Eldest siblings who are the mouthpiece for not just you but your siblings. Who take the brunt when someone doesn’t call, who is lumped into the lectures, who feel equal parts resentment and compassion. Anger and sadness. Hurt from many sides but cannot express that. Those who are so far into the Reliable or Accountable. The y’all when it’s not your fault. The both of you when you do everything right. Who get lectured on the phone for something your sibling Didn’t do. Those for whatever reason are stuck at home and cannot move out. Who don’t have reliable transport and rely on rides either from family or ride share. Who is and the best for siblings and also wish to sometimes be far far away so you can finally feel like you are not part of a collective.

We’re gonna be okay.

#it’s too damn early for this lol #the feeling of if I had just done it then it would’ve gotten done #vs wanting so badly for someone else to pick up the emotional and social burden for once #resentment and compassion #older sibling stuff at least for me #we aren’t close and that’s due to first my depression earlier and now theirs #and I want them to thrive and be happy and safe and secure #but god do I wish sometimes my parents would stop looking to me to be the middleman the one who always calls and asks and confirms and does #I wish I could get away with not speaking or being blunt and short and not having to carry conversations #to always feel like I have to fill in the gaps #I try and I understand and I see ppl close with their siblings and I know it’s my fault but too many times I just want to not #not I wish you were never born but I wish I never was

#straight up machiavellian #it's apparently caused trouble for absolutely everyone but it's no wonder why 😭 damn #mar's midnight rambles #it's. they picked electives that overlapped On Purpose so that management would Have to sort it out #and theyd be able to pick th electives they wanted that they originally did not make it in to with their grades #which has in turn caused so much trouble at management that basically no one got subject changes #even the people who really ended up with overlapping subjectives #and this might actually cause trouble for people graduating this year lol #as well as trouble for themselves bcs theyve signed up for classes a year too early #and they don't have the necessary knowledge to tackle them yet #wellllllllllll #we shall see how it plays out but people r really angry lol

This is technically a Diana's age poll but I framed it partially around Julia's rescue because that's the event I need to contextualize and whether or not Diana is a thing yet is p important for my purposes. I would keep the Pérez run and postcrisis continuity in mind when answering this bc that's when this is relevant but I'd keep in mind that even though Diana is very young there (like early 20s) we don't know I don't think if she ages differently as a child (esp as a themysciran AND being made from clay) and in some versions she is older than she looks and was made earlier

finally watching minute's how i became immortal vid and wow i completely forgot that early clown and leo had gold trim sets

all of the previously untranslated "dear society" suddenly got uploaded to mangakakalot a couple weeks ago out of no where so yes i DID read it and yes i DID cry doing so. several times in fact. i really liked it.

#(these tags contain spoilers)#a lot of the visuals were genuinely so cool too #like the way metaphorical immediacy was used to symbolize emotions was just perfect #i especially loved this one scene in the early chapters where hanakos telling kanesho who she likes #and is drawn as if shes stabbing him in the chest #and there isnt a cut back to ''reality'' for it- its fully depicted as if thats whats going on even though the audience clearly #just a metaphor #sometimes it was literally what was going on top of being a metaphor though. like when he just like #casually took out his old school uniform and burned it in some random ladys fire #the timeskip was also funny bc he was so ''damn. i hate society but i participate in it. curious.''#also i like how hanako wasnt the wife foreshadowed at the start #like his initial crush on here was obvs pretty dependent but not in an unusual way for young teens lol #but it shows that that doesnt really matter passed highschool. like he said himself his world grew #i also really liked mizuho he was just a really cool guy #i fully expected him to be a bait and switch douchebag but he really wasnt. he was just cool and supportive #even when he got dumped! like #kanesho apologizing bc he likes girls and cant force himself to be in a relationship w a guy #(and mizuho at the time interpreters this to mean hes a lesbian)#his response is just. you have nothing to apologize for....#ALSO a big fan of kino he was just such a great mentor for kanesho #obviously w different experiences like kino says. hes a gay man and kanesho is a trans guy so its different #but theres overlap and solidarity. they were both unfairly ostracized at school and kino was such a great support bc hes BEEN THERE #when he graduates and leaves his uniform for kanesho w the note ''now its your turn''#dude. unreal. screaming crying throwuing up #loved the school nurse too she was just so supportive and nice. thank you school nurse for being cool. sorry i forgor your name
