Tumblr media
your world is loud.
from the moment the favored could see it, this was clear. it was loud, filling with screaming machinery that left trails of dust and buildings so tall it made their neck hurt to view.
it was bright, with lights that shone through the darkest of nights, reflecting off glass and the speeding machines and reflecting reflecting reflecting back into eyes to sting. your sun is so harsh, so unpleasant and overbearing, hot instead of warm and burning instead of soothing.
it’s cluttered, wires suspending from towers and running along your roads. glittering signs point out things they can’t read, the sacred script only giving them a headache. at night, they can find no comfort in the stars, something that sends them into a panic the first time they see it. it’s not clouds, it’s not anything worldly blocking their view, it’s that they’re gone, the ones they can see washed out and faded. they wonder how anybody can live like this, and if you blessed them with a night sky of such beauty because yours was so…
they can recognize some of it, the plants and trees and flowers, wild or not, call to them in recognition, but so much is frighteningly new. the style of the clothing, the kinds of jewelry on the people you pass. try as they might, they can’t locate a single vision anywhere, not even on you. they wonder if people hide them, like during the vision hunt decree, but even at home you don’t reach for it, you start fires with odd devices and plants grow slowly, the air and stone unmoving to your desires. you spill drinks. you freeze water using more strange machinery.
it’s so strange, because they can feel your world brim with elemental energy. their vision beams, shining so brightly with all of the potential suspended in your world. no matter how poor their elemental sight, your world glows, the air itself carrying a blue tinge. they try, in a world without visions, to use theirs, and their power springs in an instant to their fingertips. it dances across their hands, enveloping when they barely intended for a small spark, a small flame jumping across the dry grass of unspent energy in your world. they extinguish it quickly, tightening their hand into a fist to stamp it out before they damage something, and something like awe shines in their eyes. there’s so much, their vision so eagerly lapping it up, and you.. don’t use it?
you have machines for everything, devices to harness the wind and waves, boats to travel across water at impossible speeds, strange flying machines that you can hear from the ground, mere specks in the sky, and yet… you have yet to capture them in their most essential forms. you speak of elements, sometimes, but you use different names and there seems to be many, many more. you say that the air holds ‘nitrogen’, that you seal things with foil of ‘aluminum’, and you even say that water itself is composed of ‘hydrogen’ and ‘oxygen’, something that they struggle to understand. how can water be made of something else? how can hydro users bend more than one thing to their will? how can anemo wielders command such a broad spectrum of things? you speak of other elements in the earth, and though some are familiar, such as iron and gold, others’ names hold no meaning. you say potassium is in fruit, that there’s multicolored rocks called bismuth and poisonous liquids named mercury. you say that there’s 118 elements, when all they’ve known is 7.
it takes them a while to come to terms with that one, and even then they settle on it being inherently outside of their understanding. after all, they are in a world crafted by a god.
speaking of..
there are multiple religions in your world?
and it’s not as if they’re different ways or interpretations of the same god, no, it’s entirely different ones. not in the ways of teyvat, where everybody’s aware of all seven and follows the one of their nation, not even that much. they’re wildly different, with different policies and ways of worship, some with multiple gods and others with just one. some are strict, ways of lifestyle chosen and laid out, whilst others are lax. and even within the same religion, it varies from one place of worship to another? somehow? some religions specify clothing, disallowing certain parts of the body to be exposed- which they can understand to an extent. it’s when they learn of religions that police love, ones that write in harsh lines where and when and who somebody can love, that they need to take a step away.
so many parts of your world are confusing. so bright, flashy, new, rumbling in the walls and barreling down the roads with nothing but a scream to warn. lights are everywhere, every sign and post and building vying for your attention. this they could understand, as who wouldn’t wish to be the object of your interest, but the most dizzying fact that they learn during their stay is that you are no different than anybody else. everybody is subject to these sights, everybody is pulled in by a particular shade or cut of cloth, everybody is startled by the bright lights and loud announcements. everybody. you’re lost in the ocean of people so different and yet endlessly identical, nobody’s eyes lingering on you or calling your name specifically. when you step into a crowd, nobody notices you, save for the select, precious few to whom you are known. you have to carve out a place in your world, go out of your way to make sure your name, your face, your interests are kept in somebody’s mind, and even then people dare to forget.
that’s the worst of all. overwhelming lights, sounds, smells: nothing. it makes sense that they’d be out of their depth in a world built for the divine. but to know that you’re not receiving any of the recognition you deserve, to know that nobody thinks highly of your work in teyvat, to know that you were kind enough descend and build yourself a new life amongst the world, and to share your creation across said world, only for nobody to appreciate it. nobody thinks twice. people dare to complain over something you’ve hand-crafted, over something that, even after completion, you revisited with a traveller, doing your best to save one sibling and fix the problems that had cropped up in your wake. you’ve done so much, you’ve cared after it so lovingly, and you boosted the power of some of those you granted a vision to. as somebody who had experienced this love first hand, the favored could not find the words to express their anger at the situation. your world was wrong, it was cruel, and though they found beauty in the most hidden of places, it didn’t change the fact that it didn’t love you.
it only strengthened their desire to take you back to teyvat, where you would be truly loved.

watched the wilbur lore and tommy constantly asking wil to tell him where he’s going and wilbur not answering has the same energy as fics where one character decides to distance themselves from another and the other blows up about shouldn’t they have a say in whether or not it’s good for them to have a relationship with the other like the whole ending lore isn’t the same energy but that one bit is
it’s like something like wanting to spare the other from some truth or reality but just hurting them instead

Another Update Regarding "No Fandom" tags
AO3 Tag Wranglers recently began testing processes for updating canonical tags (tags that appear in the autocomplete and the filters) that don’t belong to any particular fandom (commonly known as No Fandom tags). We have already begun implementing some of the decisions made during the earliest discussions. By the time this post is published, you may have already noticed some changes we have made.  Several canonical tags are slated to be created or renamed, and we will also be adjusting the subtag and metatag relationships between some tags to better aid Archive users in filtering.  Please keep in mind that many of these changes are large and require a lot of work to identify and attach relevant tags, so it will likely take some time to complete. We ask that you please be patient with us while we work! While we will not be detailing every change we make under the new process, we will be making periodic posts with updates on those changes we believe are most likely to prove helpful for users looking to tag or filter works with the new or revised tags and to avoid confusion as to why changes are being made.
New Canonicals!
1. COVID-19
Due to long-standing demand, we will be creating a number of new canonicals related to COVID-19. These canonicals include:
COVID-19
COVID-19 Pandemic, which will be subtagged to both COVID-19 and Pandemics
Alternate Universe - No COVID-19, which will be subtagged to Alternate Universe
Post-COVID-19 Pandemic
COVID-19 Lockdown
Created During COVID-19 Lockdown
How to Use These To Filter For/Filter Out Works Tagged as relating to COVID-19 ❌ Filtering Out: To filter out all works that use tags referring to COVID-19, the COVID-19 pandemic, or the COVID-19 Lockdown, add COVID-19 to the “Other tags to exclude” field in the works filter. This will also exclude works making use of the subtag COVID-19 Pandemic. If you’d also like to filter out COVID-19 Lockdown, you would need to exclude that tag as well.
☑️ Filtering For: Add COVID-19 to the “Other tags to include” field in the works filter. This will also automatically include the works making use of the subtags COVID-19 Pandemic. If you wish to filter for only the pandemic or the lockdown, you can do so by including either COVID-19 Pandemic or COVID-19 Lockdown only.
2. Isekai and Transmigration
Given the similarities of the concepts, we will be creating a single canonical tag to cover both concepts to allow for easier filtering. Additionally, we will also be creating a canonical for the concept of Reverse Isekai and Reverse Transmigration. This tag will be subtagged to Isekai and Transmigration.
As with the COVID-19 canonicals above, you will be able to use these tags in the works filter to filter for or filter out these concepts. If you filter for/out Isekai and Transmigration it will filter for/out both Isekai and Transmigration as well as Reverse Isekai and Reverse Transmigration. If you would like to only filter for/out Reverse Isekai and Reverse Transmigration, you can just filter for that tag instead.
3. Mommy Kink
This oft-requested canonical will be canonized as Mommy Kink.
4. There Was Only One Bed
The ever-popular trope is now getting its very own canonical and all relevant synonym tags from Sharing a Bed will be moved over to this canonical, which will be canonized as: There Was Only One Bed.
Renaming Outdated Canonicals!
The Archive has been around for a long time, which means there are a lot of canonicals that make use of old and outdated terminology.
6. Asperger Syndrome
One of these canonicals is Asperger Syndrome, which is an outdated medical term which is no longer acceptable, and so will be de-canonized and made a synonym of Autism Spectrum.
7. Fantastic Racism
In the early days of the archive, the tag Fantastic Racism was canonized as a tag that was meant to represent Racism specifically concerning Fantasy or Science Fiction races (e.g. Elves, Orcs, Goblins, Vulcans, Phoenocats, etc.). To correct this particular issue, this tag will be renamed to Fantasy and Fictional Setting Racism to clarify the actual purpose of the tag and will remain subtagged to Racism. Fantastic Racism in particular is a case of exceptionally poor choice of phrasing for what should have been a relatively straightforward concept. The tag wrangling committee is working hard to continue to develop a robust and sustainable collaborative discussion format for making decisions in regards to the canonization of canonicals which are not specific to any fandom in the hopes of avoiding such mistakes in the future.
Reorganization of the Gender Tree and Genderswap/Genderbend Freeform Canonicals!
We will also be re-organizing a number of tags related to the concept of Gender in the coming weeks. The early days of the Archive saw the canonization of a lot of similar concepts which makes searching and filtering for these concepts needlessly complicated and difficult to navigate.
To help eliminate one such complication, we will be merging Genderbending, Genderswap, Gender or Sex Swap, and Sexswap into a single canonical and renaming this new canonical to Changes to Gender or Sex.
Similarly, we will be making a number of other similar renames to bring related canonicals in line with this change:
Alternate Universe - Always a Different Sex will become Alternate Universe - Always a Different Gender or Sex.
Canon Genderbending will be renamed to Canon-Typical Changes to Gender or Sex
We will also create a new canonical for the concept of temporary gender or sex changes: Temporary Changes to Gender or Sex.
Other gender-related changes freeform tags we will be making in the next few weeks include:
Transgender, Transexual, and Alternate Universe - Trans will be de-canonized and made synonyms of the Trans canonical.
A canonical will be created for Medical Transition.
These are just some of the freeform tag changes being implemented. While we won’t be announcing every change, you can expect similar updates in the future as we continue to work toward improving the Archive experience. You can also check out some of the other recent changes we have made in our previous update on No Fandom tags. Feel free to follow us on Twitter @ao3_wranglers or keep an eye on this Tumblr for future announcements. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue our work!
(From time to time, ao3org posts announcements of recent or upcoming wrangling changes on behalf of the Tag Wrangling Committee.)

