Everything was dark and then it wasn’t. He was standing in a wide open field, sun shining and blue skies, when he heard a tiny giggle to his left. Turning his head, Azriel saw a girl, who looked to be in her teens, with brown eyes and dark hair that was blowing in the wind as she walked through the grass, letting the blades tickle her hand. Behind her was the girl he loved so dearly but she was older, the corner of her eyes wrinkled and her hair was much lighter. When they reached a spot they deemed acceptable, Elain laid out a blanket and the two of them sat side by side staring up at the clouds, chatting idly. As he walked closer, he finally caught onto part of their conversation, the girl asking in a small voice, “Hey, Mom?”
“Yes sweetheart?”
The girl twisted something on her thumb, which he realized was the thumb ring he had in his draw at home, part of a matching trio where the other two belonged to Rhys and Cass. They all had little swirling patterns on them; however, the only difference would be the little gem each of them held. Rhys’ was purple, Cass had red and his own had blue.
“Do you miss Dad?” He was right there, they didn’t need to miss him, and she didn’t need to miss him. He shouted but they didn’t turn, didn’t move and so he moved directly in front of them but still, they didn’t acknowledge his presence. Elain’s eyes widened but only a fraction, turning and tucking a rogue curl behind the girl’s ear.
“Of course I miss him, I miss him more every day. But if he was here, he’d be so incredibly proud of you.” She wiped a tear from his daughter’s cheek and all he could do was scream at them. He was right there; there was nothing wrong so why wouldn’t they look at him?
He dropped to his knees on that blanket and reached for them but when his fingers made contact, he couldn’t feel anything and neither did they. Azriel was crying now, trying everything to get them to look, to listen, and to touch. Nothing. Elain started again her smile widening as she spoke, “Did I ever tell you abou-”
She was cut off as everything began to fade and his family disappeared before him, he moved, to do what he didn’t know but just as he reached for his loves, his vision became black once more.
His eyes opened blearily to bright lights above his head and the blurry features of faces while there was a loud beeping sound in his ears. It felt as though he was moving and he realised he was in a vehicle of some sort. He tried to speak, to move his arms but he was held in place by a pair of hands. “Easy there, we thought we lost you for a minute there, but you’re going to be alright.” Something was settled over his face and his eyes began to feel heavy again. “That’s it, we’ve got you now, and you’re okay.”
Just before he let the soothing words send him into that calm place, he managed to breathe the most important word through dry lips.
“Elain.”
oOoOo
Elain couldn’t breathe as she, Feyre and Nesta moved as quickly as they could through the hospital, her nails digging into the palms of her hands as she tried to hold herself together. The frantic call they’d had only thirty minutes ago had made her heart drop to the bottom of her stomach.
They had all settled in the basement that the boys had converted, content to binge watch a new comedy series, Feyre with a bowl of popcorn and Nesta fussing to make sure Elain was settled when the sound of ‘I’m sexy and I know it’ started ringing through the room. She was confused until Feyre gave a long suffering sigh. “Sorry, Rhys set it as his new ringtone the other day and I forgot to change it back. Hold on.” Her sister got up and walked across the room, realising she’d left her phone on the table and jested as she answered the call;
“You left me barely twenty minutes ago, miss me already?” Suddenly her face became serious and worried which put Elain on edge.
“Rhys, slow down and tell me again.” Slowly, all of the colour drained from her face and her eyes lined with silver as she brought a hand up to her mouth. She nodded at something her boyfriend said but remembered he couldn’t see her and responded with, “Yes, we’ll come.”
And then Elain watched as she hung up, hands shaking and blinked over at her and Nesta before she explained whatever the phone call was about. “H-he said there w-was an accident,” a few tears dropped from her face as she blinked at them, “they were hit by a truck and the car... Rhys said to come as quickly as we could.”
She didn’t even remember how they got here but right now she didn’t care, she just had to find him. The three of them were about to turn down a corner when a nurse tried to stop them, but before she could even get a word out, there was a shout from down the corridor. “Nesta!”
Three pairs of eyes turned to see Rhys running towards them, and he looked absolutely awful, which caused Elain to feel a twist in her gut. He had a large, but not extremely deep, cut through his left eyebrow and ran slightly down his cheek, which would no doubt scar. He had bruises along his jaw and he was smeared with blood, while he moved with a slight limp. Feyre let out a choked sob as she moved towards him, crashing into his chest. He winced slightly but held onto her as he pleaded with Nesta, “Please you have to hurry. I can’t calm him down, neither can my mother but he’s going to hurt himself more if he doesn’t stop.”
Nesta moved like lightning in the direction he had just come from, Rhys hot on her heels. Feyre dropped her pace to match Elain as she herself couldn’t quite move fast enough. When they reached where they were supposed to be, her heart cracked at the sight. Cassian was screaming and crying, outright trying to destroy the place. His arm was cradled to his chest in some kind of sling and there was a rip in his jeans, exposing a large gash on his thigh. Elysia was crying from the sidelines, in pain at the fact she could not help her son and there were doctors yelling at him to sit down, to let them treat him but he wouldn’t listen. He stopped and turned around, eyes wide with fear when Nesta’s soft voice pierced through his breakdown.
“My love, please stop.”
They boy Elain had always seen laughing and joking, just overall happy at all times of the day, was gone. In that moment he was a broken shell of what he was and dropped to his knees in front of the girl he loved as he sobbed and sobbed, each one sending a tremor through his body as he pushed out garbled words. “The fucking idiot...stupid martyr...turned the car...”
Her sister kept herself composed as she too dropped to her knees in front of Cass, wrapping her arms around his neck and rocking him from side to side as she whispered soothing words into his ear. Elain let her eyes move away from the scene to roam around the room, catching sight of Rhys with Feyre’s face tucked into his chest as he cried silently. She quickly passed over all the mess, seeing the doctors slowly move towards the broken boy on the floor as if he was a timid deer. Through all her scanning, she didn’t see the hazel eyes she longed to see, she didn’t feel scarred yet gentle hands take a hold of her waist like they did in the shower this morning. When her eyes landed on Elysia, she couldn’t stop the hitch in her breath as she asked the question that she dreaded the answer to, “Where is he, Lys?”
The older woman walked over to her, taking her hands into her own and caressing the backs of them gently with her thumbs. “The boys say that when he saw the truck, Az turned the car so that he would take the impact,” a choked sound tore through Elain’s chest at the words, “he was trapped inside the car when help arrived and they had to cut him out. He has internal bleeding and he hit his head pretty hard and he’s in surgery right now but the doctors said...”
She didn’t like the way Lys trailed off, but realising this was difficult to do, she urged her on in soft tones. “The doctors said what, Lys? Please tell me.”
“Part of his left leg was severely crushed Elain, they said they were going to have to amputate below the knee just before they took him in.”
She couldn’t stop herself then as she turned and heaved all of the contents in her stomach onto the floor. It wasn’t because Lys said they were amputating, though it did scare her, it was because he was alive. When she hadn’t seen him there and was a witness to his brother’s breakdown, she had feared the worst possible scenario. But everything was fine and Azriel was alive. Their little girl would get to know her daddy and he her. She was manoeuvred to sit in a chair, her head between her knees as someone rubbed soothing circles on her back. Elain faintly heard people talking but she pushed all thoughts from her head, letting everything fade into the background except for one little word that meant so much.
Alive, alive, alive.
 oOoOo
Rhys had agreed to go home with Feyre, to rest for a while and then come back with everything they would need. Once the adrenaline died out, Cass had been overloaded with pain and taken to be sorted out. His arm was actually found to be broken and the gash on his thigh needed stitches, Nesta staying by his side the whole time. He would forever be grateful to his girls’ sister for doing what he could not. Elain stayed at the hospital with his mother, seeming to be in no condition to even move from her chair after she had thrown up all over the floor.
When they got home, he let Feyre lead him up to his room and once they were inside, she slowly began to undress him. He tried to protest, his only injury was the cut on his face and he could easily change himself but she silenced him with a glare. When she had him down to just his boxers, she put his clothes into the hamper before guiding him to the bed and pushing him to lie down. Satisfied she stripped and stood before him in nothing but a pair of lace panties before throwing on his shirt from the night before and climbing into the bed beside him, tangling their legs together and lifting one hand to his injured face. The doctors had put a few stitches in the deepest part and put little strips of that weird white tape stuff onto it. He knew that things were tense and sensitive but he couldn’t help joking, “It’s going to leave a pretty hot scar huh?”
Wrong thing to do.
Her eyes filled with tears as she held his face in her hand and her bottom lip trembled, so he brought his hand up to press his thumb into it. “None of that Feyre, I’m sorry. I just wanted you to smile again.” She nodded before burying her face into his chest, throwing a leg over his hip and wrapping her arms around him. Her voice was muffled against his skin when she spoke after a few minutes.
“What happened?”
He let out a small sigh as he explained from the exact moment they had left the girls that morning, right up to where his eyes had opened in the overturned car. “Cass managed to get his seatbelt off but didn’t brace himself and all of his weight dropped onto his arm. He kicked one of the back doors open before helping me out when he realised I was conscious. We tried to get to Azriel but it was no use and someone came running over to say they had called for help.”
Feyre began shaking in his arms a little and he squeezed tighter as he gathered the courage to tell her the most important part, something that he hadn’t explained to anyone but Cassian. “There’s more,” a nod for him to go on, “while we were waiting for the ambulance and keeping an eye on Az, I turned to look at the truck. As I did, there was a familiar logo on the side of it as the driver stumbled out.”
“Who was it?”
Deep breaths, Rhys. She’ll be hurt but you have to be the one to tell her.
“It was your father, baby.” Feyre gasped and pushed herself away from him and out of his reach. When he put his hand out towards her she batted it away as the tears came in full force. He knew she was hurt, but he pushed forward. “Mother sent a text this morning after she left saying that he wasn’t where we left him the day before and that car was still in the drive but not his work truck. He must have seen us on the road and made an impulse decision, because when he stumbled out onto the road, he tipped his head back and laughed and disappeared before I could move.”
Her trembling stopped and she scooted back over to him, kissing him soundly on the lips with a mumbled “I’m sorry.”
