Okay! So I have thoughts!!!!

First off, does anyone remember when JoJo shared those first snippets? How there was a fun little detail that suddenly disappeared when the comic actually became more than doodles?

I know there's a chance I'm wrong, a big one at that, but I think it would be really cool if, if only for a short while, JoJo brought him back, even if it's just for this era of Hyrule. Let Time have his owl buddy!

Anyways, to the actual comic!

I noticed that the boys are all still together, so I'm guessing they're waiting until they come to a cross-roads to actually split up like Four advised last time. So we have that to look forwards to in the coming updates!

I love that she's really highlighting the similarities and differences in this arc, showing us who knows what and what they've done, but also the little things; both with owls and the antifairy!

I adore the Owlan reference/appearance!

And Time immediately agreeing about the "long, drawn out lectures part" made me laugh. (His expression, my Hylia!!!)

That is the face of a man who kept accidentally asking to "hear it again" and regrets it with every bone of his being LOL

It's good to see more call backs to the last comics too! Having Hyrule be wary of the statue because he remembers seeing it before, and Warriors agreeing, but also reminding that it didn't cause harm. The fact that Hyrule keeps his sword pointed at it though, wary, does say a lot about how cautious he's being all the same (Wild ought to take notes)

And of course this whole panel

Twilight's awkwardly trying to assure the rest without spilling the secret, Sky laughing and turning to look at Legend, and the fact that the vet is just so entirely done with even just the thought of being a rabbit. (I love his face, omgosh).

Te way I screamed "anti-fairy!" when I saw this, and then was so, so delighted that Legend and I had the same thought (I am unwell about this man).

I'm equally unwell about the fact that Legend just has to say "ouch" (which you only say at inconveniences and not real, actual hurts) and immediately everyone's turning, weapons out and ready to help him face...whatever. Like, he's fine, guys, but it's sweet you care (now Legend, please take note and realize you belong, you idiot)

Love that Time hears "fairy" and immediately is all ears. All the more so at the "anti" part. Man was raised by fairies and he absolutely doesn't like the idea of something that would hurt them.

Meanwhile Legend is just being freaking Haku (Spirited Away) over here!

Also, his casual use of magic to purify something, to just make it no longer a threat, rather than hurting it. That need to save EVERYONE is really showing through here, huh?

And immediately, everyone is shocked that he did that, but also what it means about fairies. About dark magic. But Time and Wars especially!

Gosh, just Legend's little worried face and Time's offense at the idea of fairies being corrupted and harmed. Shows a bit about them here too I think. Time is maybe slightly obsessed with fairies (reasonably so) and hates them being harmed, but he shows his worry on the matter in anger. legend, meanwhile, becomes more sombre, quieter: it bothers him too (maybe reminds him of a certain predecessor?)

Get this man a tiara, he's a freaking Disney Princess over here, good grief!!!! He's carrying fairy food on what? The slim chance he has time to stop and feed them? Honestly, i know he's probably as attached to fairies as Time (although with a healthier relationship with them), but this is just too cute. this man is going to be the death of me!!!

「STORY (short ver.)」

Kimiko was never fond of her family, she always felt so distant from them and wasn't treated lovingly. After failing time and time again to gain their approval. Kimiko decided to move on and came to Italy in pursue of a job opportunity, perhaps this would be her chance? A new start with a happy life, but unfortunately this wasn't what it seemed. She was tricked and nearly smuggled once reaching her "job" but luckily escaped in time. However since she used every last penny to pursue this false career, she was stuck. Lost and alone, in a foreign country. She lived on the streets for several months. Starving and trying to survive, she joined a small unknown gang out of desperation. But was once again ended up in danger when one of the members try to have their way with her in an alley. Luckily a passersby rescued her from the situation, he revealed himself to be Bruno. After talking with the stranger for a while, he offered her a position in Passione. Even though she was hesitant and still shaken up she agreed to join. Some time passes and after a few encounters with stand users she gained her own. That's when she decided her new life started then and there. Passione and Bruno had filled her empty heart with a burning passion for life and she wanted to spend it with them, her new family. (These events happen a little before Giorno arrives.)

