When Vince shifts, he finds that his limbs feel loose and pleasantly heavy. The surface he’s lying on is soft and deeply padded, nothing like the cold floors he is accustomed to. There is a pillow beneath his head and another two tucked close to his back and chest. It’s almost like the little nests he remembers being swaddled in, way back when he was a baby puppy. Vince wants to snuggle down into the softness again, but his instincts are telling him to sit up. This is not heaven. Monsters like Vince don’t belong anywhere but hell. Wherever he is, it’s a trap. He needs to get his bearings so he can be ready to defend himself.

im writing a wilmon one shot thingy that i've been working on on and off for months and it just stops working whenever i think of ways for them to actually get together??? like they're in their getting to know each other stage and ive just been editing what i have instead of them actually asking each other out or kissing idk what this shit is writing romance sucks (i love it)!! but good news is it's 7k which is a lot for me, without even getting close to the lovers part of the enemies-friends-lovers stages!!

see my biggest problem as a creative mind is that I often confuse tossing an idea into the daydream spincycle and obsessively imagining things about it for days until it evolves into a fullblown concept with nuances and details for actually committing that idea to memory so i can come back to it at a later time

turns out just thinking about stuff a lot does not actually mean much if I don't write any of it down, especially when my exciting memory issues inevitably come into effect

Most ADHD Moment Ever

Needed to catch a phone call this afternoon to get my ADHD meds (which my provider did not send to pharmacy grrr)

Hung up call with assistant who set the appointment and promptly forgot I had set it due to hyperfocus on work project

Remembered at 7:30 when I surfaced that I had the call scheduled five hours previously

Provider called me five times

Phone was on silent

It’s Friday so no one is available to help til Monday

Tiny life update (also re: the Discworld requests from last fall):

I hurt my right hand some two months ago, resulting in pain when moving my thumb, which... uh. Severely restricts my use of it at the time being. I’ve picked up drawing left-handed since and am doing pretty decent for it being my non-dominant hand, but... yeah. While I’m working on something at the moment, I haven’t been able to pick up the requests I was working on before all this happened, so. While I might post some older art in the upcoming weeks/month/s, I might also not post much until I can get this fixed (hopefully soon; please cross your fingers for me, as I have a second doctor’s appointment for this issue next week).