“It wasn’t you driving that truck, you shouldn’t be apologising. I tried talking to the officers when we were at the scene but they were too worried about getting us to the hospital. They said they would come to the hospital later to get our stories when we were cleared to do so.”
She touched the cut on his face once more before their gazes met, her eyes fierce and full of fire. “You tell them every single thing, leave nothing out. I want him to pay for it. All of you could have died; Azriel could have died without even getting to meet his fucking kid.”
All Rhys could do was nod. He’d had the same thoughts when the paramedics were trying to keep his brother from crashing when he was pulled from the car.
He felt like he’d just closed his eyes when his phone went off as he received a text. Gently reaching his arm over the girl fast asleep next to him, he grabbed his phone from the small table and he saw it was now mid afternoon. They had been sleeping for about four hours now. Unlocking his phone he saw that the text was from Nesta and he almost cried with joy at the words he read.
He’s awake.

Maybe, Just Maybe
Someone To Stay Ch. 5
Spencer x Fem reader
Content/Trigger warnings: a little bit of body image issues
Tumblr media
Spencer POV:
It's been a few days since I hung out with Y/N. I'm truly glad she was the one I got to go with. I feel like we might have a lot in common, and she's easy to be around. For a little while, I almost forgot about everything that happened...about her. The next day the thoughts came sinking slowly back in, but they don't feel as debilitating as they used to. Maybe Derek was right, getting out, being around people, it may not be easy for me but it may be what's best. Maybe I should try to get out of my comfort zone a little. I want to get better, I do. But being social, well it's never been my strong suit, and to try to do it now, when I feel so emotionally vulnerable, it's particularly difficult.
Other than the dinner at Rossi's, my friends haven't been inviting me out as much as they used to. I'm pretty sure they got tired of the inevitable rejection. I want them to see that I'm trying, that I want to do better, to get better. Maybe if I reach out first...
I grab my phone to call JJ. She's like a sister to me, and she's been the best at trying to understand what I've been going through.
"Hey, Spence!" She sounds surprised but glad to hear from me.
"Hey, I was uhh.. well I was just wondering..." my words trail off as I find myself suddenly losing confidence in my endeavor.
"Yeah, what's up?" Her voice has a calming effect on me.
"Well...I was wondering if the team had any plans this weekend? To hang out or...I don't know."
"Actually we don't. But we should! I think I have an idea. There's something I've been wanting us all to do. There's a Lakehouse up for rent, and I think it would be fun if we all went up for a weekend. What do you think?"
I'm not very into outdoor activities, but the idea of reading on a porch by the lake sounds incredibly calming and therapeutic. It also sounds like a good time for me to start hanging out with the team again.
"You know, that actually sounds perfect." I smile at the thought of the much needed weekend getaway.
"Perfect! I'll text the group! Thanks for giving me the nudge to set this up, Spence. It'll be fun."
I hang up and shortly after I hear the familiar ding from the group message chat.
BAU Baddies😎
JJ💖: Hey guys! Who would be down for renting a Lakehouse this next weekend?
DM🍫⚡️: Hell yeah! @ahotchner you know what that means?? Jet Skis baby!! 😜🤙🏻
AB🌹: How fun! Count me in.
DR🇮🇹: I'll cook! I have a new recipe we can try out. I think you'll all love it👌🏻
PG🦄👸🏼: @jjereau @ablake We HAVE to go swimsuit shopping first, ladies! This is a non-negotiable.
AH: Sounds fun, are we bringing the kids this time?
JJ💖: Actually, Will is staying home and he'll be watching Henry. Jack can spend the weekend there, if you'd like. @ahotchner
AH: Thanks. I think I'll take you up on that offer.
DM🍫⚡️: @sreid you better be coming pretty boy, just bring a couple dozen books and you'll be set.
SR♟: Yep, already packing.
I smile to myself, thinking of how for once, I'm the reason we have plans. But if anyone else knew that, I'd never hear the end of it. I knew JJ was being intentional when she didn't mention that to the group. I hear another group chat alert and glance at my phone.
BAU Baddies😎
JJ💖: Hey, is it alright if I invite Y/N again?
AB🌹: Oh I thought that was a given! You definitely need to! She fits in with us so well.
PG🦄👸🏼: You better! Or I won't let you hear the end of it 😂
JJ💖: Great! Thanks you guys, it means a lot that you've been so welcoming to her.
Y/N will be there. Maybe I'll have a friend who will hang back and read with me. It would be nice to not be the only one. Then I remember what she said about moving here because she loves the outdoors. That means she'll probably be hanging out with Derek, JJ, and whoever else. Oh well. At least maybe I'll get to talk to her more. I decide to text her. I never really text anyone, but she doesn't know that.
Y/N
Hey, it's Spencer. I heard JJ
wanted to invite you to the lake.
Do you think you'll go?
Yeah! I just got off the phone
with her. I can't wait! Are you
going?
Surprisingly...yes. I'll be bringing
some books along to pass the time
but it'll be nice to have a change
of scenery.
Books??? We'll see about that😉
I love a good book as much as the
next bibliophile...but this is a
weekend for things you CANT
do at home. Anyways, would you
want to carpool? We can take turns
driving if one of us gets tired.
Passenger is in control of snacks
and music! 🎶🍿
Haha, ok deal. We'll work out
the details later. And...thanks :)
Anytime Spencer, can't wait! 👍🏻
I lean back into the couch and smile. Even if we spend the weekend doing different things, at least we'll get to talk on the way there. I feel like she could become a good friend, but I don't want to make any assumptions...I don't do this often.
Y/N POV:
You run around your room, packing for a trip that's days away. You're too excited, it can't wait. Just as you're trying to decide on a swimsuit you get a text from Penelope, saying that the girls are going swimsuit shopping this evening. They want you to come. You can't hide the smile growing on your face. How long has it been since you've been on a girls shopping trip? You can't even remember. It's spontaneous, so you assume no one will be too dressed up. You throw on a black sleeveless t shirt dress and some strappy sandals. Easy enough to get in and out of for trying on clothes. After brushing through your hair and applying some quick, light makeup, you're ready to go. The girls had decided to meet at the mall, for the most options.
You meet up with Aunt JJ, Penelope, and Alex outside of a nice department store.
"I figured we could start here. It has the most options and it's at the end of the mall. So we can work our way down, until we all find something."
Aunt JJ tends to take charge. She's such a mom, but that's part of what you love about her. Always prepared, caring for everyone. Alex found a cute one piece with a wrap to wear as a skirt. Penelope picked out a cute pink and purple polka-dotted swim dress. JJ ended up with a sports-bra fitting bikini top and some athletic looking swim shorts. Still such a typical mom. The only one left is you. You haven't tried on very many things, and what you did try on, never made it out of the dressing room.
"Y/N, why don't you let us pick you out some things to try on, and this time, you have to at least let us see. Deal?" Penelope gives you a look of encouragement.
"Sure" you shrug. "I'll try anything at this point."
Alex stays with you while JJ and Penny go to pick out some swimsuits for you. They return with a few handfuls of options. You try on the first option, picked out by Penny. It's a cute two piece, frilly and pink. You come out and are greeted with a few giggles.
"As cute as this is, I think it's more your style than mine, Penny" you let out a small laugh.
"Oh I know. I just wanted to see you in it! I couldn't pull it off in a thousand years!" She laughs.
"Alright alright, let's keep going." JJ ushers me back into the dressing room.
I come back out in a black two piece. It doesn't show too much skin to make me uncomfortable, but it's really flattering on my curves.
I hear a chorus of "ooooo" and one "yes queen!" that I'm sure came from Penny.
"Really, you guys? It's not too...ya know."
JJ shakes her head at me. "No definitely not. Girl, you're single, you're in your twenties, your body hasn't had a child yet. If you got it, flaunt it. If not now, then when?"
The girls all nod in agreement. You blush. You didn't know you could look this good in a swimsuit. You usually avoided bikinis. You found it hard to feel comfortable in your own skin. Whenever you tried to dress sexy, you just ended up feeling awkward and uncomfortable. It helps to have some friends to encourage you. You look at yourself in the mirror one last time. Okay, even you had to admit, you look hot.
The four of you end the day with lunch, chatting about your plans for the lake.
JJ turns to you. "Y/N, I almost forgot, do you need a ride down there? I can pick you up, if you'd like."
"Ohh uh, no actually. I'm carpooling with Spencer." I give her a shy smile. I know what this looks like. "We're just friends" I quickly interject.
"That's great" she says, giving me her warm smile. "Spence really needs a friend right now. And I bet you do too." There's understanding in her eyes. You're grateful that she didn't try to make more out of it. Aunt JJ knows you, though. She knows you make guy friends much more easily. That aside, you were still so grateful for the day with the girls. They were all so genuine, and easy to get along with. They didn't make you feel like an outsider intruding on their day.
Later that evening, you lay in bed as you try to quiet your mind. Your head is swimming with too many thoughts to fall asleep: anxieties about this weekend, but also excitement and ideas of what you'll do. Not to mention, more time to get to know Spencer better. You wonder what JJ meant when she said Spencer really needed a friend right now. Maybe, just maybe, you'd break through his walls a little more this weekend.
A/N: sorry this one is short-ish. It's kind of a transition chapter so there's not as much content! Building a base, building friendships, hang with me, we're getting there 😁💖✌🏻

Supernatural Rewatch 2x15
(queued 2021/02/15)
I like how 2x15 starts with a flash back to all the pranks. Lolol good times
WAIT IS IT THE FIRST LOKI EPISODE
GABRIEL WOOOOOOTTT
AWW YAAY
Creepy professor is creepy
Bleh. Bleh. Gross gross. Hehe "ghost face" Karma Creep.
AAAAA ITS GABRIEL!!!!. Sp8 omg. Baby face
@adhdeancas: Hell YES. and i'm always surprised by how early he's there too, sp8 really survived a while
I totally forgot which season he was in at first, I thought it was three. Season two baby
Also ya, doesn't Sp8 direct at one point too?
@adhdeancas: and yeah! sp8's a great director in my opinion, sp8 directed quite a few (including 15x18)
OOOO shit so he knows. He KNOWS
Wow Dean lolol
Ohhhh shit that's right, Loki messed with Sam's computer and Dean's car (So I’m just gonna call him Loki here because that’s what we know him as for now)
Now they're just shitting on each other lolol
Bobby!!