Tidbit(s)

🌿 Kimiko needs glasses but they got messed up during her time on the streets, so she couldn't really see for a little bit in the series. She eventually gets a new pair and cries when she can see everyone's faces clearly for the first time. (Happens after Giorno and Trish join)

🌿 Her stands name is Boom Boom Satellites~ named after one of my fav J-rock bands!

🌿 Kimiko likes to feed the abundance of stray cats that are around the area on her downtime. She also enjoys writing poetry, listening to music, and drinking tea with Bruno.

🐦🌊🐦 Kimiko deeply admires and respects Bruno as person. She finds his goals extremely admirable and knows that he's a person that cares deeply for those around him, she wouldn't hesitate to follow him to the ends of the earth. Kimiko can let her guard down around him. Bruno and her tend to spend a lot of time at different cafes together, taking walks to view the scenery, and trying out different restaurants. Bruno enjoys his time with Kimiko and likes how supportive and innocent she is. They often chat about a lot of different things together~

⭐⭐🔫 Other than Bruno, Kimiko is really close to both Trish and Mista. With Mista around Kimiko feels at ease and laughs a lot with him. They often hang out and go to cinemas, or find other fun or mischievous things to do around town, it's really a breathe of fresh air with him! And she really enjoys their friendship! Fugo and Narancia tag along too~ After getting use to her, Mista began treating her like one of the gang.

🌺🌹🌸 With Trish Kimiko finds it easy to talk with her, they're actually more similar than what they realize. They often spend hours talking, just nice having a break for themselves to be girls for a while honestly. Kimiko often goes out with Trish shopping, or to go get sweets from pastry shops. She has a protective instinct towards Trish because she sees herself within her. Kimiko treasures the bond between them a lot. Trish seems to appreciate the company and enjoys herself when they hangout.

⏪▶⏩ Kimiko sees Abbacchio as an authority figure, and someone she can trust undoubtedly. She often goes to him or Bruno for advice. Abbacchio sometimes does offer her advice, but usually he ends up telling her that she should use her own head and gut. She usually finds herself wanting Abbacchio's approval. Even though she finds him intimidating, Kimiko knows that she can trust him with her life. She sometimes tags along with him when he runs small earns. Abbacchio wonders about Kimiko sometimes, she's a bit naive in his eyes. And honestly he thinks she's too soft for this sort of life. But he knows how much Bruno cares about her. So he watches over her from a distance for him.

🔱⭐🔱 Kimiko respects Giorno a lot. She respects his intelligences and ability as a person and stand user. Giorno has a lot of Kimiko's trust even though she does not display it with words. She always asks Giorno what his views are on certain matters and she likes having conversations with him. They take strolls around town, or Giorno stops by sometimes to help her with the strays. Giorno likes chatting with Kimiko. They find each other interesting.

🍊🍊✈ For Narancia, Kimiko often finds herself wanting to take care of him like an older sister, or mother. Though she realize that he's his own person and tries her best not to smother or pester him. Usually internalizing the urges. Her and Narancia often read books, play games, and listen to music together. She also tries to help him study sometimes along with Fugo. But she really sucks at math as well, so Fugo ends up schooling both her and Narancia. Other times Narancia eagerly tries to get Kimiko to join in when him, Mista, and Fugo dance~ but she's too shy to.

🍓🍓💉 When it comes to Fugo, Kimiko sorta views him as a younger brother, he doesn't seem to mind though. Fugo often helps her out if she asks and Kimiko really appreciates that when he does. She tries to help him out a lot in return! They don't hangout much outside of Passione's activities! But they sometimes spend time together if someone else is along with them (mista, narancia, trish)

Close up on Drac’s upper half cause the drawing was way too big for one photo of it. Something that I noticed while staring at his sprite for a while is that he’s probably not wearing a hood, but chainmail armor with a helmet on top :O!