Yandere Diluc x GN Reader Isekai AU
Warnings: minor mentions of death, kidnapping, captivity, !!!yandere!!!, its hinted that Diluc and reader will get married
A/N: this is written more like a long prompt than a ficlet if im gonna be honest, but I liked the premise so :)
——————
That man had looked at you with such disdain.
You had seen it, heard it, hell, you had even read about it, despite how much you regretted doing that now.
This was a world of a romance novel; one you remembered reading before you suddenly passed out and woke up in a body that wasn’t yours and screamed in a voice you didn’t recognize. It was horrifying, to say the least.
It wasn’t until you had picked up a letter on your very nice and very much not yours nightstand that was addressed to a name you recognized from hours of reading over it. You had become the villain of a borderline reverse harem novel. A typical throw away antagonist, someone that didn’t even get to see the end of the book before they were killed off. Your entire purpose was to make trouble for the protagonist, Aether, and act as a catalyst for the love of the second male lead, Diluc Ragnvindr. Who, at the time, was still your fiancé.
The universe was merciful to you, however, as you arrived at a point in the novel in which you still had the opportunity to avoid your fate. The road to death for the character you had unfortunately possessed had all started at a tea party, of all places. And as if that alone wouldn’t be humiliating enough, that tea party was also where the villain would find their first love.
In the novel, the villain was meant to be introduced to the aloof and unfriendly Diluc during a social gathering. Because of his reputation as the roguishly handsome young master of Duke Ragnvindr’s estate and his first son, “you” immediately gained an intense infatuation with the man who was repulsed by your love (obviously, his love is reserved for the main character, so of course he would hate anyone else who even dared to breathe near him). It was the unreciprocated love between the pining villain and the cold and emotionally scarred Diluc that began your path to demise.
Actually, you remembered that the most dutiful readers of the book had actually dubbed that part of the book the Garden Scene (TM). It was the moment when Diluc was driven into his own garden to hide from the preening of his admirers (which included you, as much as it made you want to tear your own hair out).
And there, under the shade of some kind of stupid magical blooming tree, he reunited with the protagonist and his first love/childhood friend, Aether.
The best thing? It hadn’t even happened yet.
That meant that you hadn’t met the second male lead, you hadn’t been a complete and utter ass to the angelic protag for no reason, and you could avoid the whole death-by-sword-wielding-love-interest fate altogether!
Plus, the only way you would die is if you tried to get in the way of the love between Aether and Diluc; which, obviously wouldn’t happen, you certainly weren’t falling in love with him anytime soon. Even if he was rumored to be the most handsome man in all of Teyvat. You weren’t willing to risk death for a pretty face.
You resolved that you’d do your best to avoid the hell out of him. You’d even avoid the hell out of his brother, who was mentioned in the book as another heartthrob that fell for the golden-eyed main character, just to make sure you got your good ending. If you just managed to not follow the plot, you could go on to live a peaceful life free of the heartbreak and love triangles that never seemed to end in the book.
Unfortunately, your plan to avoid your would-be murderer for as long as you could failed pretty quickly. After all, you were the villain and a noble, so it’s no surprise that you were forced to attend every even slightly significant social function.
You got so close to the peaceful end you were looking for. You had even sent a letter to the royal family requesting for the engagement between you and Diluc to finally be called off.
…So why?
Why were you here? Why were you hands tied behind your back? Why were your clothes the only thing separating you from wandering hands, those that clutched at you and pulled you closer to the man they belonged to? Why were you suffocating in a tight, hot embrace, in the arms of a man who was meant to, was destined to, hate you with everything he had? And why, was he looking at you with those pained, adoring eyes, which bore into you as you squirmed in his hold?
Diluc’s expression was one of guilt as he spoke. “I never meant for things to happen this way. I never thought…that I’d feel something like this. I’ve never felt something like this. Not even for him.”
You continued to tug at your binds, purposely looking away from blood red eyes that you knew held guilt, but not remorse. No remorse for the silk that was holding steady against your weak struggles. No remorse for the assault the combination of cologne and firewood was having on your senses, with him so unbearably close to you.
His hand slid onto your face gently, cupping it, momentarily stopping your struggles and making you freeze in place. Diluc crouched down so that he was looking you in the eye and then bent his knee to where it rested on the ground as his eyes roamed your face. You had no choice but to look into those crimson eyes, that now looked too bright as the light from the fireplace seemed to make them come alive. The pure emotion in them was now even more obvious, as the color became brighter than it had ever looked before, swirling with emotion in his irises. It reminded you of the flames he wielded. Your stomach twisted in your gut.
“I never thought I’d be willing to go this far to keep you. Please, forgive me.”
He pulled a chain out from underneath the bed you had been laid upon, and clicked a shackle onto you ankle with gentle hands.
He looked up at you and smiled, a soft, almost shy smile. The rare sight was enough to make his already unnaturally handsome face glow in the warm fire light of the room. You couldn’t bring yourself to enjoy being the one receiving such a loving and devoted look.
“It’s only until the wedding, (Y/n). I promise. Just to make sure you’re safe and where you need to be.”
A hysterical sob escaped your chest as he tugged off your binds and pushed you back onto the soft sheets, looming over you while pulling the covers over your limp body and caressing your head as you wept.

i promised scara brainrots, here we go! slightly angsty, but more on the fluff side this time (surprisingly) and pretty self-indulgent! this is long lmao
✤ she/her
SPOILERS FOR 3.3 ARCHON QUEST!
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ Reverse Isekai AU (becoming besties with a fictional character- wait, why is he here)
Imagine being in a fit of tears after playing through the Archon Quest. It's always been known that the narrative behind Scaramouche—Kunikuzushi, Kabukimono, Balladeer- just him, is tragic. But boy, with the way everything fell into place, he was meant for tragedy, it's awful.
It's difficult to focus on the characters' dialogue when you're busy trying to see through the blurriness of your eyes, but you manage. You hear him say something to the Traveler, and there shows up a choice box like always. Paying no mind to it, as you are occupied with sniffing and catching your breath, you press whatever.
He mentions ceasing, as what the trailer for version 3.3 entailed, and he's gone, and- wait. Did your game crash? Why is it frozen on a particular scene? Huh, your device shut down- your progress!?
Alas, you're not in the mood to lament over that when you can just spill woe over the story for the mean time. So you do just that, weep and roll around in your bed kicking your feet 'cause wow, yes, the guy's evil and all- but damn! His life is founded on nothing but angst! When you pull for him in game, you'll be placing him in the teapot with only the finest of comforts availa— OUCH!?
To your pain and confusion, something drops onto you from above, crushing your back as that something eventually topples out of your bed with a loud cuss. Wait a minute, was that a voice-? You take a peek and start laughing. Ahahaha, no, impossible, why- that only happens in fanfiction! Yet, his demanding question that reaches your ears in real time only serves to remind you that this is real.
“What the hell are you laughing at, you puny mortal? Answer my question or die where you stand!” AHAHAHA YOU'RE TRIPPIN'!
News flash, you're not. Because all of a sudden you are being pinned on the bed, with a very angry little man above you that doesn't seem to be joking around with what he said about killing you.
Holy smokes, it's supposed to be impossible but no, he's right there. On top of you. If you were reading some kind of e rated fanfiction in ao3, you would've screamed because hey he's looking pretty handsome right now but- woah, woah, calm dOWN SIR YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR ANSWERS!
As expected, Scaramouche does not believe an ounce of what you say, but resigns to it. After all, he has already 'deleted' his existence in Teyvat, it'd only seem logical if he were to be transported in an entirely different world...
Now, as he is a smart guy, he very quickly deduces that you somehow know him. Oh boy, imagine telling him that he's someone from a game. At first, he'll laugh bitterly at it, saying something like 'of course. my misery was some kind of amusement, is it?' BRO mission therapy starts now. You're no Nahida, but still!
Now imagine him learning that he has 'fans'. Boy will be so confused like, fans what fans- do you mean those accessories orrrr-
He understands what you meant when you show him that he has a 'following', and he's pretty stumped. He only ever knew Haypasia, he had a single follower, but in this place- he had... tens of thousands? HUH? HUH??
As he's already been given a reality slap by the Traveler and Nahida, he's no longer in the mindset to be all god-like, but boy the temptation... until he realizes that he doesn't have any elemental powers. And he's become human. Oh boy.
When he realizes that he's breathing and has a heartbeat, dude stares at you for like a minute straight. Is this real? Look, look! He snatches your hand and holds it over his chest and- holy hell he's right, he has a beating heart.
Give him some space to process things, his mind is currently exploding right now.
It'll take him time to understand that he's loved as much as he is hated in this world. The latter he understands, but the former... oh, is this real? He still can't believe it, so you had to go through various social media platforms just to prove a point. He bares his eyes to numerous 'posts' that range from 'YO HE BETTER COME HOME I'LL TAKE GOOD CARE OF HIM', 'AHSDAKJHDJAKDHA HE'S SO HOT BARK BARK YEOAWOADSADH', and other more... flustering posts.
HE'S LOVED! Well, he's also hated, but he's LOVED! In all his confused snark, he asks you where you stand in those two groups. Bro's putting you on the spot, good luck.
If you manage to evade that question, you'll tell him that he's free to stay with you until he gets the ropes of this world. It'll be a bit difficult to adjust with someone new and yes you've screamed far too many times when he pops up somewhere in the house, completely still in disbelief that he's there, but it'll be alright.
When you first accompany him outside, you had to throw him in huge clothes just so that he won't be noticeable. Even if he was 'humanized', he still looks a lot like how he does in game, not to mention his voice. He dislikes hiding, but has to put up with it.
Bro highkey basks in the glory when you both go to a genshin convention and see all the love for him. It's the one time he gets to dress up in his Harbinger attire (though he admits he dislikes having connections with it after knowing the truth) and show himself without fear of hearing "YO ARE YOU SCARAMOUCHE? YOU LOOK LIKE THE REAL DEAL!" because cosplayers are a thing. When he finds out that he gets a 'redesign' he pesters you to buy him the outfit. How laughable, how can the OG guy not have his own made clothes in the game??? You cave of course.
He's still a smug lil shi- though, so he will say that he is the one and only 'Wanderer/Scaramouche' when asked in the convention. Your panicked screaming in the background is thoroughly enjoyed, please, continue giving a good show as he revels in all the attention. Before long, posts about him are scattering all around the internet and you lecture him about the mob on your door and the diehard "HE'S MINE!" fans that has sent threats in your social media. They still believe he's just a really good cosplayer, but still...
“Hah, what're you so scared of?” he'll just smirk in the middle of your lecture, “They won't be able to land a hand on you so long as I'm here.”
Cue malfunction. He knows what he's doing, isn't he? This smug piece of- you'll kick him back into the game if you could!
“Like hell you will. Even if you can, you won't do it. Your boring human life has only become interesting because I'm here.” + :P
DAMN, HE RIGHT THOUGH!
Tumblr media
ive always liked his character from the moment he appeared in that first event but now that his lore is fleshed out it's time to go ham >:D

