s told you that she wishes she could show Luke that she wants to give him that, but sometimes Luke gets too preoccupied with his music and has the notion that just because she is concerned about his career choice that she is totally against him.

• Speaking of that, despite how much Luke loves being your boyfriend and tries his best to show you how much he loves you, he’s not always perfect.

• Sometimes music and the band comes between you two as well.

• When he’s really driven on a song idea, whether it be working on the lyrics to a song, composing the music to it , rehearsing it with the band, etc., it will take all his attention.

• When he gets a fixation on something, he can be very single minded.

• All he’ll want to do is be with his thoughts and guitar or with the band that he forgets to check in with you.

• Once you tell him though, he will feel terrible about it. Not seeing how his passion can make him so blind at times.

• “I just get really into it, you know? I’m sorry! I can make it up to you.” His bottom lip would jut out and his eyes would drop dopily. He always looked like such a puppy, you could stay mad for long.

• “How are you going to prove you’re really sorry?” you’d ask knowing this wasn’t the first nor will it be the last time he gets “really into” his music.

• “I’m dropping everything today. It’s just you and me. Promise.” And he’d mean it.

• When Luke knows he’s at fault he will always try 110% to make it right. He doesn’t like it when he hurts people, especially you. He feels like he’s failed in a way.

• He’d show you new snippets of new songs he’s working on.

• You guys would talk endlessly about favorite bands and he would introduce you to ones you’d never heard before.

• You liked when he talked about his favorite musicians. Seeing someone talk passionately about something they loved was always beautiful to witness, but when Luke did it, it was next level.

• He’d literally buzz everywhere, talk super fast, and bounce around. He vibrates happiness and those are the moments where you knew for sure why he was so determined on his goals to make the band work. The love he has is so intense, so undeniable, so unbreakable. You hoped you could find something you loved like that one day. Other than him, of course.

• Oh, wait? Is that how you figure out you love him? For his passionate and brave spirit that did nothing but put a smile on your face all day, everyday? You couldn’t even compute the thought. It felt right, of course, but it was scary.

• You didn’t tell him. I think he’d say I love you first anyway and you’d happily say it back, finally releasing the beautiful realization you held inside for so long.

• He’d want you to go to every gig they got.

• “I can’t do it without you,” he’d say.

• Sometimes he knew you couldn’t though, because he and the band would only get slots in the middle of the night sometimes, or they’d do all-nighters around the city playing on the outsides of clubs just to get noticed.

• Sometimes they would get in trouble, or even ban from some places and he didn’t want you to be a part of that. He’d tell you that he wants you to get your sleep.

• But if it was the weekend, or the summer, or just a day you decided you have the time to be rebellious, you’d love to cheer them on, or maybe you would even be the getaway driver when workers would try to kick them out.

• You’d help Luke and the boys with their homework or school work a lot.

• Whether you were smart or an average student they’d think you were a genius and appreciate how you remind them of assignment deadlines from the classes you’d share. They only went to school to spend time together and outside of school was for music, so they’d probably fail without you.

• Luke would be the first to thank you every time.

• You would be there for him when he ran away. You’d tell him that maybe he should go back and talk to his parents or that maybe it would be best to at least finish high school, but he dismisses both as options immediately, saying that he knows what he wants. That school nor his parents are going to give it to him, so why bother.

• You support him and believe in his dream, but you still worry from time to time. You decide that it's his choice and that you love him, so you just make sure that he is eating, sleeping, and that you’re there for him if he needs someone to talk to or just someone to hug.

Now back to the general stuff:

• He’d give you a nickname. Personally, I think he’d try to shorten your name in some way that hopefully no one else calls you yet so he can feel special.

• Alex and Reggie would probably start calling you by that nickname sometimes too soon after that.

• As for usual nicknames, I think sometimes when he greets you he’d call you “beautiful”

•  “Hey beautiful, how you doin’?” Lets pretend that he watched the first season of Friends in ‘94 and then watched the rest on your laptop after he comes back and be obsessed like Charlie.

• He’d make your laugh a lot. Sometimes because he’s flirty or silly but other times it was because he could just be really dumb (in a sweet way, of course.)

• You would wonder why everyone would call Reggie the clueless one. It seemed like all the guys shared one braincell and Alex just hogged it most of the time.