Question is, did Loki create the legend, or he just used it to create the ghost girl? (I don’t think this question got explicitly answered, but we do see him go through shitty newspapers later on, so he probably heard about the legend and just went from there)
Purple nurples omg
Also the mics are weird in this one? It's like they had to do a lot of post for the sounds? It's very exaggerated with Dean. Like when he was eating on the bed and just now with the shots. The mouth sounds are like... Upped. (Even outside of the “Sam storytelling.” But then it goes back to semi-normal after)
Omg that's right they're retelling the story to Bobby, but they're each exaggerating the other brother. So Dean looks like he's hooking up with a "no good girl". Then it just pauses and he's like "wait a minute, it wasn't like that"
God I love this episode, so happy this show can still surprise me even if I watched it so often. Totally forgot about the way they told the story to Bobby
@adhdeancas: right??? this ep's storytelling was great
Mmmmm... They should have used the same girl... When Dean retells the story, he says it's a classy chick. But it's an entirely different girl then the "trashy chick". It should have been the same girl just dressed and acted differently. Cause now it's like... Some girls are "trashy" and others are "classy"
@adhdeancas:oh you're absolutely right about trash v. classy girl
Like in my super secret good supernatural remake, it would be the same actress lol
Lolol Jensen is a treasure in this one omg
Classy girl "my god, you are attractive". Dean, all smooth and serious "thank you, but there's no time for that. You gotta tell me... About this urban legend" serious smolder
When in fact, we all know if someone actual came out and said that to him he'd be all nervous and awkward and trying not to look it
@adhdeancas: lmao. oh absofuckinglutely
So fucking funny omg
JARED
OMG
So funny I cannot. Acting super pissy like a Mean Girl.
@adhdeancas: just thinking of jensen and jared best buds doing this ep together it's even funnier
(me) Acting all bitchy cause that's how Dean sees him right now XDDD
@adhdeancas: also bc I think this was the time when they were living together so they were probably just Like this
(me) Like they must have had so much fun
@adhdeancas: my god yeah it's So Over The Top
Oh god
Like Sam literally just starts saying "blah blah blah, blah blah, blah BLAH blah blah”
Like omfg. There must have been so many takes
I'm pausing every two minutes cause I'm just crying laughing
GABRIEL
I love how he was just there the whole time. Ooooo that's how he knew to bust their stuff
Dean with his mouth full lololol cause it's Sam telling
Lol alien guy
Holy shit. This went on TV
"they PROBBED me. Again, and again, and again etc. But that's not even the worst". dean "how can it get any worse" nervous chuckle "some alien made you his bitch, hehe"
Like what is that. The microagressions un this show
@adhdeancas: Oh my god. THE MICROAGRESSIONS
The micro expressions too jesus Jensen
@adhdeancas: “OH GOD I MADE A JOKE ABOUT AN ALIEN BUTT PROBING YOU DEAN DID I MAKE YOU AFRAID OF BUTT STUFF?” Jensen is a god
LITERALLY that
Almost like "shit I know what butt feels like, but again and again and again? Yikes. But oh shit, don't show that you know, make a joke make a joke"
17:30 ish
Seriously if you have it at the ready go see it, I need a second opinion
The "worst part" was the SLOW DANCING. Wtf is this show
Slow dancing is worst then literal rape omg.
Like on the surface I think it's supposed to be funny but seriously???
This has like... So many layers of wrong, I did not study the right field to unpack all of that
Ok wait I'll try
@adhdeancas: Also I agree supernatural did it to say the funny haha being cringe/girly is worst than violence in classic Kripke misogyny but if you look a layer deeper you could see the logic of an abuser doing something tender and nice like dancing was more disturbing and damaging than when I knew they were doing violence to me (Oh see I did not read this response the first time, I was too busy try to unpact the rest, but this is a valid second layer that I did not think about)
The idea that for someone Manly and Macho, affection and intimacy is a worst fate then literal rape. Like 1) it makes me question, like, is that how some men actually view it?? Cause someone wrote that!! It came from someones brain! Which brings me to 2) the fact that it was played as a joke? 3) Dean's face at the slow dancing.... Wasn't of disgust? Like there was a moment of longing in there? (Damn those Jacting Joices) and then it seems he remembers the encounter as a whole and sneers and shivers.
Like IDEFK
@adhdeancas: Jesus Christ I am too deep in layers. I ALWAYS THOUGHT I WOULD BE A GOOD DANCER
WHAT IS THAT QUOTE. Idk that quote
@adhdeancas: IT IS A QUOTE FROM SEASON 15. DEAN
FUCK. Whyyyyy
I'm making myself cry again, he just wanted to retire and have a simple life and slow dance while cooking in the kitchen. FUCKING FUCK
@adhdeancas. I knowwwww. But it’s FINE. HE’S DANCING WITH HIS HUSBAND TOMORROW (It was the wedding day :DDD )
SHUT UP OMG
WHATEVER I'm back at it or imma spiral
@adhdeancas: Lol. yeah go right back to the good times
Lolol I love how now we can tell who's telling the story by who is acting exaggerating
Sam being overtly sensitive while interrogating lolol
I like how Bobby is already figuring out that there's something wrong with the two of them
@adhdeancas: YEP bobby is Always on top of things
Omg alligator in the sewers
Oh noooo the impala

Harry the Helper
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Blurb about Harry, your boyfriend, helping in your classroom.
Word Count: 3k words of pure fluff
Pairing: Harry x Reader
here i am tagging you as promised ;) @stylesonly
*
It was most definitely a Monday. They were pushing your buttons. They weren’t listening to you. You’re sure that their baskets full of Easter candy were to blame for that. Stations were a disaster - the malleable wax sticks were destroyed by the time the third group got to that table. A page from the new book of the day in the reading corner was ripped. The different colors of play dough at the red table were all mixed together. Your Monday morning with your 23 first graders was chaotic, and luckily almost over. Lunch couldn’t come soon enough, and then recess. You hope they’ll get rid of some of their sugar-crazed energy outside on the playground.
You had just finished wiping down the last table, having put it off to finish up a lesson for today. You were glad that nobody would know that wax sticks and play dough were smeared all over the red and blue tables twenty minutes ago. Tossing the last wipe into the garbage, you collapse onto the chair at your desk. You love your first graders, but sometimes they can give you a run for your money, being a second-year teacher and all. The first day back at school after a holiday is always worse. Don’t even bring up Christmas or Spring Break.
Creeeeeak.
Turning your head, you look to find the culprit of the noise. The craziness of the morning melts away when you watch Harry walk into your classroom.
You still can’t get over the sight - your wonderful boyfriend in your very own classroom. It’s something you’ve been dreaming of for years, the combination of your two favorite things.
“Heeey, why tha long face, love? Ruff mornin’?” he questions as he crosses the room.
Nodding, you push out your bottom lip and wait for him to react. His initial smile at seeing you grows to crease his cheeks with dimples. “‘m sorry, love. I hope sum lunch will fix that,” he proposes.
“I think so,” you respond with a small smile. He nods his head towards one of the tables. You drag the only two adult chairs over to the yellow table.
“What happened dis mornin’?” Harry questions, setting down a brown paper bag. The smells coming from it remind you of your grumbling stomach.
“I don’t know, I blame it on the Easter candy. They wouldn’t listen, they were misbehaving, they were wrecking things, and screaming. Oh my god, the volume is the worst. I mean, your friend is two steps away from you, so why are you yelling?” you groan through gritted teeth, sitting down next to him. With a huff, you cross your legs, smoothing down your floral dress that falls to your knees.
He giggles as he settles in his seat next to you, knee to knee. Pulling up the black fabric of his fitted slacks, he gets comfortable. “Go ‘head, ‘s soup an’ sandwiches,” he mumbles, nodding towards the bag with a folded over lip.
You thank him with a smile. Reaching for the bag, you look back at him. You’re unsure if you should watch him roll up the sleeves of his button-down, or eat. It’s hard to resist the handsome sight of his musician fingers maneuvering the striped white-and-black fabric.
“What?” he asks you when he catches you watching him.
“N-nothing, you’re just cute.”
“Careful there, love, ya can’t say dat kinda stuff ‘round tha kids,” he teases with a wink.
“I know, that’s why I’m getting it all out right now,” you quip as you hand him a sandwich. His face melts into a laugh while unwrapping the white paper. “You dirty li’l thing, you.”
Shrugging your shoulders, you take a bite of your food. He sets a covered paper bowl of soup in front of you. The light catches something on his striped button-down. Looking over, you notice the royal blue visit sticker. It brings a smile to your face seeing how neatly he tried to write his name for the kids to read.
“Okay, so think of it dis way - what was tha best part of tha mornin’? Like a part where sumthin’ funny ‘appened, or one of ‘em finally understood somethin’?” Harry asks, picking up a piece of cheese that fell from his sandwich.
With a nostalgic smile, you think after eating more of your sandwich. Its contents and creamy dressing melts in your mouth. You tell him, warming at the laugh that leaves his lips. You go back and forth telling each other about your mornings while eating your lunch. There’s the occasional sound of kids in the hallway, going to and from lunch or classes. But Harry left your door cracked as you sit at the table. One that looks especially tiny compared to him. Mid-morning sunlight streams in through the window, catching pictures on your walls. The rest of your lunch is like this, and soon you find yourself feeling better with him there.
“Thanks for the lunch, it was great,” you say, crumpling what’s left to throw in the paper bag. He mumbles a ‘welcome’ while stretching after sitting in that chair. Walking over to him, he smiles up at you. Bending down, you peck a kiss to his cherry lips.
Rubbing his arm, you tell him you’ll be right back, taking the bag with you to toss. You say hi to colleagues and students in the hall on your way to the bathroom. A few little girls talk around the sinks, smiling at each other before scurrying off. You look at yourself in the mirror, fixing your hair quickly before you leave. The sounds of voices carry down the hall, and you recognize a few of them at first. Your students call out your name and wave at you. You return the waves as they smile at you from their lockers.