🌶️🌶️ Jealousy-Jealousy: A New Banner version A2 (Albedo, Childe, Venti, Zhongli)
A new character banner is just around the corner and the excited you couldn't help but rave about how cool they are. Naturally, you pre-farmed materials and even spent moolah for a five-star weapon, claiming they deserve only the best of best (Meaning: four star weapons and artifacts are not allowed!! And let's not get started on the artifact stats! 😡).
Inside the world of Genshin, your bond ten boys couldn't help but feel jealous. The flames of jealousy fueled further when you used them to grind for the new character's items. How sickening was it to think that they have become stepping stones of your new favourite character?
The boys decided. When they materialize in your world, they will make sure to mark you and to indulge in their sinful fantasies of you. You are theirs and only theirs, after all.
But one night, to their surprise, their competitors were summoned along with them. How will the boys act? Will they fight with each other until one of them gets to have you all for themselves? Or will they work together in pleasing and glorifying your body?
Just like how you teamed them up in game.
Contents include [a brief scene introduction], and [the actual chilis].
Starring : Albedo, Childe, Venti, Zhongli (GangB.)
Tags / Warnings : 🌶️🌶️ [Chilis] Seggs; Scattered cuss words; The Archons calling each other by their Archon name; the boys being chatty in the first part; Implied rape; Petnames (if it bothers you); Somnophilia; Childe...respecting you???; Albedo making a "souvenir" 😏; Creampie; The boys being possessive; I might have given Zhongli a non-canon ability; Zhongli being a gentleman on the streets but a freak under the sheets; Albedo holding back 👀...for an experiment!; Anal (don't worry, you're vacated 👍🏼); Squirting; etc.; 👑/🖥️ [SAGAU/(Reverse) Isekai]; Based on the SAGAU/Reverse Isekai concept linked below but with chilis
Again, this post was done on mobile and I don't have anyone to beta this so if there are major minor mistakes, please forgive me. 😭
Future Plan : Version B1 Bennett??, Diluc Ragnvindr, Kaedehara Kazuha, Kaeya Alberich (Separate) - but I will post something else before B1: either a new one (ALHAITHAM, COME HOME BABY!!!) or from my backlog (Reimagined and rewritten. The ones drafted before I was separated with my PC... Yes, you read that right. I was separated with my precious PC 🥲)
Links : Pinned Post, JJ version A1 (Albedo / Childe / Venti / Zhongli) Separate, JJ Request (Venti), SAGAU/Reverse Isekai concept, A Good Experiment (Albedo, Childe, Diluc, Kaeya) Separate
Target audience is female (bodied) reader.
To whoever is reading, please enjoy.
-------------------------
Surrounding your bed, wordlessly judging each other, were the characters selected on your Party Setup screen. Albedo, Childe, Venti, and Zhongli were supposed to farm more items but the drowsy you were so exhausted that you fell asleep after selecting your line-up. The moment you stepped into dreamland was when the Genshin men materialized in your room, each hoping to have an intimate alone time with you but was gravely disappointed to learn three others came with them.
The clock continuously counted each passing second, its ticking the only sound echoing in the room. With a strum on his lyre, the first to break the deafening silence was Venti.
"Ehe~ I wonder what's everyone waiting for?" the bard asked innocently, yet they all knew what he exactly meant.
"Tch! For [your name]'s sake, I am not going to do the deed in front of other people," Childe quickly retorted.
"Oh?" Zhongli exclaimed in amusement. "Apologies. I assumed you to be the first to take advantage of this situation, Childe. Knowing you, I presumed you would wish us to watch you conquer [your name]."
Flabbergasted, Childe's mouth gaped like a fish. It was true that he was someone known to conquer the battlefield, winning victories even against the largest and strongest of preys. But this - this "battle" was you. And as someone who was taught some manners, Childe - Ajax - could not bring himself to just carelessly strip your vulnerable form while other vicious predators watched.
"Of course, it is something I will not allow," the Geo Archon added.
"Let me guess, Mister Zhongli wants to bury himself inside [your name] as well, doesn't he?" Childe interrogated, glaring at the gentleman whose arms were crossed together.
"I do not simply wish to bury myself. I will defile [your name]."
Even before the Harbinger could respond back, the Anemo Archon blurted.
"Eeh?! That's very kinky of you, Morax! You mean you want your cum oozing out of [your name]? Or you want to cover her body with it? Or you just want to stretch her out with your biiiig dick?" To this, the Geo Archon responded with a low chuckle.
"Heh! Mister Zhongli, I didn't expect you to be this vulgar! In fact, I thought you'd be the first to give [your name] some respect. It seems I was fooled. But hey, it's just like that time in Liyue, yeah?" Childe growled. "Not today, Morax. Did you seriously think I would just let you toy my wife?"
"Not without us, right??" Venti chortled, earning him an angry glance from the Snezhnayan man.
"Haha... Even if you wished to, I believe you are not capable to stop me."
Chaos was about to transpire as the Geo Archon and the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger shot daggers at one another, both waiting and ready to pounce, their flames fueled by the playful Anemo Archon's remarks. However, the quiet Chief Alchemist knew better. He knew that if you started to wake up, they will disappear and this evening will be a wasted opportunity. Of course, none of them wanted that.
"Ahem. Everyone, I have a proposal to make," Albedo spoke, catching the attention of the group. "It may sound absurd but I think we should learn how to share. We need to work together if we want to take advantage of this moment."
Share. Work together. Big words. Would it really be possible for these possessive men to actually share? To work together? But no matter how much they resented it, it was the only feasible thing to do. After all, their common goal was to make the most out of their capability to manifest in your world. And with Albedo's agreeable logical idea, using their unique abilities, everyone decided to cooperate.
...
It was a very uncompromising position for you as three men, all with the desire to leave no inch of you untouched, feasted on your unconscious form. You had no choice for you were their sleeping beauty and they could toy you as they pleased.
"Ehe~! Albedo was right! I didn't know you were sensitive here, Windblume?" Venti remarked as he nibbled on the flesh of your side, making you softly gasp in pleasure.
"Hey, Mister Albedo, aren't you going to join us?" Childe asked, squeezing both your erected nipples. "You three did a good job, you know? See, I can do basically whatever I want without waking [your name] up!" he enthusiastically said, roughly kneading your two lumps of flesh with his broad hands. "You're really missing out."
"Indeed," Zhongli concurred, loosening your pussy with three digits. "If you fear [your name] will awaken from sleep then worry not. Barbatos may not look like it but rest assured he has induced our beloved in deep slumber with his lullaby."
"Ehehe! Morax actually praised me! But giving our muse a pleasant dream is an important recipe too. Plus, you did so much with your potions. Now come and join us!"
Venti leaned his cheeks on your tummy and skillfully rubbed your clit. The double whammy on your womanhood made you moan louder, to which Childe pouted. Still giving your breasts attention, Childe invaded your parted mouth with his tongue and muffled your erotic voice with a sloppy kiss.
"Thank you all for your offer but please don't mind me," Albedo, still clothed, politely declined as he smiled contentedly at the profane scene before him.
After capturing the image in his mind, Albedo returned to his clipboard and engraved the erotic memory in art. Meanwhile, the other three men returned to their own businesses and continued to abuse your defenseless body.
Zhongli retracted his hands from you then positioned himself in front of your entrance. The Liyue god spread your slick with the tip of his cock while pumping his shaft, lubricating his big erection in the process. To this, Venti got up, gave Zhongli enough room, and continued to play your sensitive nub. Meanwhile, Childe peeked at the pornographic scene and began to choke his own cock with his hands. Now feeling your cunt weep in loneliness, Zhongli smirked and pushed his whole length inside of you in one push, making you arch your body and gasp lewdly in response. Venti mused at your angelic voice while Childe squeezed his own manhood harder.
Childe pumped his shaft faster, turning himself on by watching the two Archons molest your body. The Geo Archon rocked his hips to and fro, sensually massaging the walls of your tight cunt. Meanwhile, the Anemo Archon excitedly puffed your mouth with his cock, stifling whatever lewd sound came from your lips. Sounds of clapping flesh, Zhongli's low growl, Venti's melodious moan, and Childe's choked groans were the only music echoing your room. The three men pleasured themselves with your body until all of them released at once: Zhongli's filling your pussy, Venti's serving as your swig, and Childe's staining your tummy.
Cooperating with each other, they all switched places. Childe scooped the cum littered on your body before feeding it to your quivering lips. He then began to give life to his flaccid manhood by giving it a massage. Meanwhile, Venti gave your pussy a quick lick before rubbing his energetic cock on your slit to coat it with love juice. Zhongli, on the other hand, sat back to watch.
The Anemo Archon squeezed your plush thighs before slowly entering your wet cunt. Venti relished the way how your gummy walls felt and took his precious time bottoming out. He buried himself deep, grinding and rocking his pelvis against yours to explore your warmth. On the other hand, Childe spitted on his erection to serve as lubricant. He pumped his shaft while prodding the tip of his cock on your lips. He parted your mouth so he could feed you his whole length in a nice deep throat.
Venti's and Childe's rhythm started differently, wherein Childe's was abusive while Venti's was leisurely. It didn't take long before they both got lost in pleasure, now corrupting your holes wildly. Zhongli ogled the wanton love-making before him and watched how Venti and Childe came together deep inside of you accompanied by the harmonious sound of an excited squeal and a low grunt.
After coming down from their highs, the three men swapped places again, this time with a special request from Childe.
"Mister Zhongli, why don't you take the rear for me?"
The three men adjusted your positions wherein Zhongli penetrated your behind, Childe entered your womanhood, and Venti made use of your mouth. Zhongli did slow, shallow thrusts to let Childe enjoy brutalizing your tighter than ever wet cunt. Meanwhile, Venti simply let his cock sit in your mouth. The two Archons did not move and let Childe debauched you roughly, their resting cocks stimulated by your rocking body.
Having Zhongli in your ass, your pussy hot tighter that it became hard to move inside - a challenge Childe made for himself. The Harbinger knew you liked it rough so he eagerly pistoned his cock in fast deep thrusts. The wet walls squeezing him clenched and he knew you were going to cum. He kept pounding and pounding until he shook in overstimulation and unintentionally released all his seeds.
Childe heaved as he filled you to the brim. With a plop, he unsheathed himself from you to let the cream flow out of your abused pussy. It was cue for the two Archons to continue stimulating themselves. Venti placed the head of his manhood inside your mouth, your teeth grazing the neck of his penis, and massaged his shaft. Meanwhile, Zhongli fucked your rear in slow deep thrusts. In their own pace, the Archons reached their highs and soon came inside your holes.
The three men ogled your form: your holes leaking a mix of love juice; your chest rising up and down in taking deep breaths; your lips quivering as drool dripped its corner. Thoughts of how they defiled you played in their minds. Yet a common question plagued them.
Were you able to cum?
"Thank you all for your cooperation. May I have the honour?" Albedo spoke gently.
The men gave way so the Chief Alchemist could have his chance. Albedo observed the bastardized state you were in.
Damn did you look hot.
"I'm here, my princess," Albedo whispered in your ear as he freed his cock from its moist restraints.
Albedo pecked your lips and tucked the strands of hair away from sticking on your forehead. He caressed your hips, slid his hands down your thighs then pressed your clit, making you gasp in pleasure. A good reaction. His lips smugly curled upward before he sheathed himself fully inside your cunt.
The three men had their erections from watching Albedo pump your pussy in a mating press - each of his thrusts making a lewd squelch. Stray erotic moans often escaped your lips, further arousing the watchers and luring them deeper into depravity. Albedo kept his pace calculated, pistoning with the right combination of depth, rhythm, and speed.
Your breathing became erratic as your body begged Albedo to fuck you more. But it wasn't enough. Albedo kept teasing you - pretending to give you orgasm only to stop - until your pussy tried to suck him deeper.
The three men surrounded you and Albedo, pumping their cocks in desperation. Moans and grunts filled the room orchestrated by Albedo's rough pistoning. Climax was fast approaching and all of you were on edge. It didn't take long before you came and squirted all over Albedo. The scene made the watchers spill their seeds all over, each with their own grunts and growls. Albedo unsheathed himself and, with a choked moan, he joined in spurting his cum.
Basking in the joy of orgasm, everyone panted in satisfaction. Albedo, in exhaustion, leaned his forehead on yours before victoriously declaring.
"Hah... My love, only I can make you feel this good."

