Another thing I've been thinking about is that how Harry will choose to behave after The Hanged Man case and after Kim joins Precinct 41... I am thinking about Kim and Jean the most actually.
Jean is codependent to the point of self-destruction, he still feels respect and compassion for Harry even though he can't help it because he has worked with him for so long, and sadly he has little or no self-respect. That's why he has been putting up with Harry's habits and behaviors for so long, and I believe he will continue to do so for a long while after this latest case. Kim, on the other hand, is emotionally self-sufficient and independent, he knows how to be alone, and has a high self-respect. Therefore, if Harry relapses again and tries to treat Kim the way he treated Jean, I think Kim will reject Harry's behavior much more quickly and harshly, and in the worst case, he will give up on him to preserve his own mental health and self-respect; which is something Jean hasn't been able to do for years.
If Harry truly chooses to let the past go and treat himself and those around him better, it is clear that the relationship he has built with Kim, based on mutual respect and trust, will have a huge impact on his recovery. In this case, Kim will again have done something that Jean hasn't been able to do for years: He will be Harry Du Bois' true partner who helped him recover after years of self-dectructive behaviors. So whichever path Harry chooses to take from now on, Kim will always be accomplishing something that Jean wanted to do but couldn't.
Esprit de Corps instantly recognizing Kim as Harry's half-brother but not recognizing Jean even in the last scene without Jean saying so. The familiar bright halo behind Kim's head and the dark, forgotten iconography of the square halo behind Jean's head. The identification of Kim with the sun (energy, orange, brightness, power) and Jean with the moon (melancholy, blue, dim light, grief). Kim as the future and Jean as the past. It truly is tragic to be Jean Vicquemare in any case.