Entire page view to get all the Dracula in frame lol. His armor isn’t falling off btw, everything is rising into place from the altar. Hopefully he’s not too gorey for general tags uhhh yeah d(TwT ).

This is him when he’s done coming together. He’s still not fully powerful or physically all there yet, but it’s just enough to be able to troll Simon at the end 💀💀💀. Anyway yeah he’s totally me when my arch nemesis doesn’t find my teeth and accidentally summons me before I’m ready lol.

Simon is literally so fun to just put in poses. He is almost always my model for drawing poses because his big thighs kinda force you to make his pose even more exaggerated to get the same amount of open space and ratio of things— yeah idk it’s fun. He’s also allowed to have some sass sometimes I think. Fun fact! I didn’t use a reference for these :3. I’m so proud! Angles like this are usually hard!!! Oh and rare family heirloom sword moment. I’m taking this as a nod to the recent Haunted Castle remake now, which was so out of no where like (*o* ). I’ll take it!!! Simon game!!! A win!!! Hopefully the next collection they put out has Adventure Rebirth in it X3.

Which is why I also tried drawing him with other expressions!!!!!! In this one he is surprised and awkwardly responding to being told something so negative it’s almost comedic 💀💀💀. I was imagining the one town in Simon’s Quest with some bangers like “after Castlevania I told you never to return” and “you’ve upset the people now get out of town” X,,,,,D. He’s a little taken aback and was gonna try to defend himself, but he just leaves anxiously.

Please imagine that in this one he is saying that one meme that goes “it is hot as hell in this fucking ass hot ass room I’m in… IS THAT THE GRIM REAPER⁉️⁉️⁉️”.

Yay! Putting him on furniture for background practice!!! He is sitting on a church pew, having a couple micro sleeps cause he’s sleep deprived. He may fall off cause that armor is a little too heavy when sitting down I’d imagine.

idk why i feel so defensive over jojo siwa getting dunked on for being cringe im not like. a fan of hers ive never listened to a single song of hers or anything. i think its that one she reminds me of my butch little blonde haired blue eyed niece who tries very hard to be Street but also its not just the similarity between someone I already care about. i think her perma tween thing is actually kind of very endearing im sure she'll grow out of it eventually...it doesnt feel like a lot of famous child actors/online personalities where theyre purely financially driven to keep acting young she seems genuinely a little stunted. but not in like, a justin beiber shithead acting out way is crucial. shes like a kid making sure everyone knows she isnt a BABY anymore she knows this is the age shes "supposed to" grow up and pull a Miley Cyrus. but she just like. isnt there developmentally so it comes off weird and tryhard and inorganic but i think its a genuine struggle for her. i also like the way she speaks i love love her deeper voice and something about her like...brash enthusiasm reminds me of like the volleyball girls who would be nice to your autistic ass in middle school but you were scared bcs they talked like THIS!! and you couldnt tell if they were dunking on you but they werent they were just so full of genuine school spirit that your jaded 11 y/o self had already lost at that point. idk this is so extremely parasocial i just think shes a good egg lol and i like her 😭 😭 and sometimes you have to chose a celebrity to be completely delusional about. also i hate when people make vids like HERES how jojo siwa can GLOW UP and they give her like sabrina carpenter makeup and make her put her hairdown and look very extremely heterosexual and cookie cutter and blonde. absolutely not. absolutely not

That ask about how fic writers ran with the premise of redemption for so long reminded me of an old fic called A Peaceful Afterlife. It was a JJBA crossover fic w/ Hazbin back before even the pilot came out, and it honestly does an excellent job of taking what little was known about the show at the time and running with it. IDK how familiar you are with JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, but the premise is that one of the main antagonists, whose goal was to have a peaceful and mundane life while also being a hand-obsessed serial killer, checks into the hotel out of curiosity. Naturally, his strangely collected nature clashes with the more outlandish Hazbin cast in a lot of fun ways, putting Charlie’s ideals to the test, showing Vaggie’s supportive yet untrusting nature and even striking up a surprisingly sweet friendship with Angel. It also made the brilliant decision to have the dead JoJo characters look like their stands, which I ADORE as a concept, but you might have no idea what that means lol.