More Reverse Isekai Hcs with the Twins
another one with more focus on Vash, but Nai is there too. V relationship with reader so absolutely nothing going on with the twins.
also mention a not sfw song at the very end
•Vash loves window shopping. there's so many interesting things on Earth! Vash drags you around to each store and always ooo's and ahh's at everything. obsessed with stickers and animal shaped things (especially when it comes to cooking.)
•he bought animal cookie cutters and immediately tried them out and was both slightly disappointed and dying of laughter when the cookies came out way rounder than when they went in. Vash frosts them very seriously either way, holding in laughter at how they look. he can't hold it any longer when you catch his attention, holding up what was meant to be a bear, decorated with nothing but a small 'c:' on its face. you're wavering straight face and almost serious voice saying "he chonky" has him losing it.
•every once in a while when Vash is putting something in the oven, he'll quote that copypasta "Why do they call it oven when you of in the cold food of out hot eat the food?" Nai wants to smack him everytime he says it.
•speaking of, Vash quite likes internet language. he's not excessive with using them, but sometimes Vash'll be like 'look at the doggo/pupper!' he also starts saying lol and pog. he doesn't say them in public much though. he's still trying to learn about the difference in online culture and offline culture.
•unlike Nai, Vash finds merchandise fascinating. he loves looking at plushies, figurines and charms, he thinks it's all so cool! Vash buys you all matching phone charms. it makes him so happy whenever he spots it dangling from yours and Nai's phones.
•but speaking of, Vash finds out about the figurines of himself and if he can, he's absolutely buying them. he's looking at them and is all like damn I look so cool! and rubs it in Nai's face that he has not only more, but cooler figurines.
•Vash recreates the poses of them too, aiming his finger gun at you, before yelling out a bang, lifting his arm up in fake recoil. you gasp, griping at your torso, dramatically falling to the floor. "help me Nai, I've been shot!"
Nai rolls his eyes at the two of yours antics, making his way towards you and picking you up. As he makes his way towards your bedroom he says, "I have to give her medical attention, don't bother us."
Vash's eyes widen as he gets up to follow Nai. "Now wait a second!"
•the dorks actually do know how to share you. it was a little rough at the beginning but they've learned and figured things out pretty well! they don't fight for your attention, but they do get a little jealous, and pouty if you give too much attention to the other often. they're both pretty touch starved so good luck lol. however they do read eachother well and know when not to try and get your attention from the other.
•Vash would've loved the time when mustaches and the peace symbol were insanely popular.
•speaking of mustaches, Vash once came home wearing one of those fake glasses with mustache and nose disguises. when you turned to welcome him home he responded with a serious face, "who is Vash?" you fake a gasp asking who he is and what he's doing there. before Vash can respond, Nai is getting up with a grin on his face. "well since we don't know him, we can kick him out and make sure he can never get back in."
Vash nervously laughs, waving his hands, "we don't need to go that far haha.."
Nai laughs back mockingly,"why not? you are breaking into our house, stranger."
Vash immediately yanks the glasses off, "look! its me! Vash!" you gasp and run up to him, hugging his side. "Vash! there was a tall scary stranger in here! I'm glad you're here to help Nai protect me!"
Nai watches as Vash coddles you. he'd be lying to himself if he said he hated the antics you two do. he watches you give Vash a kiss on the cheek before walking over and pulling you away from Vash. "I'm the one that protected you, why are you praising him?" he asks, staring at you with narrowed eyes. Nai may look angry but really, he just wants kisses too.
•Vash loves bees! he'll go out to the little garden he's been working on and watch as bees and butterflies come by. it's one of his favorite pastimes.
•Vash is very involved with the community. he always offers the neighbors any extra food he's made and seeing if anyone needs help. he's happy to mow someone's lawn or weed a garden and do any small chores someone may be unable to do. Vash also goes around and tries to volunteer a lot since he can't really work. as much as he likes exploring hobbies, he gets a little restless being at home so much.
•Vash wants to try eating everything and that doesn't just include meals. somehow Vash learned that dandelions are edible and the next time you two take a walk, before you truly realize it, you're watching Vash shove the yellow part of a dandelion flower into his mouth.
•but seriously he really does want to try eating different plants. Vash does a lot of research and is always giving Nai suggestions of foods to incorporate into meals.
•if Vash could, I could absolutely see him working in the medical department as a pediatrician. he loves kids a lot and he's great at playing with kids, comforting them and making sure they feel as happy as they possibly can be at the hospital. he always jokes around with them, gets to know each kid he works with and always tries to be there for them when they're sad or scared.
•likewise, I know I said Nai would work at a book store, but I like to imagine Nai could become a surgeon. he's not lost to the irony in it, that he's saving lives, but it's just something he's taken an interest in. he wants to learn about human anatomy. (idk how to explain it really but it just makes sense to me. he'd be good at it too, never gets tired, steady hands, keen eyes, very precise)
•prank Vash a little bit when it comes to the modern era. tell him that when the plane lands everybody claps and applauds the pilots. Vash almost did that the first time he went flying, he lifted his hands up, but he was confused when no one started clapping. he catches on quickly that it was a prank.
•Vash combusts if you ever sing E.T by Katy Perry. stare at him as you sing it and he'll get so red in the face. he's covering his face with his hands and curling into himself and whining out to stop.(he doesn't want you to though)
•same with if you prank him and show him that The Bad Touch by Bloodhound Gang. go up to him and tell him you have a cool popular song to show and he lights up, Vash likes pretty much all of the songs you show him. when the song starts, he's bopping his head to the beat and tells you, smiling, it's cool so far. then the lyrics start and Vash's smile immediately falls and he blushes so hard. he can't even look at you and you're laughing your ass off at his reaction.
•Nai, the boring fucker, would just raise an eyebrow at you. he either doesn't fall for your pranks or just has no reaction. shame.