Turning into your classroom, you find somebody’s turned on the light. Harry stands by the window on the opposite wall where your teacher’s chair is. He’s flipping through the book he chose to read to them today, a favorite from when he was a kid. You wonder sometimes if he enjoys volunteering in your classroom more than the students enjoy it. Then again, you’d be lying if you left out part of the enjoyment for yourself is getting to be a kid again.
“Hi, Mr. Harry!” somebody exclaims from behind you. You turn just in time to watch Lucy run over to him, blonde pigtails dancing.
“Hiya, Luce. How was yer lunch, love?” Harry responds with a bright smile. She wraps her arms around his middle and he bends down to hug her back at her height.
“It was good! I had spaghetti and oranges, and um what else,” she says, scratching her head while she thinks. You spot the tell-tale sign of spaghetti dotting her purple t-shirt. “Oh and cookies! I can’t believe I forgot those.”
“Ooo really? Those sound good! What kinda cookies were they?” Harry asks her, devoting his entire attention to Lucy. That’s one thing you love about him, whether it’s you or a student of yours, he pays all of his attention to that person.
You don’t catch what kind of cookies they were, because Oscar asks for help with tying his shoe. The rest of your students trickle in slowly from recess, pink cheeks adorning their faces from the spring afternoon.
“There you go, Oscar,” you say, standing up and helping him up as well. Turning around, the volume of the classroom has risen. You hear another student call out Harry’s name, or a variation of it.
The first day he came to volunteer in your classroom at the beginning of the school year, you told them to call him Mr. Styles. But over time, he by habit offered his first name. Sometimes it’s Mr. Styles, or just Harry, or Mr. Harry, as Lucy called him. He answers to any of them, it seems. It’s more than adorable.
Ten or so students have surrounded Harry where he sits on the green table by your chair. A grin plasters his face as he talks animatedly with one of the students. More smiles paint their faces, and soon you hear laughs from something he said. A few students get tickled, and you guess he made the joke about the tickle spider again. Soon, you hear more little yelps of surprise before giggles. As much as you’d love to keep watching, you know that you need to resume class. You do one last check of the hallway to look for stragglers before closing the door. Once you’ve counted everybody, which is hard due to them all moving around, you turn off the lights.
“Ooooo, spooky!” Harry moans like a ghost, causing a roar of laughter.
“Okay, boys and girls, what does turning off the lights mean?” you ask your class.
“To freeze!” they all answer in different volumes and at different times.
“Yes, it does. Thank you for freezing. Now, as you can see, Mr. Styles is back with us today to help for the afternoon. Mr. Styles is going to read to you a book that was his favorite when he was your age. Can you all please stop what you’re doing, clean up anything, and join him on the reading rug?” you instruct, turning the lights back on once you’re finished talking. When the room lights up again, they return to their movements.
It only takes a few minutes for them to collect themselves before finding a seat on the reading rug. You let him take the reins from there. He asks everybody how their morning was before showing the book to them. As you grab a stack of worksheets from your desk, you watch in awe as he tells them why he loves this book. A smile pinches your cheeks as you listen to his excited voice and the reactions of your students. Sitting at a table by the door, with a red pen in hand, you begin to correct the first worksheet. The end of Harry’s story fills your ears. It’s one he told you just last night, but you enjoy hearing it for a second time.
After making a note on the worksheet, you look up and find Harry sitting in your chair. He’s holding the book at the top of it so all of your students can see, reading the words loud and slow. After saying the last word, he moves the book slowly to show the first page to the entire class. You catch his eye and he sends a smile your way. You return it before watching him read the next page. His creativity comes through quickly in his sound effects and different voices for the characters. Shaking your head, you return to assessing your students’ work as Harry reads the story, even to you.
The rest of the school day was much better, thanks to Harry. Your students seem to behave better when he’s around. Many of them just adore him, and you knew it was surely mutual. Sometimes, you had a wild thought, thinking that maybe he should’ve been a teacher after all.
You’re especially glad to have him there when you have language arts in the afternoon. The kids are excited to show him their new skill. As you spell a new word at the smartboard, they clap with every letter. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the light in Harry’s smile as he watches them. Although a little girl named Norah was stuck to him like glue just moments before, he’s gone to help little Max whose pencil broke.
“Need help passin’ those out?” Harry asks, appearing at your side a few minutes later.
“That’d be great, thanks,” you reply, handing him the plastic bowls of scrabble tiles.
After passing out the bowls with Harry’s help, you instruct the students to spell the words from the board with the tiles. When you tell them that Harry can check their work if they raise their hand, their faces light up. Something warms inside of you as you observe him making his rounds. He gives thumbs up, rubs on the back, high fives, and fist bumps when they have it right. For those who had trouble, your adoration for him grows when he kneels at their level to help them. Once he makes his way over to Norah, the little curly redhead ropes him back in. You move on to the next page of words to spell with them, giggling under your breath at the sight. Harry finally breaks free from Norah’s grasp around his leg to help with the next round of words. You realized one of the first times he volunteered last year, that it makes you love him more to see how much your students love him. And how he so effortlessly returns their love.
The rest of the day goes by quickly. Harry was in his element when you read a chapter from the current classroom book, about a scene in the jungle. The students used maracas to make the noises in the story - snakes, waterfalls, rain, and more. The smile on his face was beaming all throughout the short lesson, as he loves watching them use the maracas. It’s to no surprise to you, seeing that he bought them for your class at the beginning of the school year. It was a day the whole class remembers, even you. He came in one day as a surprise with them, and may have made you cry tears of joy.
He especially enjoyed helping with art today, loving helping the students with their creations. You knew because he’s recounted before how happy it makes him to see their excitement to show him their finished work.
After you’ve given your last goodbye hug of the day, you walk back into your classroom. To your surprise, Harry’s began to hang up the sunflowers your students made. The lesson was to create a sunflower, like Van Gogh’s, out of dry pasta shapes of different colors. The students quite enjoyed it, and by this time, it was luck that they were all done drying.
“Oh thank you! Here, let me help,” you tell him, crossing the room over to him.
“No, ‘s okay, love. I got it. You jus’ clean up an’ do what ya need t’ finish up,” he replies, shooting you a smile.
You rub his back before walking away with a ‘thank you.’ You’re dying to thank him with a kiss and to wrap your arms around him from behind. But you know by now that students are bound to come back in, having forgotten something. A water bottle. A book. A sweatshirt. You name it.
“God, these sunflowas are so cute. I love tha idea, babe,” Harry coos, the smile in his voice clear as day.
“Thanks, I think they enjoyed making them,” you tell him, picking up the tub of cleaning wipes.
“Oh ‘m sure they did. It seems they love anythin’ havin’ t’ do with usin’ school glue,” he laughs. Nodding, your laugh soon follows his. “And they loved yer video ‘bout Van Gogh. Ya did a great job on dat by tha way.”
“Thank you, it was a lot of fun to make,” you thank him, dropping a wipe on each table. Returning to your desk, you turn on some music to listen to as you clean up.
“Norah’s really got it out for you,” you laugh.
“Oh god, I know. She’s bloody adorable. Makes me wanna have one o’ me own. I jus’ hope it’d be half as cute as her,” Harry recounts. The revelation catches you by surprise. Absent of words, you watch him hold an artwork to the wall before taping it down.
“Um yeah,” you say, swallowing. You move on to the next table and scrub the surface with the wipe. You can’t help his words dancing in your mind. “1st graders are pretty cute.”
“Yeah, they sure are. Tha kindergarteners are even cuter. I dunno why ya didn’ wanna teach that grade.”
“Oh, I don’t know. It’s a little intimidating, and I guess it worked out that this was the position open at the time,” you reply, seeing his head of quiffed curls nod.
“Would ya wanna teach yer own kids, love? Like have ‘em in yer class?” he asks, his words stilling your movements once again.
You sigh with a nervous smile before picking up another new wipe. “Uh, I’m not sure. I think some teachers here have done that, but it depends on the situation. I mean, if it works best for the parent and their child. I think it would be fun, but I’d have to learn, you know, how to be just their teacher during school. That would be weird, I’d imagine, but for the best,” you tell him, your words slowly coming together.
“That makes sense, but I bet ya’d get tha hang of it fast. It’d prolly jus’ be weird fer tha first few weeks,” Harry comments. The sound of ripping tape follows his answer.
Once all 6 tables are gleaming from their cleaning, you move to the reading corner. Returning books to their correct baskets on the shelf, you sing along to the song ‘Dancing In The Moonlight’ with Harry. It brings a smile to your lips to hear his harmonizing.
“They sure are gettin’ good with those maracas, ya know,” he tells you, the pride beaming in his voice.
“I know, I’m quite impressed, too. Hey get this, we planned to do that today. They wanted to show you good they’re getting with them,” you return, looking over your shoulder at him. He does the same and you share a smile, but his is a little larger.
With the books put away and the artworks hanging up, Harry helps you clean up the last few things. He stacks the chairs on top of the tables, returns a few things to the closet, and he stacks the bean bag chairs in the reading corner. After a few thank yous and grabbing your stuff, you shut off the light and close the door.
Walking down the hall with Harry, he laces his fingers with yours. He says with a smirk in his voice, “Maybe we should have a few little kiddies of our own, love.”

Sound Out
Chapter 8: Aria Di Sorbetto
Hado woke up to a text from Jiro. She was asking if Hado wanted to see a new movie that had come out recently.
Jiro: Yeah there’s this new comedy movie we’ve been wanting to see
Hado: We?
Jiro: Ochako, Asui, Midoriya, and Shoji
Hado: Who’s Shoji?
Jiro: You know pro hero tentacole?
Hado: THAT’S HIM?! HELL YEAH I’D LOVE TO MEET ANOTHER PRO HERO
Jiro: Alright lay off the caps please. I’ll meet you at the movie around 4pm
Hado put away her phone and decided to train a bit before she would have to get ready to leave. She managed to get some quirk training in as well as strength training. She took a shower to clean up a bit. She dug through her duffle bag looking for something cute to wear out to the movies. She unfortunately didn’t pack any of her cute casual clothes when she left home 3 weeks ago. She opened up her wallet and did some mental math. Because the cottage she had been living in was stocked, she hadn’t spent any money recently. She made the bold decision to go out and buy a new outfit to treat herself. She had been working so hard recently that she told herself she deserved it. The movie theater she would be meeting them at was in the shopping district anyway.
