why use stock over original?
For rocket jumping? Style points mostly.
At advanced levels, everything is more difficult on Stock. But I can't bring myself to switch it makes me feel swaggy 😎

A note about Carlos, mostly about Jeddah
I gotta rant because I've just been seeing a lot of opinions about what has happened to Carlos within the last week. And instead of just going under every single post explaining why you're wrong, I'm just going to write an essay. The real tumblr experience is getting emotionally invested in something, and putting more effort into your writing on here than school or work. With that being said, if you dislike Carlos then this is not the post for you 🤷♀️
The "This is the first time Ferrari has felt like a family in a long time" comments are very mean. It's actually been bothering me since last Friday. Y'all saw a man visibility sick from a condition, and he probably knew he shouldn't have jumped in the car in the first place, try and persevere just for our entertainment/ his dedication to the team, just to say that it felt more like a family when he wasn't driving has rubbed me the wrong way. Granted, I think it was dumb for him to leave the hospital against doctor's orders and go to the paddock. However, that shows how passionate he is about Ferrari. He did not have to send message wishing Ollie good luck, or show up to the Ferrari garage to watch the race in person. But he did it anyways because he genuinely loves Ferrari and has done so much for the team (you guys who continuously say that he's not a team player do not watch the same race as i do or you just straight up don't like him. But don't discredit him because you feel some type of way for whatever reason). You don't need to hear it come out of Carlos's mouth to hear how heartbreaking that is. It's his last year with the team, and he has one less chance to drive the car he's been working his whole career towards driving. Why is it that he's spoken endlessly about how much he loves Ferrari and some of y'all have convinced yourself that he doesn't. Saying that because his family members like tweets or share Instagram stories that you don't agree with is such a cop-out excuse. From what I have seen, nothing he has said or done would lead me to believe that he's not truly a dedicated member of the Ferrari family. Yes Ferrari has had periods where the team was very disjointed and fragmented. But here in 2024, that is not the case.

Do you ever wonder if there’s a market for mannequin/robot/life-sized doll bodies for Ectonurites who want to safely explore well-lit areas but don’t feel comfortable possessing living beings?
Oh that’s actually a pretty interesting idea!
What’s mostly been banging around in my head is that ectonurites have either a seasonal skin and grow a sunskin (like a winter coat but for higher UV seasons). Maybe perhaps they make like a reptile or snake and go into a shedding season but, their skin is a lot tougher and thicker than any Earth creature that until an ectonurite completely outgrows it (the telltale signs being ‘bursting from the seams’ rips and tears), it acts as a sun coat.
And like in either of these cases in the off-seasons where an ectonurite is shed, the most I really had going for sun protection was parasols and other clear sky umbrellas, which even in a world of possessable sunprotection would probably still be an ectonurite dominated market haha. Would sun-bodies (an attempt to amalgamate the mannequin/robot/doll to one term) be almost the extreme form of body modification or would it be like those regular rain umbrellas that have the extra see-through shawl to protect against side winds? Can you tell which generation an ectonurite is apart of based on what sun protection they use, parasols for the older generations and sun-bodies for the modern gen? Maybe some ectonurites can’t possess something for as long as others can, so despite wanting a sun-body they’re stuck with either parasols or just staying inside?
In other words, I didn’t think there was a market for it until you, dear anon, introduced the concept! And what a concept indeed. Haha, and ectonurites are probably already the most freeform aliens you can make a unique character out of, adding the idea of sun-bodies makes designing them all the more versatile.
I’d say it’d also depend on the surrounding sun having community, because a self-animating doll may trigger an uncanny valley feeling in probably not just humans, but any species replicated in the design of the doll; even among ectonurites. It’s one thing to know what a ghost looks like, it’s another to define something as ‘wrong’ and fear it for its differences, so just with any xeno community only do what you want when you are assured you are safe!

hi!
i know someone asked you this before but what do you thing about aging up to date people? do you think it's ok?
for example, i'm currently 18 years old in my dr, but i'm scripting myself to be 25 to date a person who's in their mid to late thirties
i don’t think i’ve ever actually talked about the age debate on here but this is always my take: aging others up or yourself is fine, for a lot of us these people we’re shifting to we’ve known and loved since we were kids (or were teens/younger) and so there’s no reason to be upset about it. aging yourself down is also fine as long as you’re not doing it for weird reasons; some people want the childhoods they never had, and that’s valid.
at the end of the day: i’m not the shifting police, i’m just a normal person like y’all. as long as you’re not being creepy or anything it’s your dr and you don’t need others to dictate what you can do in it.

I actually really like Yuuta in this fight against Sukuna despite hating his role in kenjaku’s death. I am a little worried his powers could overshadow other characters, since he can just copy Sukuna’s or Angel’s and use it against Sukuna. I don’t want it to enter in a territory similar to the Gojo fight where eventually something has to happen to kill or weaken Yuuta just because he’s overpowered either. Love the team up, just wish there was a way to make his role slightly less prominent and to let other characters shine, especially since the other characters could do well with having more development and spotlight

I see you were on the receiving end of one of cannoli-reader's massive rants about how much he hates Egwene al'Vere. That guy is incapable of being rational about her and basically thinks she's a Darkfriend - he's notorious in WOT fandom for being obsessed with Egwene to levels that even other Egwene haters think is a bit much. I think he searches for posts about her just so he can rant about how much he hates her. Disregard.
lol, I have them blocked! there was a period where they were combing through my blog and leaving comments on a bunch of my posts, and I didn’t even mind a lot of our differing opinions but the egwene post did it for me because it was very vile. I appreciated their ability to write elaborate analyses but it wasn’t going to be at the expense of basic truths intrinsic to the foundation of the characterisations and storytelling - no analysis is ever going to have any ground to stand on when it refuses to acknowledge very basic canon; if you can’t trust those very fundamental facts (for example, that egwene and moiraine are good people who make lots of questionable decisions because they’re flawed and have a bunch of personal traumas influencing those decisions or that elayne is a very empathetic and kind person and not… a spoiled and pampered princess who takes advantage of the dumb redheaded villager) then I can’t pretend that those posts are in good faith or even in defence of RJ’s supposedly inviolably precious canon because they come at the expense of personal biases and (unconsciously or not) stem from some degree of disrespect to his work. a refusal to engage with their larger place in the story indicates that the analysis was never going go be worth its salt anyway. I often trust more readers who hated the books at this point, tbh.