Can you do cod x dsmp ?? Like, not nsfw, angst/fluff maybe. Tommy meets TF141 (like teleports to their world?? Thanks!!!
the way i was so viscerally enamored with this idea i practically threw my phone across the room when i got it? thank you for getting me out of the tiktok doom scroll, anon, here's your stuff!
c!tommy meeting TF 141
tags: hurt/a bitty bitty bit of comfort, ptsd, panic attacks, shapeshifter!tommy, reverse isekai
tommy...okay, well he did know how he got here.
he'd been grabbing some wood, seen a weird looking portal, and without thinking; he'd stepped into it. honestly, generally considered a stupid move, but what should he have done? thought before he acted?
ha...haa.
of course not.
he'd toppled into some small room, slamming into some cleaning supplies, and what seemed to be potions, a few of which fell onto him. he made a loud noise of shock and surprise, and heard a sudden explosive noise.
immediately, he went rigid, tail wrapping around his waist as he shrunk into the wall. as if understanding his desire to hide, he felt his skin shift a little, mottled greys blending into the cement he was pressed again.
of course, his clothes didn't change with it, so really, the only difference was his hands and face.
when the door swung open, he was greeted with the sight of a heavily armored and, seemingly armed, man. he was tall, with a mask like a skull, and for a long moment he stared at tommy. just barely, he could see his eyebrows furrowing.
he kept his gun trained on tommy, and muttered something. tommy's ears twitched, trying to get a handle on whatever the hell he was saying, but he couldn't manage it in time.
the man grunted an affirmative, and suddenly surged forward, raising his gun and slamming the butt of it onto tommy's head.
he was dreaming, he was sure of it, standing on a subway track. across, his brother-- no, a simulacrum of his brother, stood, frowning.
"tommy?" he said, a vivid, still bleeding slash across his chest, and a puff of white that seemed to be starting to build in his hair. "tommy, what are you doing here? you're not supposed to be here, i thought-"
a train rushes past, the noise of it causing tommy to jolt awake, the sound of it hitting the tracks still blaring in his ears.
he was in another cement room, this one less crowded, and his hands were cuffed to the table in front of him. he swallowed, feeling the slight ache in his lip at the tusks now growing there. just like his brother's.
he swallowed, and felt them recede back into his usual incisors, as the door opened.
"that is fucking horrifying." came a gruff voice, accent similar to his own.
"thanks." tommy said, voice holding more attitude than he'd really meant it to. great job, idiot, piss off your fucking captors. great. great. he was so fucked.
"what the hell is...that? what happened to you? ghost said you were doing some chameleon shit."
"where am i?" he asked instead.
the man pinched the bridge of his nose. "you, are at a safehouse, far away from where we found you. lucky for you, the brass are not yet aware of your existence, but if you don't start answering questions, you've got some scientists in your future."
no.
white jackets, needles, muzzles and cages, thoughts of all that ran through his mind. except, this time, wilbur wasn't hear to peek in through the small basement window. this time, wilbur wasn't hear to use all of his strength to rip away the bars, and shove his thin body through to help tommy clamber out. he was alone. he was alone, and they were going to put him back-
"hey, hey kid, calm down." the man started to soothe, hand coming out to pat at his shoulder, but tommy just flinched away. his wrists rubbed something awful against the metal of the cuffs, and he let out a raw, choked noise. he could feel his body shifting around him, trying to find a safe foothold to keep tommy's panic at bay, but all it was doing was causing further pain to gather in his spine.
"no scientists, come on, it's okay." the gruff voice tried again, much closer now- kneeling in front of him. there was more light, aside from the fluorescent ones in front of him, and tommy swiveled his head to the door. there was another human man, the masked one again he guessed; even with his different mask.
"back off, price." he barked. the man who'd been trying to calm him down looked at the masked man for a long moment, before glancing back at tommy and stepping away. "hey, kid, what's your name?"
"what?" tommy forced out, voice not dissimilar to the gasp someone made when they came up for air out of a lake.
"name."
"tommy."
he sucks in a heavy breath, barely visible eyes twitching for a moment, and takes a few strides across the room.
"no scientists." he said, repeating what 'price' had said. "no tests. nothing like what you're used to." tommy watched with big eyes as the man strode closer, stopping a few paces away. "you need to calm down."
yeah, like it was that fucking easy. prick.
"we're not playing the 5 things game, because i'm pretty sure that wouldn't help, so you just need to fucking breathe, yeah? 4-5-6, or whatever breathing exercises work for you."
box breathing. puffy called it box breathing.
the first breath rattled through his chest, but the second came easier. he felt his skin slowly begin to slow in it's shudder, before calming altogether. it took a moment to realize feather wings had pulled their way out of his back, tucked close against his back under his hoodie.
"you got it." the man said, visibly hesitant. the feathers now on tommy's face bristled as he stepped closer.
"we need to ask you some things." he said finally, eyes flicking to price. "namely, what the fuck is going on with you?"

So I was thinking about creating a loose list of recs for ORV fans or, in other words, "If you liked ORV, you also may like this." I decided to add things less obvious because I think people already read works like Trash of Count's Family, etc.
Tumblr media
Princess Tutu
“The beginning of a story is a sudden event; the start, a happy accident, the end, the fate for which it's meant. A story that never ends is a sad fate.”
Let's start with Princess Tutu (PT), anime, not manga because they're different. I watched it about a week before ORV and after finishing both, I can't help but notice their similarities. However, meanwhile, ORV is about the relationship between the reader, the author, and the protagonist, and PT is more about the relationship between the author and their creation: the story and its characters. Don't let the name fool you, don't be like me. It's much darker than I expected from this style and genre. Be ready for angst.
Plot: Ahiru is a small duck in a pond. One day she notices a dancing boy with a very sad gaze. Boy every day goes to dance near the pond and the little duck is completely mesmerized by him. She can't help but notice sadness and loneliness in his dance. She wants to make this boy smile and at that moment a writer Droselmeir appears. He tells her that she could do this by collecting shards of his broken heart but under some conditions. He gives her a magic pendant that can transform her, first into an ordinary human girl, then into the graceful ballerina Princess Tutu, a fictional character from the tale that was doomed for tragedy in the original story.
Later we find out that this city is kinda enchanted by Droselmeir's tale (reverse isekai before it became mainstream) and some characters broke out of the tale like the boy by the lake - Mytho or Raven - the villain of this tale. Tale elements blend interestingly in the city and its residents.
Also, I have no idea wtf is happening with the main characters' dynamic in this complicated rectangle, but there is no straight explanation for this.
I can't help but see some parallels between Mytho - KDJ, Fakir - both YJH & HSY, Ru - HSY, and Droselmeir - Dokkaebi. I love how the story describes characters doomed by narrative and the struggles of being a writer. Also, all of these subtle references to fairytales at the beginning of the episode? Love it. I bet there are more references for the ballet part, but I probably didn't get it. I gently encourage you to check it out. (Definitely not gently, I'm as desperate as Kim Dokja trying to advertise TWSA to other people)
“May those who accept their fate be granted Happiness, may those who defy their fate be granted Glory.”
Miss not Sidekick
It's a much simpler read, just to chill and have fun while laughing at Mc shenanigans. Plot: Typical isekai story, where Mc is a fan of the internet novel of the reverse harem genre. When isekaied decided to invent popcorn and enjoy full time 4d immersion in the story.
There are not so many similarities in themes like with Princess Tutu, but more the role of MC – Latte as reader. I liked how she continued to behave like a spectator of a story inside Isekai world, treating it like she's inside a special 4D theater, not existing in this world as a part of it, until she couldn't.
Until her 4th wall is shattered (*badabums* it's a bad pun, she doesn't have it like kdj) and she realizes she could actually die, (quite shocking I know). Also, MC invents BL for this world and converts other people into it. Overall, the art style is different from other isekai romfant and it's something you need time to get used to, but after a while, you understand it suits perfectly for the narrative and silly tone of the comic.
Inso's Law or My Life as an Internet Novel
I feel like it's more reverse isekai similar to orv, where the story becomes part of your life. But if in KDJ's case, this transition is obvious and life-crashing, then in MC's situation is really creepy. It blends seamlessly into her regular life making her feel insane because everything remains the same except having a whole new friend who behaves like your bestie and a different school, where everything starts to feel like a romantic novel full of clichés. MC like KDJ is also unreliable in her perception of others here and thinks her knowledge of clichés like a reader-outsider makes her more omnipotent than she really is. Too bad they used 3 person POV, so it's really obvious, but funny nevertheless. (One of the cases where she thinks one of her classmates is a girl pretending to be a boy cause of some kind of cliché family drama, when in fact it's just a boy and I find it funny how this classmate looks like Jang Hayoung twin and have similar fate, poor souls) guess she also has similarities in her character to pre-scenario or regular life KDJ. They both seem to have this introverted avoidance type of personality. I'm curious about supernatural events happening in manhwa and I hope we'll get some explanation for it.
Pandora Hearts
Nice little thing with funny and cute tea parties that everyone would enjoy. 😍
SHHH, nothing about the plot. Let it be a small surprise for you.
It's all vibes and similar tropes now, folks.
Like dynamic between the main trio: Gilbert - Oz - Alice YJH - KDJ - HSY. Also this time loop thing? Daddy issues? Self-sacrifice as a form of love? Ugh. (Also, I need this scene with Oz and Brake "Where in the world are you?" But with KDJ. Maybe I even draw it).
It's all for now, maybe I'll write more. Please share the recs if you have them!

Creator/Self Aware/ Reverse Isekai Au
Small spoilers for Caribert quest. Reader's lover is implied to be biracial.
Due to popular demand, I'll give Sagau Headcanons (well short stories.) This is for Creator Au, Self Aware Au and Reverse Isekai Au. (This is the only time I'm writing Creator Au)
To those who read my Sagau stories just a heads-up I don't write for Imposter or Cult AU.
These will be for the three Aus. Obviously it won't be a full story well it turned into a mix of stories and hcs, because I am a dumbass who forgot the Difference between the two.
I do angst so yk what to expect.
Creator Au
Reader becomes God and is stuck in Genshin playing God. They absolutely hate it, but play along for the time being. Whilst playing God, a shooting star appears one night. Catching the star, they get a message from their lover saying they'll stop by for a visit.
Through out the next nights, they wait on a balcony for some type of sign. Their favorite characters question it, and give up when they don't receive the answer they wish for.
Falling into Teyvat, a gold star passes through landing on the balcony next to them. The acolytes ran in, staring at the outlander hugging their God. They reached out their weapons to fire, only to see their grace hugging them back.
After quick introductions, they all went their separate ways. One day, Creator wakes up and notices their partner suddenly went missing. They search for them for awhile not finding them. Eventually they find a corpse laying not too far from the place they live. After checking it's revealed to be a hilichurrl with it's head chopped off. Standing up they went to leave it, until they noticed their partner's wedding ring on the the deceased hilichurrl.
Obviously gods got in trouble and Reader ends up cursing their people in response.
Self Aware Au
While traveling Teyvat with your team you explore and come across a time challenge. After multiple attempts at failing you hear Amber saying what you assume to be "Aw don't worry about it." It surprised you but you continue on playing. Much later on down the line when co-oping you get hurt really badly. Your co op partner finishes the boss. Their Ganyu approaches bending down checking over your Marin's injuries.
"Are you okay?" Their Ganyu begins healing your character before getting back into position. You remain stunned for a moment, until she says and does her idle line and pose. You go to question your partner, and they respond saying they "didn't see Ganyu walk off." They also mention that, "You should only be able to control the characters you have and that they can't walk off when you're controlling them."
Confused, you look up information on the internet about this specific voiceline, only to see nothing.
Reverse Isekai
Characters I'll be using for this Kokomi, Nahida, Heizou and Venti
Also No I do not have favorites
Nahida will sit in on nights you do your Sumeru world quests. She tries to think of solutions to the problems you face. If you play showing her the Sumeru Archon quest, she'll most likely be sad by remembering the events.
Most likely she'll have to go to school to integrate with this society.
For some reason I can see her ending up in Anya forger situations, but she always gets out of them herself.
Heizou
Heizou is not one meant for housework. I can see him working for the military again being gone months to days.
Probably enjoys being out and going out late for dates during Fridays and Saturdays that you're available.
In his spare time, he'll read or play the game with you.
Like Nahida, I can see him trying to find other ways for the Traveler to avoid or get out of bad situations the game puts them through.
Kokomi
I remember her at one point saying "she doesn't want to be a leader."
Most likely would be an employee happy to not have responsibilities for once.
She's good at house work and works hard to repay you for letting her stay with you.
Late night dates walking at the beach.
When playing the game, she'll probably check in on Watatsumi island to make sure everyone is okay in her abscence.
Venti
Venti will Probably would be shocked to meet you for the first time?
He acts like a freeloader and doesn't do anything. Jk he's a musician and actually makes a good profit from it.
He slowly is getting recognized by top singers, which means you get to travel to cool places.
When he plays he spends all your hero's with and mora to make him level 90 and triple crowned.
This leads to you trying to fight him.
Probably is good at housework?
You put a tight lock on your alcohol cabinet which surprisingly gets opened by the teal haired man.