Hado arrived in the shopping district looking for a nice shop to get a new outfit from. She settled on a AC Quarter’s because the clothes were moderately priced and wouldn’t break the bank. She double checked the time to make sure she had enough time to try the clothes on and leave. She had about an hour and a half before the set meeting time with Jiro.
Browsing through the clothes she decided she would buy herself a dress. She didn’t have very many so, what the hell, why not? She sorted through a lot of different styles, almost always turning down something with a floral pattern on it. Hado had nothing against flowers, they were just too busy of a design on the cloth. “Too short…. too long….too formal….too….risqué” She thought sorting through all of the dresses. She stopped at a cute blue dress that was a little bit past knee-length. It had a cinched waist, a squared off neckline, and cute little buttons going down the middle. The best part of it was that it had thin wavy lines on it that reminded her of her hero costume. She found the dress in her size and went to check out. She looked down at her feet on the way to the counter and realized she was wearing the same sneakers she had worn for almost 5 years now. They looked very beaten up. “maybe I should get a new pair of shoes too…”
Hado refused to wear heals. They sucked to walk in and they sucked to sing in. She looked at the variety of flats they had instead. She really liked the way the Tod’s shoes looked. Tod brand shoes were normally a little too pricey for her but she had the money to spare and purchase a pair of black ones.
On her way up to the counter she spotted a cute black choker and grabbed it boldly. Yeah, sure, chokers hadn’t been in style in a while, but she liked them and thought it would look cute with her dress. The cashier rang her up and gave her her total. “Is it like date night or something?” The woman behind the counter asked. “Oh no. I’m going to a movie with some friends. I just want to look cute for me and me along” Hado confidently responded. “Wish I had that same boldness” The lady replied. “Oh but you could! I bet you would look great in purple! Find a nice purple blouse, throw on some casual jeans and maybe some heels and you’ve got it made!” Hado threw out. She wasn’t sure where this advice was coming from, but the lady at the counter seemed to take it to heart. She smiled at Hado and thanked her. Hado waved back to the cashier as she walked out of the store. Hey, being a hero didn’t always mean catching villains or rescuing people.
Hado changed in a nearby bathroom and put her old clothes in the shopping bag she was given. She made her way to the movie theater. She had managed to arrive 5 minutes early surprisingly. She sat down on a bench right outside waiting for her friends. “You’re here too?” She heard a familiar voice from behind. She turned around to see Bakugo in casual clothing. “Oh yeah um Jiro invited me out to this movie. I think it’s going to be real stupid so I’m looking forward to it” Hado said. “Yeah, whatever” Bakugo responded.
About 2 minutes later, the others began to arrive. Jiro walked up with Ochako, Tsu, Midoriya, and the person Hado assumed was Shoji. He looked even cooler in person! Behind them she saw Ashido, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Sero. Ashido casually greeted Jiro. “Oh what a coincidence! We’re all here at the same time! Are you guys going to see the same movie too?” She asked innocently. Jiro mentioned the movie they were seeing, and it matched up. The whole group of pro heroes entered the theater.
“Well this is fucking weird”  Hado thought to herself. She was very suspicious of Ashido who she had learned had a penchant for causing a stir. It wasn’t ever harmful trouble; it was just a little exhausting. The groups of pro heroes chatted with each other as they looked for seats in the theater. Before they could pick Bakugo marched his way up all the way to the top. He glared at everyone, almost daring them to sit near him. They were used to this by now so they followed him up, but instead of sitting on his row, they sat in the row in front of him. They managed to all get there before Hado had a chance to make it up the stairs. She looked and noticed that most of the seats were already taken. She sighed and made her way all the way up to the top and sat by Bakugo. Bakugo looked over at her, noticing her exhausted look.
“Hey if you don’t want to sit next to me, there’s plenty of other chairs here” he snarled.
Hado laughed in response which made a few of the pro heroes turn their heads, surprised. “Please I think I can handle sitting by you. Besides, who else am I going to annoy all move with my color commentary” Hado teased. Bakugo shot back a smirk. The few that had looked back were so shocked they didn’t realize they were staring. The only one who didn’t bother looking back was Midoriya.
“Hey mind your own business you damn extras” Bakugo snapped and they all immediately turned their head back to the screen and continued their conversations. Hado snickered in response. “Will that ever get old?” She asked aloud. “I hope not” Bakugo replied.
Everything was going according to plan. Midoriya relaxed in his chair, a feeling of relief filling his body. He hoped this wasn’t too obvious of a set-up, but he knew his best friend would never have taken the initiative to ask Hado out. Midoriya remembered worrying about his friend and how he would even manage to make this happen. Luckily, he knew some of the smoothest people in town. Calling Mina, Denki, and Eijirou was a great idea. They had all brainstormed some ways of making this happen, throwing out the ideas that Bakugo would never go for, which was most of them. They all agreed that they had to trick him into a date because he was too much of an idiot to really act on those feelings. Hell the only person he really fully opened up to was Midoriya and he still didn’t mention how he felt about Hado to him. Midoriya knew though. Midoriya at least knew what a crush felt like.
The lights went down, and the previews started. “Oh shit I forgot to buy the popcorn!” Kaminari said loudly and jumped out of his seat. “Get a big one for us to share” Mina shouted to him as he left the theater. He gave a nod of understanding before disappearing out of view. “Idiot” Bakugo said under his breath. He looked over at Hado suppressing a laugh. “He just wants to make the movie experience a little more fun. It just feels a little more complete with popcorn you know?” She explained. “If you wanted some goddamn popcorn all you had to do was ask” Bakugo shot back and stood up to leave his seat. Hado looked shocked at Bakugo as he stomped out of the theater. He was still surprising her even after all the time they had been spending together. A warm smile found its place onto her face.
“Ooooo how are the love birds doing?” Ashido teased, looking back at Hado. Hado was thankful the lights had gone out so Ashido couldn’t see how red her face got. “Shut up. It’s not like that. This is just how Bakugo is” Hado replied. “I can’t remember the last time Bakugo got me popcorn at a movie” Kirishima stated. “Oh, you mean that time that never happened?” Sero added. The pro heroes started giggling. A few other people who were in the theater turned around and shushed them. “Oh come on it’s just the previews, don’t be so uptight” Hado replied. One of the people who had turned around started glaring at her. “Ugh I promise you won’t hear them again okay?” Hado said in an attempt to make peace. The person turned back around with a huff. “Not sure how you’re going to do that. We happen to be a very noisy bunch” Ashido said loudly. Luckily Hado was expecting it and stopped the soundwaves from reaching the people in front of them. Midoriya was the one to laugh this time. “She’s a sound hero Ashido. And she’s very good at what she does. That’s probably why Bakugo has taken a liking to her” Midoriya said turning around to smile at Hado. Her face turned beet red again. “There’s no way he’s interested in me as more than just like…. a training partner, or like a pro hero to work with. Yeah I’m just basically a coworker to him” Hado rambled in her head, making sense of everything the others were implying. Kaminari came back with a big bucket of popcorn and took his place. “What’d I miss?” He whispered to Jiro. “Just us picking on Hado” She responded. “Aww man I miss out on all the fun” he said upset but pushed a handful of popcorn into his mouth.
Bakugo came back with a relatively normal sized bag of popcorn, stomping the whole way back up to his seat. “I better not have missed anything good loser” He said without taking his eyes off of the screen. “I thought you weren’t interested in a movie like this” Hado threw right back at him. “I’m not. I’m just here to tear down this shitty movie. I don’t want to miss a good chance to fucking annihilate whoever this dumb director is” Bakugo answered. Hado shrugged and faced the screen while every once in a while, grabbing some popcorn. “Thank you” she whispered to Bakugo as the movie started
Hado didn’t get to fully enjoy the movie because she was so busy trying to keep her friends’ soundwaves from reaching the other people in the theater. That was incredibly hard to do considering other soundwaves were bouncing around. She did manage to keep Bakugo’s voice and her voice away from everyone in the theater. They shredded that movie, taking cracks at all of the cheesy lines and terribly designed sets.
The credits began to roll and most everyone started to get up and leave. “Hey I’ve got some paperwork I forgot to finish up” Midoriya spoke up shooting out of his seat. “Let me know if we can do this again sometime” he said and shot out of the room before anyone could even blink. “Yeah I have some work still left for me at my agency. Ochako, would you mind helping out?” Tsu said as the two left the theater. Slowly each of the other heroes managed to find something they had to go do and left Hado and Bakugo alone in the theater. “Don’t tell me you have something else you have to do too” Hado sighed, sounding upset. “I already finished up all of my hero work unlike those losers” Bakugo replied. Hado smiled. “Hey what do you like to do for fun that doesn’t deal with hero work?” She asked curious. She had only ever seen Bakugo do hero work and everything that’s related to hero work.
“I’ll show you. Keep up nerd”
The two of them ended up at batting cages near the outskirts of the shopping district. They were nice batting cages too. Each booth was given a ton of room both to move and for the ball to fly through. “These batting cages were made specifically with quirks in mind” Bakugo explained slipping on a pair of gloves to help with the grip on the bat. “This is where I go on days when it’s raining and the training ground gets soaked” He continued. Hado looked at him very intensely, watching his every move. She watched him get ready for the machine to throw the pitches. He had set the frequency at which the machine shoots the ball higher than normal. Balls started flying out about every second and Bakugo was able to cool hit every single one of them. He wasn’t just strong, he was quick and strong, able to pull back fast enough again to put even more power in each new swing. How could someone make baseball look so goddamn cool.
“I know I’m awesome, but you can pick your jaw up off the floor you nerd” Bakugo’s voice brought her out of her thoughts. Hado shook her head. He started to put up the gloves and bat. “Are you done already?” Hado asked. He had only spent about 5 minutes hitting the baseballs back across the way. “No, I’m not done dumbass. A bat has its limitations” Bakugo replies. Hado put two and two together. “You’re going to use your quirk to propel it” Hado stated. Bakugo didn’t even reply. He just rolled his shoulders and focused. The balls came flying out at an even higher rate but each one was met by a very precisely placed explosion. It was incredible to watch. Not only did he hit every single ball, but he also sent them flying so fast and so far away.