Sorry to ramble on, but it’s a really good read, and if you like JJBA and miss the good old days of HH I still recommend it. It’s a shame what Viv and the show turned out like, but it’s nice to have a reminder of when the fandom wasn’t awful yet.

2. Favorite canon thing about this character? Yes. All of the above. OKAY as true as that is, really? The vibes are immaculate. The aesthetic, the attitude, the style, hell- even the Dominoes Sponsorship /j Everything about Nathan is just chef's kiss. I love how they are just unapologetically themselves. Like UEGH even in… the Rising movie when they're going through that dream/memory/nightmare sequence and then snap out of it at the end by like hugging that younger version of them. Like it legit makes me tear up cause I see it as… Nathan being the version of herself that she needed back then. To just show herself a little bit of self-love. And it's just beautiful to me! Nathan Seymour is beautiful inside and out for real.

5. What's the first song that comes to mind when you think about this character? SAME AS YURI I'M SO SORRY-- THE FIRST THOUGHT WAS "GIRL IS ON FIRE" I promise I understand fire motif characters have more depth and that I'm just a slut for Alicia Keys, but TBH it completely fits Nathan a whole lot better. "So bright, she can burn your eyes, better look the other way. You can try, but you'll never forget her name." Also "She got her head in the clouds, and she's not backing down." Like not to talk about Sky High but like! Sorry I'll just never get over her riding on Sky High's shoulders as he flies around okay.

12. What is a headcanon you have for this character? I'm not too sure how much of this is actually considered a headcanon but I definitely believe that Nathan and Kotetsu have had a fling before. Super casual, no hard feelings afterwards, just a super cute temporary fling. A flame, if you will xD Like, maybe they one of them needed a date for a wedding or a plus one to some fancy event and they just had a really really good time. It's silly but their friendship just means a lot to me yes.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire? What if I sat here and sobbed about Fire Emblem and Sky High for ten years? What if I laid on the ground and made you a sweater of my tears? Like not even just because FireSky is a top-tier ship for me romantically but like? Even just their partnership as buddy heroes is just so wonderful and wholesome like. I love that in their episode in season 2, their "conflict" is… Thinking the other one is too perfect. And too good. That's just? It's so sweet and I can't handle it. They're so different from each other but in the best way possible. Like peanut butter and jelly. Different but they go together so so so well. Nathan is sassy and fierce while Keith is golden retriever goober man. They compliment each other so so well. 24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them? This is hard because Nathan is so freaking iconic but like…. if I had to pick one out….. Okay same as the last ask I'm having such a hard time but! If I had to shove them into another fandom that I love, I think they would fit So well into Ace Attorney (Imagining her as a witness or even a guest prosecutor would just be so much fun) or into Jojo's BIzarre Adventure, Part 6 Specifically (I would just love to see them interact with some of the Stone Ocean ladies.)

ok i’m gonna throw in 2 freebie questions 4 this one for fun, if that’s alright, apologies if it isn’t ^-^ i was just eyeing this 4 sips and thought this was a good chance.

2 . you could probably find some1 in the fandom who could ramble and rave about sips’ personality, design, vibes, etc. for DAYS. and i am no different, really. the themes of his character are being lost in the world and trying to find purpose and learning to be vulnerable and heal, which speaks to a LOT of people, as well as his personality (that is kind of infused with dingo’s humor, quirks, struggles). also the way he’s drawn, shit-eating grin and generally being a prick gets a lot of people hooked. basically, his whole design and personality pretty much, but if i had to narrow it down, i would say his special kind of defiance and general prick aura.

