finally done. i tried to make it as accurate as possible, but the sims 4 has quite a few limitations and even the references i had contradicted themselves sometimes so i had to use a bit of artistic liberty.

they dont seem to keep much clutter around the house but i wanted to give it a more home-y feel, so i just imagine that after chise moved in it got a bit more cozy.

#its only 'done' because i know ill keep working on it until the end of time so i Have To Stop Myself Here #the stairs gave me an insurmountable amount of grief. and the windows and the bathroom #included but not pictured is also the storage room that was mentioned one (1) single time #and a second downstairs bathroom that isnt meant to be used. it fit in the layout of the house and i imagine its just silkys cleaning stuff #the outside was actually really fun to do even though a lot was artistic liberty since theres not many references at all #the ancient magus bride #tamb #mahoutsukai no yome #mahoyome

#and i feel like im going insane trying ti map out the full extent of the transmisogyny of it all #when i tried to help him with the frustrations he was having with his friend and defended the friend even slightly #he accused me of talking like the friend was my actual boyfriend and told me to go run away with him #when he broke a fuck ton of glass in our bathroom his clean up was even more half assed than usual cause of the state he was in #so even as he apologized to me and called his behaviour abuse and used all the right words #it was still me cleaning up after his abuse literally with a broom and mop #i still freak out at rhe very idea of broken glass and i know that trigger isnt going away anytime soon #and i still didnt leave after that #then him and his friend took so many of my words out of context to essentially accuse me of emotional cheating with people on here #and i cant think about that conversation without thinking about how yall on here have talked about abusers using cheating accusations #and when we finally broke uo he couldnt help but keep giving me permission for things #permission to throw something of his in a lake #permission to let my friends talk shit and be mean #but then when i had something mean to say afterwards and he saw it by checking my blog #he punished me for it by doing everything he could tk scare thr shit out of me #cause even as we were broken uo he hadnt given me permission to talk shit #only to listen to my friends #and even after all that him and his friend still expected that i would share my car and weed for them to use #and i still did with the car cause im either wonderful for dumb as hell #probably both #then after all that his friend cut me off as a friend using the fact that i had asked him why he was refusing to even look at me and if we #were cool to say i was demanding and pushing him and not respecting his boundaries #he used me asking why i was being treated as a pariah to justify treating me as a pariah #after all i had refused to still be a punching bag #i stopped buying him weed #so it was time for me to be disposed of #and even as they disposed of me they still expected me to live in that house for another fucking month with them #i was used and disposed of by two of the people i was closest with #one of whom i would have married eventually if he hadnt pushed it over the edge

i want to write this fic that's like — cowboy bakugou, late 1800's style LOL

with him as a leeeeetle bit older, spent his life in cattle drives, wanted to be a marshal at some point, but his health and injuries from his younger days made it hard 🥺 he doesn't settle down, doesn't have any kids though he's in his mid-30's, and — one day he gets a letter that toshinori dies.

it's really supposed to be deku's responsibility, but only god knows where he is. probably got the news and can't accept it, too chicken-shit to face it. yeah, it tears katsuki up inside, too, but someone has to stick around in musutafu and help figure out his estate, the ranch.

help figure out you.

toshinori married in his late age, an ad he put out on the paper. bought you, as katsuki has always said, though the older man would always just smile wryly at the comment, look around at his extensive acreage, his horses and cattle, and he'd say,

"i only want someone to share this with, young man, do you understand?"

and he didn't. he really, really didn't. especially because you were younger than even bakugou, fresh-faced, hardly knew how to cook anything decent or how to ride a horse. waste of money, in katsuki's eyes.

but when he arranges his feelings right, he meets you on the ranch and — you're scared, because you're now a widowed woman and everyone and their mama wants a piece. you have the money, now, to upkeep the place but you've never done it by yourself. have learned more in the few years you've been married but it's a big place, a big responsibility.

and when katsuki hears that the bank wants to take it all from you, he's all, "over my dead fuckin' body."

it's really all deku's responsibility, since he and toshinori were closer, but you need someone now. and if bakugou has to stay in the house with you and help with the ranch, make sure no one comes to bother you—

then he'll do it. because that's what the old man would've wanted.

stories that are inspired by House of Leaves and feature malevolent architecture and houses that change its structure in ways that’s impossible are great and we need more of it especially in horror. but let’s be real: what really cemented House of Leaves as the Book of All Time was Johnny Truant appearing every few pages to give a graphic description of some chick he banged. if a story has only the creepy architecture and does not have a mind-screwy sex scene that appears almost out of nowhere, the story doesn’t exactly take inspiration from HoL as a whole, but rather it takes inspiration from The Navidson Record.

nobody asked but here’s what I think happened after the bar:

- Cam drove becca back to her parents house

- becca thinks about offering her in but knows cam will say no so they both just sit in a weird charged silence

- Cam went home by herself, full of shame and guilt and anger, then proceeded to get shit faced and probably got herself off