Hado noticed sweat starting to glisten on Bakugo’s forehead. She couldn’t speak because she was so impressed by the display of prowess. These are skills she knew he had but it was different seeing those skills being used on something else. When they sparred, she never really had time to think about how much accuracy he had in his movements. She was always kept on her toes making sure she didn’t get hit. “If you don’t stop staring, I’ll start to think you have a crush on me” Bakugo said uncharacteristically. She turned away and blushed a light shade of pink. Something about it made her feel uneasy. “Is he making fun of me? I know I’m not up to his standards, but does he really have to tease me about that” Hado grappled with her inner monologue.
Bakugo must have notice something was wrong because he looked at Hado confused. “You look like you’re gonna’ vomit. You need to go home?” He asked. Hado didn’t like the feelings she was grappling with, but she also still wanted to spend more time with Bakugo. It was selfish of her, but when was the last time she got to enjoy herself so much? Hado shook off the awful feeling of nausea in her stomach. “No no I’m fine!” She told Bakugo. “Hey since you used your quirk on the ball, can I give it a try?” She changed the subject. “Yeah go ahead but you’re not going to break my record or anything” He teased.
Hado lowered the timing of how often the balls were thrown. She had to concentrate really hard. She had to figure out how strong to make the soundwaves to at least make the ball have backwards motion, then she had to figure out how powerful she could make the soundwaves to see how far and fast she could repel the balls. The first ball shot out. She calculated where it was headed and amplified a test soundwave. She made the ball stop in midair and drop to the ground. “Alright now I know the minimum output I need to send the ball backwards”. The next ball came flying out and this time her soundwave pushed the ball backwards, but it didn’t fly very far or very fast. The 3rd ball flew farther, faster. Each time the ball went a little bit farther and a little bit faster. By the last one, she had been shooting them back as far and as fast as Bakugo had with the bat. She felt slightly accomplished because Bakugo’s hits with the bat were still way over what a normal human could do.
“Not bad. You’ve still got some got some work to do but you’ve shown a lot of improvement over a short amount of time” Bakugo praised. It made Hado feel warm and happy. The compliment made her want to work even harder just to hear Bakugo say something nice about her again. Then she had a thought. There was something she could do that he most likely couldn’t.
“Hey if we’re done here, I have another place I’d like to go. You got to show off here so it’s my turn to show you what I can really do”
“Oh?” Bakugo said, raising one eyebrow. He had no idea where they were going to go, but he’d be lying to himself if he said he wasn’t a least a little bit excited to see what Hado meant.
The two of them ended up at a bar that did Karaoke every night of the week. He sighed heavily. Of course, it was singing. She’s a goddamn sound hero. Singing wasn’t quite his speed, but he would go along with it because…. well because it was Hado. She seemed so excited too. Seeing her smile made him feel like nothing else mattered in the world, as long as he could see that smile. They took a seat at the bar and Hado immediately asked for a shot of whiskey. “Eh? What are you doing dumbass?” Bakugo asked. “Taking one shot gives me just a little more courage to sing sincerely” She said giving him a wink. That was surprising. She normally isn’t this bold. Was she flirting with him? Bakugo was kind of confused. “Did you want anything? I’m paying” She offered. “I’m not much of a drinker” Bakugo replied and asked for a glass of water. She shrugged and walked off to check out the songs on the Karaoke machine. She seemed to find a song she liked and grabbed the microphone ready to sing on the stage.
Things were pretty slow in the bar so it almost felt like a little private performance for him. He threw that thought out into the garbage. He didn’t deserve things like that. He stared intently at Hado as she started to sing. She surprisingly picked an alternative rock song. Bakugo took her for more a pop girl.
“Please don’t mind what I’m trying to say ‘cause I,
I’m being honest when I tell you that you,
You’re part of the reasons I’m set on the rest of my life
Being a part of you
And tell me what you think about
Being open
About being honest with yourself
‘Cause things will never be the sa-aame”
Her voice rang out beautifully. Her eyes were lighting up. She was looking straight at Bakugo with those bright happy eyes. It was so…. Enchanting. Bakugo wondered if maybe she had two quirks considering she had told him that her mother sang like an angel. Hado looked like she was having so much fun even though there were maybe a total of 3 people watching her. It felt like she was only singing for Bakugo. He felt his face heat up ever so slightly, thinking about the words of the song. Surely, they didn’t mean anything. It might have just been one of her favorite songs.
She finished the song but asked the owner if she could keep going considering how slow business was. The owner smiled happily and encouraged her to keep going. He’s probably heard all types of voices, most of them being drunk and not well tuned. Bakugo bet that Hado’s voice was like a breath of fresh air for this guy. And he would have to agree.
She picked a slow song this time with a slightly country twang. Bakugo wasn’t the biggest fan of country but he would give it a try because…. Well, again it was Hado singing it.
“Dear God the only thing I ask of you is
To hold her when I'm not around
When I'm much too far away
We all need that person who can be true to you
But I left her when I found her
And now I wish I'd stayed
'Cause I'm lonely and I'm tired
I'm missing you again oh no
Once again”
The slight tinge of sadness struck a chord in Bakugo. She honestly looked like she was going to cry. He felt the emotions of the song through her voice and her expression. Then something even more amazing happened. Another voice layered on top of hers to create a harmony. She was using her quirk to create her own harmonies. Knowing what Bakugo knew about her quirk, that would take a lot of concentration and control to do something like that. She had already thrown back 3 shots so some of her concentration had to be off.
As Bakugo was stuck in his thoughts, people started to trickle in from outside. They seemed to hear Hado singing and were drawn in. Hado finished up her song and looked around nervously. The owner encouraged her to sing one more song because no one else had signed up yet. Bakugo figured they would probably want to throw back a few drinks before getting up there to sing. It was called liquid courage for a reason.
Hado picked one more song to sing for the now growing crowd. As she began her song Bakugo overheard the conversation between two guys near him. “Oh man her voice is awesome. And she’s pretty cute too. Think she’s taken?”. Something inside of Bakugo threatened to snap. The conversation made his blood boil. “Fucking jerks” he said under his breath. Hado finished up her song and was about to walk off the stage to give someone else a chance. The two men Bakugo heard earlier were talking again. “Oh, dude there she goes. I’m going to see if I can get her number” one guy said and gave his drink to his buddy.
Hado quickly made her way to Bakugo who was grinding his teeth to keep himself from physically hurting the man who spoke earlier. Before she could make it all the way back to her seat, the man who wanted her number tapped her on the shoulder. Bakugo felt like he was going to explode. “Hey, you have an incredible singing voice” The guy complimented her. “Oh thanks… I get it from my mom” She shyly replied. Bakugo could tell she was uncomfortable. He arms were folded in front of her and her eyes were focused on the floor. “Well your mom has one hell of a daughter. Would you mind if I-” the man stopped mid-sentence seeing Bakugo walk up behind Hado and put his arm around her waist. “Mind if you what” Bakugo growled. “Oh uh… um… nothing nevermind. Just wanted to say you were great… um have a good night” he said nervously as he quickly shuffled his way back over to his friend. Hado sighed, relieved. She looked up to Bakugo. She then looked down at his hand still around her waist. Bakugo noticed her staring at his hand and he suddenly let go feeling….self-concious?
“Hey, thank you for that. I have trouble politely telling people to fuck off. Not sure why” Hado admitted. Bakugo had a small thought form in the back of his mind. “What if she’s just hanging out with me because she doesn’t know how to tell me to fuck off?”.
“Hey earth to Bakugo. Let’s get out of here. There’s too many people” Hado said. Bakugo snapped back to reality and walked out of the bar with her, giving those men one last hard glare.
“Was there anything else you wanted to do tonight?” Hado asked sweetly. Bakugo just shrugged his shoulders. “Maybe it’s time for us to just head home” He suggested bitterly. He looked back at Hado and she looked so upset. A pang of guilt hit him right in the chest. Did she still really want to spend more time with someone like him?
“I…. I was really enjoying out time together. We’ve never hung out outside of hero work or training. I haven’t had this much fun with anyone else ever” She bravely admitted. Any doubt he had before quickly left his mind after her confession. “Well…. It’s still getting late. If you want…. I could let you crash at my place” he quietly offered. Hado’s face lit up. There was that smile again, and it felt like all was right with the world again.
The two made it back to Bakugo’s place. He unlocked the door and let her in. It’s a pretty normal looking place. He did have a wall where he hung up articles of him being praised as a pro hero. They sat down on the couch in the front room and talked for hours. They talked to each other about villain busts, and old high school stories. They talked about each other’s goals and dreams. They learned about their favorite colors and music and weather. Bakugo looked at the clock on the wall. “It’s getting pretty late. We should probably rest up. You can sleep in my bed and I’ll take the couch” Bakugo offered. Thinking about Hado sleeping in his bed made him embarrassed but he wasn’t sure why.
“Oh no I can sleep on the couch. I think I’d feel just a little weird sleeping in your bed. No offense to you! Your wonderful and I like being around you and stuff. I just think I’d be more comfortable on the couch” Hado admitted. A small part of Bakugo felt rejected, but he pushed that feeling aside and shrugged. He stood up and started to walk off to his bedroom. “Just let me know if you need anything” he said not looking back. “Oh, hey just one thing!” Hado called. He turned around and she planted a kiss directly on his cheek. His face got hot and his heart thumped hard in his chest. He wasn’t moving, just standing completely still in the middle of the room.
“Oh god did I break you? I’m sorry. Maybe I shouldn’t have-” Hado was cut off mid-sentence. Bakugo had quickly grabbed her to pull her close and put his lips on hers. His heart thumped even more loudly in his chest. Every ounce of passion he had been feeling was poured into that kiss. He broke the kiss first and looked at Hado’s blushing face. He smirked realizing that he had caused her to blush like this. She wasn’t moving. “Hey earth to sound girl” Bakugo mocked. She let out a small giggle.
“There’s more where that came from, so you better be careful” Bakugo managed to both tease and threaten. He walked back off to his bedroom. Hado couldn’t believe what just happened, but it was incredible, and she felt like she was on cloud nine. She tucked herself in for the night on the couch. She wondered about what tomorrow would hold.