3 . i feel like his base design without the croc arm could be spiced up a liiittle bit more and given a few more ornaments, but that’s just me. the combo of open vest and harem pants just reminds me of aladdin lol. but who cares i’m not his character designer and its just a nitpick lmao

4 . same kind of genre as erina, aka obscure old anime. i’d give his a few more shonen elements and jttw inspiration, and a different artstyle kind of like jojo’s bizarre adventure (LOL) with more crosshatching and messier lines, more distinctive atmosphere, and draw sips very similarly to how he is in the series. the original series has a kind of storyboard feel, especially in the later episodes, and i think dull/greyscale backgrounds with some bright colors could make things more visually interesting. also psychological horror

7 . same headcanons they give to ohio jack, which is making him trans, autistic, etc. i do enjoy the more realistic takes on his design, like making him look like a whole ass macaque cuz i think it’s fun. i’ve drawn sips w top surgery scars b4, and i think it’s a cool addition to his character. also, i really, really like that at least this part of the fandom acknowledges that he’s aroace and doesn’t really ship him and instead focuses on his friendships, which i think does his character more of a service than shipping him with gothi. bit fandom will fandom, and i have nothing against shipping, etc. in short, i like this little corner of the fandom :]]

18 . i already wrote about gothi and sips, so i’ll do a different one this time. i wouldn’t say admire like at all, but this one is rlly interesting to me (and if you’ve been looking @ this blog 4 a bit, i do mention this duo), which is xanu and sips (and also the existence of xips). they’re foils, and have so many parallels like in the way they were both experimented on, hold their friends in high regard and everyone else is suspicious to them, etc., but sips seems more aware? which is a rarity when he’s contrasted with other people and both of them bring out a less seen side of each other, with sips meeting an actual Bad Guy and being less murderous compared to him, and xanu being especially annoyed and irritated by sips and kind of enabling him. agh. they should never talk to each other again. sorry 4 the ramble

Happy Birthday Josele~!

The Emotion Mage of the Grey Deer squad.

Morgen's Beloved Heart. The song of his soul. His treasure. His dearest.

Nacht's North Star. The light guiding him home. His angel. His darling.

Josele Canty.

Here she is depicted in her major stages of life. -First as a child, before she's met Morgen and Nacht. She's shy and withdrawn but all it will take is one chance meeting for her world to be changed. She grew out her hair as a child, thinking it would make her look more girly. -Second as a Magic Knight in the Grey Deer squad. She carries with her the grimoire she received alongside Morgen and Nacht. The sword on her belt, being a little big for her at the moment, was a gift from the twins as well. -Third as she is cursed by the Locked Heart spell and hosting Almatra. Her grimoire has lost color as her latent magic gets locked away along with her feelings.. She reaches for her heart, knowing that it beats strongly but without passion. -Finally, as someone freed from both devil and curse. Scars of the past mark her body but she doesn't mind them as she also wears with her reminders of a bright future. She is not like what she once was, but she is more than happy as she is. (So are her friends~!)

Her heart has broken and mended many times over the years. And though one of her loves is not living beside her and the other is weighed by great tragedy, Josele loves Morgen and Nacht equally.

I didn't expect Josele to become as popular as she did on my blog. And maybe it's because I'm constantly making content for her... But there is so much to her story and she's so full of potential. Some of my friends have inspired thoughts that I didn't consider before. Her story/character arc has remained largely the same since her initial creation but the details of her life have evolved so much.

I'm so glad with how Josele is turning out. How her relationships with the Fausts and the Bulls and even other people's ocs have been turning out. I'm happy that people are able to understand what I'm trying to get across with her. Sometimes I worry that I do too much with her but then my friends are like "lol, good for her" or "hey I like that idea."

While I may never do a multi-chaptered fic describing her whole journey, I hope the fics I do write convey her story well (and what she shares with Morgen, Nacht, and her other friends). I admit, I need to feature her being cursed more often since that's how she's meant to be most of the time the Bulls know her. It's just that my friends and I have been really into exploring her relationships and life (see her future kids with Nacht) after the curse is broken.