The Memory of You; Beginning / Mean / End
Tumblr media
“You are so bad at this.”
“What did you say?”
You laughed, repeating your words with a louder voice, “I said; you’re so bad at this!”
You were not even looking at him, but you could tell that he was getting irritated by the second, more so at his phone, his screen showing the graphics of the same game you had been playing these past few months—oh yes, good old Genshin Impact.
“Why is he even so weak? Is he really this useless?! What a joke!”
You peaked on his mobile screen and inquired “Who are you even talking about?” you paused, peeking your eyes to his game, “The traveler?”
“Yeah! The stupid—” he pauses, clearing his throat and hiding his face away, “Isn’t he supposed to be such a strong character? There’s no way the traveler could have defeated the enemies with this kind of level.”
You raised a brow, wondering where this animosity towards the MC came from when he just started playing the game.
Maybe he doesn’t like games in particular? Or just Genshin? Well, it’s not like you two had played other games so maybe you should let him try the others too.
“Well, you’ve got a point, the traveler is indeed kind of weak when it comes to the gameplay, compared to other 5-stars. Lore-wise, though, they made them really strong.”
“What a load of trash.”
“Yep, I agree.”
“Good-I mean, you do?” he now then faces you, head tilted to the side and brows furrowed.
“Mhm” you hummed as you nodded, pursing your lips as you leaned back on the couch and crossed your arms, “It’s so unfair that they made them so different from the lore. But every company does what every company does—they want to earn money. So of course, they’ll make the other characters more desirable than the free ones.”
He smirks then.
“Why? Why are you smirking?”
“Nothing.”
“That doesn’t look like it’s nothing.”
┌───────── · · · · ꒰⚘݄꒱₊
“It had been a while since you’ve gone outside for that long. Whoever that man is, I’d like to see him and thank him for that.”
You laughed at your friend with a hand over your face, softly biting your lower lip, “Stop it. He’s not.”
“Didn’t know you’re a tsundere, Y/n.”
You were giggling when a knock resounded from your door, opting you to hurriedly stand from your bed and rush to answer—who was it? Surely there’s no one else who would—
“Oh, it’s you,” you were faced with Mouche, the very same person who you were talking about to the friend you are still on the phone with. Wait-
“Hey, hey, hey, who’s that? Is that him? Hand him the phone!”
“Yeah, nope, goodbye. Talk to you later.” You immediately hang up without even waiting for your friend to say a single word more before raising a brow at the man in front of you, ready to question him about what he was doing here when he interrogates you first.
“Who was that?”
“What?”
He crosses his arms over his chest as he repeats with a firmer tone, “I asked you who was that.”
“My friend…?”
“What do you mean your friend? You don’t have one. Is that a lover?”
“What do you mean I don’t have one? Of course, I have a friend! I have friends!”
You wanted to assume that he was merely teasing you but he genuinely looked like he meant the question with that serious look on his face—you don’t even know if you should feel judged or not.
“If you’re only going to judge me, you should tell me first why you’re here. At my house.”
His facade fades too suddenly, his shoulders easing up despite still keeping his arms crossed, facing you more and his eyes avoiding yours simultaneously. This is not the first time he had done such a thing that you so very well knew what he was thinking even without him answering.
You sigh in defeat before opening your door wide, “Alright. Let’s play today. I’ll forgive you if you order food for us.”
┌───────── · · · · ꒰⚘݄꒱₊
“What? Are you seeing him again today? What is this, a date?”
You breathed out a sigh as soon as you leaned on the back of the bus, shrugging to yourself as you had your friend on the receiver, “I mean, I don’t know anymore. We’re just going out. As friends.”
“As friends.” You could hear your friend scoff, “As if. Y/n, what if you like him just because he looks like someone you like? From 2D all the more!”
You chewed on your lower lip as you close your eyes and heave out a sigh.
It was a question you found you couldn’t answer.
By the time you got off the bus, you immediately saw his figure, and as if he had such high senses, he meets your eyes.
He really does look like Scaramouche, you frown to yourself. One time, you actually told him about this, and he was rather… odd.
(“You know what? You look like this guy over here.” You brought your screen right next to Mouche, watching him blink at you confusedly before snatching your phone to see who it was.
“His name’s Scaramouche, he’s from the game as well. Weird, right? Your name’s Mouche too!” You giggled, but instead of hearing his usual scoffs or snides, he merely took a look at the screen and swatted it away from him–“Hey!” It was a good thing you caught it.
“Nothing like me. The real one obviously looks better.”
“Hey! How dare you say that to my favorite character like that!” you whined with a pout.
You brought the screen back beside him and he swats your hand away, you were about to tease him more when you saw how his cheeks and his ears were tainted with a red hue, eyes looking away and avoiding your gaze.)
“Wow, never envisioned you to be a gentleman,” you send him a look, to which he only glared at and scoffed as if he hadn’t just pulled a chair for you before he took a seat on his own.
“You got me wrong all along then,” he flashes you a smirk with his chin up and crossed arms. Ah, the nerve—
“Yes, such a perfect person you are,” you mocked, earning a raised eyebrow from him.
You kept to yourself as you pondered over your friend’s question earlier, (“What if you like him just because he looks like someone you like?”)
Because… what if you were?
┌───────── · · · · ꒰⚘݄꒱₊
“You’re sighing once again, what is it?”
You couldn’t help but glance over at Mouche, his brows knitted and his lips pursed downwards, “Oh, nothing. Just… thinking.”
“Hm,” he looks away, seemingly uninterested but still adding on “You’re worrying for nothing, whatever that is.”
It was your time to raise a brow, “What do you think I’m worried about?”
He shrugs, “Just something useless.”
You hesitated before facing away from him, stopping in your tracks “But what if it’s about you?”
He follows your suit and stops walking as well, his gaze boring into you as if he was piercing your soul with them.
“What about me?”
“Ah, nevermind-”
He steps your way and leans forward, “What? What is it? Spit it out.”
“No, no, it’s nothing-”
“It’s not nothing if you couldn’t even remember what I was saying before I called you out for spacing out on me.”
“I-” you stagger, hesitating for a long while, looking him in the eye only to sigh heavily in defeat, “alright, alright, fine! You win!”
You looked around the area as he smirks on his own, placing his hand on his waist and leaning on his side, “Just spit it out. I’m quite curious what it is you’re worried about, for me, nonetheless.”
He is definitely teasing you, but you can’t really back out now that you’re pulling his arm to follow you down on a bench nearby,
“Ha, so you are worried about me.”
“Shut up.”
“But it’s true,” he smirks wider.
“Stop it-I just… I’m not worried about you,” you look away from his intense gaze, feeling the back of your neck heat up, “I’m worried because of you.”
“Hm?” he raises a brow, “go on.”
You chew on your lower lip, fidgeting with your fingers, only for you to feel your chin be raised with his fingers, letting you meet his eyes once again—the same eyes that you’ve always wondered if they were contacts or not but hey… they look pretty. Really, really pretty (you already forgot what you wanted to say at this point).
“Go on,” he says.
Ah, shit, you cursed in your mind, your face heating up—how are you so close to him? How is he making your heart beat like drums? How is he making you feel like this if you–
If you only like him just because he looks like someone you like in a stupid game.
Stupid heart.
Stupid you.
You like him already.
“I like you.”
Stupid.
You could hear your heart beating in your ear the whole time that you two were engulfed in silence, only for him to chuckle, showing off a rare smile you doubt you ever saw from him—he looked…
“Amusing,” he says, tilting his head to the side, “You’re very amusing, Y/n.”
You wanted to pull away but he still have a hold on your chin (and you kind of did not want to get out of it-).
“What? I… I like you as a friend! Yeah! T-That’s it!”
“Mhm, I hear you,” he pulls away and crosses his arms, looking at you with that smug look on his face.
You leaned back as well, trying to hide your face away from his gaze. You can’t even come up with a comeback at this point.
“U-uhm, I think I should go home-”
“Wait, what are you doing?”
You stop on your tracks before you could even stand, feeling his hand on your wrist.
One thing you noticed from him and never really expected were how soft his hands were, and how gentle he holds you with them.
Damn.
“You haven’t even heard what I want to say yet.” he stands as well, but this time, you could only silently watch and listen, because for some reason, your throat is all dried up and you couldn’t find either a voice or words to say anything. At all.
“Y/n,” he leans forward and before you could even brace yourself, he begins a conversation that you probably couldn’t remember anymore.
“Unfortunately, I like you too,” he smiles, but funny enough, it wasn’t as bright as the previous one earlier. But now, you can't see his face as he leans next to your ear, his voice low and his breath so warm you could barely feel anything else.
“But I don’t think we really should feel that way to each other.”
He leans away and just as you regained your breathing back, he takes a hold of your hand.
“W-wait wha-“
“I lied to you,” he cuts you off, his eyes on your interlaced fingers. You could feel his thumb massage your skin gently, soothing you down and also making your heart raise all the same.
“My name, I mean.” He meets your eyes, “My name… is Kunikuzushi, but there’s really no point saying this because… all your memories that has me here, you’ll forget all of them.”
“What-“
“You will forget me, and you will forget everything.”
“What’s your name aga-“
“You know me. You already know me.”
You grasped his hand tight and pulled him closer. “Did you just say your name is… Kunikuzushi?”
He flashes you a smirk—or tried to, anyway.
“You really are amusing.” He squeezes your hand and raises them, pressing a kiss on it. “It was nice hearing you say my name. It was nice… meeting you, Y/n.”
He lets go of your hand.
“Stay amusing, will you?”
And he disappears.
From your sight;
From your mind,
All the way from the start;
But not from your heart.