I have fallen into the Sprinkles Cult by @corndog-patrol and was going to send an ask about it, but then this happened instead. I don’t know how this happened, I don’t even know if it’s in the Villain!Mic AU or the canon universe or what.
Maybe this is set in all the AUs, in all the many different multiverses both hero and villain, civilian or not, Quirked or Quirkless.
ALL HAIL SPRINKLES
The first time Hizashi thought something might be off was when he came home to find a pentagram drawn on the floor in what might be blood.
Now, Hizashi lived in a pretty bad neighborhood so it wasn’t too weird that someone might break into his apartment and draw the symbol of a satanic ritual. Actually, this wasn’t even the first time this exact thing happened (which was a weird story for another day).
Unlike last time though, the people who broke in hadn’t ransacked his place to steal stuff. Also, the lingering smell of vanilla-scented candles pervaded the area, indicating they’d actually been lit this time, with a touch of rotten eggs. It confused him because when he checked his fridge he didn’t even have any eggs. Confused, he went to the remains of the candles sitting at the ends of each point of the pentagram.
“Do you think these things can go bad?” Hizashi asked Sprinkles while scratching his head. The lovely soft ginger-brown cat mewed, blinking her big, sparkly eyes with an innocence that gave him no answers but still filled him with warmth and reassurance. Aww, how could he ever feel sad when he had Sprinkles around? Thank goodness the people who broke in hadn’t hurt her!
With that thought he decided to rekey his locks just to be safe. Who knows what satanic cults would do to a sweet cat like Sprinkles? On his way to the store he dropped the five used candles in a random dumpster, figuring it’d be safer to get rid of them.
oOoOo
The second time he felt something might be going on was when he was going through his drawers.
He’d been rooting through his “leftover” drawer for something to wear, having already uprooted most of his closet and the other drawers. Nothing had really stuck out to him today, so he’d turned his attention to the bottom right drawer which he rarely touched. The “leftover” drawer was full of clothing that had fallen out of favor for whatever reason, like having to rid of the usual paired garment. He should probably clean it out sometime.
He picked up a shirt for a band that made his nose wrinkle (seriously, how had he ever liked those guys!?), and that’s when he saw it. The bright yellow stars against the purple fabric caught his eye immediately, his face lighting up with delight.
“That looks perfect!” he exclaimed, tossing aside the band shirt to pull out the starry-patterned garment. His excitement soon fell though as he realized it wasn’t a cool shirt, but some sort of... Actually, he wasn’t sure what it was? When he held it up it unfolded a bit, revealing a large rectangle of fabric. It had a sort of curve to the center, and holes near each end of the rectangle.
He turned it around with a frown, puzzled. “Is this one of those hair towel things?” he muttered uncertainly. He’d seen some special towels for sale designed to easily wrap your hair after showers. It didn’t feel like a towel though, the fabric not exactly water-absorbent. The two holes also seemed to point away from that being the case.
Glancing at the drawer as if hoping it would provide some form of answer, he was then surprised when it kinda did. There was another starry-patterned thing there, a little smooshed from being stored under all the clothes. When he pulled it out it almost instantly popped into its regular shape, revealing a wizard hat. A very small, cute wizard hat.
“Heh, this is kinda cute,” he said to himself with a small smile. Pausing, after a long moment he put it on his head and twirled to look in his mirror. Alas, the hat was too small for his human head and looked more silly than fun, his shoulders slumping in disappointment as he sadly removed it. Darn, Hizashi loved getting to dress up in silly looking stuff.
More importantly though, he still had no idea what the other thing was, or even where they came from. As he looked at them in disappointment he heard a familiar meow from the doorway, and turn to find Sprinkles blinking up at him with big sparkly eyes. “Hey Sprinkles,” he greeted with a big smile.
A bit of inspiration struck him, and he trotted over to plop the hat on her head. It fit perfectly, her ears disappearing inside and making him crow in delight. “Hah! That looks great, Sprinkles!” he cheered. “Like it was made for you!” He paused then, his gaze returning to the mystery fabric still in his hand. Hold on, maybe, just maybe...
Curiosity piqued, he removed the hat and tried to pull the mystery garment over her. Sprinkles was surprisingly patient with his attempts to dress him, even as he covered up her head in his attempts to pull it on. It seemed like it might not work, but then her head popped through the bigger hole and she blinked up at him with another happy mew.
Hizashi had to pause then, hands flying briefly to cover his mouth. “Oh my gosh,” he whispered. After several long seconds he gingerly reached out and pulled the tip of her tail through the hole on the other end. It popped through and immediately puffed up to its regular fluffiness, and his hands immediately returned to cover his mouth with a small squeak.
Eyes flicking to the hat, he pried one hand from his mouth to slowly reach out and pick it up, quickly depositing it on her head. His hand flew back as he gave another squeak, his eyes lighting up.
“Oh my gosh!” he repeated in a high-pitched squeak, voice breaking just slightly. Sprinkles just mewed, all sparkles and sunshine as she stood there in all her magical wizard glory.
Hizashi covered his mouth as he gave a muffled squeal, doing everything to keep his Quirk from slipping through. “It’s like it was made for you!” he squeaked out. Sprinkles was just so cute like this, it was almost like magic!
That night Sprinkles got a lot more love than usual, and given how much he usually fawned over her that was saying a lot.
(In the end, he forgot to wonder about where the stuff came from.)
oOoOo
The third indicator something was off was when he posted a picture of Sprinkles.
At first posting a picture of her in the wizard costume to his Twitter seemed like the obvious thing to do. How could he not share her adorableness with the world? Sprinkles was so cute in the wizard outfit! It captured the absolute innocence and cuteness that was the essence of Sprinkles! And all 43 pictures turned out great!
But seconds before hitting the “Tweet” button with three of the cuter photos he’d hesitated, a sudden doubt overtaking him. What if Sprinkles might be too cute? What if some jealous soul saw that picture of Sprinkles, and became so entranced by her adorableness that they decided to kidnap her? He’d already had satanists break in with egg-scented vanilla candles!

He’d already had satanists break in with egg-scented vanilla candles!
In the end, he decided not to. The risk was just too great.
But he couldn’t not show off his kitty, she was just too cute! So he decided to post a more neutral picture of her au naturel instead, settling on a picture of her sitting on the kitchen counter next to a bowl of ice cream. In his opinion it highlighted the sparkly quality of her eyes quite well, and was reasonably cute, but not might-get-her-kidnapped cute.
He added a caption “It’s all too sweet!” and hit send, and then muted his phone for the rest of the night. Using electronics too close to bedtime would make it that much harder to go to sleep after all, and even a handful of notifications would keep him up.
The next day, he unlocked his phone and almost fell off his chair when he saw all the likes and retweets he’d gotten. The picture had gone viral overnight, his account exploding with thousands of new followers. It overshadowed all his other posts.
Best of all though? Shouta had liked it.
He would later apologize many times to his landlord for breaking the window with his resulting squeal.
oOoOo
The fourth indication something might be off was tax season.
“I hate tax season,” Shouta said flatly when he showed up to his apartment for a romantic dinner. “I want to never see a tax form again.”
“Huh, doesn’t UA have fancy accountants to handle that?” Hizashi asked, genuinely surprised.
“Our accountants are busy handling all the finances involved in the constant reconstruction around the training grounds.” Pause. “And also replacing all the robots destroyed in training.” Pause. “And furniture destroyed in the dorms.” Pause. “And all the explosions from the Support Department. Apparently there’s been more than usual this year.”
“Yeah, they sound busy,” Hizashi agreed with a frown. “Well, if they’re that bad, you can leave it here!”
“You’d do my taxes?” Shouta snorted, but Hizashi shook his head.
“Not me. I hate doing them probably even more than you, yo!”
“Ah. So, you hire an accountant to do them? Wouldn’t it cost extra to hire them to do mine too?”
“Nah, no need! Sprinkles takes care of it.” That made Shouta pause, turning to look at him with the most adorable wrinkle between his eyebrows.
“Sprinkles...?” he repeated slowly, and Hizashi bobbed his head with a grin.
“Yep! She’s great at it! I’m sure she’d be willing to handle yours too.”
“Sprinkles,” Shouta repeated, again, still looking so adorably confused. “Sprinkles does your taxes.”
“Uh-huh! She’s doing them right now!” He gestured behind them, and Shouta twisted around on the couch to look. On the floor next to the wall sat Sprinkles, a bunch of papers spread around her paws and a gray blazer draped over her back.
“...Hizashi,” he said after a moment. “Does Sprinkles actually do taxes?”
“Yeah! She’s got a degree in it, see?” Hizashi pointed to the wall, proudly beaming as Shouta stared at all the framed diplomas and degrees hanging there bearing her name. Sprinkles was such a smart kitty!
“...Hizashi,” Shouta said after a long moment. “When, and where, did Sprinkles get degrees?”
Hizashi opened his mouth to answer but paused as the question registered. “I... don’t know,” he said, his own eyebrows furrowing. “She just... does?” He frowned slightly as he watched Sprinkles meow at one of the many forms, lightly pushing it around with her paw.
oOoOo
The biggest sign that made him think something was going on though, was probably when he went to the basement.
“Where is that kitty?” he muttered worriedly as he walked down the long, winding hallway, only the torches on the walls lighting his way. Sprinkles had pulled a disappearing act, common for most cats but not for Sprinkles. It had sparked concerns she might have been kidnapped by one of her thousands of Tumblr followers, sending him into a panic. He’d practically torn his apartment apart looking for Sprinkles before finally opening the heavy wooden door to descend the stairs.
He shivered as he looked at the cold stone walls, the torches’ fire doing nothing to help warm the space. The basement was just so dank and cold, and the thought of her being down here made his heart pang with concern. The basement was no place for a cute, fluffy cat like Sprinkles!
...Actually, come to think of it, since when did he have a basement? He’s pretty sure the lease only mentioned the apartment. And on that note, why was the door hidden in the back of his closet behind a poster?
He could worry about it later though. Right now he needed to find Sprinkles. He could see faint, flickering light at the end of the hall, signaling a doorway into a room. Hizashi perked up and picked up his pace a bit, eager to finally reach the end. He really hoped Sprinkles was there, he’d been walking down this hall for ten minutes now!
