I think this may genuinely be the most beautiful image I’ve ever seen in my entire life. This is Cueva de las Manos (Spanish for Cave of the Hands) and it is believed to have been created over the course of centuries from 7300 BC to 700 AD.

I just can’t stop thinking about these hands. I can’t stop thinking about the flesh of the hands, these real human hands, pressed against cool rock. And then I look at the whole and it’s just this wave of hands all waving, saying hello. From thousands of years ago, from across times these people came together to say “hi, hello, we were here, we’re still here, you’re here too, we’re all here together” and the time stopping reality of their existence has literally brought me to tears.

I love that Sheldon decided to have coitus with Amy while wearing his melting Rubik’s Cube shirt…which I bought on Etsy…and have been wearing for the last several days!!