• He’d love kissing. I don’t think he’d do full on make outs in the halls or in front of the band (not because he's shy though), but when you two were alone, in the garage or in each other's rooms he would be so down, there is no stopping him, and he’d try to make them last as long as he could.

• He would ask for good luck kisses before a show just to get you to touch him, as always.

• When you saw him shirtless for the first time your breath would be taken away. You knew he was probably toned because those sleeveless tees but you still couldn’t predict just how GORGEOUS and HOT he would look, whew.

• He’s probably get cocky for a second because of your speechless reaction.

• But that confidence would go right out the door whenever he saw you without a shirt, his eyes would be blown, totally star struck.

• He’d like to cuddle or rest his head on your lap, especially when he needs to relax from the stress he’s feeling due to his home life or from writing. You’d gently stroke his hair. It would soothe him.

• He’d also like it when you rest your head on his lap too. In those moments, he would take it as full permission to touch you and kiss you up, no complaints.

• Overall, Luke would just love you up and write you pretty songs forever and ever. Best boyfriend.

the pithy answer is projection! the unpithy answer is that out of 320 episodes over the span of 15 years, there is one (1) where his attraction comes off as genuine to me, and it took place fifteen years ago (cassie). i’m a lesbian, and when i was younger i had really genuine and meaningful friendships with men that i thought meant i was in love with them. they were very dear friends to me and i cared deeply about them, and they continue to be dear to me and people i care deeply about now that my head’s on straighter. so that’s that point. 

this is. going to be a long post so this is the preemptive warning to everyone who can’t read tumblr paragraphs to zip scroll.

lisa straight up reads as a lavender marriage to me. the focus for both lisa AND dean is him stepping in to be a father figure. their conversations about how much they care about each other center around how good he is with ben/how much he loves ben. there’s like, nothing where they’re smiling at each other and actually enjoying each other’s company. she’s a two night stand he’s seen 4 times in the last decade. she is dean putting on his brave face and keeping his promise. lisa’s post dean boyfriend matt is in one episode for about 3 minutes purely so he can die, but this is the scene.

so like. lisa is CAPABLE of interacting with a man she’s dating in a way that looks like they’re dating, versus. this.

so that’s that point. we’re at season six and we’ve already gone through every long term relationship with a woman dean’s been in. but let’s get really technical! let’s go through bad boys and after school special and amara to boot. 

in bad boys, robin is dean’s first real crush when he’s fifteen or so. first crush being when you’re 15 rather than in elementary or middle school? gay behavior (joke). let those among us who have not had a straight crush as a teen because they were the first person to be nice to us throw the first stone! and that’s what it boils down to for me. it’s the first time dean’s had ANY stability, and he relishes it. it would not surprise me if she’s his first real friend. she’s definitely his first real NORMAL friend. she asks him what HE likes, what HE wants to do with his life. and that’s totally new for dean! to have choices and to have his wants given consideration instead of just having expectation after expectation loaded onto him.

it does not surprise me that dean, who’s been taking a masterclass in repression and masculinity since the tender age of four, dates robin. it would not surprise me if he dated robin and was gay. of course he’s going to throw himself 100% into a relationship with a girl when he knows he’s at an age where boys are supposed to be skirt chasers, when he meets a girl and she’s NICE to him and KNOWS him like literally no one else does. all of this accompanied by the “i am a boy and have positive feelings for someone who’s a girl this MUST be romance this MUST be a crush” like. this is going to get into overshare territory for a moment i apologize but As A Lesbian when i was 15/16 i actively had crushes on girls and rational-ed them away as Girl Best Friends :) while telling everyone that the feelings i had for my boy best friends were crushes aksdkfkndf. repressed gay people are stupid and dean is MUCH more repressed than me aged 16. so. robin box ticked. 

after school special: jail for dabb jail for dabb for a thousand years i know. trust me i know. BUT. 17 year old dean who’s fully pulled on the leather jacket and womanizer persona, who doesn’t talk to anyone in his class and just hangs out in janitor closets making out with a girl who thinks his persona is hot. and when she tries to get close to him, to form an emotional connection, he panics and self sabotages. which. yes. peak straight man behavior. i’m not arguing that this little characterization bit is the pillar upon which gay dean rests, i’m saying if you’re inclined, you can nudge it into gay kid going “oh no this is too much responsibility i gotta get out of this” behavior. and i’m inclined!