As he got closer the lights grew brighter, as did the faint smell of smoke, vanilla and rotten eggs. His nose wrinkled a little bit at the last one, but he pushed forward. “Sprinkles?” he called almost tentatively as he reached the doorway, and stopped.
Several people in soft-looking sweaters sat huddled on the floor around a pentagram, turning to look at him almost as one. Vanilla-scented candles littered the floor, casting flickering glows all over the cat towers, toy mice and sporadic assortments of human bones on the floor. It left most of the room dark, but he could see another person by the back wall holding an axe as they stood before a woman strapped to a torture rack.
Hizashi stared, his eyes slowly roving over the people crowded around the pentagram, over the pictures of Sprinkles printed on their shirts. Over the woman strapped to a torture rack in a shadowy corner with another woman holding an axe. To the large poster of Sprinkles’s face on the other back corner, partially lit by a wide beam of light from some unknown source. To the poster next to it, even more clearly illuminated with the title “WORDS OF OUR SAVIOR” and a paw and hand print.
BE SMART
BE LOVING
BE BABY
BE SPRINKLES
Hizashi stared, just absorbing it all. And, slowly, his eyes returned to the center of the room.
To Sprinkles, in the center of it all, in her adorable little wizard costume in the middle of a pentagram.
“Wha...?” Before he could do anything the people surged forward, lunging and tackling him to the ground. Hands pinned his limbs and he opened his mouth to scream but someone shoved a toy mouse in his mouth, effectively gagging him. The hands pinning him quickly pulled him up as the cultists tied him up with a ball of yarn, wrapping it around him several times to pin his arms to his sides.
As they dragged him into the room he spit out the mouse, coughing and hacking. “Hey, what—oh my gosh, ew, my tongue feels nasty! Can someone get me water or something? Please?” His cries went ignored, dragged to a cage in a different shadowy corner and shoved inside. Hizashi grunted as he hit the bars, scrambling to sit up as the door slammed. “Hey—”
“All hail Sprinkles,” the cult chanted monotonously, and returned to their original positions. Sprinkles just blinked at him, her eyes looking extra sparkly in the candelight, and mewed. Hizashi’s line of sight was broken though, someone stepping in front of the cage.
“What’s going—SHOUTA!?” His voice rose to a startled squeak as he recognized his boyfriend crouched in front of him, beautiful messy black hair and scruff and everything. He wore a purple sweatshirt—surprisingly vibrant for the man—with the picture of Sprinkles and the words “SPRINKLES CULT PRESIDENT” printed above it.
For a moment they just stared at each other, neither of them speaking.
“All hail Sprinkles,” Shouta said, and gave a thumbs up with a tiny little smile with his tongue sticking out.
At that moment Hizashi sat up in bed with a startled gasp, finding himself face to face with Sprinkles’s big, blinking eyes.
“Mew,” she meowed, and he melted with a smile, reaching out to hug her.
“Come here, you!” he chuckled, rubbing his cheek against her as she happily headbutted him. “I just had the craziest dream! There was a cult for you in our basement and everything, it was so weird!” Sprinkles just mewed, and he laughed. He paused then, sniffing. “Sprinkles, do you smell rotten eggs?”
Sprinkles mewed, and he shrugged it off. Eh, probably just his imagination.
oOoOo
The next morning inside the coffee shop he stared at Shouta’s shirt, bright eye-searing purple with Sprinkles emblazoned on it, and just slowly raised his eyes.
“Shouta?” he asked slowly. “Where did you get that shirt?”
“Dunno. I just woke up in it.”
“And you’re wearing it because...?”
“Didn’t feel like changing.” Shouta just calmly drank his coffee, ignoring Hizashi’s stare.
It occurred to Hizashi, then, that there were many things he didn’t know about Sprinkles. Like what she did while he was gone, or how she knew how to do taxes. Or why she appeared in his apartment the same day that someone broke into his house for the first time to leave a demonic pentagram carved into his floor, all the furniture around it lying on its backs or sides as if knocked over by a great force of wind.
........Eh, Sprinkles was too cute to be evil. He’d worry about it later.
oOoOo
Somewhere in Musutafu, a sparkly-eyed cat in a wizard costume sat next to a phone open to Tumblr, blinking down at the screen. The follower count slowly ticked upwards, and with it so did the power accumulating in her body, steadily feeding off the adoration of her fans.
She blinked, eyes sparkling just a bit brighter.
“Mew.”

Wow. After the break, I still feel tired. Lol, I’m getting old.
How are you guys? Chinese New Year was just a week ago, I will like to take this chance to wish everyone a happy Rooster year. May your wishes come true. Any Chinese fans in here? You know as a Chinese grandma here, this is always my favorite time of year, even better than Thanksgiving. Well, 1) I don’t like turkey that much so I don’t want to eat it. I like the spring rolls, crab soup, sweet and sour pork and all the deliciousness that come with the celebration. And on top of that, we freaking get to have money. (Bitches better have my money!) I always think Chinese New Year is the combo of Thanksgiving and Christmas, you get to eat and you get money. What’s better than that?
Okay, enough of the chit chat and let’s move on but before we do that, I will like to maybe apologize or something. Remember I told you guys about this special surprise and that I said I will let you guys know in this week. Ummm, well… I don’t have it…yet. I will have it in the future, sometimes, but I’m really working on it! Please be patience with me. Thank you.
Anyway as usual, I will like to pay tributes and give credits where they are due. First off, thank you Ratana Satis for blessing us with this great comic, which I’m sure we’ll spend countless of hours reading and fangirling over the 2 characters. I also want to thank the translators and staffs for doing an awesome job. You can read this on Lezhin or if you’re smart you will find some way to read it for free but I’m not promoting it here.
Okay, let’s get started.
Oh, did I mention that this is a yuri? Well, it is.
Spoiler Alert!!!!
Yas!!! Relationship goal: become one with your significant other. Gosh, I want to cry, this is so beautiful.
They probably have sex everyday and that’s not a bad thing at all.
I always wonder what it’s like to be on the phone while the other side is having sex. Luckily, I never call anyone at a bad time (or good time for them) and listening on their moaning and groaning. I will have to wash my ears afterward.
All good things must come to an end. I mean I feel bad that Mel got suspended for two weeks but that were the two weeks of her getting down with Lynn. Damn, it should’ve been longer. They need to build their relationship.
Look, first day back and she’s already surrounded by her fans. Lynn is going to be jealoussss.
Oh my god, is like she’s seeing a ghost. That reaction. Sigh, trouble is coming, I can already feel it.
Oh, so they did work together, which I can safely assumed this long purple hair chick is Sue.
So we’re finally getting into Mel’s past. So that mean we’re finally getting to the core of the story. This should be interesting.
Oh god, flashback on Mel and the crazy-looking Sue. Here we go.
This is going to be a long ride. I don’t know how I feel about this.
Wow, is that Mel with short hair?! I never imagine!
All these lovely moments from them, it makes my heart angsty. There was a moment in time that Mel was happy and in love with a woman that it’s not Lynn and I’m not liking it.
But I can’t deny that she is beautiful.
Possessive and ambitious, this is a recipe for disaster.
Ooooo, look at those legs. But also look at all those girls surrounding Mel.
And someone is piss. See Mel, sometimes being too pretty can be a bad thing.
I have a question. Mel and Lynn are both equally attractive, Mel is sexy and Lynn is cute but still how come Lynn doesn’t get any girls. I mean seriously not one girl?! All she got was that one random dude that I forgot his name.
Anyway, I’m just pumping myself up because I know for the upcoming chapters things are going to get hairy and I don’t know if I’m ready for any angst or Lynn getting hurt. Gosh, Ratana please don’t hurt my feelings.
Wrap Up
So things are finally going down. This mysterious Sue chick is actually Mel’s ex and now she’s back, you bet she’s going to create chaos for everyone. That’s usually what exes do when they return and that’s why they’re called exes.
Anyway, let us get into what these chapters are about.
So as you know, all good things do come to an end and unfortunately Mel had to go back to work and joined the society. However, the two weeks that she was absent, she spent every single minute with her beloved Lynn (and they probably spend every second screwing each other). So Mel went back to work and of course that meant she would interact with more ladies again and of course that meant the ladies were flocking to her like a moth to a fire. However, that was not shocking to Mel, girls flocking to her was expected and it was like breathing to her, so natural. What Mel freaked out and sent her into a coma was seeing her ex again, crazy purple hair chick, Sue.
Then Mel had a flashback or the purple chick had a flashback, well whoever was having the flashback, it shown that Mel and Sue were once girlfriend and girlfriend. Probably at one point, Sue was the one and only for Mel, like maybe if shits didn’t happen they would probably get married kinda serious type of girlfriends. Oh, but something happened. They got into an argument, Sue got injure, there was blood and somehow it had to do with the hand. Maybe that was one of the reasons why Sue was no longer a doctor and somehow that relationship just ended. Everyone moved on but not really because deep inside, the two girls still had a thorn that they could not pull out from their heart.
Flashback to reality, Mel and Lynn are together now but looking at how Sue reacted to the couple, I don’t think there will be great things that come from this. We’re finally getting to the core of the story and we’ll be able to figure out why Mel acts the way she acts in the beginning. However, I said the core but we still have a major obstacle we need to get through, which is Lynn’s sickness. These two cases may correlate with each other and maybe we’ll find out if Mel still have feelings for Sue or will she finally moves on with her life.

5. Maybe, Just Maybe
Spencer📱
Hey, it's Spencer. I heard JJ wanted to invite you to the lake. Do you think you'll go?
Y/N 📱
Yeah! I just got off the phone with her. I can't wait! Are you going?
Spencer📱
Surprisingly...yes. I'll be bringing some books along to pass the time but it'll be nice to have a change of scenery.
Y/N📱
Books??? We'll see about that😉 I love a good book as much as the next bibliophile...but this is a weekend for things you CANT do at home. Anyways, would you want to carpool? We can take turns driving if one of us gets tired. Passenger is in control of snacks and music! 🎶🍿
Spencer📱
Haha, ok deal. We'll work out the details later. And...thanks :)
Y/N📱