Hopefully I do get around to making more cursed-Josele content. I should also make more Grey Deer era stuff...

Thank you to everyone who has watched me create and write for Josele. To those who have helped me develop Josele with their own ideas. To those who have made a little Josele content of their own. And thank you to the people who simply show an interest in her character, it's a small thing with big impact.

Whatever becomes of Josele from here on out, I hope everyone is willing to stick around for that.

hii! do you have any particular songs you associate with diavolo? or any other jojo characters you like?

i really like heaven by talking heads, and it makes me think of pucci sometimes. i know you really like him, so maybe you'd be interested!

That's actually kind of difficult because when I get deeply obsessed with a character, whenever I listen to music damn near all songs remind me of them (my brain does that thing where I just imagine like AMVs of the character doing stuff when I listen to music). But I do have some I can name.

It might be obvious due to the jokes I've been making but Death Grips gives me strong Diavolo vibes in general LOL. Ride's lyrical and rapping style just scream "Diavolo" to me sometimes and I can't really give a clear reason why for some of it. Some specific examples include Exmilitary's "Beware", "Lord of the Game", and "Takyon" (the music video specifically reminds me of King Crimson for some reason), The Money Store's "I've Seen Footage", No Love Deep Web's "No Love" and "Lock Your Doors", The Powers That B's "Up My Sleeves" and "Centuries of Damn", Bottomless Pit's "BB Poison", and Year of the Snitch's "Black Paint".

Sugar by System of a Down is a big one. I also get some Diavolo vibes from The Wall by Pink Floyd due to it thematically centering around a man who builds a "wall" around himself to separate him from the rest of society. BLOODMONEY and I Disagree by Poppy and the album Caligula by Lingua Ignota come to mind (DO YOU DOUBT ME TRAITOR especially).

Also the album Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G reminds me of him a little bit, though that might just be because it talks about gang violence and I've been listening to it a lot lately... Say The Name by clipping is pretty Diavolo to me as well. Also Everybody's Fool by Evanescence reminds me of Diavolo from Trish's perspective (if citing an Evanescence song isn't too embarrassing lol).

Hey, I'm in the process of writting a fic and I have a quick question here for the monsuno fandom before I go insane:

Where the hell does Dax's lingo come from and Where I can find a reference

Like, Dax's type of speech is almost iconic, there's no other character in the series that talks like he does, is basically a 'Me privilege' at this point and I fk love it bc this little son of a muffin has such swag and personality (As far as personality goes in the series, lol) and I'm sitting in front of my drafts getting psychic damage when I get to his dialogues because it's hit on one line and then miss it on the next three when I'm trying to replicate how he talks!!! TTwTT

Full disclosure: it has been, like, a year since I last sat down and watched the show. I may not remember fine details

From what I remember, Dax has the weirdest combination of Cockney English and Australian accent that I've ever heard. The stranger part is that Keith Silverstein can, in fact, do a decent Cockney English accent (he voiced Speedwagon in the English dub of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure)

Apart from that, I think Dax spoke in a relatively casual way. He's prone to giving nicknames to others or shortening names (the only example that's currently coming to me is him calling Dr Suno "Doc")

He also calls people "bandito". This is an Italina loanword that means "bandit". It seems to be slang from Central America and Mexico. So, someone from England or Australia wouldn't typically use the word. Strangely, it doesn't feel jarring to hear him say it

He also has a habit of saying "bleazers" and "bleazing heck", as exclamations of surprise. These are non-swears acting as swear words. The show does this quite a bit with "crag" (as its substitute f-word). "Bleazing heck" reminds me of "bloody hell", which is an exclamation that crops up a lot in both British and Australian English. "Bleazers" is not a word I've ever heard outside of this show but the way Dax uses it reminds me of how I might swear when I'm surprised (often an emphatic f-word, I am Australian)

So, from what I remember, Dax has a rather eclectic vocabulary. It's a mishmash of Cockney/Australian with a sprinkling of Central American/Mexican and non-swears