amara: the amara stuff is so. hdnfdkf. it’s this primordial connection or whatever stronger than dean and amara both and yet dean’s still able to buck it a few times for [drumroll........] cas! + i don’t have any of the posts on hand but i DO agree with the whole vibe of. “i would fuck the embodiment of my destruction and horrors and failings because my self loathing is THAT strong”. also: gay af for the being of destruction with an immutable pull on you and towards you to say i will give you your greatest desire and then give you your mommy back and dip.

and then there’s the various one night stand stuff. i don’t have the comprehensive list on hand, but off the top of my head these are times when dean has sex scenes that are given huge focus:

when he comes back from hell and everyone’s gently asking if he’s fine and he’s like could a guy who wasn’t fine do THIS [tries to sleep with a bartender and or angel]. when bobby dies and dean’s hardcore mourning and hardcore drinking to the point where i think his drinking is acknowledged for one of a true handful of times in the series. just checked the transcript for that one. the morning after:

DEAN: Ugh.

SAM: You look like crap.

DEAN: Yeah, well, I feel worse than I look. I do recommend the Cobalt Room, by the way. Awesome night. Although I think I'm getting too old for this.

which. again. normal straight man commitmentphobe hitting his 30s and going hmmm.... perhaps real connections would be nice? but that doesn’t contradict gay dean at all, it slots in. also this is season 7. season 7 and he’s too old for this. top of my head i can think of two more similar instances: s11 baby when he groans and goes “mistakes were made”, s13 advanced thanatology when cas is dead and he’s FULL ON grieving so hard that sam takes him to a strip club. and again. he over does it. again he throws himself too hard to the coping vices and when he wakes up he’s tired and sore and has a headache. the other time he gets laid is endverse, which uh. is basically dean in 24/7 mourn drink sleep with someone mode. there are like... a handful of times he has sex For Fun, enough to count on one hand. the rest are all real easy to slap the label PERFORMANCE or COPING WITH MOURNING on.

obviously all of these points go either way - you could absolutely interpret them as legit attraction to women. you can interpret them as legit attraction to women while these instances are still coping/performance. but for me personally they all end up on the gay column instead of the bi column. um. end manifesto i think.

I think he's pretty intelligent too. He does stupid things - a lot of stupid things - but he has intelligent thoughts. Like, he's more of a guy you'd want to chat with over a beer than put in charge of anything important, but for sure you'd find the conversation stimulating.

Did I mention that he makes a lot of bad decisions? He makes a lot of very bad decisions.

He's argumentative. Idk if this is veering into headcanon territory although we do see him rant about stuff a few times. I imagine he gets very defensive about his life choices and doesn't like to admit his mistakes all that much.

Sunset Curve and the Magic Pants- Alex’s Summer

Continuation of my last post for this Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants AU with Sunset Curve. This bit is about Alex and where he’s spending his summer. Willie, of course, makes an appearance. Enjoy!

"Willie! Where are you, man?" Alex bellows throughout their shared cabin, "Those kids are eating me alive out there in Sharks in Minnows!"

Then all of the sudden, from the bathroom, Willie emerges, toweling his wet hair and brushing his teeth,

"In a minute, Hot Dog," Alex has somehow been able to pick up despite the toothbrush in the other guy’s mouth.

Restraining his typical annoyed groan at the nickname (1st night of camp, he almost choked on a hot dog. Willie and the kids have been ragging on him ever since), he leans against the doorway impatiently. 

If Alex had a choice, he wouldn’t be spending his last summer before college as a camp counselor at a Christian summer camp in Colorado.  Well, he wouldn’t have objected with working with kids. Kids were great, and the pay wasn’t half bad either. It’s a good environment and it’s fun, but every now and then he would be met with a reminder that this is his parents’ last ditch attempts to ‘fix’ him before letting him go off to college.  There are certain sayings and references to the Bible woven throughout what they do here, despite it being normal summer camp stuff, that just... rubs him the wrong way. Reminds him of his parents and what they want him to be.

But ha, jokes on them, if they think this would ‘straighten’ him out (literally) and they send him off to a camp where they reinforce hetereo-normativity by bunking him with another dude.  A very hot dude. 

Willie doesn’t seem like the type to end up as a counselor at a camp like this. He’s already said he’s not really religious and that he’s there mostly for a favor and he needs the money.  It doesn’t make him any less capable for the job and Alex finds that, despite how laidback and chill he is, he’s a good co-counselor and the kids love him. 

