I've also realised I'm way faster drawing on paper because I don't get hung up on imperfections as much so I think that's how I'll draw comics.... and all it took was like. 4 months of figuring out how I want to draw the characters LOL

sooooo,,, spanish jumpscares you i guess!
that is a catholic prayer we say before communion if i remember correctly. it is meant to absolve you from any minor sin you may have commited in the time between last mass and the current one, yknow, things like lying or thinking "bad things" etc etc. It is half of it; the rest directly names virgin mary and such so i didnt find it necessary to add it, it would have killed the vibe imo.
I wish i could add a translation, but honestly im not sure wheter if it gets used in other countries and/or how many variations of it exists, and i dont want to mess anything up, sorry :(
on a second note, this was the "comic" i mentioned! halfway into rendering it, it just kind of didnt feel right anymore, so i reused a panel i liked a lot :] there are like two or three more of those, that of course will get their own full drawings!

i love the idea if lambert just, fully losing themselves to the concepts of good and bad. they were raised a certain way, destined to guide and protect, to be compassionate, kind and understanding. but on their pure rage, having accepted towws deal without batting an eye, they are forced to destroy their morals, and the constant guilt that comes from that confuses them so much, for now toww praises them for the bloodshed, but the doctrine in which they were raised persists on their mind and hurts them like a bitch but their actual god is there and doesnt condemn anything but they are so sure they would be considered a monster by their past flock and dklnsfuenvm

#ralsei#deltarune#charcoal#(digital charcoal)#i took almost the exact same approach to this as i do with my traditional work#every time i made an addition i merged all of my layers so i couldn't go back and change anything#i would've done it all on one layer if the blending tools were more realistic but alas#a good workaround i found was working on a low transparency layer on top of my drawing and then blending there before merging#not exactly like paper still but closer :D#anyway i had no idea what to draw so i just drew a ralsei face and then kept rendering it#just playing with tools

#Hhhhhh this is such a good episode.#I don't have any particular strong feeling for Fukuzawa nor Ranpo but this is a very good episode.#The pacing is great the tension and ease are well distributed as much as action and exposition are.#The animation is spectacular and detailed. The drawings beautiful. The imperfect black and white is original‚ compelling and eyecatching#Truly something that shows the animators were given budget and enough time to really think it through. Please more of this#Off to more personal notes I clearly remember the moment in my dorm room I watched the bsd anime–#come back for the first time after three years and the reveal of the untold origins novel being adapted that came with it.#It's such a sweet memory.
