Will, rejecting Hannibal: I miss my dogs, I’m not going to miss you. I’m not going to find you. I’m not going to look for you. I don’t want to know where you are, or what you do. I don’t want to think about you anymore.
Hannibal: you HATE Hannibal? you hate Hannibal like your capacity for violence? oh! oh! jail for Hannibal! jail for Hannibal for One Thousand Years!!!!

so. The Lights Out AU. Those that are asleep? Where on earth are they? Like where the heck is Eddie? Laying in some puddle somewhere? in a bed? Is Frank looking after him until he wakes up?
they were originally in their houses, but after a ah... incident, Wally moved them into storage room off-set. it's a bit small so they're a little crammed in there with other Props and shelves and boxes and such, but it's not like any of them are awake to mind it. Walls regularly checks on them (usually along with removing them for one of Sally's plays) and makes sure to keep the door shut tight

Mind follows direct instructions, because instructions are made to be followed. He's just kinda computer like that.
If the instructions are uninterperetable, he'll be stuck until he can interpret a meaning.
If the instructions are contradictory, he'll get stuck in the loop.
And lastly, so long as the instructions are follaw-able, he'll follow them without question, and not stop to do anything else.
Example: "Hey, Mind, fetch the eggs from the coop."
The coop has a sign that says not to wake Darrell, so he just stands there for hours until Darrell wakes up. A little unsettling when it's 3am, dark, and he's just standing there, staring at the coop is silence, just waiting..
He can, at least, know to push a push door that says pull, because doing the correct motion for the door is just logical.

a part in signalis i really love is this getting to this section for the first time
you sneak (or run) past these enemies and go to the first door you can find, anything to get away out of this room
and you're IMMEDIATELY met with this
and its like "oh this shits dark. i dont like that."
its like "okay well can i look around-"
and the fear as your gun immediately auto-locks onto something. its just "i should go. i should come back later. ill go to the previous room actually."

The universe: throws a storm that blows the power out at me that's been going on for the past 2 hours and randomly makes my nose bleed again after not even fucking TOUCHING IT