They’re not the only ones though... Alex is trying (and failing) to not crush on his co-counselor.  Which is hard since they spend every waking moment together and return to their shared cabin. And there would be... times... when Willie would just do things that would flag his attention (intentionally or unintentionally? Alex has no clue. Kills him either way though).  Like right now. 

Alex fights the urge to ogle at his slightly damp cabinmate a bit longer, preparing to hightail it out of the cabin to the sweet release of the cool summer breeze when his eyes land on something.

"Wait, are those... my pants?"

Willie spits out onto the sink and backtracks to the room. He looks down at his legs, confused. 

"Huh. I guess they are," he says, "Must have grabbed the wrong pair.”

The pants. The pants. The magic pair that Luke insists on them buying and sharing as they spend their summer away from each other. 

It’s his turn with the pants after Reggie’s. They just came in yesterday. And he’s been meaning to change into them after arts and crafts, but it looks like Willie got to them first. 

Okay, they must really be magic if they also fit Willie as well (and man do they fit-). 

It’s almost blasphemous. Having someone else who wasn’t the guys to wear these sacred pair of jeans. (But he has to admit that they look really good on Willie)

Willie picks up on his discomfort. 

“Oh, my bad. Do you need them back?" His hands fly down to the zipper-

"NO!" The outburst flew out of Alex’s mouth without restraint, startling both of them.

"I mean," he clears his throat, "you can wear them today. If you want? Just be...” He gestures at the pair, “careful with those.”

Willie doesn’t know about the pants. Or what they mean to Alex, but he smiles and reassures him that he wouldn’t be pulling his usual stunts today. 

“Thanks,” Alex says, grateful. And he does trust Willie not to wreck the pants. The guys would never forgive him if anything happened to them, “They, uh, really do need us back there right now..."

Willie nods, eyes roaming around Alex's tense form, which does not help relaxing him in the slightest.

"Okay...Just give me a few minutes and I'll be out. " he draws out, returning to the bathroom, "But hey-" he steps back out, "Thanks. For the pants."

"No problem,"

By some miracle, that sentence flows and he keeps his voice level, as if his hot cabinmate and co-counselor didn't just try to strip off in front of him a minute ago... ******* About a week later, Bobby gets the jeans in the mail along with Alex’s letter. 

Since that stupid camp doesn’t allow phones, the boys promised they would be trying to communicate with letters as much as possible. 

‘Bobs, 

Hope things are good back in L.A. Sucks to hear about what happened at Carrie’s party. But you’ll bounce back, Bobby. You always do.’

Bobby lets out a smile. Good to know that someone still has a back. Distance be damned. His boys are the best.

He continues to read the letter.  ‘Camp’s been great. The kids are little monsters but in a good way. And my co-counselor is pretty cool. We’re roommates and he’s a lot of fun to be around. A bit of a wild card. He reminds me of Luke Perry from Beverly Hills 90210. You know?  Anyways, miss you and everyone. And if you talk to Luke next, get him to spill more about this Julie he met.  Greetings from Colorado, 

Alex’ Bobby sets down the letter, trying to make sense of it. They usually have to. Read in between the lines. The camp might be screening his letters so they always have to be careful.

Now it’s weird that Alex mentions Luke Perry and the girl Luke’s now seriously crushing on while bumming around Washington. 

But man, does Alex love Luke Perry though. Would not stop going on about how cute he was on 90210. Like definitely his celebrity crush for sure, Bobby could recall. 

Wait. 

He rereads the letter again. The part where he likens his roommate to said celebrity crush. 

No way. 

Once he translates it perfectly, Bobby bursts out laughing and has half a mind to call up the Mercers and dunk on them for sending Alex to a Christian camp. Might have just put him on a fast track to a secret epic summer romance. They’re rooming together! Idiots! 

“Alex’s got a crush,” he sing-songs to himself amused, “Well, good luck with that, dude.”  He says this as he pulls on the pants, hoping that he’ll get some of that magic that’s definitely been rubbing off on Alex.

noah. my days... i can’t keep a straight face, because noah is so intense and grateful. he doesn’t know how to hold back and i think he prefers to stay sitting somewhere, preferably the couch. definitely puts your hair to the side to look at you, and likes holding your face at times. mostly thumb on your cheek and palm on your neck. he lets you go on your pace and knows how to appreciate different ways, but that’s when you hit him with “tell me what you like”. watch him lose his marbles. he never had that, so “thankful noah” will show up later. his favorite move is probably licking the tip while in the mouth, but he likes everything you do. soft moaning, mostly your name, but also how much he’s digging what you’re doing. definitely a lot of closing his eyes and tossing his head back, along with running his hands on his own hair.