This isn't a request or anything but I just had a showerthought. In a reverse-isekai Zhongli and Itto would 10000000% fall for the nigerian prince scam 😂
And as much as I love them, I wouldn't allow them unsupervised internet access until they mastered readers "how to recognise and avoid scams" class
Itto would fall victim to every known scam in existence and it'd probably just be safer to keep him away from the internet all together
You think you got him completely protected with multiple lectures and tons of antivirus software, but then you come back to a 200 dollar bank deduction and five separate instance of malware because there were hot singles in the area (which he swears he only clicked on because he thought that meant something entirely different)
Meanwhile Zhongli is probably pretty well versed in the traditional scams, he was a god over a city of trade after all, so while he might suck completely at bartering, he's not one to just let people lie to him flat out
Of course that doesn't really apply over the internet—
Poor guy would lose so much money because he's both overpaying (rich person syndrome of overestimating price/buying the most expensive version because he's used to a higher price equaling better quality/not knowing how your money works anyway and assume something crazy like 1 Mora = 1 dollar) and falling victim to having an actual conscious, which you just can't afford to have on the internet
Don't let him shop online, just don't, but on the bright side, at least his chance of getting viruses isn't super high, and no one can top Itto when it comes to disregarding internet safety in comical ways anyway
He'd probably fully believe that a website having a firewall means that if he ever visits that site your poor computer would burst into flames and maybe explode
Meanwhile Zhongli's browser history would just be five hundred pages of random questions about your world, culture, and how to fit in modern society without people thinking you're a God 101
He might accidentally be put on a few FBI watchlists when he gets around to researching nuclear weaponry tho—

When the Villainess shines through
I love villainess isekais so much but I feel that a lot of these titles, even ones I’d consider personal favourites, kinda fail to see the inherent appeal and potencial of a villainess character in itself. Like don’t get me wrong, it can be pretty fun to see a villainess that was once mean and generally disliked become cute and nice and beloved by all. It’s wholesome, it’s sweet etc etc. But I personally feel that the thing that really sets the villainess apart - and the way the story around her builds itself - is that by definition, a villainess is a character to opose the heroine. And I don’t mean it just in the literal sense of opposing the heroine’s goals and inflicting harm etc but in the sense that a villainess is what the heroine cannot be.
In most stories outside the still somewhat niche villainess isekai genre, this is supposed to be a death sentence. But, I can’t help but to think that with the direction some of these stories have been taking, the villainess is instead a character that is allowed to be what the heroine cannot be - and that is where it becomes interesting.
See, a villainess isekai has, in my opinion, two most common routes that it can take it’s main character through; the first one is what likes of ‘Hamefura’ or ‘When the villainess loves’ do, which I call ‘Becoming the heroine’. When following through the BTH route, the villainess character - usually by the means of reincarnation - is stripped of all if not most of the traits that made her villainous in the first place. This villaines is kind, sweet, something of an air headed and generally in possession of child like innocence and naivety. By all means, traits not unlike of your average heroine. In these stories, although the world might initially be against her, the villaines should eventually come through - winning her enemies over by kindness and love, and with that, turning the power they held over her in her favour. It’s not uncommon for these stories to involve the ‘taming’ - by which they mean charming - of otherwise unfair and unloving authority figures such as fiances, fathers or brothers.
The second most common alternative is then what I call the Villainess Route - present in titles such as Beware of the villainess or The Villainess reverses the hourglass. In this route, the villainess is in some way or another, rewarded for her villainous traits. This is a broader definition if only for the fact that this reward will vary according to tone and subgenre of the titles. The real significance here is that whatever it is, it is understood as being earned by the villaines for her own merits as such. In these stories, it is more common for the villainess to be struggling against the current - clawing her way up - or out - of a world where she was always meant to lose. This is why it is not unheard of that the ‘happy endings’ in these stories might be as morbid as being able to die in your own terms, or going down a long pitfall of revenge.
Having said that, it becomes easy to notice certain patterns that differ these routes from one another. In the BTH stories, there is often an implicit message that somehow underlies the ‘heartwarming’ aspect that they seem to convey. That is, that for one reason or another, it is alright for the Original Villaines - and whoever might take after her - to suffer. That might seem like a reasonable message; after all, not few of the O!Villainess of the BTH routes were known for being generally cruel and innapropriate. But likewise, not few of these villainess were guilty of crimes so simple as ‘being cold’. ‘Being bland’. ‘Being demanding’. And other traits that are commonly used when to depict the image of an ‘undesirable’ and ‘unlikeable’ woman. In my opinion, it is not a coincidence that in most BTH stories, the seemingly only path where a villainous woman can be reedemed is to simply turn her into a heroine. Someone that is ‘nice’, ‘gentle’ and ‘soft’ - even when she is at the receiving end of cruelty and callousness by the people around her. This is why even if I understand why BTH can be fun and appealing, something at the core message of their narrative always kinda rubs me the wrong way.
The villainess routes on the other hand are their own special kind of fun. You see, the world might be against them as well. Like their BTH conterparts, they might be entrapped by unhappy marriages, toxic families or just overall unfair circumstances. But these characters do not just wear the mask of villany; They’re villainesses through and through: meaning that it is their essence to oppose. Pettiness, arrogance, defiance, pride, resentfulness and anger are just some things that a true villainess is allowed - and even expected to display. These are flaws, yes, but also the very qualities that allow her to win and pull through. They go against the flow, the systemn, the world and anything that stands between them and whatever might be their ‘happy ending’. And this fascinates me because not only is a genre that when done right, can tell compelling stories about unconventional ‘heroines’ that are not punished for their deviance - but it also examines the very thing they deviate from.
The only thing better than VR isekai to me is a VR isekai that is willing to extend a hand to it’s ‘heroine’ as well. Meaning, the ‘female lead to be’ of the original tale of our Villainess main character. Because it is so easy to just exchange the roles and make villainess into heroine and heroine into villainess. But there is something incredibly tasteful about a story that is willing to deconstruct both characters. A story that looks at its original heroine and displays her through the lens of someone that is also fighting their own battle! A girl that for whatever reason will not, or cannot, fight the battles that a villainess would but that is still fighting somehow. That the same way as the woman that is villainized and shamed, she too feels restricted in her role as a woman to be idolized and controlled. It is unfortunately rare but incredibly satisfying to see both villainess and heroine realize that they’re both being played by the people around them - and that together they can find an understanding and companionship they could not anywhere else. One of the only examples I can think of this take is ‘I want to be you, Just for a day’.
These are my thoughts about the potential of the villainess isekai genre and why I find it so interesting. There’s certainly a lot to unpack but I wanted to say it anyway!

