At first it was just gonna be Waxer and his Swampert but like @formvienthusiast, bestie, you are SO right about that dragonair! So of course I had to add da baby (i say baby but waxer is hella smart so that thing has an eviolite and can shred opponents lmao)

And then you got me thinking about Boil's team and I've always pictured him with a crobat but I can also totally see him with a togekiss so maybe he's got a flying dual type team? Featuring togekiss? I just think he'd be really good with those two friendship evolutions

what i actually love about kazuki is that he cannot dress, like at all. i don't think he could put a good outfit together even if his life depended on it.

just look at his shoes! are they hiking boots? are they snow boots? are they some sort of construction boot? i don't know and I don't even think he knows (he doesn't care. they're functional and thats all that matters!) and i find that so endearing about him.

IMAGINE if he could cook, clean, AND dress??? he would be too powerful. God said "you can pick 2" and tbh he picked the right choices because rei likes him just fine, fashionably illiterate as he may be, and thats what matters most.

RGHHH I TYPED OUT AN ANSWER TO THIS BUT I WAS AT AN EVENT AND TUMBLR DELETED MY RESPONSE-

okay so. everyone works at the pizzaplex, but only Sun, Moon, and Lunar are related. Earth recently arrives to the plex and is given charge of a performance to boost revenue for the theatre; the daycare department isn't making enough profit to justify the money poured in, and management is threatening to shut it down in a few months if it doesn't improve.

The creator just so happens to have a studio rented out (how convenient...), and Earth calls up all the other animatronics in their department to join in and help with setting up an orchestral performance (fun fact: all of them have theatre capabilities programmed into their base code, so they all have the ability to perform and play instruments!), which they do, albeit reluctantly. Finding recruits is fairly difficult considering there are no human staff and only 5 animatronics, but they make do and ask folks from other divisions to pitch in as well.

(Solar and Eclipse do exist in this au, but their backgrounds are a bit...different from the cannon security breach shows.)

Assigning the rottmnt band instrument because i can and im qualified:

Raph would be low brass, i feel like trombone would be fun, i don’t know how effectively he could march with a sousaphone. On second thought, he could march with a whole ass tuba, he’s certainly strong enough.

Donnie would play and march clarinet, you can’t change my mind. He would make his bo staff be able to turn into a clarinet somehow, because I think it would be funny. Also this man would never play brass I mean have you seen that terrible embouchure, my good sir, you aren’t meant to puff out your cheeks like that, he’s just making fun of leo here

In other news, Leo would play trumpet, he’s got the right vibes. He could march mellophone though, he’s got the capacity to.

Mikey would play alto sax, though I think he’d be on color guard during marching season.

April’s got tenor sax, again vibes.