Hello friend! So you've convinced me to watch Buzzfeed Unsolved but there is SO MUCH of it. Do you have any recommendations of where to start? I'd like to try out some ghosty ones, but I don't really know which they are. Plus, I'm a totally scaredy cat. Help?!

Oh this is so exciting!!! I'm thrilled to be able to recommend some eps, it's such a fun series and even if you're easily scared, it's pretty lighthearted and goofy, which prevents it from being as scary as it otherwise might. The sheer volume of content is definitely overwhelming but I've consulted with people who know more than me & they've agreed that these are some great places to start: Supernatural - 3 Horrifying Cases of Ghosts and Demons The very first time Ryan and Shane go ghosthunting together and it contains some iconic moments, an absolute must-watch. (warning about spiders in the 2nd case - it doesn't last very long but timestamps for those moments are 24:00 to 24:50, 25:25 to 25:32, and 25:50 to 25:56.) - The Haunted Halls of Waverly Hills Hospital If you're a believer in the paranormal (aka. Boogara), this episode has some intriguing moments that you could consider evidence of something otherworldly - but if you're a skeptic (aka. Shaniac), it's still worth watching for the totally creepy atmosphere of this place. Also, it's fun to see Ryan freaked out! - The Harrowing Hunt For Bigfoot Who doesn't love Bigfoot content? The boys try to track down the mysterious beast, which Shane actually believes in (Ryan is less convinced), so that's a fun twist on the normal skeptic vs. believer dynamic. - The Search for the Mysterious Mothman Another fun search for a famous cryptid, featuring the statue of Mothman where they gave him the juiciest ass. - The Ghosts and Demons of Bobby Mackey's If you've ever wondered where "Hey there demons, it's me, ya boi" comes from, this is the episode - and this is the moment if you just want to watch that. - London's Haunted Viaduct Tavern This one, as well as the two episodes after it, are from their visit to the U.K.! So you might enjoy seeing them be silly about non-American historical stuff. - The Demonic Bellaire House While I'm not sure what's actually up with this house (is it a demon? is it just bullshit?), there's a moment from this episode that is actually what finally convinced me to give Buzzfeed Unsolved a real try after I saw it in a video clip on Twitter. It's the spirit box "evidence" and it's terrific stuff. A GOOD EP. - The Unbelievable Horrors of the Old City Jail This is the most recent episode of Supernatural they've done since the pandemic put season 7 on hold* and it's probably one of my all-time favourites. They're incredibly goofy in it and Ryan genuinely becomes a bit unhinged because of how terrified he is. Also, some intriguing evidence! - The Murders That Haunted The Lizzie Borden House This one is arguably a bit of True Crime mixed in with Supernatural, so that's a plus, but it's also fun to see two grown men chanting a creepy children's rhyme to each other in a dark room. True Crime (I know you specifically said some ghosty ones but these are fun too) - The Strange Disappearance of D.B. Cooper This is a classic ep and is especially fun to rewatch given the recent Loki stuff with him as D.B. Cooper. It's very early in the series' run but they already have some great banter going on. - The Terrifying Axeman of New Orleans Despite some pretty gruesome content, this episode is a lot of fun and includes them wandering around in a remote location, which is always exciting for a True Crime ep! - The Eerie Case Of The Watcher I have to include this because it's the case they named their company after and it's an incredibly silly & fun episode (also no one was physically maimed in this case, so that's nice!). If you like these episodes, there are a ton of others I left off in the interest of keeping this relatively short, so please let me know if you want more recs! There are also various playlists you can use to go through the episodes, depending on whether or not you want to watch more True Crime with the Supernatural, and if you want to watch the Postmortems (where they answer viewers' questions after each episode and discuss other possible theories, and Shane eventually begins something called the Hot Daga which you may love or truly hate, depending on your tolerance for silliness and cartoon food stuffs).

*season 7 will be the last season of Unsolved Supernatural and Ryan has recently teased that he's really excited about some of the locations they'll be visiting, so of course I'm hyped - they're going to film this sometime over the next few months and it'll come out in the fall