and i got neighbors, they're more like strangers. we could be friends. pt 2
Tumblr media
In my own way
this feel like living
some alternate reality
The drive to her house was short and quiet except for the wind blowing noisily in his ears. After his little magic trick, she cautiously allowed him a ride in the bed of her truck to her home. She gave a halfhearted excuse about his long legs not fitting in the front or back seat comfortably, but they both knew she would just feel safer with him not confined in the same space as him. Just in case he was insane or a demon or something else, he surmised. It was a straight shot down a short highway, with few cars passing by and wispy clouds scuttling overhead. Try as he might, he still couldn’t determine what state he was in, not until they passed a state sign welcoming him to Tennessee, a place he’d never been and couldn’t recall anything interesting about it. They approached a quiet neighborhood, the houses slightly dated but nice. There were cars parked in the street at every other house and most of the lawns were neat. There were quite a few trees that hid the waning moon from his sight, but the moonlight managed to always speckle the bed of the truck with its illumination. They approached a one story house. No cars parked in the driveway or the street in front of it. The light above the garage flickered on as she pulled into the driveway. The garage began to open loudly, but she turned off the car in the driveway instead of parking inside it. She hopped down out of the car, and without a backwards glance made her way into the garage and through the door at the other end of it. She didn’t even have to tell him he wasn’t allowed inside, not yet at least. So he sat in the driveway, staring at the brown brick of her home, and the other houses along this side of the street, his long legs left to hang off the side of the bed. When she emerged from the garage, he sat up from his ungraceful sprawl and offered her a beaming smile. She only lifted one eyebrow as she warily handed over the device in her hand.
Under the glare of the bright, white streetlight, her silver jewelry sparkled a bit and left an annoying glare on the screen. He grasped the device firmly, his strength returning with every minute. The device, which he recognized as a tablet, was unlocked with an app already open.
“Shounen jump?”
“It’s where I read your… manga.” He could hear the confusion and skepticism in her voice. She wasn’t sure how to address him or his situation. His sentiments are much the same. He didn’t quite know how or what to feel. But disbelief was prevalent at the moment. What were the chances of actually being a victim of isekai? Or the reverse version of it? “It’s called Jujutsu Kaisen.”
“Kind of unoriginal,” he joked, but the words sounded flat to his own ears. He clicked the title and read the summary of the manga. “To save the world from demons—Yuji? Yuji-kun?! Is he the main character?!” He stared intently at the cover page, wholly confused by the drawing of his blonde haired student glaring back at him, along with Megumi a bit further in the back.
“What, could you not tell from the picture? Does he not give main character vibes?”
“I don’t know. I think I give those vibes best though…”
She blinked at him, eyebrows pinched as if she was looking at something peculiar. She only hummed with her lips folded inwards.
He let himself be absorbed in the manga, no longer putting up a front of playfulness or indifference. He skimmed through the first few chapters, mulled over the disturbing similarities between what he read on the screen and what he knew of these events in real life.
“So what, the sum of my life is 240 chapters long?”
“It’s ongoing but—”
She coughed a bit before she let her gaze move to the side, no longer aimed at him. He could feel that she was biting her tongue, but was too concerned about what all of this meant to really push her on her own thoughts.
“What do you remember?”
“Arriving in Shibuya and fighting a couple of curses at the station…”
She nodded her head, her own mind drifting as she tried to come up with an explanation. “Right.”
“You know something?”
Her attention had been snapped back to him after their short lull as they thought independently, but she quickly averted it once more, reluctance making her chew on that bottom lip of hers again.
“In the manga, you were sealed in the middle of you fighting those curses.” She wondered if her saying anymore than this would change the fate of the manga he held in his hands or if she was simply saving a bunch of people from their pre-written fate in some alternate universe where Jujutsu Kaisen is real life instead of some person from Japan’s paycheck. If Gojo made it back to where he came from, did that mean he went back into those pages? Did anything he would learn outside of that black and white world of his become moot? The thought made her queasy. She wasn’t sure what to do. What to say or show or hide.
For him, it was as if her words were the force itself that kept his memory under lock, but as soon as she spoke them, they crumbled into nothingness and those wispy tendrils and muddled memories became clear to him. Those terrible stitches pulled apart; that wicked, taunting smile.
“I remember.”
Her eyes met his before flitting away. She could tell from that hard look in his eyes that she didn’t need to say more on the situation. So she didn’t. The seconds passed by as she desperately tried to wrangle her thoughts into a decision. But in the meantime, she figured for now it would be best to get out of the cold.
“If you’re really the same Gojo Satoru from the m-manga, then I wouldn’t mind you staying here while you figure things out.”
He remained silent, so she tore her avoidant gaze away from wherever and looked him in his face with lidded eyes. “I don’t doubt you’ll figure this all out. Or it’ll figure itself out for you. So just come inside for now.”
Her statement was assuring, although he was sure she didn’t really intend to do so. She would be more sure of his future anyway between the two of them, so he allowed his frantic thoughts to settle. “I guess I should just allow all my cursed energy to restore itself and whatever happened to me to run its course.”
She nodded her head in agreement before she turned on her heels and walked back up the driveway. “My roommates will be out for the night, probably won’t see them for a couple of days.”
“Are you planning to have your way with me with all the distractions gone?”
He hadn’t even thought of the words before they were out in the open. He cringed inwardly, a little nervous to have made such a statement to an obviously cautious woman that relented to him staying in her home alone. She only paused for a moment however, before she continued on her way.
“Or you could sleep in the bed of the truck and freeze to death.”
“Sorry about that,” he replied nervously, “force of habit.”
He climbed out of the truck and followed behind her at what she would think was an acceptable distance.
“Honestly,” she huffed, though with her face hidden from view he didn’t know if there was any humor to it or not, “I’d expect nothing less from Gojo Satoru.”
The thrown away comment niggled at him for some reason he didn’t understand. Just like the way she spoke his first name in that unassuming voice of hers back then. “Ya know, you know a lot about me--or at least the important stuff, and I don’t even know your name.”
“Wayland,” she replied as she opened the door for them to walk through. She paused to let the garage door down before stepping inside. They were immediately in the kitchen, which was only illuminated by the light left on over the stove. She didn’t give him much time to gawk or snoop as she immediately led him through the kitchen to a hallway which showed the front door at one end as well as a wide opening to the living room. The other end showed what he thought were probably two bedrooms, the doors pulled closed, a bathroom, the door slightly opened, and a laundry room with one of two doors pulled open. He could tell that the smell of clean linen permeated throughout the entirety of the house as he noticed it as soon as he walked inside. It only served to make him long for a shower and some new, clean clothes.
She allowed him to remove his shoes at the front door and then led him through the living room to another side of the house. They walked silently into the bedroom, the light switch flipped as she passed through the threshold and escorted him directly to the bathroom. She pulled back the curtain of the shower and he was pleased to see how clean and tidy everything was, much like the rest of the house. She turned on the shower and showed him how to adjust the temperature and where the towels were along with what was her body wash and what wasn’t.
“I’ll leave some clothes outside the door and a toothbrush if you want it.”
“Are you trying to tell me something?”
She only rolled her eyes before leaving him alone in the bathroom. He took his time undressing, looking himself over in the mirror for any scars or something that could explain how this fantastical event took place.
The only thing noteworthy were his eyes. They were a dull navy blue instead of their usual prismatic, ocean blue. His cursed energy was coming back to him slowly, trickling in at a snail's pace. He tried not to think about what could have happened to him between getting sealed and waking up on that gravel road to have drained his outrageously large supply of cursed energy, but simultaneously did wonder about it all the same, more annoyed than worried that something like this happened to him of all people.
“And she’s trying to tell me I’m not the main character? Most beloved? But not the main character?” He scoffed to himself and then stepped into the shower. He allowed the scalding water to soak every inch of him to chase away the cold that nipped at him from being out in the biting October night air and having the cold wind rush past him in the bed of that truck.
His previous concerns wandered away from him under the spray of the shower head, instead replaced by the woman on the other side of the wall.
She seemed nice enough despite the wariness that painted their interactions thus far. Quiet and thoughtful. Maybe a little grouchy. She reminded him a bit of Nanami. He imagined them standing side by side, a veneer of politeness tinting their expressions as they listened to his nonsense and snorted a bit. Whereas Nanami would remain straight faced until the day he died, Wayland might just be easier to crack open if the way she always bit her lips was anything to go by.
“Her reactions are kind of funny,” he murmurs quietly. He wondered what it would take to make such a serious and cautious girl like that to crack a smile. Those dark brown eyes of hers open wide instead of squinting suspiciously were sure to be a sight for sore eyes. His eyes closed as his head lolled back, a content sigh passing his lips. “She’s pretty cute too.”
The shower left his skin smelling of lavender and his hair of something adjacent to minty. Whatever he used made his scalp feel cool and tingly. He was the slightest bit concerned for the health of his hair. He cracked open the door, mindful to remain modest as not to defile the eyes of his gracious host. He peeked at the ground and found nothing waiting for him. He called for Wayland who was crouched in front of a dark chest of drawers, pulling out items and shaking her head before she put them back.
“Sorry.” She grumbled as she passed him a large gray shirt. It smelled like it had been in the drawer for a while, but it wasn’t unpleasant. “I don’t really know what bottoms to give you.”
“Does it really matter?” He asked from behind the door. The shirt fit comfortably, which made him curious if it really belonged to her. He hoped he didn’t have to worry about any misunderstandings during his short stint here, but reassured himself that if there was cause for concern, she would have mentioned it, or at the very least she would have called them for reinforcement for her safety.
“I mean,” she sighed as she sat back down on the ground, reaching for the same pair of basketball shorts and sweatpants, “it’s all girls that live here. Finding a shirt you’d fit comfortably isn’t a problem because what girl doesn’t own a shirt five times too big for them.”
“Wow, never thought about that.”
“But the bottoms…” she trailed off just as he opened the door a bit wider. She eyed his legs as he walked towards her with the towel wrapped around his waist and another on his head. “Hm.”
“What are my options, boss?”
She didn’t acknowledge the title. “Thot shorts or ankle beaters.”
He didn’t quite understand. “Thot shorts? Ankle beaters? I don’t know what that means.”
She chuckled lightly before holding up the two choices in her hands. “You can be a hoochie daddy or you can flood.”
He found a laugh bubbling up despite the confusion. “What kind of slang is this? My English is good but these sound like fake words to me.”
She shook her head, the smallest, tiniest smirk pulled at her lip. “Okay. These shorts would fit you, but they would be extremely short. These pants would also fit you but they would stop way above your ankles.”
He smiled at her in understanding. “Okay, but really quick, what is a ‘thot’? And a hoochie daddy?”
She rolled her eyes while she shook her head. “Look it up on your own time and answer my question.”
“I’ll take the shorts,” he laughed at her deflection, “and as soon as I can, I’ll be looking those things up.”
She threw the shorts at his face with a flat expression before she stood up from the ground. “You do that, hoochie daddy.”
and i was drowning
but now i’m swimming
through stressful waters to relief

Something I wanted to share today. Today is the anniversary of losing my Dad to cancer. He was my best friend, and I miss him every day. I wanted to write a little something for the loss I feel. For the feeling of knowing I have people in my life (including my little delusion of Vash) who love me and are here for me, despite the giant hole that still lives in my heart. I wanted to write this for those who have the same feeling, and need a moment to cry for their loved one, regardless of what their title was to you. Come read this when you need it ❤️

Without them
Reverse Isekai AU
Vash had been doing his morning workout, the chilling air of the house, keeping him cool from the sweat that beaded on his body. His vertical pushups were interrupted by the sound of you coming down the stairs, fully dressed.
You had said you had the day off from work today, but he normally would have time to shower before coming up to cuddle you. You were never up before nine on a free day. Giving an extra push off of the floor, he landed on his feet.
"Mornin' Mayfly! You're up early!" You seemed to pause on the last few stairs, not realizing he had been there.
"Y-yeah, I just have some errands to run this morning. I'll be back in a bit."
"Why don't I come with you? I haven't been out of the house in a while." Vash smiled. Your gaze slipped into a frown, and you gazed to the floor.
"I…" you seemed to hesitate, "Sure, you can join me." Your smile returned a little, but Vash recognized that smile. It was the one he plastered on his face when he didn't mean it.
Vash liked to think that the two of you had a very honest relationship. If something was bothering you, or if you truly didn't want him to join you on your errands, then you would have said so.
He slipped off to his room to get clothes to keep him warm from the chilly weather. It was days like this he missed the unbearable heat of Gunsmoke.
Returning to your side, the two of you hopped into your vehicle, and made your way to a gas station.
"I just have to grab a drink real quick, I'll be right back." You returned with a drink that Vash hadn't seen you drink very often, if ever. You set the drink in the cup holder, but didn't open it.
He wanted to say something. You were definitely acting off today, but he didn't know how to address that kind of thing yet.
The next bit of travel ended in a cemetery. You rolled along the small roadway at a gentle speed, given the posted speed limit.
Vash hadn't seen very many graveyards or cemeteries on Gunsmoke, considering most people he'd met were just buried in the desert sand, where their bodies would disappear into the depths, ultimately feeding the sand worms.
You stopped the car on the side of the road, grabbing the drink, and giving a worried look to Vash before pulling yourself out of the car. You rounded the front of the car as Vash got out, allowing him to see you make your way to a gravestone. It didn't take him long to notice the death date. The one that shared today's month and day.
Vash leaned against the passenger side door as You placed the drink on the side of the gravestone, next to the small vase that had fresh flowers put in it. He saw your teary eyed smile as you gave a gentle pet to the flower's petals. He wondered if you knew who brought them. Vash took a seat on the ground next to the grave.
"I can see why you didn't want me to join you. You wanted to cry by yourself, didn't you?" His puppy eyes looked up to you. You couldn't help but give a little smile in his direction.
"I did, but I think I feel better knowing you're here. Kind of like a reminder I'm not alone anymore." You took a seat next to him.
You spent some time there talking about them. How much they meant to you, some of your favorite memories with them, and things you used to do together. Favorite restaurants, places you'd gone together, and things they had introduced you to that you now held so dear.
"And it just feels like it never gets easier, ya know? It's like every day without them is a nightmare I can't wake up from…" you looked up to Vash, who was still processing your words, "well, except you of course. You're an amazing dream I never wanna wake up from." You wrapped your arms around him, "I just wish you could have met them."
"I wish you could have met Rem too. Rem, Wolfwood, Knives, Meryl, Milly, Jesse, Brad, Frank- all of my friends. I miss them a lot. I mean, we can watch the anime whenever, but it's not the same as being there in person, ya know?"
"Yeah, we can have videos of people we've lost, but… yeah, it's not the same." You nodded. You kinda felt stupid for thinking that Vash wouldn't understand the loss of loved ones. Dead or alive, he was a long way from home, and couldn't see any friends or family. They technically never even existed.
The two of you sat in silence for a while before the two of you finally made your way back to the car.
"Hey, why don't we stop at that place you were talking about for some food? I'm starving." Vash's stomach seconded the sentiment with an audible growl. You giggled at the uncanny timing.
"Sure, I'd love to."
