starting off my february starstruck dee ship-a-ganza with the big one. they do seem like... the obvious answer, huh...?
they have far and away the most development together and the strongest personal relationship, both in what i've posted, and in her story overall! would kill or die for each other in a heartbeat. i would be absolutely lying if i said i'd never thought about it, but i'm not 100% convinced my thoughts lead me to romance specifically...
they're already pretty insane about each other! starstruck in particular is madly in love with bandee in every way it's possible to be. loves him the way he loves kirby, i think (pretty sure he does not know this. might be shocked to learn it.)
however she's daft as bricks, so he'd have to initiate, and i can't really imagine anything in their relationship would change.... so he'd have to mostly want The Title or the Performance one way or another, and i'm not super sure he would!
it's been a while since i tried looking, but i did hear that something like this happens last year and over time started to think, "was it a fluke?" bc no one posted footage or caps of it then, and i aimed for a completionist run in my first playthrough. turns out it's real! and definitely shines a new light on a character that, for most other types of playthroughs, will not give this much emotion! EDIT: transcript now included, and some stillshots under the cut

Marie: Henry, this is the man who kept you from doing the right thing tonight. Kill him.
[0:15]
Forrest: Henry, you don’t have to do this. If you’ve not killed anyone yet, there’s still time to make the right decision.

Out of shot: (Gunshots) Henderson Police! Freeze!
Marie: No! Henry, get out of there!
tired of people who want pjo movie references in the disney+ show. "logan lerman should've been-" i don’t care. "poker face in the casino-" actually i hope ms. gaga keeps her entire discography miles away from it. i don't care move on
“why are you always only ever talking about, like, spider-man 2099’s childhood and mental health issues instead of posting panels of him Biting People” uh. because... spider-man 2099 the comic book... also does this.?
anyways the show removed one of the best parts of the books, which was that alina was fucking haunted by the darkling. there is nothing more interesting about their relationship than his existence as a ghost inside the halls of her mind
fav chuuya trivia: he’s a lightweight and a wine collector. combine it with the fact that poisons a weakness for him, ability wise, and too much alcohol is in fact poison. he chooses that often.
bonus: combine that with the fact that dazai’s coming of age came with going to a bar, and i don’t know what that means

I.
My dear, even though you treat me kindly,
I'm stubborn. After we parted last night,
I went drinking and berated some weakling. This morning,
Waking up, I remember your kindness
And sadly reflect on my vile behavior. And now,
I, a total fraud, will here confess that, without shame,
Stripped of all dignity, and therefore lacking honesty—
I was urged on by my own illusions, raving mad.
[...]
III.
In this world we sadly live in like this, your heart—
Don't let it grow stubborn my dear
Because I hope for intimacy with you
Your heart— don't let it grow stubborn my dear.

Hi! I don't know if you check your notes on here, but I added some information about visceral body fat to your tutorial zine that I think would be really helpful for people. It's a factor that's always left out of the conversation when people talk about the appearance of body fat and I think that's just because nobody knows about it!
hi! i appreciate your input! just wanted to clarify something in what your tags mentioned. i understand that my tutorial wasn’t very inclusive towards amab body types (and that fatpos tutorials usually lean toward afab representation, which i agree) but that’s mainly because i was 17 when i made that post and didn’t have as wide a lens artistically or observationally as i do now. i’m working on creating a sequel tutorial including the difference between visceral/sebaceous fat, and i loved your addition on it. i definitely didn’t intend to exclude fat amab folks from my post, that just wasn’t something i felt knowledgeable enough to speak on, drawing from my lived experience. obviously to improve my work i’ve studied more extensively since then, and i hope my next tutorial will be full of more updated info and new contexts. <3 but of course thanks for adding it on, all of the additions (except for fatphobic people) on that post are wonderful! i’ll make sure to include this in the next one ^^/
Why can people get away with horrendously overcharging older games
I don’t care how popular a game was, there is no reason a game that came out over a decade ago should cost more than twice as much now, and it especially shouldn’t be more than games coming out right now.
sure sure Rick is really fucked up and should eat glass, cool cool— can we please discuss poor fucking morty for a second?
the way he clung to robo-Rick, literally let go of the ledge to go die with the version of his grandfather who he felt actually loved him— a version only capable because he was forced to love him. programmed to.
the way this kinda reframes solaricks for me in a particularly devastating way. obviously Rick wasn’t a robot at that point, (he was only one for the morty sun ep) but I’m talking more specifically about how this frames morty.
“you’re my grandpa, Rick.” and what a spectacularly shitty grandpa he is. “Rick and morty, a hundred years.” and god, morty truly seems to be keeping his word even to his absolute detriment. and it honestly hurts to watch at this point— the way morty keeps clinging to Rick and trusting him despite the traumatizing shit he pulls as easily as he breathes. from a plot point it almost doesn’t make sense, but when considered with the context of who morty was and who he is now…. who else could morty turn to?? who else could morty be? who else does he have but this abrasive, dependent monster who loiters around as his grandfather??? whether he likes it or not— Rick is the only constant in his life. Rick is the only grandpa he’s ever known— all other family is replaced, recycled, and buried. he’s a terrible consistency that drags morty down far more than ever raise him high, but a consistency nonetheless. I’m not saying that morty couldn’t do/be anything else without Rick— but from mortys perspective???
it’s almost iswm’s one year anniversary and all I can think about is captaineer one year later type scenarios. Wonder if they’ve healed, if they fully trust each other, if the weight of their choices has lessened.
has it hit yuuta yet that if megumi is gojo’s kid then he is kind of megumi’s extremely distant uncle? Bet he’d reach for that to explain away his extremely normal protective attachment
#seaglassgardens
Not really, because he doesn’t consciously think of himself as gojo’s relative. Like, he’s aware that he is gojos super distant relative but the connection is so attenuated that he’s not really thinking of gojo as an actual part of his family, so it hasn’t hit him. But he would take literally any explanation to justify his extremely normal protective attachment to Megumi at this point
