im that fan that will just combine literally anything i think is cool but i have this one fanfiction where harvey ends up in a different universe with a different Mike and has to deal with it

and in the fanfiction he's dealing with chef Mike from The Bear but i watched Venom and now all i can think of is Harvey meeting Mike from the Venom universe and not knowing at first, so he's just crazy concerned as he watches Mike clutch his head and stumble around and talk to himself

and he's a good five seconds away from carrying Mike to the hospital himself on an especially bad occasion, until he pushes Mike to go to the hospital a little too much, and suddenly he's pinned against the wall by Venom

Listening to the Juno Steel finale part 1, and y'aaaaaall.

Juno Steel's speech on love. Exactly. Exactly that.

"The only way we're gonna make it together is if we're complete people when we're a part. A person can't be what you want to do with your life. We can't be together every second of every day. You need a plan for who you're going to be when I'm not around."

Like. Outside of that being beautiful for their arcs and such growth. It's the perfect words for my opinions on shipping and romance. Sounds stupid maybe. But like. Arcs that end in unending happiness because they are in love, when love is the cure for all their problems and any actual healing or reckoning is discarded, when personal growth of a character stops because now it's all about their romance and what they had going on is forgotten in the face of what is considered a greater Us. People should be growing in their romances and through them, not entirely shift identity and lose track of everything they had going on because of a relationship. Having someone at your side doesn't remove every obstacle in your way, it *does* though mean you have someone to hold your hand through it. If someone chose to be with you, they chose to be with *you*, they love you for what you already are. And that doesn't mean there isn't room for growth, everyone needs to grow and they can and they will and you can do that with someone you love. It's just when romance is considered the end all be all that gets me. No more growth, nor more flaws or struggles, Happily Ever After. When their identity loses it's individuality and becomes about the other person. But the other person does the same thing. And so now it's two empty mirrors reflecting back nothing.

I don't know. Went off a little more than intended. It's a good quote. It's a great show. This finale is gonna get me but I'm excited.
